LIKE WE NEEDED ANOTHER ‘POLL’ TO TELL US THE MEDIA SUCKS??? REALLY???

Seriously folks after eight long years of Barry ‘O’ and one year of President Trump do we really need some cockamamie poll telling us that the American people no longer have much faith in that once venerable institution that we used to refer to as the ‘mainstream media’.  A band of losers that has, today, come to be viewed by a majority of Americans as being little more than the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.  But, be that as it may it’s according to a new poll by Poynter, the self-described “global leader in journalism,” that nearly half of all Americans don’t trust the news media and believe the press makes up most of the stories it reports.

But then, that’s only because they do, and quite frequently.  The Poynter Media Trust Survey discovered that 44% of those polled “believe the press invents negative stories about the president.”  Not surprising, it’s the vast majority of Republicans (74%) who feel that way.  And apparently none of those who take great pleasure in to referring to themselves as ‘journalists’ have learned anything, even after having been on the receiving end of a sizable wakeup call on November 8, 2016, when to their utter shock and dismay, Donald Trump, and not their favored candidate, Hitlery, won the presidency.  As I recall there were some pretty glum faces that night.

Because not one of them saw it coming and it was every single network, even Fox News, who was overly confident that they’d be declaring only one victor that evening, Hitlery, and their biases were clearly revealed that night.  The fallout was epic.  All the major newsrooms scrambled to figure out where they went wrong.  Most promised to do better to report the news outside of their left-wing bubbles but instead, it was in pretty short order that they were soon back to their old ways, spreading any negative story they could about Trump whether true or not. So it’s doubtful if this second supposed wakeup call will end up having any sort of an effect.

Those at Poynter are nothing short of a very determined bunch of optimists as they hope their survey will change things this time around.  They said, “The finding should be a fire alarm for newsrooms; a widespread, fundamental misunderstanding among the public of what we do points to an urgent need to be more transparent about how and why we report news. Remedies to begin restoring audience trust include annotating stories and linking original documents and images to show how we know what we know, and publishing reports and videos taking the audience step-by-step through ethical standards, methods, sourcing and fact-checking.”

And they went on to say, “The Washington Post is doing that in a new series called “How to Be a Reporter,” which cited the Poynter survey as an inspiration and launched four days after Post editor Marty Baron spoke of the need for more transparency to address the trust gap at the Poynter Ethics Summit.”  The Poynter survey did find that many Americans (49%) believe journalists report “fully, accurately and fairly,” but that’s only a few more percentage points than those that don’t. Democrats are confident in the mainstream media’s coverage to the tune of a whopping 74%. In contrast, only 19% of Republicans trust the media to tell the truth.

Now let’s just say that this is one of those very rare occasions where this poll is at least somewhere near to being accurate.  I must admit that I find it all more than just a bit disconcerting that 50% of Americans are still able to trust what’s being reported in the ‘state-controlled’ media and billed as being ‘news’ coverage.  I never watch the state-controlled media, which includes CNN and MSNBC.  And I rarely watch all that much on Fox News these days.  They sound like a broken record as they remain on their anti-Trump crusade, blaming President Trump, as well as those right-of-center politically, as the root-cause of every ailment that they can conjure up.

Then, of course, there’s the leftist entertainment industry, whose purpose is not so much to entertain but to indoctrinate imbecilic leftist viewers.  Sadly, our state-run media and the entertainment industry have now essentially become one in the same, creating fake news and incendiary propaganda meant to motivate comatose to semi-comatose liberals.  Liberals are not unlike Zombies or drones shuffling about aimlessly waiting for one of the chosen, the so-called leftist intelligentsia/handlers, to monitor their behavior and political fidelity to the Leftist Progressive subversive cause: A Totalitarian America. Liberalism is synonymous with Despotism.

You see, the true-believers of this twisted and rather perverted cause/religion are simply too incompetent to function on their own, and are completely unable to think for themselves.  And what they are, are nothing more than carriers of what has very clearly become a deadly virus that can now be said to be sweeping across our nation and the world.  It is called "Liberalism" and even the truth seems not to be enough to destroy it.  I haven't believed a damn thing from these purveyors of ‘fake news’ for years.  Imagine how much better off this country would be if those who were once considered to be the watchdogs of our democracy actually did their job.

WHEN IT COMES TO POLLS, BELIEVE NOTHING…

If there is one thing that I have learned over the course of the last 2 years, or so, it’s that one can never put much stock into ANY poll, regardless of the topic or issue that is being polled.  Now with that said it’s according to a recent Gallup poll, which surveyed 1,049 adults from December 4–11, that for the tenth year in a row ex-president Barry ‘O’ is the man “most admired” by the American people.  And what’s funnier still is the fact that it was Hitlery who topped this poll for being the “most admired woman”, a title she has apparently held for the past 15 years.

The Gallup poll, which has been conducted every year since 1946, asked respondents to name their top two picks for most admired man and woman.  Barry ‘O’ took the top spot with 17 percent of the vote, while 14 percent of respondents voted for President Donald Trump allowing him to take the runner-up slot. ‘Commie Pope’ Francis followed with three percent of the vote, and Rev. Billy Graham came in fourth with two percent of the vote.  Both Trump and Pope Francis have made the list before, although they have yet to take the top slot in the poll.

However, Gallup did make note of the face that Hitlery may not hold onto her title in future years because her polling numbers were at their lowest in 15 years and are unlikely to improve as her political career is “likely over.”  Gallup said, “She managed to win this year because she remains arguably more prominent than other contenders.” And added, “However, retaining that stature may be more challenging in coming years with her political career likely over.”  Former first lady Moochelle Obummer took the runner-up slot, followed by the Oprah Winfrey.

But let’s face it, polling less than 1100 people to determine who is the most admired person, by over 250,000,000 people, doesn’t exactly yield results that are anything other than highly suspect.  Regardless of their methods, the sample size is simply too small to derive anything of statistical significance.  That makes any conclusions drawn more than just a little bogus.  And it makes you an absolute moron for believing and supporting their concocted conclusions.  But in this case, I suppose, it does make for good PR for those who manage the top “most admired” spots. 

