ON THE SUBJECT OF 2016 AND IMMIGRATION…

When this process first got started I had some pretty high hopes for Rick Perry, and then when he flamed out, I must admit, I became somewhat infatuated with ‘The Donald’.  And while it’s true he’s an outsider who has not yet been tainted by having spent much time within the beltway, I must admit that with the passage of time the bloom has now, to some degree, come off the rose.  And with his mention of a ‘Deportation Force’ I think he continues to detract from his potential as a serious candidate.

And while I am not a fan of Chris Christie, his idea of fining employers who knowingly hire those in this country illegally makes much more sense.  I mean, why is it that we cannot simply enforce those immigration laws that are already on the books?  If we simply make it too difficult for those here illegally to find meaningful employment, most, but likely not all, will go back to where they came from.  But obviously, as long as Barry “Almighty” is in the White House, and if Hiterly gets elected, that ain’t gonna happen.

And I will also let it be known that I not only voted for Marco Rubio for Senator, but I also gave his campaign some money.  My only excuse being that it was more out of not wanting Charlie Crist than actually wanting Rubio.  And of course it didn’t take long for Senator Rubio to show his true colors once he arrived in Washington, as he was only too happy to ally himself with Chuck Schumer as part of the “Gang of Eight.”  And he can still be heard pushing those very same policies that this ‘gang’ came up with.

And then of course we have the blatant immigration panderers, Bush and Kasich, aka the Dupp boys, Dick and Jack.  I think we can all agree that neither of these fellas is the least bit interested in addressing our illegal immigration problem in any meaningful way.  Their solution to the problem is to simply wave their magic wand and to allow those here illegally to stay.  Presto, we have millions of new Democrats!  Now how much sense does that make?  These two just come across as rather desperate.

And now to Dr. Carson, who I respect as being a genuinely good man.  But try as I might, I simply don’t see him as president.  While he is the near perfect role model, and very clearly demonstrates just what is possible to achieve because of the opportunities this country provides to its citizens, regardless of how left laments the unfairness of ‘the system’, I fear that he may not be up to the task of dealing with the problems this country now faces, and on nearly every front, after eight years of Barry.

Which, I guess, brings me to Senator Ted Cruz.  Now granted, like Barry, his too is a one term senator.  But to be honest, I think that that is where the similarities between these two men end, and rather abruptly.  And while some may call me a bit naïve for perhaps being a little too quick to start singing his praises, as the process moves along I’ve seen Cruz move closer and closer to the top.  And while we can all agree that there is no such thing as the ‘prefect’ candidate, to me Cruz is quite acceptable.

In conclusion I’d like to mention something that I recently read about. There is currently some talk among, I guess, those who comprise the RINO faction of the party about the possibility of drafting Mitt Romney.  While this may make sense to some inside the beltway, to those of us out here in the real world it’s nothing short of ludicrous.  It would seem that the preference amongst these RINOs would be to have Hitlery win instead of a conservative.  I will say this just once, if Romney is our nominee I will stay home!

JON LEIBOWITZ, NOT MUCH MORE THAN A WASTE OF SKIN, REALLY…

I’ve never really understood why it is that so many people seem to be of the opinion that Jonny Leibowitz, aka Jon Stewart formerly of the Daily Show, is such a smart guy.  I mean really, give anyone the army of so-called “comedy” writers that was behind this boob, and it’s likely anyone would be able to sound funny and maybe even a little smart.  However, when left to his own devices old Jon sounds neither all the bright nor particularly funny.  He just sounds stupid!

But be that as it may it was this past Tuesday that Leibowitz was up to his old sophomoric tricks when he blasted Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ben Carson during a fundraiser in New York for, of all things, veterans.  Funny, usually it’s those of his political persuasion who couldn’t care less about the plight of our veterans.  Kinda makes me wonder where the money might really be going.  Perhaps some rehab palace for Hollywood drugees?

