ON IMMIGRATION, WHOSE VOICES WILL BE LISTENED TO???

Ok folks, so here’s the $64,000 Question: When it comes to immigration ‘reform’, who is it that the House Republicans will be listening to? Will it be those like Chuckie Schumer, or will it be those who voted them into office voice? Because according to a recent Gallup poll, more Americans think immigration should be decreased rather than increased, by a nearly two-to-one margin, 41 percent to 22 percent. And a third of American adults, or 33 percent, are quite satisfied with the present immigration level.

And if we choose to break things down by party, we would see that those who identify themselves as Republican came in at 50 percent and those who called themselves Independents were at 43 percent. Both were much more inclined to decrease immigration than, of course, were Democrats who came in at only 32 percent. Democrats are more inclined to keep immigration at its current level, with 37 percent of them choosing that option, compared with 34 percent of Republicans and 30 percent of Independents.

And it was only 14 percent of Republicans, 23 percent of independents, and 27 percent of Democrats who said that they would actually be in favor of increasing immigration. But Gallup does make note of the fact that over time, there has been a steady increase in overall public support for increasing immigration, rising from 10 percent in 1999 to 22 percent today. Still, we’re a long way from there being what could safely be considered to be a majority of Americans in favor of actually increasing immigration.

Support for increasing immigration has grown more among Americans with college degrees, those said to be more aware of the apparent need for importing highly skilled workers, than among those with less formal education. So apparently us folks without a college degree are a little brighter than those with one. Because with there being over 90 million fewer Americans in the workforce now than there was when Barry took over, I’d say there’s no need to import any workers, skilled or otherwise.

And in response to another question, "On the whole, do you think immigration is a good thing or a bad thing for this country today?", 63 percent of those surveyed called it a good thing which is down from the high of 72 percent in 2013. But 33 percent called it a "bad thing," up from 25 percent in 2013. I’m with those Americans who view immigration as being a positive thing for our country. But we must decide how best to determine how many new immigrants to welcome each year, particularly when unemployment remains so high.

So I think it’s pretty clear where the American people stand on the issue of immigration. So what remains to be seen here is whether or not any action that may come on this very important issue, is simply based on politics or on the actual will of the people. And for some reason, while most of us out here beyond the beltway are able to see through the idiotic rants of Schumer, those inside the beltway seem to take them far more seriously than they should be. Because unless old Chuckie is now able to channel Nostradamus, he’s just talking out his ass.

‘DINGY’ HARRY USES 'CLIMATE CHANGE' TO RIP HOUSE GOP...

So I ask you, with nary a hurricane in sight, what’s a poor ‘climate change’ believing Democrat to do when trying to badger the opposition? Well, apparently, if you're 'Dingy' Harry Reid, you go looking for the next best thing to blame on 'climate change.' And in this case, if you’re ‘Dingy’ Harry, that would be the massive destruction caused by flooding in parts of Colorado. You see it was while on the Senate floor Tuesday morning that 'Dingy' proceeded to slam House Republicans for partisanship and wasting the "taxpayer's time" trying to repeal ObamaCare. Personally, I prefer having a little more time be wasted than anymore of my money. And I always find it being a little hypocritical when Democrats accuse the Republicans of being partisan.

Anyway, ‘Dingy Harry’ listed numerous issues that Congress should be focusing its efforts on during session this year and lamented the fact that the House Republicans have simply refused to get on board with Barry's domestic agenda. As if he somehow considers it as being a no-brainer. 'Dingy' said, "ObamaCare is the law of the land. It's time for Republican's to mature," adding, "to grow up ... It's time for Republicans to stop denying reality." So I guess, according to 'Dingy', we’re all just supposed to ignore completely how this law will adversely effect the lives of every single American, except for those in Congress, and the disgraceful manner that this law was brought into being, and simply surrender to it? Sorry, I am firmly behind any effort to get rid of it.

And then after suggesting that Congress could be better using it's time on addressing issues that have to do with such things as the nation's infrastructure, ‘Dingy’ changed quickly gears and focused on the issue that remains so important to Democrats, "climate change." In choosing to ignore completely all of the evidence to the contrary, 'Dingy' boldly declared that, "Climate change is here." He went on to decry the fact, "We're doing nothing about it." ‘Dingy’ also suggested that Congress should "try passing immigration reform" before going on to actually list what he comically referred to as being the economic benefits of ObamaCare. Now there's a laugh, economic benefits of Obamacare. Is that not an oxymoron?

