AGAIN DEMOCRATS TRY TO USE A TRAGEDY SUFFERED BY OTHERS TO PUSH THEIR RADICAL ‘CLIMATE CHANGE’ AGENDA…

When you get right down to it Democrat politicians, as well as those who support them, are pretty disgusting individuals. So we shouldn’t be surprised that Democrats, right down to the very last one, along with every leftwing loon in the ‘fake news’ media, again were so eager to use the victims of Hurricane Ian as fodder in their continuing effort to push their cockamamie theory of manmade ‘climate change.’ And it was those of us in Florida who pretty much expected Democrat Charlie Crist, now trailing Ron DeSantis by double digits in his quest to be Florida next governor, to jump on the bandwagon, claiming that we must do something about ‘climate change.'

Now while Charlie’s plan may work to get more nutty Democrats to the polls, I don’t think ‘climate change’ is important enough of an issue to get Republicans to vote for this political chameleon. At least, as a Republican myself, that would be my guess. Or, for that matter, to vote for that nut who wants to defund the police, Democrat Val Demings, who’s running again Marco Rubio for the U.S. Senate. But in getting back to Crist, the political opportunist by which all other opportunists are measured, it was this past Thursday on MSDNC’s “Hallie Jackson Reports” that Crist said he wanted to address ‘climate change’ to reduce the size of storms like Hurricane Ian.

Crist said, “When you compare this to Hurricane Charlie, similar strengths, obviously, but the massive size of this storm, Ian is incredible. Three of the five have hit Florida. So one factor in all of this is climate change. These storms are getting bigger, they’re getting stronger, and they’re affecting many more lives as a result of it.” He added, “It is remarkable what we are witnessing, and as we get through this, hopefully, we’ll have an opportunity to make sure that we do things so we can address going forward to try to reduce the size of these massive storms that Florida has suffered from so brutally.” And he said, “And so that will be a focus as we’re moving forward."

Crist added, “It’s going to take a lot of time to get through this because it’s touched almost every corner of the state, on its way now to the Atlantic and heading up to the Carolinas. The magnitude of this is hard to imagine, but this is what we’re facing. It’s not going to be weeks. It’s not going to be months. It’s going to be longer, and it’s going to take a relentless concerted effort by the federal, the state, local government, all hands on deck, and those who can help the private sector as well to do everything we can to not only pray for our Florida, but to do everything we can to help those affected throughout the southeastern United States."

These ‘climate change’ alarmists scream ‘climate change’ any time there is a storm, a flood or a forest fire. Crist thinks history started when he was 12. Apparently so do a great many other Democrats. And if we don’t rid ourselves of all the BS going on in our public schools and start teaching real history and real science what we’re going to end up with is generation after generation of complete imbeciles. This ‘global warming/climate change’ narrative has had the same effect as did the fake plandemic. It will reduce our population to nothing more than mind-numbed little robots, which is exactly what rabid leftwing Democrats, like Crist, want.

Unfortunately, government sponsored science has been compromised by a lack of integrity. Which is tragic, because much of what is produced is honest work that is important. But politics has now been allowed to infect the body by those scientists with an agenda, and a healthy amount of greed. It’s absolutely amazing that people who cannot define what a woman is, who that think men can get pregnant, who think there is no difference between men and women when playing sports, who believe you can change your gender on a whim and believe every evil in the world is caused by white supremacists are now ‘expert’ climatologists simply because they say so.

There is NO consensus in the scientific community. Furthermore, there’s an organized resistance, by those in the ‘fake news’ media and political hacks, to data and scientific evidence that refutes ALL of the supposed ‘models’ and the false unscientific climate claims from what a cadre of those who are nothing more that rabid left-wing ideologues. ‘Climate Change’ has become the Left’s religion. And dare I say that it’s rather naïve to expect politicians to first learn something about a subject before they open their mouths. Crist obviously knows nothing about hurricanes and his promise to reduce the size of hurricanes exposes his ignorance.