And regardless of how many people actually participated in this poll, I guess what has me rather curious is how anyone, regardless of their political affiliation, can actually claim to admire a man who has made it so abundantly clear that he possesses nothing but hatred for the country he was elected to lead.  His agenda was one that was focused on the systematic dismantling of this country, and, in his own words, to “fundamentally transform” it.  And oddly enough, the “most admired woman” was the person who desperately wanted to carry that same agenda forward.

Here’s an idea, how about someone conducting a poll to see how many Americans it is that think Obummer is little more than a fraud and a traitor, besides being the worst president in all of American history.  But then I suppose that would likely be considered racist.  After all, to say anything that is not a ringing endorsement of this man, or his presidency, is nothing less than an act of political heresy.  There is nothing about this man that can in any way been seen as admirable.  He’s nothing more than a con man, and a political deviant of the worst kind.

But let’s just say, for the sake of argument, that Barry ‘O’ and Hitlery actually are the two people most admired by the American people.  What exactly does that say about the state of our country or of the people who inhabit it?  I find it more than a little disturbing that there are those who are able to admire people who are two of the most dishonest and corrupt individuals that you could find anywhere on the entire planet.  And what might it be that allows them to do so?  Is it gullibility?  Or, is it simply out of ignorance?   Whatever the case, it’s truly frightening.  

LIBERALS, LIKE A SWARM OF LOCUST…

As liberals flee the respective messes that they themselves helped to create, the net result has been that three Democrat-leaning states have hemorrhaged hundreds of thousands of people in 2016 and 2017 because crime and high taxes had residents seeking greener pastures elsewhere.  And it’s these locusts set loose upon our nation that upon arrival at their chosen destination soon set about turning those red states they settle in, blue.  These liberals never learn. They destroy their liberal Blue states and then move on to various Red states and proceed to destroy them.

The exodus of residents was most pronounced in New York, which saw about 190,000 people leave the state between July 1, 2016 and July 1, 2017, that according to the U.S. Census Bureau data released just last week.  New York’s domestic out-migration during that time period was about the same as it was in the same time 2015 and 2016. Since 2010, the state’s outflow of just over 1 million residents has exceeded that of every other state, both in absolute terms and as a share of population, according to some ‘free-market’ think tank that calls itself the Empire Center.

And yet despite the massive domestic out-migration flow, New York’s net population actually grew slightly, largely due to high levels of international immigration and a so-called “natural increase” — that being the difference between births and deaths in a given year.  New York’s net migration was about minus 60,000 residents, but the state had 73,000 more births than deaths, resulting in a net population growth of about 13,000.  A onetime New York resident myself, it was upon retirement from the military that there was simply no way I was going back to New York. 

Illinois, on the other hand, has not been so fortunate. Long-beset by twin budget and pension crises and the erosion of its tax base, Illinois lost so many residents that it dropped from the fifth to the sixth-most populous state in 2017.  Just under 115,000 Illinois residents decamped for other states between July 2016 and July 2017.  Since 2010, the Land of Lincoln has lost about 650,000 residents to other states on net, equal to the combined population of the state’s four largest cities other than Chicago, and that would be according to the Illinois Policy Institute.

Illinois’ domestic out-migration problem has become a nightmare for lawmakers, who must find a way to solve the worst pension crisis in the nation as the state’s tax base continues to shrink year after year.  Illinois’ Democrat-dominated legislature has only made a bad situation worse with numerous tax hikes, causing even more people to leave and throwing the state into a demographic death spiral spiral. Illinois experienced a net loss of about 33,000 residents in 2016, the fourth consecutive year of population decline.  And yet leaders refuse to do anything to stop the bleeding. 

And it was Orphe Divounguy, someone billed as the ‘chief economist’ with the Illinois Policy Institute, who said, “As people leave the state, they take their pocketbooks with them. That means there are fewer Illinoisans to pay the bills.” He went on to say, “It’s worrying because if you have a declining population and a declining labor force, you will for sure have a further slowdown of economic activity going into 2018.”  I’d like to ask this supposed ‘chief economist’ on what, or who, it is that he places the blame?  His reply would likely be nothing but more liberal drivel. 

And it was, of course, California that was the third deep blue state to experience significant domestic out-migration between July 2016 and July 2017, and it couldn’t blame the outflow on retirees searching for a more agreeable climate.  About 138,000 residents left the state during that time period, second only to New York.  However, because California was the top receiving state for international migrants, its net migration was actually 27,000.  Add to that number a “natural increase” of 214,000 people, and California’s population grew by about just over 240,000.

Going forward, one factor that could worsen domestic out-migration from New York, California and Illinois is the newly-enacted tax reform bill, which caps state and local tax (SALT) deductions at $10,000.  The limit on SALT deduction is poised to hit taxpayers harder in those states than it will in just about any other.  According to the Tax Foundation, New York, Illinois and California had three of the five highest tax rates expressed as a percentage of per capita income, with residents paying 12.7 percent, 11 percent and 11 percent, respectively. 

Another analogy that would seem to fit whenever discussing Liberalism is that it has come to resemble the very worst form of cancer.  Because it metastasizes out from an initial or primary site to different or secondary sites within the host's body. Liberalism can also be defined as being the persistence of human beings failing to achieve a certain result, and then once again making the same attempt in another location, expecting there to be a different outcome.  And it’s those who support this failed ideology that now represents the greatest threat we face.

Ultimately it’s these three states that represent the Blue that so many lefties are very proud of, and that is, in reality, responsible for running up all manner of social spending on the backs of those who choose to remain behind.  They hate where they live, so they move to someplace new, infect it with what is their toxic ideology, and demand that the new host change to make it more like the place they just left. They are an infestation of the worst kind.  And while we may welcome them in we must also work to prevent them from turning us into what it was they left behind. 

TIME FOR AMERICA TO DEPART THE UNITED NATIONS…

There is an old adage that says, if I remember correctly, “You can judge a man not by his friends, but by the caliber of his enemies.”  And I think much the same can be said of countries.  And why I choose to mention this is the reaction from many countries regarding President Trump’s recent decision, and very appropriate one, to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  And it was countries with appalling human rights records, relishing their moments in the spotlight last Thursday, who chose to lambast the U.S. for daring to make such a move.

