PERRY WILLING TO ACT WHERE OBAMA WILL NOT!!!

I think we’ve all seen what happens to those who dare to even attempt actions that run counter to the wishes of our current Dictator-in-Chief. We’ve seen it play out on any number occasions and particularly when Republican governors are involved. And if that area of opposition just happens to be in any way related to the area of illegal immigration, or the demand that our current immigration laws be enforced, well then, the resulting intimidation that the offender is then made to be deal with, becomes all the more severe. Barry seems to be of the opinion that even though he is unwilling to enforce the nation’s immigration laws, that doesn’t mean that these governors should presume that they can.

So because he has now been left with so few alternative in his attempt to stem the tide of those now flowing illegally over our southern border, it seems that Texas Gov. Rick Perry has decided to move forward with one of the only options he seems to think that he has left. And for doing so he is now being met with some pretty vocal opposition regarding his efforts. The opposition comes from one of Barry’s many operatives who is also very much in favor of an open border. In this particular instance it is some state senator, a Democrat of course, from south Texas out to score some Barry points by leaking Perry's planned Monday announcement that he's sending 1,000 Texas National Guard troops to the border.

This revelation comes to us by way of one State Sen. Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa, who we’re told represents Texas’ 20th District comprised of the Corpus Christi – McAllen area of Texas. Hinojosa revealed that Gov. Perry was deploying the troops in an attempt to prevent drug smuggling and human trafficking in the region, according to the local paper, The Monitor. The troops, who will arrive gradually over the next month, will support troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety who are being overwhelmed by the thousands of undocumented immigrants pouring across the Rio Grande every month. I guess I’m unsure what this boob was hoping to gain from his little revelation.

And in what has become typical Democrat fashion in this era of Barry, we have this imbecile being heard to say, "My position is that we do not need to militarize the border. All these politicians coming down to border, they don't care about solving the problem, they just want to make a political point." He added, cartels "are taking advantage of the situation. But our local law enforcement from the sheriff's offices of the different counties to the different police departments are taking care of the situation." Where has this guy been? I mean, someone really should tell this liberal douche, that the border has ‘already’ become militarized and it has been done by those on the other side!

And of course this imbecile went on to say, "This is a civil matter, not a military matter. What we need is more resources to hire more deputies, hire more Border Patrol. These are young people, just families coming across. They're not armed. They're not carrying weapons." However, he did finally admit that local officials have appealed for additional law enforcement and more aid to feed and clothe the surge of juvenile illegal immigrants, mostly from Central America, that have been spewing across the Rio Grande. This invasion that is now underway requires extraordinary measures to control and to limit. Because the folks that are now being left to do the job, are now simply being outnumbered.

According to state memo obtained by one of the news organizations reporting on what is now taking place, denied that the guards were being deployed as "a militarization of the border." It made it clear that the DPS and the National Guard are working to keep drug smugglers and human traffickers from using major highways. "Smuggling has supposedly, according to DPS, moved West on the border with an increase in Jim Hogg County," the memo states. "DPS especially wants to apply the Guard in the rural areas to patrol." And that seems like something even a scummy Democrat like Hinojosa would say is a good idea. But I guess this guy must be in favor of illegal drugs as much as he’s in favor of illegal immigrants.

The National Guard deployment will cost $12 million a month, which will bring the total pricetag of troopers on the border to $5 million per week, The Monitor said. "It is not clear where the money will come from in the budget," the memo said, although Perry's office says the funding will come from "non-critical" areas, such as healthcare or transportation. In Iowa over the weekend, Perry told a small meeting that if Barry "Almighty" ignored his request to send 1,000 National Guard troops to the border, he would make the order himself. He said, "We've sent the message that if we don't get the satisfaction that the federal government's going to move and move quickly, then the state of Texas will, in fact, fill that void."

RICK PERRY IS SAID TO HAVE O-FENDED…

Oh, oh, it would seem that my guy Rick Perry has gone and pissed off the light-in-the-loafers crowd. He’s been described as having sparked outrage from both gay rights groups and Democrats with what were described as being his "toxic" remarks comparing homosexuality to alcoholism. Sounds like a fair comparison to me. But look, personally I really don’t care what people do in the privacy of their home, but I resent it being constantly shoved in my face.

According to the Dallas Morning News, it was some liberal boob by the name of Will Hailer, the Texas Democrat Party executive director, who wasted very little time in chastising Perry for his supposed ‘toxic’ comments. He said, "Gov. Rick Perry should be ashamed of himself." The trouble with gays is that they simply expect us all to be accepting of their chosen lifestyle. A lifestyle that, to say the least, comes with it’s own rather unique set of health risks.

