As the Democrats continue to gin up a reason, after
reason, for why it was that their ‘perfect’ candidate was defeated by Donald
Trump, they continue to be consumed by what can only be described as some sort
of a collective mental breakdown.
Because they simply refuse to accept the fact that she lost had much
less to do with the victor than it did with their loser. And for whatever reason, they refuse to see
Hitlery as being the most seriously flawed candidate in modern election
history. She was, without a doubt, the
most dishonest and the most corrupt candidate to have ever sought the office of
president in my lifetime. And her
campaign seemed to be based on nothing more than that it was simply, her turn. Her turn?
Is that how we are now to determine who it is that will be our president?
And as evidence that the Democrats are willing to
grasp onto any straw possible in their quest to somehow justify Hitlery’s
rather embarrassing loss, the Democrats have now latched onto what they, and
their many allies in the state-controlled media complex, think is the smoking
gun when it comes to any potential collusion between the Trump campaign and
those evil Russians. That being, of
course, that Jeff Sessions, who was then a sitting U.S. Senator, and now our
Attorney General, had some meetings with the Russian Ambassador, and then chose
to lie about it. What we’re supposed to
believe here is that something clandestine and/or nefarious took place that
could possibly help the Democrats come up with an explanation for how someone
like Trump was able to beat someone as ‘qualified’ as Hitlery.
And it is the latest example of what has become a
continuing, and somewhat bizarre, ‘saga’ that comes to us courtesy of Democrat
Rep. Keith Ellison, who, believe it or not, is now the new deputy chairman of
the Democrat National Committee. And
it’s Ellison who makes it all very clear when it comes to just how far gone the
Democrat Party has now become. You see,
it was just this past Thursday that Ellison became the first to go so far as to
suggest that Attorney General Jeff Sessions actually deserves jail time for
failing to mention his meetings with Russia’s ambassador during his
confirmation hearing in January. And in
a statement issued Thursday morning, Ellison asserted that Sessions “lied under
oath” in his January 10 Senate confirmation hearing about the meetings with
Kremlin’s diplomat, Sergey Kislyak.
Ellison said, “Since it has now come to light that
Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath about meeting with Russian
officials during the campaign, we must be entirely clear on one thing: perjury
is a felony and may be punishable by prison for up to five years.” I guess I’d be curious to know how it is that
these politicians, which you have to assume are reasonably intelligent people,
have now allowed themselves to become so completely unglued over the results of
a single election. They, and their many
minions in the press have spent what has been I’m not sure how many years
convincing themselves that because of all her supposed qualifications there was
simply no way that Hitlery Clinton would not become the next president. And especially after the Republicans nominated
Trump. And yet she lost.
So in getting back to Sessions, it was on Thursday
of this week that he announced he that will be recusing himself from any
Justice Department and FBI investigations involving activities of the Donald
Trump presidential campaign, on which he had served as an adviser. Because on Wednesday it was revealed that
last year, when Sessions was still serving as a senator, he had two encounters
with Kislyak. One meeting occurred on
September 8 in Sessions’ Senate office.
The other was on the sidelines of an event hosted by the Heritage
Foundation in July. Numerous other
ambassadors were also in attendance.
Personally, I just don’t see the need for him to recuse himself, as I
doubt that it will satisfy the Democrats anyway. But, if he feels that it’s right thing to do,
then who am I to criticize?
All of this craziness started because of how
Sessions chose to respond to a question during his confirmation testimony. It was a very long and convoluted question that
came from his then-colleague, Al ‘Stuart Smalley’ Franken, about whether or not
Sessions had had any contacts with Russian government officials during the
presidential campaign. Franken framed
the question by citing a breaking story from the Communist News Network (CNN)
that some Trump campaign advisers may have had contacts with Russian
operatives. Sessions answered saying
that, as a Trump “surrogate,” he did not have any such contacts. However, it was this past Thursday that we
heard several Democrats insisting that Sessions had lied by denying having
contacts with Russian officials.