But 'Dingy' then returned to the topic of 'climate change', saying, "We should be facing the reality of climate change. Look what happened in Colorado. I talked to Senator Bennet yesterday, he said the floods were "biblical." In one part of Colorado, it rained 12 inches in two hours. I can't imagine that." Wow, you know 'Dingy's' got to be really worried about all of this 'climate change' nonsense, especially when he starts throwing around the 'B' word, even if it's kinda by proxy? But hey, I'm sure 'Dingy' views it as being one of those instances where desperate times call for desperate measures, especially as Democrats try to wreak as much economic havoc as possible while, in the process, identifying the Republicans as being the cause.

But old 'Dingy' wasn't finished just yet, not by a long shot, as he then proceeded to lay it on even thicker saying, "Fires all over the West, climate change is here. I met with the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh. They don't know what they're going to do with the rise of the sea, which is taking place. That country has no place -- no high ground. It's that way all over the world. Martial Islands -- 1,000 islands make up the Martial Islands. Fifty-five thousand people live there. These islands are being washed away with these new waves they've never seen before." yup, quite the work of fiction that we heard presented by old 'Dingy' Harry. But then this is typical behavior for scumbags like 'Dingy', always sounding the alarm for no real emergency.

'Dingy' reiterated again in his effort to chastise the Republicans, "Climate change is here. We're doing nothing about it. They're spending all our time, the American taxpayer's time, trying to repeal a law that's been in effect for four years." Well I would argue that just because it has been effect for four years, doesn't make it undeserving of being gotten rid of. Now granted, I'm sure 'Dingy' has no problem with it since he no longer has to abide by it, but the vast majority of those of us who do, would just as soon see it go the way of the do-do. It's going to be far too costly and it's going to result in people losing their jobs. Don't forget, this thing wasn't created to 'fix' anything, it was created for the sole purpose of allowing the government control of your healthcare.

'DINGY HARRY' REID SOUNDS THE ALARM, “ANARCHISTS HAVE SEIZED CONTROL OF CONGRESS!”

I have long been curious about how it is that old 'Dingy Harry' Reid has been able to so successfully elude those men in white coats for as long as he has. Because I would think it obvious that there is, sitting somewhere in one of our many fine psychiatric institutions in this country, a rubber room that is missing its occupant. And with 'Dingy' having made it quite obvious, earlier this week, that he could, in fact, be that very missing occupant, when he went so far as to actually imply that "anarchists" have now seized over of Congress, I just thought I'd bring it to someone's attention.

Now, if perhaps he had been, at the time, making a reference to how it is that he and his fellow Democrats have continued to run rough shod over Congress for some time now, completely ignoring the confines clearly laid out in the Constitution regarding how Congress is to operate, then I would say that, yes, he might be onto something. But that's not exactly where 'Dingy' was going when he made his rather incendiary claim. What he was talking about was those dastardly Tea Party folks. But then, since when can wishing for a more faithful adherence to the Constitution be described as anarchy?

Now you would think what's really behind old 'Dingy Harry's' toxic little rant would be transparent to anyone with more than one functioning brain cell. Because what's really got Harry's panties in a bunch is the fact that our Tea Party Republicans are attempting to prevent progress on what is a very bogus energy efficiency bill by offering up amendments on ObamaCare, as well as a few other issues. Personally, I'm all for it. So what's really going on here sounds to me to be more like whining on the part of Harry than it does about warning us about possible anarchy coming from the opposition.

Anyway, in trying to make his rather pathetic little point, Harry proceeded to complain from the Senate floor, with him spewing is typical brand of BS. He said, "We’re diverted totally from what this bill is about. Why? Because the anarchists have taken over." And in not being quite finished in trying make, what I'm sure he thought was a valid point, he proceeded to make the claim, "They’ve taken over the House and now they’ve taken over the Senate." And in further whining, he said, "People who don’t believe in government, and that’s what the Tea Party is all about, are winning, and that’s a shame."