Perry made his little comparison on Wednesday at the Commonwealth Club of California in San Francisco after being asked the rather loaded question of whether he believes homosexuality is a disorder. You know, those on the left are always preaching about tolerance. And yet who is that is the least tolerant of the views of others. We who do not agree with their preferred lifestyle MUST be tolerant of them, but that tolerance doesn’t seem to go both ways.

"Whether or not you feel compelled to follow a particular lifestyle or not, you have the ability to decide not to do that," said Perry, who's not seeking re-election, in remarks broadcast on the local CBS affiliate. Perry went on to say, "I may have the genetic coding that I'm inclined to be an alcoholic, but I have the desire not to do that. And I look at the homosexual issue in the same way." And, honestly, what’s really wrong with that statement?

But Hailer said, "The governor should be working to bring Texans together instead of grandstanding across the country and spewing toxic, ill-informed rhetoric." The comments, which were called controversial by some, have been said to have spread across the Internet like wildfire. And they were also slammed by some group who calls itself the Human Rights Campaign, a group supporting gay rights, at least according to the Houston Chronicle.

It was Fred Sainz, vice president for communications at the Human Rights Campaign who said, "Although he may not have the ‘genetic coding' to think before he speaks, Rick Perry, M.D. should have a real conversation with actual doctors before voicing his expertise on these issues." This boob went on to say, "Every major mental health and medical organization in the country has condemned practices aimed at changing a person's sexual orientation."

I guess my question is, how stupid must gays really be for them not to be able to recognize the fact that the ONLY reason even the Democrats go along with their questionable lifestyle is because they want gays to vote for them. It’s not that they necessarily condone the gay lifestyle. So all of this holier-than-thou bullshit is just that, bullshit. And although many folks think that gays make up 25 percent of the population, it’s actually much closer to only 2-4 percent.

Now I think it pretty safe to say that gays in this country are a pretty solid Democrat constituency, and that’s fine with me. And if they want to keep on voting for the party that’s destroying this country they can feel free to do just that, but they’re liable to be in for a rude awakening. Because they might want to consider the fact that when the country goes under, which it is now very close to doing, it’s gonna go under for everyone, gays and straights alike.

GOV. RICK PERRY MAKES SOME GOOD POINTS…

While I am a big supporter of his fellow Texan, Ted Cruz, I remain, also, a pretty big fan of Texas Gov. Rick Perry. And where I very much agree with him in his calling on Republicans in Congress to "hold their ground" in any negotiations with Democrats in the effort to end our current government shutdown, I not sure whether that his call for both sides to be willing to "get together and negotiate" isn’t being wasted. Because Republicans in Congress have already made it quite clear that they are more than willing to get down to the the tough task of negotiating, the ones who stubbornly refuse to do so are all on the Democrat side and therefore couldn’t care less about Gov. Perry’s strong recommendations.

"Get together and negotiate. That's what we do in the states. The Democrats, Republicans. We get together. And, we find solutions to these issues. Washington doesn't seem to want to," the former Republican presidential candidate said Tuesday on "Fox & Friends." And he went on to say, "The president of the United States and the Senate hold the cards here. We understand that. And, the Republicans are going to have to hold their ground and get as much as they can." And while that all may sound pretty good, you can’t have negotiations when only one side wants to negotiate and the other side want to say NO. I am curious as to why is it that the Democrats are never referred to as being ‘the party of NO.’

Gov. Perry urged Barry "Almighty", who had been unwilling to negotiate prior to last weekend, to take the lead in ending the two-week-old shutdown. "Hopefully, the president will quit making people suffer, and will work towards finding a negotiated settlement, if you will, that's in the best interests of the people of this country," he said. Well, I wouldn’t hold my breath for that to happen, as long as Barry thinks he has the upper hand. Perry also suggested that Barry and ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid might be working to prolong the shutdown as a way to help keep the focus off Obamacare and "what an absolute disaster this rollout is." And I wouldn’t be surprised if that was, in fact, part of the overall Democrat strategy here.

"I would suggest to you the president of the United States and Harry Reid are more interested in this political theater, because they don't want the focus to be on Obamacare," the governor said. He then went on to add, "When you really dig down into Obamacare, you find out it's going to be a huge job killer." he added. And he’s exactly correct. There is nothing good about Obamacare, but then there was never intended to be anything good about it. The sole purpose of it was to put the healthcare that American are able to receive under the very firm control of their government. It had nothing whatsoever to with lowering costs or with creating better choices. It was all about control and about power.