So it was that Leibowitz was a featured ‘performer’ at something called the “Stand Up for Heroes” benefit at the Theater at Madison Square Garden along with fellow morons Seth Meyers, Ray Romano and ‘singer’ Bruce Springsteen.  What a cadre of leftwing nutjobs.  Supposedly they had gathered to raise funds for wounded service members and their families.  And why is it that every time Springsteen ‘sings’, he looks like he’s taking a wickedly huge dump?

Leibowitz wasted little time in picking up right where he left off when he taped his final Daily Show appearance earlier this summer.  He said, “Are we really doing this Donald Trump thing? We’re really doing that as a country?”  He added, “He’s f***ed.”  And said. “I like to put my name in giant letters on everything I own as much as the next guy, but the only other people that do that are like 8-year-olds going to camp.”  Man, is this guy clever or what?

It was then he broke into his best Trump impression: “‘Where did I put that building? Oh, there it is, Trump. Boom. Where’s my f***ing helicopter? Boom, Trump…. Where’s my wife? Boom, Trump, nice.”  He said, “People are like, ‘I like Trump; he says what he thinks.’ What he thinks is stupid.”  And he added, “That’s like if your friend is like, ‘I would like to f*** your mom.’ Why would you say that?… I don’t give a shit if you’re politically correct, just be correct, correct.”

And then, of course, it was next that Leibowitz turned his sights on Dr. Carson, calling him “the greatest juxtaposition between volume of voice and craziness of sh** he says.”  He said, “He says the softest spoken crazy shit I’ve ever heard.”  And he went on to say, “You watch him in the debates – ‘All I said was Obamacare is like slavery… When I was young I nearly killed a nun with a… hammer.'”  Man, is that funny or what? No, not really.  More high school-like humor than anything else.

And then when it was finally time for Leibowitz to exist stage left, Springsteen returned with guitar in hand to put on yet another demonstration by one who should have long ago realized that any further attempts at singing would be nothing more than a complete waste of time.  But like most of his ilk, they never really seem to grasp when it’s time to quit as they have become so addicted to the limelight.  And these days Bruce can carry a tune with a wheelbarrow.

You know, as a veteran myself I view any money raised by the likes of these pathetic scumbags as being pretty severely tainted, and as such I would want nothing to do with it.  Because I know that the only reason any of them even took part in this effort to raise money, was not because of any feeling of respect they might possess for any of those who have served.  It was only because it provided them with an opportunity to demonstrate just how pathetic they really are.

WILL JUSTICES ONCE AGAIN GO ROGUE?

Since it’s something that happens so infrequently, it easy to remember that the last time we heard Barry tell the truth was November of last year.  The occasion was a speech that he gave at a Chicago community center.  Now granted it was more than likely that this rather uncharacteristic bout of honesty occurred completely by accident but, nonetheless, it happened.  But what likely prompted this rather unusual exercise in truth-telling to occur in the first place was the fact that hecklers shouted at him for not doing enough, in their view, to stop deportations.

And as unaccustomed as Barry is to telling the truth, it was likely the fact that he was so determined in his attempt to defend his policy that may have, ultimately, contributed to Barry’s little slip up.  He said, "I understand you may disagree. But we've got to be able to talk honestly about these issues. All right?"  He then went on to say, "Now, you're absolutely right that there have been significant numbers of deportations. That's true."  And he went on to add, "But what you're not paying attention to is the fact that I just took action to change the law."

Yes, my friends, Barry did put it in the first-person singular: 'I just took action to change the law."  But what law, exactly, was it that Barry take it upon himself to change?  Well, our less-then-stellar Homeland Security Secretary, Jeh (Jay) Johnson managed to shed some light on that when he announced that DHS was expanding its Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and was essentially morphing it into a new program which was going to be called Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents.

Now while the former program granted "lawful presence," work authorization and the ability to get Social Security Numbers to illegal immigrants who came to the United States as minors, this so-called new and improved version of the program would go one to grant these very same things to illegal immigrants who were the parents of citizens or legal permanent residents. And it was estimated that over 4 million illegal immigrants would be eligible for this new and improved DAPA.