On Wednesday, Sen. David Vitter, who is a Republican and is said to reside in the Tea Party camp, said that he would work to prevent votes on lawmakers' amendments to the proposed energy bill until he's assured that he'll get a vote on his own amendment, which would require some congressional and executive branch staff to enroll in the ObamaCare health exchanges. And of course, as expected, Harry opined, "It’s defund ObamaCare, and I guess as the fiscal year comes to an end that’s what it’s all about." Actually me thinks he does protest too much. If in the same position Harry would do the same thing.

And then we had Senate Minority Leader Mitch "The Gutless Coward" McConnell who also introduced an ObamaCare-related amendment that would delay the individual health insurance mandate for one year, and codify the Obama administration's one-year delay of requirements that employers provide insurance. "Let’s delay ObamaCare mandates for families right now," McConnell said. "Then let’s work together to repeal the bill." Sorry, but I have a very difficult time believing that McConnell is very serious when come to his threatening to repeal Obamacare.

All that Harry has done here by choosing to make such an idiotic claim, is to make it abundantly clear to just about everyone, that he is either completely ignorant regarding what brought the Tea Party into being, and what it continues to be all about, or worse, he does recognize what motivates those who affiliate with the Tea Party, and therefore feels compelled to expend every effort to portray them as being nothing more than extremists, or anarchists, who oppose any and all forms of government. So I think we now safely know what it is that he's up to. The question is, will it work?

'DINGY HARRY' REID SAYS WE ARE JUST NOT SPENDING ENOUGH!!!

Well, apparently that senile old sack of horse shit, 'Dingy Harry' Reid, thinks that he knows exactly what, and who, is to blame for our nation's lackluster to piss poor economic growth, and oddly enough it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with rabid amount of wasteful spending that has been underway, and nearly nonstop, for the last 4 yours. On the contrary, says old 'Dingy Harry', it's all because of Republican ‘austerity policies’. Yup, it's those cheapskate Republicans who are to blame.

So despite the fact that our government has been busy wasting literally Trillions of dollars to, we're told, 'stimulate' our economy, 11.8 million Americans are still without jobs and the nation’s overall unemployment rate has, remained at, or above, 7.5 percent for 54 consecutive months. And that's according to Barry's own Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). So I guess I'm wondering, just how much 'MORE' money, that we don't have, does 'Dingy' think we ought to be spending?

Because, you see, again according to old 'Dingy', "We need to continue advancing policies that spur growth and create jobs. It's time for Republicans to let go of their failed austerity policies that weigh down our economy and prevent a speedier recovery. We simply can't cut our way to prosperity." I am a little curious here, exactly what growth has been spurred and just how many jobs is it that old 'Dingy' thinks have been created. Because our work force has been doing nothing but to shrink.

In June, 332,000 Americans saw their full-time hours 'involuntary' cut to part-time as small businesses seek to avoid regulations required under Obamacare. Under the law, businesses with over 50 full-time employees will be required to provide a health care plan to their employees or pay steep fines/taxes. Now as we all know, the employer health care mandate was originally supposed to go into effect in 2014, but, as we also all know, Barry recently took it upon himself to 'modify' that, for purely political purposes.

Because of the potential that it might have an adverse impact on Democrat candidates during the 2014 campaign season, with them being asked to explain their rationale for supporting Obamacare in the first place, Barry announced last month that he would be extending the mandate’s deadline for another year, or past the election. Speaker John Boehner stated that it's a decision that would seem to make quite clear that Barry "Almighty" recognizes his own law as a coming "train wreck."

And evidently, old 'Dingy Harry' was not referring to what are the many Obamacare business disincentives when he warned Republicans that "the last thing we need is another self-inflicted wound" to the American economy, nor to the recent revelation made by Sen. Ted Cruz that the immigration bill the 'Dingy' shepherded through the Senate would effectively penalize employers who hired American citizens over illegal immigrants. I'm sure that that was just an oversight on ‘Dingy’s’ part..

'Dingy' also went on to say, "It is unconscionable for Republicans to continue to play political games when a full, robust recovery is in sight." And that was less than a week after Republican Senator Orrin Hatch said, "While a delay of this mandate is welcome news since it shows the challenges the employers are facing complying with it, a delay – conveniently past the 2014 election – only adds to the uncertainty these job creators face because of Obamacare." Obviously it wasn’t done out of some concern for employers.