Here are but a few of the countries who were allowed to take a swing at the U.S. during the debate on the U.N. General Assembly motion condemning the U.S. move, or who chose to vote against the U.S.:

Venezuela, whose government this month banned opposition parties from its 2018 elections, was particularly vocal in its condemnation of the U.S. decision. Despite the country’s dilapidated socialist economy forcing Venezuelans to scavenge food from garbage bags, Venezuela’s representative launched into a tirade against the U.S., declaring itself “alarmed” by Israel’s alleged violations of international law in Palestinian territories.  Samuel Moncada, Venezuela's deputy foreign minister until June 2017, said, “Our message to the current admin of U.S. of A is the following: The world is not for sale. The world is not for sale and your threats imperil global piece.”

North Korea, a country known for starving its people to death, North Korea is also one of the most brutal dictatorships in the world while also causing international outrage and instability by aggressively ramping up missile tests as it seeks out a nuclear weapon. But despite itself being both a human rights pariah and under ever-tightening sanctions, North Korea also voted Thursday to censure the U.S.  Delegate Ja Song Nam said the U.S. move was deserving of “global condemnation.” He added that the U.S. and Israel bear “full responsibility” for the consequences of the decision for its “reckless and high-handed” actions.  He also called on Israel and the U.S. to listen to the international community, something North Korea has itself failed to do in regards to its weapons programs despite multiple rounds of international sanctions.

Syria, a country involved in a years-long civil war, during which Syrian President Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons against his own civilians. It is also a country where ISIS took hold and secured their de facto capital in Raqqa. Yet despite its appalling human rights state and its wartorn conditions, Syria was another country to line up and take a shot at the U.S.  Syrian Deputy Ambassador Mounzer Mounzer said the move “unmasks their unlimited support for the racist, colonialist, Zionist entity which undermines the rights of the Palestinian people.”

Yemen, a country currently involved in a bloody civil war as Saudi and Iran-backed militias face-off for control of the country. It has been plagued by airstrikes, famine, and a severe outbreak of cholera. Former President Ali Abdullah Saleh was killed this month by Houthi rebels. Yet, the country’s government found time to sponsor the resolution condemning the U.S.  Yemen’s representative condemned Trump’s decision, declaring it “null and void” and a “blatant violation of the rights of the Palestinian people.” He also called it a “serious threat” to stability and peace in the world.

Cuba, the government of which routinely commits such flagrant abuses of human rights that its people are often found risking their lives on homemade rafts trying to cross the waters to the United States of America in search of freedom. The Castro regime, via Ambassador Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, condemned the alleged “serious and flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter, of international law and of the relevant UN resolutions” by the U.S. and Israel.

Iran, a country that has been working extremely hard in its continuing effort to destabilize the Middle East in its push for nuclear weapons, support for Islamic terrorists, and its use of Yemen as a proxy war against Saudi Arabia. But Ambassador Gholamali Khoshroo tore into the U.S. and Israel.  He accused Israel of “criminal” practices, and accused the U.S. of having “acted against the will of the international community.”

Yet despite the protests of the above countries, as well as others such as China and the Palestinian leadership, the U.S. remained defiant.  It was our stellar Ambassador Nikki Haley who said, “America will put our embassy in Jerusalem, that is what the American people want us to do, and it is the right thing to do.”  She added, “No vote at the United Nations will make any difference on that, but this vote will make a difference on how Americans look at the U.N. and on how we look at countries who disrespect us in the U.N. and this vote will be remembered.”

I’ve lost count of the number of times I have said that the U.S. should remove itself from this corrupt organization and remove it from our soil.  It is to our shame that this country remains a member of this brood of vipers.  President Trump should seriously consider taking such action.  Imagine how it would make the liberal heads catch on fire and how fun that would be to watch.  And for as long as I can remember, and probably for much longer, American Liberals be they in politics, academia, the media types or Hollyweird, ALWAYS take the side of our enemies.

Because it would seem that Liberals, Commies, Islamists, and Murdering despots all across the globe are united in three things.  One is their desire for autocratic power and wealth and a willingness to do absolutely anything to get that which it is that they seek. Two is their hatred of Israel, perhaps the purest form of hate imaginable, and yet, three, it is a hate that is dwarfed only by their hatred of America.  These brothers-in-arms are, quite literally, consumed by their hate, and they are driven by it.  And it is their shared goal to being an end to America, 

It is way beyond time for America to take all of our money out of the U.N. and evict the tenants and take possession of OUR, the taxpayer, valuable real estate. Then expel all of these "illegal" immigrants that were occupying said building(s).  If America chooses to takes a hard stance and follow through with the power of withholding billions in aid and defense funds, for these treasonous countries/hypocrites that voted against the USA/Israel on this matter, I would bet you they would become a bit more willing to around to our way of thinking, or simply self-vacate!

Look, when countries like Venezuela and North Korea start telling us what to do, it’s time to get out of the United Nations.  Over the years this organization has increasingly become little more than a joke.  We MUST cut off 100 percent of the financial aid to any and every country that refuses to side with us. It’s time to quit being stupid about trying to get other countries to like us.  Who cares what these deviants say?  The United States has always placed its embassies in the capital cities of each country with which we have diplomatic missions.  Why stop now? 

DEMOCRAT CHRIS VAN HOLLEN HAS A RATHER PECULIAR TAKE ON THE TAX CUT BILL…

When trying to decide who it is, exactly, that’s the biggest empty-headed twit within the Democrat Party it has become increasingly more difficult, of late, to identify just who that might be.  But two of the leading contenders now vying for the honor would have to be that dimwit from California, Adam Schiff, in the House, who apparently thinks a Russian was hiding behind every voting booth and forcing folks to vote for Trump, and his intellectual equal over in the Senate, Chris Van Hollen from Maryland.  

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” it was this boob Van Hollen who actually tried to make the argument that companies announcing they’ll give out bonuses, hire more folks, and invest more after the passage of the Republican tax bill, are doing so as, now get this, “a PR stunt.”  A PR stunt?  Just how much of a rabid ideologue, and leftwing kook, must one be in order to come to such a blatantly political conclusion as that?  Van Hollen said, “I think they are doing it as a PR stunt.”

