IN THEIR EFFORT TO RACE EVEN FURTHER TO THE LEFT, WILL DEMOCRATS RACE RIGHT OVER THE CLIFF???

There has been much talk, of late, about what has become a growing list of the less than impressive Democrats ready to face off against President Trump in 2020.  In truth it consists of little more than an odd assortment of those leftist usual suspects, most of whom reside on the far left of the political spectrum.  Which, of course, is something that should come as no surprise since it’s these days that the Democrat Party has now come to be considered home for just about every leftwing kook in the country.  And it’s with each passing day that the party slips even further left.

And most recently it was a failed U.S. Senate candidate from Texas who managed to top a new MoveOn straw poll for potential 2020 Democrat Party presidential candidates. According to NBC, “An early straw poll of members of the progressive group MoveOn.org shows a wide-open competition for liberal voters in the 2020 Democratic presidential contest, with Rep. Beto O’Rourke narrowly beating out former Vice President Joe Biden.” ‘Beto’ won 15.9 percent of the vote to ‘Creepy Joe’s’ 14.9 percent, while “undecided” garnered 30 percent.

O’Rourke, whose full name is Robert Francis O’Rourke, who uses “Beto” as his way of trying to appeal to Latino voters, apparently met with ex-president Barry ‘O’ in mid-November, a sign that points to him making a presidential bid come 2020.  And ‘Beto’s’ father-in-law is a billionaire who, or so we’re told, spent a record $80 Million in ‘Beto’s’ losing bid to unseat Sen. Rafael “Ted” Cruz in the midterm elections.  Also it was ‘Beto’ who also placed in the top three in another recent poll, a Harvard/Harris poll, coming in behind ‘Creepy Joe’ and Bernie ‘the Socialist.’

Also it was also reported by NBC that, “The three men were followed by Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., who garnered 10 percent support, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., with 6.4 percent.”  And the network went on to say, “Meanwhile, three Democratic senators, Sherrod Brown of Ohio, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Cory Booker of New Jersey, and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg were each selected by about 3 percent of members.”  So as we can plainly see, most of those now being talked as possible candidates are clearly of the leftwing persuasion.

That said, the Democrats continue to search for something on which they can run after basing their entire 2018 campaign on what was nothing more a platform of Trump hatred and banking on the historical norm of a first term president losing seats in Congress.  But soon they’re going to have to decide if that’s the shtick that they wish to stay with going forward, or instead perhaps choose to go with an ex-vice president, a socialist who ran a strong primary campaign in 2015 and 2106, or even go with a newer, fresher face that lacks any kind of a proven track record.

And I feel confident in saying that there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that whomever the Democrats may eventually choose to run against President Trump in 2020 he, or she, will be someone from the left, and very proudly so.  And I only say that because all of those who have thus far expressed an interest in running are hardcore leftists.  And it is as such that I seriously doubt that any of them are genuinely concerned about working class Americans and the plight they are always made to face because of policies continually dreamt up by leftist Democrats.

And while I hate to be sounding like the proverbial broken record, the sad truth is that we have unfortunately now allowed ourselves in this country, to arrive at a place where each and every election now plays an increasingly important, even crucial, role regarding our ability to survive as free, prosperous and sovereign nation.  And so the rather precarious situation in which we now find ourselves, constitutionally speaking, is really nothing more than the very worst kind of self-inflicted calamity. And if we continue to elect Democrats, matters will only continue to worsen.