Now look, this idiotic line of 'Dingy Harry's' may work on your typically ignorant Democrat, but hopefully there are still enough people with enough remaining brainpower who will be able to recognize it for what it is. Which is pure political bullshit! What do we have to show for the massive amount of money that has already been spent? Nothing! Other than, of course, and massive debt resulting in a decrease of our credit rating for the first time in our nation's history.

Because of the policies that have been put into place by Barry and corrupt shits like 'Dingy', and that 'Dingy' thinks are still somehow insufficient, a third of our entire population has become dependent on the government for their food. And if the American workforce was of the same size that it was when Barry came into office, our unemployment rate would be at roughly 16 percent and not at the very bogus 7.6 percent advertised by Barry's team. We're plummeting toward the deck and all 'Dingy' wants to do is to push the stick forward.

SO, JUST HOW SENILE IS OLD 'DINGY HARRY' REID?

Nothin, and I do mean nothin, fills my heart with more joy than to know that, together with the rest of the Tea Party Patriots, I’m getting under ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid’s skin. This doddering old boob apparently still stands behind his recent ignorant comments in which he described the Tea Party as a bunch of modern-day "anarchists," telling a radio audience Wednesday that "they are against government." What he said during a stupid interview with some radio host named Rusty Humphries was, "I believe that, my experience with the tea party is, that they are against government in any form. They throw monkey wrenches into the government." Right, that’s all we do!

According to The Hill, ‘Douche bag Harry' expressed some frustration, telling Humphries that it was hard to get things done in Congress because of opposition from Tea Party-affiliated lawmakers. "It’s evident. We can’t get things done. They don’t want anything to happen in government," he reportedly said. "We pass laws. They fight funding the laws we pass. They don’t want government to work. I want it to work." Last week, Reid compared Tea Party Republicans to 19th century American anarchists during comments on the Senate floor, The Hill reported. Isn't is just like a slimy Democrat to blame his unwillingness to get things done on those trying to get something, anything, done?

Speaking on Humphries show, ‘Dingy Harry’ seemed to reaffirm his rather twisted view of things. "When I was in school, I studied government and I learned about anarchists," he said. "Now, they were different than the tea party because they were violent." This boob went on to say, "But they were anarchists because they did not believe in government in any level and they acknowledged it." He added, "The tea party kind of hides that." Well I'll tell ya what, there Harry, if standing up for the Constitution while Democrats like you are working overtime trying to destroy it, makes me an anarchist, then guess what, I'll wear that little moniker as a flippin badge of honor! Screw you!

Now as is usually the case with this senile old fart, he has a rather peculiar habit of distorting the facts. Because while I am perfectly willing to admit that government does have a role to play, our current monstrosity of a bloated government really serves no useful purpose whatsoever, other than to spend too much money. That I am against, 100 percent. But what is it, exactly, that 'Dingy' is trying to get done, that he can't? Raise taxes to the point where people are working to do nothing more than to fund the government? Allow millions of illegal aliens to become U.S. citizens at the stroke of Barry's pen? Or perhaps, rob from the American people their God given 'right' to own a gun!

So I guess if I'm understanding this schlep correctly, it seems to be his opinion that unless you agree completely with whatever it is that he and his fellow fascists in Congress want to do, somehow you're the one who's to be viewed as being the anarchist. Is that not some of the most insane logic you've ever heard? I mean, here we have a guy who's leading an actual bunch of bona fide anarchists, elected officials who are, quite literally, doing their very best to destroy our country, and somehow it's those of us who are trying to prevent just such a scenario from taking place, who are the ones being described as the anarchists here. How that for things being completely upside down?

PROOF THAT 'DINGY HARRY' REID LIVES IN AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE...

MIGHT ‘DINGY HARRY’ REID BE A LITTLE DINGIER THAN WE THOUGHT?

 

Well, will wonders never cease? Seems that a Utah businessman is now rocking both state and national politics after making the rather interesting claim that Utah Attorney General John Swallow, who oddly enough is a Republican, helped him broker a deal that would gain the assistance of ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid, of all people, in making a federal investigation into his company quietly disappear. At least that’s what the Salt Lake Tribune is now reporting. Jeremy Johnson was allegedly told that the price for obtaining ‘Dingy’s’ assistance in the matter would be $600,000, and he claims to have made an initial payment of $250,000 when he was slapped with a federal lawsuit. Now he says, he wants his money back.