And he went on to say, “These are some one-time bonuses, sounds very nice, but that was not what was promised. What was promised was a $4,000-a-year pay increase into the base. And that is why you see union members going to these corporations and saying, ‘Look, thanks for the one-time bonus, but that is not what was promised as part of this tax cut.’ So, at the same time, you see those one-time bonuses, in the last couple weeks, you’ve seen reported $87 billion in stock buybacks.”

And then this hapless boob added, “So, that’s money going to the shareholders. And I want to remind people that 35% of those stockholders are foreign stockholders. And so, in the year 2019, $48 billion is going to go into the pockets of foreign stockholders, coming out of the pockets of millions of middle class taxpayers.”  I think what really has this guy’s panties in a wad is the fact the Democrats have been proven to be frauds when it comes to their claim of caring for working class Americans.

Because let’s face it, Barry and Hitlery surrounded themselves with so many corporate donors that it was difficult at times to determine who was actually running things. If anything, Barry was giving tax breaks to himself and to his inner circle.  And don't even get me started on that 2% annual GDP growth under Barry.  Moreover, any tax cuts made under Barry were completely wasted by the ridiculous premiums that he was requiring everyone to pay for under his health insurance scam.

And since President Trump’s arrival on the scene we have had 3% annual GDP growth for three consecutive quarters, we now have more Americans in the workforce than ever before and the stock market gained 5000 points in a single year for the first time in history.  Also, we heard earlier this week how several large corporations have announced expansion plans here at home and are also now giving out bonuses to their employees all thanks to the recently passed Republican tax plan.

And a $220 Million dollar PR stunt going into the pockets of their employees is one Hell of a good publicity stunt that I’m sure their employees will appreciate.  What this classless moron seems not want to talk about is the reinvestment in facilities that companies are discussing and the wage increases they are promising.  Also if a company buys back its stock from foreign investors, what it means is that more future dividends will tend to go to stockholders who are Americans rather than overseas.

Anyway, what Van Hollen insists upon spreading here is nothing more than your typical Democrat talking points the purpose of which is to exaggerate any negatives while ignoring completely all of the positives.  And it's a lack of business acumen possessed by those on the left, and their willingness to lie about almost anything, that inhibits their understanding.  I mean what we have here is a cadre of career politicians pretending to know all that is required to run a successful business.

And what he fails to note, or chooses to ignore, is that Americans own a full 75% of all the stock listed on ALL stock exchanges throughout the world. A huge amount of stock is owned by pension funds and they prosper when the stock market goes up--which it does when companies get to keep more of the money they’ve earned. And that helps all those millions of ordinary boomers who are getting ready to retire.  So either he’s lying, or he needs to go back to school and take a course in basic economics.

And what’s really sad here is that for decades the Democrats have claimed to be the defender of working class Americans and yet it’s Democrats, like this jerk Van Hollen, who absolutely cannot stand the fact that the American worker is finally going to have a little more cash in his/her pocket next year and beyond.  And it’s not because of anything the Democrats did, but what they actually tried very hard to keep from happening.  And whether they pay a price for that is yet to be determined.

LATEST DEMOCRAT SLOGAN FOR 2018: “A VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS IS A VOTE FOR HIGHER TAXES”…

I would argue that it is nowhere on the entire planet that you could find a bigger, more determined, and more dedicated bunch of liars than those politicians who operate under the banner of the Democrat Party and who continue to run roughshod over a segment of our population whose IQ, when added all together, would result in a collective IQ somewhere in the very lowest of single digits.  That segment of the population who likes to so very proudly refer to themselves as Democrats.  You know, you’ve seen them.  They would be the ones with the idiotic little bumper-sticker, on whatever rolling piece of shit they happen to drive, that says, “Proud Democrat.”  

And so it was then that shortly before the Senate passed the new tax cut bill 51-48, that we were witness to what was little more than an act of pure dishonesty when we heard from one of the more devoted leftists in his party as he made what was a rather bold prediction.  You see, it was Sen. Chris Murphy, Democrat, who, in trying to pull off his best Nostradamus impersonation, actually predicted that Republicans “will probably lose the House and the Senate” in 2018 because of the Republican tax reform bill, and Murphy also said that “absolutely” the Democrats will try to overturn the tax legislation if they do regain control of Congress after the midterm elections.

It was one of MSNBC's many resident Trump haters, Rachel Maddow, who asked Murphy this past Tuesday night, “If your prediction is right and Democrats do take the House and Senate after the midterm elections, do you think that Democrats would try to overturn this bill?"  To which Murphy replied, “Absolutely!”  Murphy then went on to say, “We have to, given the assault that's occurring here, especially on the East and the West Coast. I would hope that we would take a look at the entirety of the bill. Listen, the corporations in my state, they wanted a corporate tax cut, but none of them were expecting to have the corporate tax rate dropped to 20 percent.”

Murphy said, “They would have been thrilled if they got the tax rate below 30 percent. And so there is plenty of room to go back into this bill to make up some money and return it to the middle class or the working class that's losing out here.  And went on to say, “And of course what we haven't talked about is the repeal of the individual mandate which is going to increase everybody's premiums by 10 percent, compounding every year. So that conveniently in year seven of this bill, your premiums will have doubled and your standard deduction will have gone back to its previous levels.”  The same sort of gibberish we always hear from those on the left.

Naturally the Republicans disagree with Murphy’s blatantly ideological assessment of the new tax bill saying that it most certainly will deliver tax cuts to the middle class, and low-income people may end up paying no tax at all.  And some higher-income earners in high-tax states who normally itemize deductions may end up paying more.  And really, I think it says far more about the Democrats than it does the Republicans in that not one Democrat was willing to vote for this bill.  Democrats want to do nothing that either makes or current president look good, or that might result in bringing our economy back to life after eight years of having a Democrat president.

And it was while speaking on ABC's "Good Morning America" Wednesday morning, House Speaker Paul Ryan said skeptics have been “hit on their TV screens” by confusing media coverage saying that the tax bill will benefit only the rich.  Ryan said, “So I think when people actually see that instead of getting tax increases, they're getting tax cuts; when they see the withholding tables changing in February and seeing more money in their paychecks; when they're seeing the economic growth that will result from historic tax reform, I think minds are going to change, and I think people are going to change their view on this.”

