DESPITE LOUSY JOB PROSPECTS, BLACKS STILL SUPPORT THEIR BLACK PRESIDENT…

Well then, I have a question for any black person who may somehow managed to have gotten themselves lost and ended up here. And please take no offense, I ask only out of an attempt to educate myself regarding how it is that the mind of a black person actually works. My question is this, "What was it, exactly, that motivated you to vote for Barry "Almighty"? Was it really nothing more than the fact that he’s black like you? I just find it as being more than just a little risky to vote for someone for no other reason than because of his, or her, race.

Now commonsense would seem to indicate that since we have a black man as our president there would now be underway at least some attempt, the purpose of which would be, to improve the employment prospects for blacks in this country. But apparently not, and oddly enough it would appear that that same black man now in the White House appears more determined than ever to make matters as bad as he possibly can for those in the black community. And that just doesn’t seem to make any sense to me. But for some reason, it apparently makes sense to blacks.

And so as I look over the recently released employment numbers, I found it personally deplorable that the black youth unemployment rate, for ages 16-19, it now at the level that it is, which is a rather astounding 393%, or nearly four times, higher than what’s now being touted as the national unemployment rate. A number that is a hysterically fictitious number that is so far removed from reality as to make totally unbelievable. The source for these numbers is the data that was released just today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

As of October 2013, the unemployment rate for this particular demographic stood at 36.0 percent, which was an increase over last month’s rate of 35.1 percent. The supposed national unemployment rate, as least the one currently being advertised by this administration, currently stands at 7.3 percent. But I would argue that the actual unemployment number is much closer to 14 percent. And as I have stated before, if the size of the nation’s workforce was the same as it was back when Barry took office, the unemployment rate would be roughly17 percent.

Fewer black youths held jobs in October with the number of employed decreasing from 487,000 in September to 444,000. So the bottom line here is that 43,000 fewer black youths held jobs in October. Additionally, the participation rate for black youth has decreased from 29.4 percent in September to 27.3 percent in October, a decrease of 2.1 percentage points. And yet, what I find as being more than a little confusing, is how Barry can still command what is overwhelming support from those in the black community. Ordinarily that would be strange.

Strange because from my perspective that would seem to call into question the true motives behind Barry’s continued support from blacks. I mean, do they even care whether or not they have a job? Or has it become second nature for them to simply live off the government, which is in reality they’re choosing to live off those of us who do work and are forced to pay more and more in taxes. Let’s face it, it’s a little difficult to maintain any amount of sympathy for those who seem to have no conscience and who possess no desire to work to support themselves.

And I guess if blacks really wanted to work, we’d be hearing a lot more complaining about the fact that there are no jobs. And it’s actually their disdain for work that is most likely forms the biggest roadblock to them voting for Republicans. Because, for example, it’s the Democrats who think it unfair to expect welfare recipients to perform any manner of work in return for receiving their ‘benefits’. Whereas, it’s usually Republicans who are pushing for such work requirements. But blacks see themselves as being above having to work for what they get.