And so Crist misses yet another opportunity to sound like a real leader and not just another political hack. Oh well, you can’t sound like something you ain’t, and can’t help sounding like what you so very obviously are. And just as I suspected, Crist is a bigger idiot than even I originally thought. The strongest hurricane that has ever come ashore in Florida, since such data first began to be recorded, was in 1926, It had 180 mph winds, the pressure was 100 mb below Ian, and the population of Florida was 1.3 million people. This is not a global climate anything but simply another year in Florida and we had a hurricane strike a heavily populated area. Remember in November!!!

Yup, vote Democrat and succeed in changing the weather. Meanwhile pay no attention to the high gas prices, the highest inflation n 40 years, a southern border that essentially no longer exists, the lunacy of there being more than two sexes and so very much more of the insanity being perpetrated on by those on the left. What a great scam the Democrat have going, the weather always changes and so Democrat voters will think that they are doing a great job! Wake up people! If only Florida was a blue state, this hurricane would never have happened, right? Now send more of your hard earned money to Washington and help to stop all this manmade weather!

And so, we must address ‘climate change’ by spending trillions more dollars that we don’t have so Democrat Party special interest groups can get even more funding which they will turn around and use to donate right back the Democrat Party. It was every government on the planet that orchestrated idiotic lockdowns and unscientific measures in a feeble attempt to thwart the spread of COVID, and failed miserably. Now we have this moron, Crist, trying to tell us that if we pay more taxes the Democrats can control the Earth’s temperature and minimize the impact of storms. It’s insane! And it’s anyone who pushes such drivel that needs to be voted out!!!

And finally, as a Floridian for the last 24 years, I want to thank Charlie Crist for the many laughs he has provided to us over the years. Watching his desperation to avoid the real world and stay in politics for decades has been most amusing. The party switches, the multiple marriages, the begging a Democrat candidate to drop out so he could win, the garbage that has been coming out of his mouth in this last desperate campaign have all been very amusing. But enough is enough. The time has now come to away, Charlie. Thanks for the laughs but it’s time for you to go. We’ve all grown tired of the antics. Things have gotten far too serious to vote for the likes of you.

MIDTERM ELECTIONS LIKELY TO BE A PREDICTOR OF WHAT OUR FUTURE WILL BE!!!

It’s the upcoming midterm elections are going to be a very telling event as they will likely tell us much about the current mental state of the American people. Because it’s in 56 days that we will know pretty much exactly, just how ignorant, how gullible, how uninformed and yes, I’m afraid, just how many of them there are that still possess a love for this country. And unless there is a complete repudiation of everything the Democrats continue to stand for, and we have less a red wave than a red tsunami, I fear that this country can safely be said to be officially over.

And just one of the many examples of what is now taking place in the lead up to the elections is what we now see taking place here in Florida regarding the contest that will determine who will be the state’s next governor. On one side we have the state’s current, and very popular. Republican governor, Ron DeSantis. On the other side we have his opponent, the former Republican, former Independent and now Democrat Charlie Crist, perhaps the most desperate man in all of American politics. And it’s Crist who is doing all that he can to portray Gov. DeSantis as the Devil incarnate.

I think it’s everyone, except Crist, who recognizes DeSantis as being the guy who has made Florida the number one destination for all those folks fleeing Blue States all across the country. And yet, it’s Crist who is now telling anyone willing to listen that he’s the guy who can save Florida from what ails it, but as someone who lives in Florida, I’m not exactly sure what it is that I need to be saved from other than, of course, the continuing damage being done to my country by those like Crist himself. Crist’s decision to resort to such divisive rhetoric is not new to his campaign.

You see, a recently resurfaced video, taken by an attendee at a Crist campaign event in Pinellas back on March 17, showed Crist, who had yet to secure his primary victory, heaping praise on Ukraine President Zelensky while making a subtle comparison to himself. It was then that he said, “And you want to know what the colors are? Look that sign right there. You see the colors, the blue and the yellow. Does that remind you of any country, we’re fighting for freedom too.” And he called Zelensky “amazing” for the “courage and the strength and the decency that he shows."

