Now that old light-in-the-loafers Shepard Smith is finally out at ‘Fox News’ might it be too much to hope for that ‘Commie Chris’ Wallace might soon be following him out the door as well? ‘Commie Chris’ has long possessed an over-inflated sense of importance, and still fancies himself an ‘expert’ on ALL things related to politics. Of course it’s in Wallace’s case that the definition of ‘expert’ is simply ‘a drip under pressure.’ ‘Commie Chris’ is a know-nothing and a fraud. Nothing more, nothing less.
It was on Friday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” “Fox News Sunday” anchor ‘Commie Chris’ once again made clear just how clueless he truly is by calling out former House Speaker Newt Gingrich for criticizing the impeachment inquiry against President Trump. During an earlier appearance on Fox News Gingrich accused Nancy Pelosi of carrying out “an unconstitutional coup d’état, an effort to use the power of the Congress to change the outcome for the American people.”
‘Commie Chris’ said, “I’m a little surprised at Speaker Gingrich, who I greatly respect. This is the exact opposite of unconstitutional. The Constitution specifically says that impeachment is left to Congress with very little statement as to how they want to conduct it. And in fact, I think I remember that Newt Gingrich did an impeachment effort, led an impeachment effort against Bill Clinton in 1998. Was that an effort to overturn an election? No, he was investigating stuff.”
He added, “We may find out that there is some there-there — there’s no there-there, but to call it unconstitutional or an effort to overturn an election, that’s a reach particularly for somebody like Newt Gingrich who was involved in the last impeachment effort.” ‘Commie Chris’ is a buffoon. It’s Gingrich who knows the CORRECT process for an impeachment and ‘Commie Chris’ who does not. Until Pelosi holds a vote to convene a REAL impeachment inquiry she can go pound sand.
It’s now clear that ‘Commie Chris’ has become so blinded by his hatred of the president that he can’t see the distinction between how Gingrich carried out the impeachment process and how Pelosi is doing so. Gingrich had a vote of the House, Pelosi has not. Gingrich allowed the Democrats due process and the presumption of innocence and the right to confront and cross examine witnesses, Pelosi has not. Gingrich allowed the Democrats to subpoena witnesses and Pelosi has not.
In 1998 the majority Republicans did things by the book. Gingrich took a vote in the full House and gave the minority Democrats representation rights on the Judiciary committee and subpoena power to call and interrogate witnesses for the defense. Pelosi has simply chosen to deny the Republicans all of those pesky constitutional rights in her clown act. And I don't recall hearing the Republicans announcing plans to move forward with an impeachment of ‘Slick Willy’ the day after he was elected.
Gingrich followed procedures, had actual evidence of wrongdoing, held the vote for the inquiry, and allowed due process rights for ‘Slick Willy.’ Pelosi and her comrades are doing the exact opposite, violating both standard procedures and denying President Trump his due process rights. Without the vote for the inquiry, and the chance for the president to confront and challenge his accusers, as well as his right of presumption of innocence until proven guilty, this clown show is unconstitutional.
There was a real crime committed in Clinton's case, perjury as defined by a court ruling. In the current case against Trump, no real crime has been committed except in the twisted imagination of the Democrats. The Democrats are choosing to ignore the real crime committed by ‘Crooked Joe’ in extorting the Ukrainian government. So we know the Democrats are not concerned with the rule of law, but with overturning an election. That's vastly different than Gingrich's impeachment effort.
Gingrich is absolutely correct. And either ‘Commie Chris’ is too stupid to understand what he's saying or simply refuses to acknowledge that Gingrich is correct. There has been no House vote to impeach. Therefore there is no valid or legal basis upon which to even call for impeachment. The Democrats are doing all of this because they are still upset that President Trump won the 2016 election and they’re trying any juvenile tactic they can come up with to try to politically hurt him. It's not going to work.
‘Crooked Joe’ Biden admitted to using his office to blackmail Ukraine to fire it's prosecutor who was investigating his son's company owned by a Ukraine oligarch and was poised to interview Hunter. As president, Trump is mandated to investigate crimes committed in a foreign country by U.S. citizens. U.S citizens who commit crimes outside of the U.S. are not protected from prosecution, regardless of social or political status. He did not ask for political dirt on a political opponent as Hitlery did.
In fact what the Democrats are doing is not an impeachment inquiry even though that’s what they’re calling it in an effort to fool the American people. What it is is nothing more than Democrat controlled committees subverting their proper functions into a political opposition research squad paid for by taxpayers. If they want to be a legitimate impeachment inquiry they have vote on it and open the process to the entire House because it is the entire House that will vote on impeachment.
Conspiring to overthrow a duly elected President of the United States is a crime, it’s called sedition, and if found guilty of said offense one becomes eligible for up to 20 years in prison. The Democrats announced on November 9, 2016 that they would stop at nothing in their goal of impeaching President-elect Donald Trump. And in the nearly 3 years since, the Democrats have attempted to manufacture all manner of “high crime and misdemeanor” that would then allow them to remove the president.
Democrats first paid for and then pushed completely unfounded accusations in the Steele Dossier, a Russian Collusion hoax, a couple of hooker ‘allegations’ and two biased ‘whistleblower’ allegations of what, exactly? Nothing! The Democrats have no ideas and no plan for run against President Trump in 2020. They see impeachment as being their only hope in bringing down the president before being made to face him in the next election. And their desperation becomes more obvious each and every day.
It’s ‘Commie Chris’ Wallace's hatred of President Trump that has caused him to lose what little commonsense and objectivity it is that he may have at one time possessed. He pretends to be a ‘journalist’ but is nothing more than a cheerleader for the left, most recently proving that by flat out disagreeing with Gingrich over Constitutional interpretation. These days he simply provides viewers with his opinion but refuses to admit that that’s what he is doing, instead he continues to claim he’s a ‘journalist.’
What’s now going on is not a constitutional exercise, it’s a temper tantrum in the extreme, an amateurish foot stamping, eye-rolling, hair-tossing, hyper dramatic valley girl tantrum by Democrats locked in teenage angst. While all of the noise they’re making is positively grating, these people are nowhere near smart enough to strategically or tactically organize even a tentative foray out of their political hookah bar. Meanwhile President Trump simply continues to ‘Make America Great Again!’
The new normal, as begun by
the Democrat Party, is if the one side elects someone the other side doesn't
like, they can impeach them. The same thing goes for judges. Our Republic
cannot withstand this type of destruction and remain a Republic. The fact that ‘Commie Chris’ refuses to
acknowledge that freedom cannot survive attacks by those who are willing to do
absolutely anything for power, just shows him to be the closet socialist that
we have always suspected him to be. Like
father, like son.