However, what proved to be the flies in Barry’s immigration ointment, so to speak, were the twenty-six states, including Texas, who decided to sue in their effort to prevent our ‘Dear Beloved Leader’ from unilaterally making this change in the law.  But ‘Team Obama’ argued in federal court, that this policy, which Barry himself had described as being a "change" in the law, was in fact nothing more than an exercise of prosecutorial discretion well within the purview of Barry.  But sadly for ‘Team Obama’ the judge wasn’t buying what it was that they were selling.

Because by definition an act of prosecutorial discretion is discrete and finite: A prosecutor decides not to press charges against a person for a particular offense that has already been committed. The prosecutor does not say: I hereby license you to break that law with impunity in the future.  So what was being attempted here by Barry and his team, doesn’t quite fit within the parameters, by any stretch of the imagination, and is yet another example of how Barry continues to assume that the rules simply do not apply to him.

And it was in a brilliant opinion published back in February that U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen explained that "prosecutorial discretion" did not properly describe what ‘Team Barry’ was trying to accomplish with DAPA.  The judge said, "Instead of merely refusing to enforce the INA's removal laws against an individual, the DHS has enacted a wide-reaching program that awards legal presence, to individuals Congress has deemed deportable or removable, as well as the ability to obtain Social Security numbers, work authorization permits, and the ability to travel."

He went on to say, "Absent DAPA, these individuals would not receive these benefits."  He added, "Exercising prosecutorial discretion and/or refusing to enforce the law does not entail bestowing benefits."   He said, "Non-enforcement is just that — not enforcing the law. Non-enforcement does not entail refusing to remove these individuals as required by the law and then providing three years of immunity from that law, legal presence status, plus any benefits that may accompany legal presence under current regulations."

Judge Hanen pointed out, in referring to Barry's speech in Chicago, that it was Barry himself who had actually taken credit for changing the law.  He said, "The government must concede that there is no specific law or statute that authorizes DAPA."  He went on to say "In fact, the president announced it was the failure of Congress to pass such a law that prompted him (through his delegate, Secretary Johnson) to 'change the law.'"  And then added, "The DHS secretary is not just rewriting the laws; he is creating them from scratch."

And so it was then that it was just this week that the majority of a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit echoed Judge Hanen's very sound reasoning and upheld the injunction he imposed on Barry's "change" of law.  Of course it was immediately announced that ‘Team Obama’ would an appeal to the Supreme Court.  Now remember, this year it was five members of the Supreme Court who decided that there is a constitutional right for two people of the same sex to marry and, thus, that children have no right to a mother (or a father).

And last week the Supreme Court decided that it would take up the case the Little Sisters of the Poor who are fighting against the overreach of Barry’s administration. In this case, five justices could very well decide whether the administration can force Catholic nuns, and other Christians, to cooperate in its plan to deliver abortion-inducing drugs and devices through employer-based health care plans.  In this new case, again it could be five justices who may well get to decide if one man can change this nation's immigration laws.  Sadly, I’m not too confident about our odds.

HITLERY SAYS OBAMA DON’T GET NO RESPECT, ECONOMICALLY SPEAKING…

Hitlery Clinton must have got a big laugh when she recently said that Barry “Almighty” doesn't get the credit he deserves for his economic performance.  And then when she said, and quite confidently so, that the economy always performs much better when there is a Democrat in the White house, she must have had the folks rolling in aisles.  Don’t you think?  Oh, but wait. She wasn't joking.  The crazy bitch was serious!

However, somehow, and I could be wrong, I just don’t think that many Americans agree with Hitlery's rather charitable assessment of our ongoing economic situation. We just had a report of 1.5 percent growth in the most-recent quarter. Every poll for five years shows that voters are most concerned about jobs, falling incomes and the debt.  While climate change, a favorite issue of Barry’s, always ranks last or near last with voters.

