OBAMA SEES HIMSELF AS THE GREAT PROTECTOR OF ISRAEL

In a particular instance this week Barry provided to us, the American voters, with incontrovertible proof of just how blatantly this president will lie in his effort to get re-elected. He will say absolutely anything to anybody in an attempt to cast himself as having done so much, no only for this country, but the world. When in fact it is just the opposite is true. The world has become a much more volatile place since January 20, 2009, there is simply no way to dispute that fact. And it goes without saying that this country is now far worse off than when Barry's cool self first came struttin into the Oval Office. So, while a great many people view him as being nothing more than a colossal failure, his perception of himself is starkly different. He has said on any number of occasions that he would proudly put his record up against anybody's. Really?

So it should come as no surprise that in what was nothing more than a very transparent attempt to pander to the Jewish community in this country, who supported him in substantial numbers in 2008, that he is on the side of Israel. Barry “Almighty” made what can only be the most ridiculous claim I’ve yet heard come out of his mouth on Wednesday when he said he has done more for Israel’s security than any other administration, and vowed no ally is more important to the U.S. than the Jewish state. I can only imagine the astonished look that must of appeared on the faces of those in the crowd. And I’m amazed that he wasn’t looking upward for that stray bolt of lightening when he said, “I try not to pat myself too much on the back, but this administration has done more for the security of the state of Israel than any previous administration."

This little episode of self congratulatory rhetoric came while speaking to gathering of very prominent Jewish supporters at a New York City fundraiser. Barry said there is “enormous tumult” in the Middle East because of the Arab Spring, but that the U.S. stands firmly “on the side of democracy” and on Israel’s side, or at least that's how ABC reported it. “Whether it’s making sure that our intelligence cooperation is effective, to making sure that we’re able to construct something like an iron dome so that we don’t have missiles raining down on Tel Aviv, we have been consistent in insisting that we don’t compromise when it comes to Israel’s security,” Barry said. Adding, “Obviously, no ally is more important than the state of Israel.” Obvious to whom? It’s no longer all that obvious to me. How many times has he simply thrown Israel under the bus?

Our good buddy Barry faced some pretty stiff criticism earlier this year when he came out with what can only be described as the most idiotic and insane suggestion saying that negotiations for a Palestinian state should be based on the pre-1967 borders. And has had a strained relationship, to say the least, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, including the little incident of when he was caught disparaging him on a live microphone with fellow socialist, French President Nicolas Sarkozy last month. American Jewish Congress chairman Jack Rosen, who hosted the fundraiser at his home, acknowledged there are those who are doubtful of Barry’s commitment to Israel, Reuters. “It would be remiss for me not to say there are many in the Jewish community who are concerned” about the relationship between Israel and the United States, Rosen said.

But Mr. Rosen added, “America has never been as supportive of the state of Israel as President Obama and his administration.” I can only think that for Mr. Rosen to hold such an opinion regarding the current level of support being provided to Israel, must be living in some alternate universe. Every Democrat president going back to Carter has not had a favorable view of Israel. It is only when there is a Republican in the White House that Israel can count on America. So I fail to understand what would motivate Mr. Rosen to make such a easily disprovable statement. Maybe he too, is come closet Israel haters. Anyway, it was again according to ABC that 30 Barry "Almighty" supporters each paid at least $10,000 per person to attend the little gathering. It was one of three fundraisers he attended in New York City Wednesday, marking 69 total fundraisers he has attended this year.