And Crist continued by saying, “This is an election about decency, about being decent to one another, about being kind to everyone.” And he added, “It’s called a Florida for all.” Crist then called Gov. Ron DeSantis a “divider” and informed the crowd that “some” apparently call the governor “DeSatan.” He said, “We got a divider on the other side and the uniter over here. You know, some people call him DeSatan. Have you heard that? … I’m trying to be nice. DeSatan versus that?” He said, “The choice is crystal clear. There is no question about it. He’s bad. We’re good!"

Despite attempting to brand himself as being a uniter, as well as a savior, Crist has chosen to follow in the footsteps of Joey B, as he has continued to unleash all manner divisive, and exceedingly toxic, rhetoric and insulting millions of voters along the way. When he is not deeming DeSantis “the biggest threat to democracy we’ve seen since Trump,” he is insulting millions of Floridians. It was as recently as last month that Crist declared, “Those who support the governor should stay with him and vote for him, and I don’t want your vote!” Well, he hasn’t got to worry about that!

And he added, “If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there. I want the vote of the people of Florida who care about our state. Good Democrats. Good independents. Good Republicans. Unify with this ticket.” Crist praised Joey B for having the “courage” to demonize millions of Americans following the president’s angry anti-MAGA speech. He asked, “How many of you saw Joe Biden speak last night on national TV?” He continued, “And he’s told it straight. Democracy is at stake. And the President laid it out, and he couldn’t hold back and I’m so damn proud of him for it."

Those the least bit familiar with Crist understand that the only thing he is a savior of is, Charlie Crist. The corrosive rhetoric against DeSantis was to be expected, after all what else has this loser got. Democrats have nothing to run on except failure, so expect the mudslinging to get uglier still. Any politician who can so easily switch parties shows that they clearly have no core values and are in it for the grift. Sounds like our boy Charlie. Gotta love Charlie - the ultimate political bottom feeder. I’m no political expert, but I doubt that Crist is helping himself much with such comments.

Interesting echo chamber in which these Democrats live. DeSantis is immensely popular, which is a primary reason folks are moving to Florida from blue states. Crist knows he doesn’t stand a chance, which is probably why he’s spewing a never-ending stream of lies. The man has never accomplished anything of importance, including his one term as Republican governor of Florida. Many believe he is also bisexual, but that’s the least of my concerns. He’s nothing but a political joke, pure and simple, and the absurd comment about Governor DeSantis is more than ample proof.

We love our governor here, he has kept us all safe and free and kept the Marxist groomers off our children, kept CRT out of our schools, cleaned up the voting system and done many great things for us. Crist has no chance against DeSantis, and name-calling only makes him look small, if that’s possible. Frankly, I’m beginning to think that Crist is running his campaign as a form of satire mocking Democrats and he has no intention of even trying to win. His positions are gibberish and he’s smart enough to know it. I think he’s actually trying to hand the election to DeSantis.

Has anyone else noticed how there has not been one Democrat anywhere running any ads touting any specific achievement when it comes to improving the lives of working-class Americans? Most every ad I’ve seen is basically saying, “Vote Democrat because even though we’ve made your lives more expensive and more miserable, at least we’re not Republicans.” If you vote Democrat in November, and they are able to remain power, then you deserve all the misery and economic pain the Democrats will give you. And what will piss me off is the fact that you’ll be forcing me into the same boat as you.

CHARLIE CRIST…IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED, JUST LIE YOUR ASS OFF…

According to a new poll, Republican turned Independent turned Democrat Charlie Crist, candidate for governor here in Florida, seems to have pulled 3-points ahead of GOP Gov. Rick Scott, as ‘Independent’ voters, for whatever bizarre reason, appear to be throwing their weight behind him. I feel like I’m surrounded by idiots, because how stupid must one be in order for them to support a loser like Crist.

