And so it is then that according to Bill Nye “The
Bogus Science Guy” ALL global warming skeptics, such as myself, should now be
jailed by the federal government because "this extreme doubt about climate
change is affecting my quality of life as a public citizen." He made his idiotic comments during an
interview with the conservative ‘Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow’ (CFACT)
which was then published on YouTube this past Wednesday. Nye was asked by CFACT interviewer Marc Morano if he agrees with other green ‘activists’ that the government should
throw global warming skeptics into jail as criminals, to which Nye responded
“Well, we’ll see what happens. ” I’d say
it’s Nye who represents the far greater danger to the rest of us.
Nye asked, “Was it appropriate to jail the guys from
ENRON?” And he then went on to ask, “Was
it appropriate to jail people from the cigarette industry who insisted that
this addictive product was not addictive and so on? For me as a taxpayer and voter — the
introduction of this extreme doubt about climate change is affecting my quality
of life as a public citizen.” Nye was
being interviewed for “Climate Hustle,” an upcoming documentary film skeptical
of global warming that premieres nationwide next month. When asked if his
proposal would generate a chilling effect on scientific research, Nye
responded, “That there is a chilling effect on scientists who are in extreme
doubt about climate change — I think is good.”
The question was a reference to green activist
Robert F. Kennedy’s statement in a September 2014 interview where he said that
the government should “punish” and imprison anyone who says that global warming
“does not exist.” And just to show how
far out there in the kook fringe this boob is, Kennedy also accused the Koch
Brothers of “treason” for “polluting our atmosphere.” I would argue that besides being one more bit
of evidence which proves that more than just a little inbreeding has long been
taking place within the Kennedy clan, Kennedy’s claims, which also provoked a rather
sharp response from many conservative publications, also make it quite clear
that those who preach the religion of ‘climate change’ seem to have lost all
touch with reality.
But let’s face it, I think most of us will agree
that "climate science" is really little more than an oxymoron. And those on the left can continue to deny
that fact until the cows come home but it isn’t going to magically become
anything other than that. Because if the
"man-caused global warming" believers, aka the nuts, were RIGHT, the
science would have long ago proven them to be right and there would be NO NEED
for any further discussions. But since
the "man-caused global warming" nuts keep using words like
"should be", "could be", "looks like", "may
be", "appears to be", and a wild assortment of other
questionable words in their debates, that proves that the "science is
still out" concerning "man-caused global warming!"
Nye, as many may recall, is the former host of the
Public Broadcasting System (PBS) children's series "The Science
Guy." And as such, what we have
here is another perfect example of how taxpayer money is so badly wasted. Besides being used to subsidize the brainwashing
of our children it’s also used in much the same manner to subsidize a near
endless stream of propaganda that can, on nearly any day, be heard on that
other government outlet, National Public Radio (NPR). It’s odd that Democrats are all in favor of
such brainwashing and yet harp on it is that conservatives are being
‘brainwashed’ by those on Talk Radio which comes from the right and, oddly
enough, requires absolutely zero government subsidization. But that’s a story for another day.
Nye began his ‘professional entertainment’ career as
a writer/actor on a local sketch comedy television show which was on the in
that bastion of leftwing lunacy, Seattle, Washington. His first appearance came on something that called
‘Almost Live!’. The host of this particular show, Ross Shafer, suggested that
Nye do some scientific demonstrations in a six-minute segment, and take on the
nickname "The Science Guy". I’d
be curious to know just how it was that this boob was able to go from a ‘six-minute
science’ guy to being recognized, by the left, as an expert on the subject of “climate
change.’ Because it’s quite obvious that
he knows very little about that which he claims to be an expert.
And perhaps it is Barry and Mr. Nye who are the one
who should be incarcerated because it’s they, and those who share their
cockamamie views on ‘climate change’, who are essentially responsible for
damaging the quality of life for the people of Kentucky and West Virginia with
their climate change nonsense as well as for having thousands of hard working
Americans being out of work courtesy of the bizarre ongoing war against coal
producers in this country. Nye is a
complete nut who owns a home on each coast and flies all over profiting from
the climate change myth, all the while producing a sizable carbon footprint
that is comparable to that left by the likes of Al Gore and Lenny DiCaprio.
The hypothesis of anthropogenic (man-made) global
warming, began with Roger Revelle and Hans E. Sues in an article in, Tellus,
Vol 9, No. 1 18-27 (1957). The article suggested the growing quantity of CO2
resulting from burning fossil fuel ‘might’ cause global warming. No one can claim that Revelle thought we
should spend hundreds of billions of dollars on reducing ‘climate change’. He
did not believe that. Also, the man who
developed the computer models that all the other computer models are based on,
Syukuro Manabe, doesn't believe the models are useful for predicting climate
warming. But why should we listen to men
like these when we have guys like Barry, John Kerry-Heinz, Al Gore and Mr.
‘Science Guy’ here to keep us straight?
And also it’s one of the most eminent scientists
alive, Freeman Dyson, who does not believe we should be taking any action to
reduce carbon emission, because we don't know if the carbon we are producing is
a net good, or a net bad. So I guess my
question to Nye would be, why is it that we should be listening to the man who
founded the science; or the guy whose models the science is based on; or even
one of the preeminent physicists alive, when we have such a valuable resource
as the guy who was the host of a Disney Children's show? It’s a no brainer right? We should go with the Disney host every
time. I mean, it’s absolute nonsense how
this ‘six-minute science’ guy can see himself as being more knowledgeable than
real scientists!
And then if you’re really interested you can check
out Nye's evolution vs creation debate with creationist Ken Ham on You Tube.
Nye's illogical and uninformed arguments in the debate would make any
evolutionist begin to have doubts about his beliefs. That being the standard
his reasoning operates under, one can only be skeptical about his views on
climate change. The guy is, as are most leftists, really an intellectual
lightweight. And also, especially like
our current president as well as the Democrat frontrunner in the race to
replace him, leftists seem to have an over-inflated sense of importance. The size of their egos is exceeded only by
the number of issues they know nothing about but on which they claim to be
experts!