 

 

So maybe, just maybe, that beady-eyed little shit that we all know and love as being the Democrat in charge of the Senate, 'Dingy' Harry Reid, is as corrupt as many of us have always thought he was. Now granted, I don't think we should get ahead of ourselves, regardless of the potential poetic justice here, after all, the Salt Lake Tribune does point out the fact that Johnson has no way of actually knowing whether or not the funds actually made it to 'Dingy Harry,' even if he did make a massive payment to someone allegedly identified as being 'Dingy's’ intermediary. But the Salt Lake Tribune continues with its story, explaining how the bribe supposedly came to be in 2010:
"At the time, Johnson was largely known in Utah as a wealthy philanthropist who spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to ferry supplies into Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake.

[...]

Then, with the FTC investigation continuing, Johnson said Swallow suggested Reid could make problems with regulators go away — for a price.

"I said, ‘OK, what do I need to do?’ He’s like, ‘OK, it costs money,’ " Johnson said, who claimed Swallow was adamant he make a deal.

"I think he told me, ‘Richard Rawle has a connection with Harry Reid,’ " Johnson said.

He said Swallow at first wanted $2 million to enlist Reid’s help. But [his company] I Works was no longer profitable and he did not have the money, Johnson said, so they eventually agreed on $300,000 upfront and $300,000 later.

Swallow put Johnson in contact with Rawle, whose company has operations in Nevada…

Rawle, who died of cancer last month, had contributed to Reid’s 2010 re-election bid and later bragged to Johnson that the Nevada Democrat helped him delay new federal payday-loan regulations, Johnson said.

On Sept. 29, 2010, Swallow sent an email to Johnson with the subject line "Mtg. with Harry Reid’s contact."

"Richard [Rawle] is traveling to LV tomorrow and will be able to contact this person, who he has a very good relationship with. He needs a brief narrative of what is going on and what you want to happen. I don’t know the cost, but it probably won’t be cheap."

On Oct. 7, Johnson emailed Rawle, insisting there was "rock solid proof" the FTC allegations against I Works were false. "We will do whatever it take[s] to get Senator Reid on our side and hopefully you can help make it happen. Let me know."

This fella, Johnson, spent 96 days in jail and has now released a number of emails and statements that would seem to corroborate at least part of his story. However, Swallow insists that Johnson is making "false and defamatory accusations" and that any role he may have played was merely for lobbying purposes. "There’s nothing wrong with that," Swallow stated. "As long as I’m not interfering with a government agency as a government official, there’s nothing wrong with me being involved." But Johnson told a judge he’s felt guilty about the situation from the start: "The truth is the worst thing I think I’ve done was I paid money knowing it was going to influence Harry Reid…So I’ve felt all along that I’ve committed bribery of some sort there."

 

 

Though the connection to 'Dingy' remains unverified, how many of us would really be all that surprised were we to find out that the accusations being made by this guy were, at least in part, accurate? And how many of us would just love to see this pathetic crook get his come-upins after finally getting caught with his arm in the cookie jar. They say what goes around, comes around, and I do seem to remember something about old 'Dingy' making some pretty wild accusations of his own about Mitt Romney and from the Senate floor no less. He accused Romney of not having paid his taxes for ten years and he based it on what was far less evidence than what we’re seeing being presented here.

 

A Las Vegas Review-Journal blog jokes about how ‘Dingy’ might address the situation, if looking in from the outside: "I have a "source" that says that Harry Reid takes bribes all the time. In fact, if you want anything done out of his office, you must come with a suitcase of cash just to get an audience. That’s how he’s gotten so rich on a senator’s salary. He stashes his money in an offshore bank account. And, as a sidebar for Salt Lake church execs, he hasn’t tithed on that bribe money." Oh, and I’m sure it comes as no big surprise to anyone that 'Dingy's' office has declined to make any comment on the matter. I’m sure he feels he’s quite immune to such ‘silly’ accusations, and he just remains quiet it all just blow over.