According to a Quinnipiac University Poll conducted Oct. 22-27 of 817 likely voters, 45 percent of those surveyed support Crist compared to 42 percent who support Scott. Among Independent voters though, 47 percent are backing Crist compared to 29 percent for Scott. Personally, I’ve always viewed Independents as being folks who just can’t bring themselves to admit the fact that they’re really Democrats.

Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said in a statement, "Independent voters are often the difference in swing states like Florida, but the size of former Gov. Charlie Crist's lead among them is truly remarkable." Obviously, these self-proclaimed, holier than thou, independents are some of most gullible folks that you’re ever going to meet. And how unfortunate for the rest of that our fate seems to be in their hands.

Brown added, "Crist, who always has sought to portray himself as a pragmatist rather than an ideologue, seems to have sold that message to independents who historically have favored problem-solvers who are less political." Crist is now, and always has been, nothing more than lying sack of shit. And the fact that anyone can bring themselves to vote for him, I suppose, tells us much more about them than it does Crist.

Crist, as you may or may not recall, served as governor as a Republican from 2007 to 2011. And his record is not something he likes to talk about all that much. He made a bid for U.S. Senate in 2010 instead of seeking re-election, but lost in the GOP primary to Sen. Marco Rubio before deciding to switch to becoming an independent for the general election, where he lost yet again. That alone should tell you something about Crist.

Shortly after his defeat, Crist then decided to take the only option left open to him and joined the Democrat Party after which he then went on to very enthusiastically support Barry's 2012 re-election bid. You’d think that the party switches might have demonstrated to most folks the fact that Crist is really nothing more than a sleazy political opportunist, but apparently not. And why more people can’t see this, quite frankly, amazes me.

You know, I just can’t believe that anyone, regardless of their political affiliation, or even lack of, would actually be so irresponsible as actually to vote for a sleazy character like Charlie Crist. But I’ll tell you what, people need to think long and hard about whether they’re really ready to go back to where it was that Crist took the state the last time he was in the governor’s mansion, because it certainly wasn’t very pretty!

CHARLIE CRIST…JUST ANOTHER SLEAZY OPPORTUNIST…

Well it would appear that Charlie Crist’s transition to the ‘Dark Side’ can now safely be said to be complete. He made that quite clear in a statement he made when asked a question regarding the raising of the minimum wage during what was the third and final gubernatorial debate here in Florida, just last night.

I think most reasonable people are quite able to recognize the fact that the Democrats’ continuing effort to make an issue of raising the minimum wage is really nothing more than an attempt to distract attention away from what are far more important issues. To make the claim that we have people trying to support a family of four on minimum wage, is simply untrue.

And it was Jake Tapper, of Communist News Network (CNN) fame, who was tapped to moderate the Jacksonville debate and in so doing he asked Charlie specifically what he would say to the Florida business owner who said that she would have to lay off one of her 17 employees if the minimum wage was raised.

"It's worth it," was Charlie's reply. Which I suppose is fine unless you happen to be the individual who would no longer have a job and for no other reason than so someone else could make more money doing the job that you used to do. This is nothing more than another example of what’s referred to as ‘Liberal Logic’.

Poll after poll shows that voters nationwide overwhelmingly say that jobs and the economy are their number one concern. At Tuesday night's debate, which was televised nationally, Charlie's comment was made in support of a policy that could cost the state as many as 50,000 jobs, according to The Miami Herald.

Under Rick Scott, unemployment here in Florida has dropped to 590,000, down from 1 million in January 2011, when he took office. Some 700,000 residents are working part time because they can't find full-time jobs or have dropped out of the labor force. So Charlie’s ok with nudging more folks onto the unemployment line, I guess.

Charlie, a Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat, supports raising the minimum wage to $10.10 saying. And he went on to say, "Well, the reason I think it is worth it because people deserve it," though some firms might have to lay workers off as a consequence. That’s such an idiotic thing to say, but it’s typical Charlie.