If there is a change of who’s in charge of Congress next year, I disagree that this tax bill will be what brings it about.  But that’s not to say that I am confident that come January 2019 it will be the Republicans who will still be running things.  Because if the Republicans do come to lose control of Congress next year it will be because they decided to push forward in their quest for amnesty for those in this country illegally.  That’s why they could lose.  Meanwhile Murphy can make all the noise he wants to about overturning the recent tax cuts, because President Trump, who will be in office through 2020 would still have to sign it.  And I just don't see him doing that.

Murphy is nothing if not proof that the Democrats still refuse to admit that the tax revenue acquired by the government is OUR revenue.  And it is not theirs to spend however they please.  We the people earn that money by WORKING very hard for it.  Despite all of this moron’s claims, the tax reform bill WILL come to benefit working class Americans when the economy booms as expected (and it will).  And when that happens the chances of Democrats winning much of anything will decrease.  I look forward to seeing their pitiful expressions the day after the mid-terms. The same expressions we saw from them when President Trump was declared the winner.

And while many on the left persist in making the claim that our current “booming economy” began in June 2009 during the Obummer era, that’s hardly the case.  And it only serves to make all the more clear the alternate universe that they must be living in.  How else could they be talking about an eight year stretch of time during which growth in the Gross Domestic Product never got over 2% as a “booming economy?”  Or the eight year period during which the labor force participation rate stayed at its lowest level since the Great Depression?  Or maybe the eight year period in which the Dow grew at only 3.6% per year?  Booming?  Hardly!  It was considered anemic at best.

And all of the endless doom and gloom, heard from Democrats like Murphy, regarding the new tax bill is already being proven to be nothing more than wishful thinking on the part of those very same Democrats.  We’ve already begun to witness the effects that it will have on our economy, it’s going to take off.  And when people start to see some extra money in their pay check, they will be blown away.  And that’s really what has the Democrats terrified.  They are always on the wrong side of tax reform because it peels away at their power.  Let’s face it, there has never been a Democrat who didn't get some level of enjoyment out of spending other people’s money.

Lastly, it is becoming very clear that the Democrats now think that a very large segment of Americans are pretty stupid and actually enjoy paying taxes that are too high.  And since there is nothing that prevents one from paying more in taxes if they wish to, why is it that Democrats, or anyone on the left, never seems willing to do that?  Democrats keep working against those things that would bolster this country and its citizens out of pure hatred of our President.  People with any sense see what's happening, the sham that Democrats are ‘working for their constituents’ has been exposed and could very well come back to bite them in their rather sizable butts.

ALL THAT CRAP ABOUT PAYING ONE’S FAIR SHARE IS JUST THAT, CRAP!!!

When it comes to the topic of income taxes, we’re always hearing from the Democrats about the importance of everyone paying their “fair share.”  But rarely do we ever hear anyone, Democrat or Republican, explain exactly what one’s fair share might be.  But I have a very hard time believing that ANYONE’S fair share should be zero.  And yet, of the 150,493,263 filers who submitted individual income tax returns to the Internal Revenue Service for the 2015 tax year, only 99,040,729 paid any income tax at all.  So it would seem that some folks’ share is more ‘fair’ than others.

And together those Americans paid a record $1,457,891,441,000 in total income taxes, for an average of $14,720 per taxpayer.  The other 51,452,534, or about 34 percent of all filers, did not pay a penny.  Their average income tax payment was $0.  This is a fundamental divide in the American tax system.  On one side are those who do pay taxes; on the other, those who don't.  But the divide gets worse because there were 30,417,609 filers who while they did not pay any income taxes they still managed to receive $89,614,869,000 in cash back from the federal government.

In other words, those folks essentially received $89,614,869,000 in ‘free’ money.  We know this because the IRS tells us so.  The IRS calls this nearly $90 Billion in cash that the federal government paid to tax-return filers who paid no taxes the “refundable portion” of “refundable credits.”  They explained it in their report on the individual income taxes it collected for 2015 that, “Refundable credits were broken out into three parts: the portion used to offset income tax before credits, the portion used to offset all other taxes, and the refundable portion.”  Typical IRS mumbo-jumbo.

This IRS report said, “In total, taxpayers claimed $105.3 billion in refundable tax credits.” Adding, “Of this, $5.7 billion was applied against income taxes and $10.0 billion against all other taxes. The remaining $89.6 billion in refundable credits was refunded to taxpayers.”  That is to say it was “refunded” to “taxpayers” who paid no income taxes.  And this was not a boon for the “rich.”  According to data published in the report, 27,786,931, or about 91 percent, of the 30,417,609 tax-return filers who did get a “refundable portion” had an adjusted gross income of less than $40,000.  

So who was it that actually ended up paying the taxes the federal government needed in order to send that $89,614,669,000 to those 30,417,609 who paid no income tax at all?  One major contributor was a group that the IRS refers to as “married persons filing jointly.”  In 2015, again according to the IRS report, 54,294,820 belonged to this group, with 41,551,043 joining the side who did pay taxes, and 12,743,777 joining the side who did not.  Thus, while 34 percent of all filers paid no income taxes, only 24 percent of married couples filing jointly paid no income taxes. 

The 41,551,043 married couples filing jointly who did pay income taxes accounted for only 28 percent of all 150,493,263 filers.  But they made up about 42 percent of the 99,040,729 filers who did pay income taxes.  More tellingly, of the record $1,457,891,441,000 in total income taxes the IRS collected for tax year 2015, married couples filing jointly paid $1,040,684,097,000 of it, or about 71 percent.  So, married couples filing jointly constituted only 42 percent of filers who actually paid income taxes, but they paid 71 percent of the income taxes.

These 41,551,043 taxpaying married couples paid an average of about $25,046 in federal income taxes in 2015.  Now, some may say: But there are two people in a married couple who file jointly; of course they should pay more taxes than a single person.  But did single people filing tax returns pay half as much as married couples? The IRS says 71,086,947 single persons filed tax returns in 2015.  Of these, 23,345,062, or 33 percent, paid no income tax.  The 47,741,885 who did, paid $326,342,729,000.  That’s an average of about $6,836 per taxpaying single person. 