With states showing improved economic conditions and Washington in gridlock, Perry suggested that America may soon begin thinking about shifting more power away from the federal government and back to the states, which was how our Founders had intended it. "Washington is not looked upon well by the people of this country," he said on the Fox News program. "I would suggest to you that the conversation of making Washington as inconsequential as we can, going forward, is going to start picking up more and more support." He added, "People are going to look to the states, red state vs. blue state policies, as the laboratories of innovation across this country," Perry continued. I sure hope that he’s right.

GOV. RICK PERRY, SET TO DO A LITTLE 'TROLLING' OUT IN CALIFORNIA...

 

 

While I had some pretty high hopes for him last time around as being the one guy I thought to be most capable of knocking off Barry "Almighty" but, sadly, in the end, it was just not to be. But that doesn’t mean I admire or respect him any less. And in once again demonstrating what it is about him that still appeals to a great many people, Gov. Rick Perry is now planning a little expedition, of sorts, to California next week. This most recent trip will follow up on a small buy of radio ads and is intended to provide Perry with an opportunity to present to those currently doing business in California with some of the benefits of doing business in Texas. And he’ll also work to convince them that it would be in the best interest of their businesses to relocate to The Lone Star State. And you'd think they'd jump at it.

 

Perry is scheduled to fly out to the West Coast on Sunday and once there is scheduled to meet with executives in San Francisco, the Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and Orange County. A marketing company, using private money, bought about $24,000 worth of radio time to air an ad in which the Republican governor says, "I hear building a business in California is next to impossible." The governor's office said he will meet with business leaders in the high tech, biotechnology, financial, insurance and even film industries. I like Perry's style, he's willing to whatever it takes to make sure that Texas remains as prosperous as possible in spite of what's currently being foisted upon this country by those in Washington. He's looking out for the people of his state, not seeking new and more creative ways of trying to take advantage of them.

 

California’s flower-child of a governor, Jerry Brown, a devout Democrat, can, I think, be called the anti-Perry. I mean he is the exact opposite both in political philosophy and leadership ability. Far from taking Perry's visit seriously, earlier this week he pretty much dismissed the whole thing, going so far as to describe the ad buy as being insignificant in a state where literally millions are needed to do anything more than scratch the surface in the market to any serious degree. His office released a statement citing data that shows business relocations have no significant impact on either state's economy. Brown's spokesman, Gil Duran, did not immediately return an email Thursday seeking a response to Perry's planned visit. I think the hippie governor is either extremely naïve or living in denial if that’s truly how he sees things. I think he’s wrong.

 

And then we have one of those rare Republican lawmakers in California who said his state should work to keep jobs in the state. "I am frustrated that Governor Perry and governors from other states continue to see California as fertile ground to steal businesses," said Assembly member Jeff Gorell, R-Camarillo. "We must thwart their efforts by creating a better business climate in California." Right, like that’ll ever happen! Let's face it, California, like just about every other blue state, is anti-business and pro-union. And because of an archaic tax system and huge number of onerous regulations, to name just a couple of reasons, businesses who are serious about turning a profit should jump at the chance to leave California, and head to Texas. I mean, really, what's the incentive to stay in California and be forced into bankruptcy?

 

Perry prides himself on keeping taxes low, limiting regulations and restricting lawsuits to create a better business climate in Texas. He uses the slogan, "Texas, Wide Open for Business." But his liberal detractors, of which there are many, do their best to point out that Texas has the highest percentage of workers without health insurance in the nation and averages among the lowest scores on college admissions exams. Ok, so if those living there don't like how things are done in Texas, they're always free to leave and head toward, say, California where things are more, liberal. But I just don't see too many folks deciding to do that. You know, with there being any number of examples of how things don't seem to work, Texas remains one of those examples of what does work, as is just about every other red state to one degree or another.

 

Now you would think that with the evidence starring them right in the face those in Washington would see in following the Texas model and not the California model. But as long as we have a devout socialist in the White House, and many in Congress as well, this country will be made to go down the same road as is just about every blue state. And, as it is in every other blue state, it makes little sense what's being done by those in charge out there in the land of the fruits, the nuts and the flakes. But then, I suppose you could say the objectives of those running blue states is quite different than those running the red ones. Perry's working to make Texas stronger, both economically and financially. Democrats in control of the blue states, seem determined to do just the opposite. Likewise, Democrats in Washington want to over tax, over regulate and over legislate us right into the ground.
