Let me start out by saying that the life expectancy of the Republican Party, at least as it currently exists, is fading very fast. And if all those involved in the upper echelons of party hierarchy think they will be able to alter that in any meaningful way by their continuing to attack Donald Trump and therefore alienating his 75 Million supporters, not only are the sadly mistaken, but they are also dead wrong! Because like it or not, Donald Trump IS now the party. But there are still those who stubbornly insist upon doing that very thing. Which I find to be more than little dumbfounding.
Take for instance ex-senator, and that well-known
and washed up RINO from Arizona, Jeff Flake. Flake has become quite a regular
on the Communist News Network, aka CNN, and it was as recently as this past
Monday that he made yet another of his many routine appearances, this time on CNN’s
“Newsroom.” This time he was there to rant about how it is, in his humble
opinion, that the Republican Party has no future if it chooses to continue to follow
what he described as “Trumpism.” Seriously? You see, it’s according to this
flake, Flake that, “It is a demographic cul-de-sac.”
So as if anyone cared, Flake said, “I think most
people, most elected officials, nearly all of them recognize that, but they
deal with the reality right now if they cross the president, they’ll get a
primary. I think that is waning quickly. I think the president will fade away a
lot faster than he wants to, but that is been the reality.” He added, “There is
no future with Trumpism. There is no coherent governing philosophy.” “No
coherent governing philosophy? It’s more of an attitude than a philosophy.” You
know, there’s a reason why this guy continues to show up nowhere but on CNN.
And it was in concluding his idiotic little rant
that Flake went on to say, “And in just look, since President Trump was
elected, we lost the House, we’ve lost the Senate, we lost the White House, and
in the midterms, we lost more than 400 legislative seats nationwide. I don’t
know how much more winning we could stand as a Republican Party. So we’ve got
to go a different direction.” If those in the party insist upon going in the
direction that Flake seems to be recommending that it should, then there is no
way that the party will survive even as long as the 2022 elections. No way at
all!
&Now I must admit that I am a bit confused here.
If we are to believe Flake is the conservative that he so very loudly professes
himself to be, what part, or parts, of President Trump’s agenda is it that he
disagreed with? Putting America first, was that a bad policy to Flake?
Controlling our borders, did Flake instead agree with open borders and amnesty?
Withdrawal from foreign wars? Is Flake one of those who backed war in Syria and
endless war in Afghanistan? All these things are bedrock to the Republican Party
and were, and are still, supported by the majority of the nation.
And does Flake support the actions that ‘Creepy Joe’
has thus far taken in just the first few days of his being president? Is he in
favor of shutting down the XL pipeline, causing gas prices to spike 12 to 15
cents? Does he support opening girls’ sports to the transgendered that
represent a miniscule percentage of the population, and bringing the bathroom
issue back to life? Is he in favor of suspending all deportations even for
violent criminals? Flake can waive around the “Trumpism” banner in his effort to
gain attention of Democrats’ but even they aren’t going to waste time voting
for him.
And riddle me this, just what was it that the ‘Republicans’
in the House and Senate did during the entire first two years of the Trump
presidency? Absolutely nothing. And what was it that they COULD HAVE done? Well
for starters, EVERYTHING that they had promised us they would do if they were
ever given control of the House, the Senate AND the White House. And this is
what Flake thinks is the RIGHT direction for the Republican Party? Perhaps does
anyone remember Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and how it was that he did
nothing to advance the President’s conservative agenda?
In 2016, because of Donald Trump, Republicans held
the White House and both houses of Congress. Also, it was 40 some RINOs who
chose to retire after the 2016 election virtually guaranteeing that the
Democrats would regain the House. During the time Republicans held both houses,
they did nothing to support President Trump nor much to defend him against the BS
Russian Hoax. They are today, just as they were then, a bunch of backstabbing cowards
and they own the losses in 2020, not President Trump. They chose not to support
the best President in my lifetime, it was their fault.
So Flake, and the very many of those just like him,
are really doing themselves no favors in their continuing effort to blame
Donald Trump instead of the many backstabbing liars who are still sitting in
Congress making all manner of deals with Democrats that accomplish virtually
nothing for the American people. And I find it all rather bizarre, as well as
pretty pointless, that he actually thinks that the American people could be
persuaded to abandon Donald Trump, especially in favor of losers such as
himself. Donald Trump loves America, RINOs and Democrats DO NOT!
Flake is clueless. ‘Trumpism’ is nothing new, other
than what people like him choose to call it. And to be honest it was once upon a
time that it was the platform every Republican and Democrat ran on. Every
President ran on making life better for ‘Americans.’ Economically, they
differed on whether to use socialism or free markets to reach this goal, but
the platforms were always about making American’s lives better, but not anymore.
President Trump ran on making life better for Americans, Democrats did not only
argue about the methods, but disagreed with the goal.