So who is it, I wonder, that Charlie might think ‘deserves’ to lose their job so that liberal scumbags like him can feel better about themselves? And why is it that it’s the employer who’s left to be the one to decide who it is that must be made to either look for another job or to become another government dependent?

Scott pointed out that Charlie was responsible for the loss of some 800,000 jobs during his tenure as governor. He also said Charlie's wealthy upbringing, of which I was unaware, put him out of touch with ordinary working Floridians. I guess I’m confused about what it is that so many folks find so appealing about Charlie.

Scott said, "I grew up with families that struggled. I don't know my natural father. I lived in public housing. I have an adopted dad." He went on to say, "I didn't grow up with money. You did. You grew up with plenty of money. Charlie, you lost more jobs than any state but one." And now he wants another chance to do the same thing again?

Charlie, of course, accepted none of the blame for the loss of jobs that occurred during his tenure, blaming it instead on the "economic meltdown" that had hit the country. Well, that’s pretty much the same lame excuse that we’ve been hearing from every other Democrat, that it’s always someone else’s fault. Why should Charlie be any different?

CHARLIE CRIST…THE PERFECT DEMOCRAT…

Well, as was expected Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist, everyone’s favorite sleazy opportunist, handily defeated his opponent, Nan Rich 74-26 in Florida's Democrat primary this past Tuesday. Out of the nearly 4.6 million registered Democrats here in the state of Florida, it was only 838,000 who saw this race as being important enough to show up to cast their ballots. Which, I suppose, may also be as an indication of how they truly feel about Crist.

Meanwhile over on the Republican side, the numbers there were a bit better, having more than 925,000, out of the 4.1 million registered Florida Republicans, who showed up to cast ballots for their favorite candidates. So I think we can safely see here that neither candidate is stirring much in the way of excitement within their respective parties. Or perhaps a majority of the people simply don’t see the significance of a primary election, leaving the rest of to select for them who it is that they will have to vote for come the general election.

At any rate, what we have in Charlie Crist is a pretty pathetic guy who has a rather long history of changing his position on this or that issue, especially if he thinks that doing so will provide to him some level of political benefit. And in so doing he has managed to completely reinvent his political views. With Crist, as is demonstrated by the man himself, there is no discernible substantive there, there. But that would seem to have mattered very little to most of the Democrats who turned out to vote for him this past Tuesday.

Crist has always proven himself to be very fluid when defining his position on any issue. On Obamacare, Crist said in 2010: "The Obama health-care bill was too big, too expensive, and expanded the role of government far too much. Had I been in the United States Senate at that time, I would have voted against the bill because of unacceptable provisions like the cuts to the Medicare Advantage program. Obamacare was off the charts, was wrong. It taxed too much, has mandates that are probably unconstitutional, and it’s not the way to go."

Pretty definitive sounding, right? Well, what a difference a few years will make, because here is what Crist says now about the very same Obamacare that he once saw as being too big and too expensive: "[Obamacare] is the right thing to do. Our country needed to do it. I’m glad he did it. I’m glad we have it, and it’ll continue to improve, I believe [in it]. . . .I won’t shy away from it. I think it’s the right thing to do. And I feel that in my heart." So which is it, Charlie? I think that’s a very fair question.

And these days Crist’s also seems to have what can be described as a rather warm place in his heart for voter fraud. But it wasn’t always so. Because you see, back in 2008, Charlie signed the "No Match, No Vote" law, which requires a would-be voter’s driver’s-license number or the last four digits of his Social Security number to match listings in the state database before he can cast a ballot. But today he sees thing a bit differently. Because now he finds that these sorts of efforts "make a mockery of the democracy we put on display every Election Day."