At that rate, it would take 3.66 taxpaying singles to surrender to the federal government the same income tax as one taxpaying married couple.  The bottom line here is that the federal government is financially dependent on income tax-paying married couples who jointly file their tax returns, and it has made 30,417,609 filers who pay no income taxes dependent on government by handing them $89,614,669,000 in a single year.  It’s very little that seems to be all that fair about this arrangement, but that said there seems to be no one the least bit interested in changing it.

And unfortunately, the recently passed tax bill does nothing to correct any of this.  It still pays $1400 refunds to the many welfare loafers who don’t pay any taxes, because they don't work and don't own any house/land so they don't pay any property taxes, which support the schools who feed their fatherless kids with free government cheese and hands them the latest laptop on which to play computer games, while they watch cable TV in their taxpayer funded apartments.  And mommy is still allowed to vote for the politician who promises her the most ‘free’ stuff because she's ‘entitled.’

So work harder all you married, responsible people, the ‘poor’ are depending on you to give them all they have and never worked for.  But hey, it would seem that that is what has now become the new normal.  After all, why would any of those who have grown rather accustomed to their free ride EVER vote for anyone who talked about having them actually pay their fair share instead of mooching off the rest of us.  Plus the Democrats now have folks thoroughly convinced that they are entitled to their free ride because they are somehow to be considered as victims of an unfair society.    

And lastly, it was shortly before the Senate passed the new tax bill 51-48, that we heard from one of the nuttier leftwing kooks in the Senate, on the Democrat side, Chris Murphy, who made the claim that the Republicans “will probably lose the House and the Senate” in 2018 because of the Republican tax reform bill.  And Murphy said “absolutely,” Democrats will try to overturn the tax legislation if they do regain control of Congress in the midterm elections.  So as far as I’m concerned that’s but one more reason on an already very long list of many why not to vote Democrat!

BLACKS JUST CANNOT BRING THEMSELVES TO LEAVE THE PLANTATION…

I’m sure that many of you will remember how it was while on the campaign trail that then candidate Donald Trump asked black Americans, who have been voting solidly Democrat for decades and getting little in return for their votes, what they had to lose by voting for him.  And it was just 8% of black voters who decided to take him up on that challenge while the remainder of black voters decided to stick with the same tired, old and rather worn out horse by voting for Hitlery.

And now, according the Bureau of Labor Statistics( BLS), over the course of the last year the unemployment rate for black Americans is at the lowest it has been since the year 2000, 17 years ago.  In November, the national unemployment rate for black Americans, ages 16 and over, was 7.3%.  The last time it was 7.3% was in the year 2000, during the months September, October and November.  So might the 8 % of blacks who chose to vote for President Trump been right?

Anyway, it was back during the Bush and Barry ‘O’ years (2001-2016) that the black unemployment rate typically fluctuated somewhere between a low of 7.7% and a high of 16.8%.  And then as recently as this past September, the rate was 7.0%, a low that had not been seen since April of 2000.  Prior to that, going all the way back to 1972, the black unemployment rate never fell below 7.0% and was largely in the double digits throughout the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. 

All of which, I would argue, begs the question, might this be enough for more blacks to at least consider leaving the Democrat plantation to which they seem to have become so accustomed to living on?  Barry ‘O’ told blacks that they should get used to this new normal of having no job and for being completely dependent on government.  But it was then candidate Trump who said that he wanted ALL Americans to be able to succeed be they black, white and brown.  And he’s succeeding.

Let’s face it, anyone with half a brain has to know that the Democrat Party of 2017 is nothing more than the modern day version of the plantation owners of days past.  These people have figured out how to get blacks, and other minorities, to willingly enter into that which is nothing more than a new form of slavery, but slavery just the same.  Blacks vote for those who systemically prevent them from achieving prosperity and promise them all manner of charity.  Essentially they ‘OWN’ them.

And despite the fact that it’s easy for most us to see that the Democrats have officially ditched the blacks for illegals, the black don’t yet seem to have figured that out. Because the Democrats couldn't get blacks to go along with gay marriage, illegals or Moslems; especially the whole gay marriage thing, they just cut them out.  And yet still the blacks remained stupid enough to vote Democrat.  So were they right about the average intelligence of blacks after all?

So why was Barry ‘O’, our first black president, unable to bring down the unemployment rate of blacks?  Well, for one thing he was pretty much focused on demonizing and punishing the wealthy and was determined not to a give a tax cut to anyone.  And either he never understood, or chose to ignore the fact, that it’s from the wealthy, that you get jobs.  Add then he compounded the entire problem by growing government, which took even more money from the job creators.  

I feel pretty confident in saying that one of the scariest things for the Democrat Party is a booming economy.  Because that means there will be fewer people on welfare, fewer people eating from the hand of the Democrat power brokers, fewer people needing Democrats in their lives.  Democrats’ measure their worth by how many people are suffering, the more who suffer, the more worthy they feel.  A thriving middle-class is the biggest enemy of the Democrat Party.

Those leftists voting for more government to take care of them are quite literally trading away their independence in exchange for government dependence.  Most never come to understand the concept that what the government giveth, the government can also take away whenever it wants and for whatever reason it may chose.  You're voting to be owned.  You can blame the masters, but when I see a leftist voter, I see someone who is enthusiastic about becoming a slave.

There are those who can't wait to vote for politicians who will keep the people down so that they can keep promising help every 2-4 years allowing them to build and to maintain their political power. Intellectual honesty and critical thinking go a long way, but only if you're willing to engage your brain.  Simply ask who it is that stands to benefit from a high unemployment rate and increasing dependence on the government and there’s only one answer.  The Democrat Party!

It’s a FACT that liberal policies, over the last 40–50 years, have led to a progressive breakdown in the standard of living among black Americans.  The single biggest factor in this is the steadily growing number of single-parent households (particularly among blacks - but not exclusive to them) accompanied by the lack of parental responsibility (typically by the father) as evidenced by the absence of engagement in the upbringing, and the lack of financial support, of children they have sired.

