When it comes to our Constitution, Democrats have always had a rather bizarre interpretation of it and what rights were actually granted to the American people. Democrats have long viewed the most important of our founding documents as being fluid, which it most certainly is not. And Democrats have also long had the peculiar ability to see things that exist nowhere in it while at the same time refusing to acknowledge those things that, for most of us, are stated very clearly. And despite their best efforts to take advantage of any supposed gray areas, those who possess any knowledge of the document know that no gray areas actually exist.
I doubt
many Democrats have actually read our Constitution. And we saw another example
of that this past Sunday. It was then, during an appearance on CNN’s “State of
the Union,” that Gov. Wes Moore, one of this country’s less competent
governors, accused President Trump is using the Constitution like a “suggestion
box.” Look, clearly Moore, like every other Democrat, has no clue of what the
Constitution says or means. He demonstrates that every time he opens his mouth,
as does every other Democrat and member of the ‘fake news’ media. All that
Moore is actually doing is to describe how he and most other members of his
party view our Constitution.
Anchor,
and dim bulb, Dana Bash said, “I do want to ask about the president’s ban of
three news organizations to the White House including CNN, and what your
response is?” Moore said, “Well, the president seems to have a real problem
with the Constitution, whether it is the freedom of the press, whether it is
voting rights, whether it is state rights, you know, things that are very
clearly laid out. And again, not even just clearly laid out, that at the
founding of this nation that the Founding Fathers of this country found it to
be so important that they made things like the freedom of the press and free
speech and freedom of assembly part of the First Amendment."
This
hapless dolt then went on to say, “The first thing they wanted to get done in
this country. And so, the president continues to use the Constitution like it
is a suggestion box, simply because he does not like the coverage. And so, I
would just hope that this administration would spend a little bit of time
reading instead of just talking.” This coming from a member of the party that
states our Constitution is “outdated” and needs replacing by them. Perhaps our supposed
‘journalist,’ Ms. Bash, might have asked Moore where in the Constitution does
it require a President to allow an obnoxious reporter free access to his
residence and place of business.
Right, so
says the guy who ignores the First, Second, Fourth, Ninth, and Tenth
Amendments, and probably hates the whole rest of our most important document.
The guy who wants to ignore over 100 years of tradition and pack the Supreme
Court with four more ultra-leftist activist justices. Yeah, everybody knows Moore
is a champion of the Constitution. Democrats have been trampling on the
Constitution for as long as I can remember. And now we’re supposed to believe
that they’re suddenly it’s great defender. Literally laughable. When a Democrat
can prove to me that they’ve actually read the document, I’ll take them
seriously. But until then...
One of
those things that reflects Democrat ignorance of our Constitution is how over
the past few decades they’ve expended so much time and effort on trying to
limit the right of Americans to defend themselves. But the words are clear,
“shall not be infringed.” And yet Democrats seek to weaken the Second Amendment
at every turn. Bans on so-called “assault weapons,” an utterly meaningless
term, are the Democrat Constitutional violations du jour. They clearly violate
the Constitution, but they do it anyway because they’re playing the long game. Democrats
are nothing if not persistent and so I have no doubt that there will come day
when they get their way.
And what
of their oaths as elected officials, to support our Constitution? They will
claim they had a good faith belief that their attempt to ban these weapons is constitutional.
Of course, that’s utter nonsense. We know it and they know it. What about the
words “shall not be infringed” do they find confusing? So, to hear this imbecile
Moore drone on about how it’s Republicans who are somehow violating the
Constitution is both laughable and pathetic. And insulting because any
statement from a member of the party that chooses to ignore the Constitution because
they don’t like what it says assumes that everyone who chooses to believe in it
is a moron.
So,
riddle me this, where in the Constitution does it say that presidents must
grant any and all news organizations White House access? If Moore could read,
he would plainly see that there is nothing in the Constitution that says members
of the press should have access to the White House in order to harass the
President. And how has not talking to various ‘fake news’ media outlets
prevented them from saying whatever they wish? Clearly, it hasn’t. Just imagine
how great this country could have been if we had only black leadership. We’d be
just like Africa, living in mud huts, drinking out of polluted rivers, digging
roots for food and begging the U.S. for money.
Democrats
hate the Constitution as it places limits on their ability to install a
totalitarian socialist dictatorship here at home. Make no mistake, the
Democrats are the ones openly calling to abolish the Constitution, the
presidency, the Supreme Court, and the Senate, and condone violence against conservatives.
The Democrats opened the border to between 20 to 30 million illegal immigrants
in just four years. No one voted for it. No court allowed it. Neither chamber
of Congress said a word. In other words, Democrats committed outright treason,
facilitated an invasion and those like this clown Moore did or said a thing. This
is the pot calling the kettle black.
And finally, all presidents
push the limits of executive power, and the Supreme Court pushes them back, just
as they have President Trump. But the only ones I’ve heard of who have actually
defied, or attempted to defy, the Court were Democrats. FDR tried to stack the Court,
and Joey B publicly tried to do it with student loan cancellations. ‘BO’ once
said the Constitution was a collection of “negative liberties.” That’s lib
speak for “we don’t like the Constitution because it restrains the government.”
Democrats believe in a “living Constitution,” one that evolves and changes with
current trends. Democrats have proven they can ignore the Constitution.