Now if Charlie can’t be consistent on such things as Obamacare and voter fraud, what are the chances that he has been consistent on something like gay marriage? Well, as it turns out absolutely none. In previous campaigns he pledged to "support a constitutional amendment that honors traditional marriage as an institution." In 2010, he said civil unions are "fine, but I support marriage between a man and a woman." However, now Crist, the Democrat, seems to a big supporter of same-sex marriage. Imagine that!

And it was in 2010 that Charlie vetoed a bill that would have required most women to pay for an ultrasound before seeking an abortion. But in 2006, he had pledged to sign a bill that only permitted abortions to save the life of the mother. And it was also in 2010 that Crist sought a special session of the state legislature to permanently ban oil drilling in state waters. But back in 2008 he had called for ending the federal ban on offshore drilling. So forgive me if I seem more than a bit confused here.

So the question is, or at least it should be, who is the real Charlie Crist? That’s really a pretty easy one. Charlie is a cynical, dishonest opportunist, a man with no principles and no core values who will say absolutely anything to advance his political career. And while the political practices of nearly all politicians can be said to be pretty far removed from anything that can be called ‘saintly’, they are a world apart from Crist’s. As Crist has said on any number occasions, it wasn’t he who changed, it was the Republican Party that changed.

But as Democrats made perfectly clear earlier this week on Election Day, they have absolutely no trouble with nominating someone like this transparent phony for public office. After all, it’s what Democrats do, why should they treat Charlie any differently? And in looking back at 2010 it’s pretty clear that the Republicans had a very different opinion of this guy. Hence the need for him to make the change to the Democrat Party. Crist has always been a pretty much down-the-line liberal attempting to pass himself off as something of a born-again conservative.

So when it comes down to most Democrats, I think we can all agree here that voting for someone the likes of Charlie Crist has never proven to be very much of a problem. Actually I think Democrats tend to prefer guys like him. For one reason, those who make up the core constituencies of their party are those who see no real need to work, so therefore they tend to vote for those politicians who are least likely to require that they do so. So it’s going to be left up to rest of us to make sure that this scumbag is not able to worm his way back into office.

CHARLIE CRIST…NOW A FULL-FLEDGED DEMOCRAT…

Well, I think we can safely say that Charlie Crist’s political transformation that has him joining the ranks of the Democrat Party would now appear to be complete. The final bit of proof that can be said to support that was provided by none other than Crist himself courtesy of a recent interview that he provided while appearing on "The Colbert Report." It was during this interview that the former Republican governor of Florida, who’s now running for that same position as a Democrat, was asked on "The Colbert Report" about his now rather infamous 2009 hug with Barry "Almighty".

And in answering the question, Crist responded in what was true Democrat fashion, and in what was really nothing more than an obviously transparent attempt on his part to score some cheap political points. Crist made the claim that the blowback he received for the hug was due to Barry being "not just a Democrat, [but] an African-American." The reason for Crist’s appearance the Comedy Central’s program was supposedly for him to discuss his book, "The Party’s Over." As the summary on Comedy Central states, Crist was there to explain "how the rise of the Tea Party drove him to become a Democrat."

Stevie Colbert, the show’s rather goofy host, quoted Crist’s book where he claims that his hug with Barry was a "simple gesture, ended my career as a viable Republican politician. It changed the rest of my life." Colbert then asked, "Why do you think it [the hug] ended it for you?" To which Charlie responded by saying, "Several reasons, I think. Number 1, he was there to talk about the Recovery Act, the stimulus. And a lot of Republicans took issue with that. Sadly, I think another part of it was that he was a Democrat, but not just a Democrat, an African-American."

To which Colbert responded by saying, "Oh, you’re not going to play the race card." Of course our old friend Charlie was quick to deny that that was what he was in fact doing, by saying, "I’m not going to play it, no." Colbert challenged Charlie a bit, saying, "You just did, you just did – would you like to pick it up again and put it in your pocket? Because you just played the race card." Crist laughed and said, "Yeah, you know, I’m just trying to tell the truth. I’ve seen a level of vitriol directed at this president that I have never seen directed at President Kennedy or maybe President Johnson or even President Carter."