That is what feeds the “cycle of dependence” that has absolutely ravaged the black community – and liberal policies are responsible for 98% of the mess.  The short solution here is a relatively simple one.  Admittedly it’s grossly oversimplified – but undeniably true.  If you don’t intend on remaining in a relationship (e.g. marriage) AND remaining actively engaged in raising a child then either abstain from sex or take responsibility for yourself and employ birth control.

If you can’t afford to raise a child to adulthood then don’t have a child.  If you’re going to become a parent then for God’s sake, BE A PARENT.  Don’t dump your responsibilities onto the public. The government is the worst business manager in America, but it’s even worse at raising children.  President Trump’s goal is to “Make America Great Again”, and not just for the white folks.  For EVERYBODY!  Democrats want just the opposite, but for everyone but themselves. 

But one of the sad truths here is that after decades of voting 95+% for Democrats, those in the black community have now effectively reduced themselves to being little more than political pawns and useful idiots.  Their inner city illiteracy rates often exceed 50%, black unemployment is two to three times surrounding communities, and Obummer’s “open borders” policy has made that much worse.  And yet we still be blacks, every election, still voting for Democrats in droves.

Add to that the fact that the Department of Justice statistics say that blacks were charged with 62% of all robberies, 57% of murders and 45% of assaults in the 75 largest U.S. counties though they made up roughly 15% of the population there.  And 64% of all police deaths on the job are caused by blacks.  Blacks have set records for government dependency, for fatherless families and high unemployment rates which all have their roots in the liberal policies of those who blacks vote for.

And now, with the rocketing upswing of shootings and deaths since Ferguson, Democrats have much more to answer for than just the consequences of a greedy and selfish political posture.  Look toward the most dysfunctional, dependent and murderous communities in the country and you will find decades of control by corrupt and self-serving Democrat Party politicians.  And it is they who serve as our best example of why we should never elect another Democrat to public office.

Obummer averaged a 1.075% GDP growth, while President Trump is already over 3%. The best thing for all of us, including those in the black community, will be continued GDP growth, jobs growth, rising wages, lower taxes, etc.  That said, blacks tend to have some of the least amount of skills needed for employment in our current economy, so it only makes sense that they would be the last to reap the benefits of overall low unemployment.  That’s where the focus needs to be.

BERNIE SANDERS, NO FAN OF TAX CUTS…

Can we, at least, all agree that the last thing, and I do mean the VERY last thing, that the Democrat Party wishes to see happen in this country, is for our economy to start booming? And despite the fact that I am by no means an economist, it would seem to be the most obvious form of commonsense that what’s good for American corporations is also good for the American workers employed by those corporations.  Simple economic commonsense, that socialists continue to very loudly deny.

And can we also all agree that in the real world corporations don't pay taxes, their customers do.  And, as is always the case, the Democrats think that we can somehow tax our way out of a hole, a hole, that I might add, that they are the ones primarily responsible for digging, although they have had some help from our cadre of RINOs.  It’s that same sort of logic that was right up there with Obummer’s notion that we could somehow borrow our way out of debt, and spend our way to prosperity.

Now it would seem to me that if corporations were to get a tax break, they would then invest any surplus into growing their businesses, which equates to more jobs.  Since you’d be hard pressed to find a Democrat who’s ever actually run a business, they believe that if a business has more money they’ll simply pass that along in the form of higher dividends.  While I suppose some might, it’s far more likely that many would choose to hire more people, build new plants, as well as give higher dividends.

And nothing makes how the Democrats view the entire concept of corporate taxes any clearer more than a statement made by that self-described Socialist, Bernie Sanders, this past Sunday during an appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”  It was then that old Bernie made the rather bold declaration that if the Democrats are successful in their effort to retake control of the Senate as a result of the 2018 midterms elections, there certain would be an effort made to ensure the corporate tax rate would go up. 

It was the show’s host, John Dickerson, who asked Bernie, “If the Democrats take control are corporate taxes going up?  To which Bernie responded, “I think we’ll take a very hard look at this entire tax bill and make it a tax bill that works for the middle class and working families not for the top 1 percent and large multi-national corporations.”  And as is usually the case that Bernie leaves completely out of the conversation is how President Trump would be unlikely to sign such a measure.

Dickerson who then went on to say, “There’s no question that in order to achieve all of the things you want, taxes are going to have to go up on corporations if they’re down to 21 as a result of this legislation you can’t find the money anywhere where else.”  Sanders again responded, “Absolutely, yes.  In my view, absolutely.”   The liberal economic policies favored by Sanders implemented over the course of the last eight years resulted in an annual economic growth that never topped 1.5 percent.

And let’s also not forget the fact that it was Barry, with much help from his many ‘establishment’ friends on both sides of the aisle, who was primarily responsible for getting us $10 Trillion further in the hole than we were when he got there and for our middle class essentially dying on the vine.  But hey, welfare and illegal immigration was up!  And there you have it, Socialism at its absolute finest.  And yet, Bernie can look us dead in the eye and defend this sort of insanity with a straight face, no less.  

I guess what really bothers me about the tax bill is that the corporate tax cuts do not go into effect until 2019 after the midterms which allows time for those on the left to convince the people that the tax cuts aren't working.  If only they had made the tax cuts retroactive, people would see the money this spring and make it impossible for the left’s lies to take hold. BIG mistake in my opinion.  And what always amazes me the most is when a Democrat says “pay their fair share.”  Think about that one.

Fair would be each and every taxpayer paying the same percentage of whatever has been earned.  Nine percent all around would be fair share for all.  God demands ten percent, so for the government to demand more would mean they rate themselves as being more worthy than God.  The Democrats do not want anyone to understand economics.  Either they have no concept that corporations pass along taxes in the price model for their goods and services, or they’re simply lying.  Guess which one. 

What’s really going on here regarding the Democrats’ rather loud and defiant opposition to these tax cuts is that they are scared to death that these cuts are going to work.  I'm still waiting for a Democrat to come out and explain how it is that their agenda (higher taxes, amnesty for illegals while maintaining open borders, Moslem sympathizers, government run health care, weak defense, war on energy, bathroom police, abortion on demand, gun confiscation, etc.) makes for a better America.

