Ya know, I don’t think there is a scumbag Democrat
politician alive who wouldn’t even lie to their mother if they thought it would
gain for them a few votes. And yet
another sterling example of what it mean to be a Democrat was recently put on
display by Rep. Henry Cuellar, a scumbag Democrat from Texas. You see, it seems
that old Hank made the comment to C-SPAN’s "Washington Journal", just this past
Thursday, that the U.S.-Mexico border is safer than the nation’s capital. To me that would seem to be a statement that
says much more about how dangerous D.C. might be, than it does about how safe
the border actually is.
Anyway, Hank said, “The border is safer than
Washington, D.C. The murder rate here might be three to four murders per
100,000. Where you and I work in Washington, D.C., I believe it’s 15.9 murders
per 100,000, so it’s a lot safer here than where we work in Washington,
D.C.” And he went onto say, “So they
have this perception – people that run for national office, some people that
run for state office – always paint the border as the flashpoint, and that’s
what they use as a punching bag, but if you look at this border, it’s safe, and
it certainly creates a lot of jobs for – not only for us here, but across the
nation,” Cuellar added.
Now while I really do hate to call old Hank a liar,
(NOT) it would seem that what he’s claiming here doesn’t exactly jibe with the
data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). So to say the least it would seem that old
Hank is being a little less than truthful regarding his idiotic claim. Because, again according to the FBI, there
were only 105 murders and non-negligent manslaughter in Washington, D.C., at a
rate of 15.9 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2014 – the latest year of available
data. Now, and as I would hope that Hank
is fully aware, it’s Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico are the states
that lie on the U.S.-Mexico border.
And the sad truth is that In Texas, there were 1,184
murders at a rate of 4.4 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2014. In Arizona that same year, there were 319
murders at a rate of 4.7 per 100,000 inhabitants. In California, there were
1,699 murders at a rate of 4.4 per 100,000 inhabitants, and in New Mexico,
there were 101 murders at a rate of 4.8 per 100,000 inhabitants. Now it would seem to me that old Hank is either
shooting from the hip, here, without doing any actual research before opening
his big pie hole, or he’s simply lying, not really caring whether what he says
is true or not. Let’s face it, Hank is
obviously nothing more than another America-hating Democrat.
And so I would like to offer up a little challenge
to old Hank, an opportunity, of sorts, for him to prove me wrong. If he truly does think that it’s so safe down
there on our southern border then how about he pony up and get his stupid,
progressive ass down there WITHOUT his, what I’m quite sure is a very heavily
armed, security detail in tow. Let’s see
if he’s got the cojones to walk around a bit just like we normal citizens are
expected to do, or maybe, if it’s so safe down there, he could even spend the
night. But I'd be willing to bet my home that, as is usually the case with
these loudmouth leftwing kooks, he doesn't have the guts to back up his very
big mouth.
But maybe what Hank really meant to say is that it's
"safer" for illegals at the border than it is for U.S. citizens in
DC, where legal gun ownership is constantly under attack. For some reason, progressives like old Hank
thinks that illegal activity needs to be protected from law enforcement, and apparently
has no problem whatsoever with the fact that our border patrol agents actually
get in trouble if they do their sworn job!
Does that make any sense to anyone other than a leftwing nutjob like old
Hank? I didn’t think so! But hey, when you’re talking about lying,
scumbag Democrats it doesn’t have to make sense, they’re on a mission to
destroy the country.