Colbert then said, "All right. If, in the course of the campaign, you were approached by three men who were about to hug you: Josef Stalin, Darth Vader, or Barack Obama, you have to hug one of them, which would it be?" In answering the question Crist sounded absolutely silly. He said, "My president, no question." And then quickly added, apparently just for good measure, "I love him." Colbert asked, "That is – Barack Obama?" to which Crist nodded. Crist, who served as Florida’s governor from 2007 to 2011, is now running against incumbent Rick Scott (R-Fl.) for the position in 2014.

Anyone who view’s Crist as being anything other than a political opportunist of the worst kind, is a complete moron. I think we can all agree on the fact that Crist is nothing but an opportunist who has demonstrated on more than one occasion that he has a difficult time with telling the truth. He’s nothing more than another liberal hack out to do his best in trying to gain some mileage out of attacking the Tea Party, which had absolutely nothing to do with why this lying-sack-of-shit changed his party affiliation. He made the move because it became painfully obvious to a majority of folks that he simply wasn’t the conservative he claimed to be.

CHARLIE CRIST PONDERS A RETURN TO FLORIDA'S GOVERNOR'S MANSION...

So I guess the question that seems to be on nearly everyone's mind these days is whether or not former Florida governor Charlie Crist will venture back into the political game. Personally, I'd like nothing more to do with him. But hey, that's just me. Crist, as I'm sure you'll all remember, seemed to come to the conclusion that political fortunes may improved for him if he were to, so to speak, come clean about his really being the Democrat that we always knew he was, on the inside. "Well I’m thinking about it, there’s no question about that," said Crist who added he hasn’t made the big decision yet. Personally, I'm not that big of a fan of Crist's.

Crist, as you may or may not remembers, served as Florida's Republican governor back in 2007. He decided not to seek re-election to that office, instead setting his sights a little higher, the U. S. Senate and competed in the 2010 election, claiming to be the only conservative in the race. But I guess he forgot to tell that to Marco Rubio, who now sits in Washington will Crist ponders a return to the governor's mansion. Crist's announced in 2009 that he would not run for re-election and would instead run for the Senate. This time around, if he does choose to run, it would be as a Democrat running against current Republican governor, Rick Scott.

Although there is apparently no specific timetable for when Crist might a make his final decision, the window, as they say, is said to still be very wide open. "I haven’t reached any conclusion, I’m just taking the opportunity to listen to my fellow Floridians and give it serious thought," said Crist in Fort Myers on Saturday. So what would be Crist’s focus if he does choose to join the race? Well in response to just such a question, Crist responded, "Things that I think are important to all of our fellow Floridians: education, the environment, ethics; I mean these are things that aren’t new." With all that's going on in Washington, I think the last thing we need here in Florida is Charlie Crist!

Personally, I find the fact that Crist talks about ethics as being one of the main concerns of his fellow Floridians, particularly humorous. Because back when he was running for the Senate he used pretty much every smear tactic in the book in his going after Rubio, luckily, none of which worked. Crist went on to also say, "Talking about how we can help our economy move forward, fortunately we’re starting to see that in a small degree and I just hope it continues." Crist said that his decision would also be based on the mood of the people and how they feel. Somehow, I'm just not buying the whole "it's up to the people" thing coming from Charlie.

These days I guess Charlie's keeping himself busy by working for one of Florida's, too many to count, slip and fall lawyers, specifically, the firm of Morgan and Morgan. "I’ve enjoyed being in the private sector, working with Morgan & Morgan is a lot of fun and helping people that way," said Crist. "So time will tell, we’ll see." Right, he claims he's having lots of fun "helping people" as he does his best to continue to drive up the costs of both auto and health insurance courtesy of perpetuating all manner of frivolous lawsuits. What a guy! A Democrat, especially one that used to be a Republican, is not what Florida needs at this particular moment in time.