Look, Sanders, like every other Democrat, is little more than pond scum, because we know, just like the rest of his Democrat friends, he wants nothing more than to raise taxes across the board and put the government in complete charge of every aspect of American society.  And what is truly frightening is that there now seems to be a growing number of ‘American’ people who apparently have no problem with that.  But I most certainly have a problem with that, a very big problem!  And you should too!

JIM ‘FAKE NEWS’ ACOSTA, WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, JUST MAKE STUFF UP…

So riddle me this.  When is it that ‘news’ ceases to be ‘news’ and becomes nothing but propaganda in the purest form?  And is it any wonder that it’s nearly every day that we hear just how little faith the majority of the American people now have in those who are still somehow see themselves as being the ‘watchdogs of our democracy”?  And it’s also, with each passing day, that we have those who routinely describe themselves as ‘journalists’, all vying to see just who it is that can tell the biggest whopper and therefore come out looking like the biggest hack.

And it was as recent as yesterday that that well-known purveyor of ‘fake news’, the Crappy News Network’s Jim Acosta, in an effort to spread a bit more fake news, actually went so far as to claim America has witnessed “1,552 mass shootings” since the heinous attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School.  This means Acosta is now claiming that an average of approximately 310 mass shootings a year for each of the past five years.  It’s important to note that he attempts to bolster this claim via information provided by a tracking site sponsored by, wait for it, gun controllers.

And it that specific tracking site, the Gun Violence Archive, that diverges from FBI definition of a mass shooting as four fatalities or more in one incident so as to include shootings in which no fatalities occur.  Acosta Tweeted: Since Sandy Hook there have been at least 1,552 mass shootings, with at least 1,767 people killed and 6,227 wounded.  Acosta is not the only boob to use such numbers, other members of the left have been spewing similar numbers for years. At times, their claims have gotten so outlandish that even members of their own circles have called them out for it.

For example, in December 2015 it was reported that Mother Jones’ editor Mark Follman called out his fellow leftists for claiming “355 mass shootings” in that calendar year alone.  Mr. Follman published a column in the New York Times, which said:  At Mother Jones, where I work as an editor, we have compiled an in-depth open-source database covering more than three decades of public mass shootings. By our measure, there have been four “mass shootings” this year, including the one in San Bernardino, and at least 73 such attacks since 1982.

And as a bit of a sidenote here, I think it’s worth mentioning that when using the actual FBI definition of mass shootings, Mr. Follman could only find four mass shootings for the entire year, yet leftists were claiming that 355 had occurred.  Think about it this way, it’s easy to swell the number of car accidents recorded for a given year if butterflies hitting the windshield are counted as an accident.  Moreover, it’s easy to swell the number of falls recorded every year if stumbling without actually falling is counting as a fall nonetheless.  That’s the methodology used by the left.

Because it’s in the same way that it becomes easy to swell the number of mass shootings if the definition of mass shooting is changed so as to include street crimes in which no one is killed or by including the life of the attacker in the reported number of deaths resulting from an alleged shooting. The Gun Violence Archive does both of these things in their effort to skew the numbers and Acosta’s tweet ultimately rests on that approach in making the claim that “1552 mass shootings” during the past five years.  This is the same kind of ‘fake news’ that he and his network are famous for.

Those on the left simply make up numbers to fit their agenda and it’s not only regarding supposed gun violence, it’s for everything.  And unfortunately, a lot of sheeple who essentially suck at math actually buy into the nonsense, which is exactly what these propagandists are hoping for.  It reminds me of the Dentyne commercial from a few years ago that claimed the average person spends 20,000 minutes of their life kissing someone else. That's 330 hours, equivalent to 8 work weeks. Nothing to prove it, nothing to back it up....just throw it out there as fact.

And we shouldn’t be all that surprised by the blatant attempt by those on the left to deceive.  After all, disinformation has been a long standing tradition of Marxists, Nazis, as well as every leftwing organization out there!  If they make a claim, it doesn't have to be factual!  It simply has to be repeated over and over again until it’s ‘believed’ to be factual!  It's really a shame that those in the media today refuse to do the job they are supposed to do. They don't give us the unvarnished facts, they slant them! They are not really ‘journalists’, they’re propagandists!

Gun control/confiscation elites, like old Jim, all live in gated communities/buildings with security guards that are armed with GUNS and they send their darling children to private schools with security that again is armed with GUNS, and they work in buildings that have guards yet again armed with GUNS.  That’s why so many of them as seen as hypocrites, because they do not or will not follow the rules that they wish to set for the rest of us.  Personally, if their goal is to prevent me from being able to protect me and my family, then they too should also lose that right.

Only, these can get the special permits and permissions because they’re all members of what has come to be termed as our ruling class of elites. This is the Rosie O’Donnell hypocrisy syndrome; these elites get to have their bodyguards armed with GUNS to protect them where ever they go.  But I, and all the other common folk, have to be corralled into gun free zones and therefore forced into having to run the risk of being shot at by criminals and/or crazies.  And so yet again, it’s these pathetic frauds who are proven to be little more than the worst kind of hypocrites.      

When you have an agenda that you are determined to keep alive, by any means necessary, then you will likely attempt to do so by using whatever means you have at your disposal, no matter how devious, to justify your position.  Acosta is far from being a credible source when it comes to providing corroboration for a storyline.  He will stoop to whatever level is required for him in his quest to find the necessary data that he can bastardize so that it appears to support his cockamamie position. You know he knows better, but he simply can't help himself.

And it’s just those in the media.  Remember back when shortly after Rep. Steve Scalise and others were wounded by a gunman that then governor Terry McAuliffe, when asked by a reporter at a press conference on the scene of the shooting, what more could be done to protect congressmen after Louisiana?  This lying sack of shit said, “We need to do more to protect all of our citizens. I have long advocated — this is not what today is about — but there are too many guns on the street.” And then went on to confidently assert, “We lose 93 million Americans a day to gun violence.”

So I guess the moral of my little story is that folks should always take whatever it is that they are being told by those on the left with a rather sizable grain of salt.  You must always assume that they are lying to you, at least until you have taken the time to do the necessary research to satisfy, in your own mind, that what you’re being told to true.  Keep in mind that that which was once referred to as the ‘mainstream media’ today no longer exists.  The media has always slanted to the left, but over the course of the last 10 years it has been reduced to being little more than a joke.