And while some have called for Sessions’ recusal, others,
the more fanatical of the party, have since gone so far as to actually demand
his resignation. It should come as a
surprise to no one that this leftwing loon, Ellison, was the first one to
mention the prospect of a prison stint.
Sessions said in his statement that he did nothing wrong and did not
purposely misled his colleagues. He
pointed out that Franken’s question was framed in terms of any meetings in his
capacity on the campaign. He said that
as a senator and member of the Armed Services Committee he routinely met with
foreign diplomats. In a press conference
on Thursday afternoon he said that he met with Ukraine’s ambassador the day
before he met with Kislyak. Any ‘reasonable’
person would see that there is no there, there.
But not the Democrats!
And really, jail time for Sessions? Really?
It's no wonder the Democrats are in such complete disarray and,
apparently, destined to remain so for some time, especially if Ellison is an example
of Democrat leadership. So Ellison wants
Sessions to go to prison for doing his job? I can’t wait to see what racist garbage these
two idiots who are now in charge of running the DNC will come up with at
election time. They will likely succeed
in driving what few middle of the road Democrat voters that may still remain
from the party entirely. It’s kind of
amazing what desperation will drive some people to do. I mean, wouldn’t you think that they would
want to put the humiliating defeat of Hitlery Clinton as far behind them as
they could and as quickly as possible?
And yet they seem bizarrely fixated on doing just the opposite.
After a year of calling everyone and everything
racist, the Democrats finally found a real one. He is the new Deputy Chairman of the DNC,
Keith Ellison. Mr. Ellison is best known
for his work in the Nation of Islam with ‘Calypso Louie’ Farrakhan. The Nation
of Islam is noted for its black supremacist and anti-Semitic platform. He is also known for being the first Moslem
elected to Congress. The Democrats appear to be on a self-imposed mission to
destroy themselves. They are pursuing an
obvious Socialist agenda which does not have wide appeal in the U.S. Their choice of candidates, as exemplified by
recently fielding Hitlery Clinton, one of the two most hated people ever to run
for public office was doomed from the beginning. And today, the Democrat "bench",
like the Democrat gene pool, remains pretty shallow.
And it may be sooner rather than later that we will
see all but the most insanely demented Democrats coming to the realization that
the Democrat Party is simply no longer a party that they can continue to
support. And while I suspect very few
would be able to bring themselves to vote for Republicans, it’s likely that
many could, however, find the Libertarian Party more appealing and as being an
acceptable alternative. After all,
Libertarians favor legalizing pot, removing those restrictions resulting in
high drug prices and slow drug approval times, avoiding senseless wars, favor
open borders, plus being pro-choice and very much LGBT friendly. People need to become involved with whatever
party reflects your values. And I think
it’s fair to say that todays’s Democrat Party has become value-less.
Because the insanity being exhibited by the Democrat
Party now seems to be in full swing.
These swamp denizens tend to panic when the water level starts dropping
and they're pulled toward the swirl over the drain. I have no emotional attachment to any of
these people. As a colluded pack of reprobates, carpetbagger Democrats and RINO
across the aisle have been building their own power and bank accounts for
decades. The election of President
Trump, his trashing the status quo, the revelation of our state-controlled
media as nothing more than a propaganda entity, etc. combine to make for a
certain level on entertainment. And if a
few conservative judges are appointed to the SCOTUS during the carnage, I'll be
very happy. But the left will not go
quietly into the night, they continue to prove that every day.
And I would very much like to think that the American
people, or at least most of them, are intelligent enough to be able to see this
‘circus’ for what is. A political party
that now seems to be in full self-destruct mode and desperate to demonstrate
that they still possess some level of power.
And it’s kinda funny really, because the current predicament in which
the Democrats now find themselves is essentially of their own making. After all, they were the ones who stuck with
Barry in his effort to “fundamentally transform” this country, they were the ones
to stuck with him as they watched over 1000 legislative seats, a significant
number of governorship, along with first the U.S. House, then the Senate, and
then finally the White House as well, all slip from their control and into
Republican hands. This is all their own
fault!