Forty percent to 70 percent of Americans, depending on which poll you may choose to use, say that the U.S. is still in a recession.  Little has taken place on Barry’s watch that can be judged to have been a success.  We got a jobs report last Friday that was little more than another work of fiction.  And while the stock market has been on a tear since Barry entered office, many experts say that it is nothing more than a house of cards.

And the thing is, the number of areas where things have now come so completely off the tracks far outnumber  those few areas where we can find, by any stretch of the imagination, any sort of good economic news.  And it would be difficult to argue that any of what has taken place, has occurred by accident.  Since day one of his presidency there has  always been a certain level of purpose in bringing about an economic collapse.
For instance:

Economic growth:  Has been absolutely anemic, at best. This recovery is essentially a bust. Compare the growth rate of 2 percent under Barry with nearly 4 percent under President Reagan and 3.5 percent for a normal recovery.  This means we have $2 Trillion less gross domestic product today than we would if Barry's performance had been average (i.e., a C grade) and $3 Trillion behind the Reagan recovery of the 1980s (an A grade). If Barry had done as well as Reagan, we would have $24,000 higher annual output per household this year.

College and Health Costs:  Skyrocketing. Barry promised to lower health costs by $2,500 per family. Oops. This year we have learned that many states are reporting insurance premium increases of 10 percent, 20 percent and even 30 percent. Over the past decade, medical costs are up significantly.

University tuition costs are also surging despite Barry campaign pledges to make college more affordable. Compared with the 2008-2009 school year, tuition and fees at public four-year colleges in 2014-2015 increased by about 37 percent. Meanwhile, tuition and fees at four-year private nonprofit universities increased by about 26 percent, to $31,000 a year. The more money Barry throws at higher education, the more they raise their costs.

Real Unemployment:  Over 10 percent. The low unemployment rate of 5 percent that Barry boasts of is nothing more than a statistical trick.  The real rate of unemployment under Barry is more than twice as high. When counting underemployed part-timers and those working-age Americans who have dropped out of the labor force — mostly because they can't find a job — the rate is over 10 percent. There are now more than 90 million Americans over the age of 16 who are not working — an all-time high.

Take-Home Pay:  Falling like a proverbial rock. Since Barry took office, real household income has fallen $1,748 (from January 2009 through this June). This represents a 3.1-percent decline in take-home pay.  Real median weekly earnings have stagnated, too. Since the fourth quarter of 2008 through the first half of 2015, median weekly earnings have been flat.

Income Gaps:  Rising. The biggest income declines during Barry’s tenure have been recorded by women, Hispanics, blacks and young workers — the very groups he promised to help.  According to Sentier Research, single women saw their incomes fall by roughly 5 percent in the five years following the end of the Great Recession in 2009. Those ages 25-34 experienced an income decline of 4.4 percent. Black heads-of-households saw their income tumble by 7.7 percent, while Hispanic heads-of-households' income fell 5.6 percent.  These income declines don't even include the huge hit that families took during the 2008-2009 recession.

National Debt:  Up, Up and still UP some more. During Barry's tenure, the national debt has soared more than $7.5 Trillion to surpass $18 Trillion, and the new budget deal means that, by the time he leaves office, the debt will have nearly doubled. The federal debt has now hit more than $220,000 per household — which is like a second mortgage.

Taxes:  Way Up. Barry “Almighty” has raised taxes on investment income, dead people, medical device manufacturers, health insurance policies, smokers and hospitals — to name a few. Further, Obamacare's "individual mandate" amounts to a massive tax hike on the middle class. The U.S. now has the highest business tax in the world, and businesses are fleeing offshore and taking jobs with them.

So if Hitlery is going to whine about how little credit the media gives Barry on the economy, then I would argue that maybe Barry should start taking some of the "credit" for the shape our economy is currently in.  And he can start by taking responsibility for most of what has gone so horribly wrong.  But, as we all know, taking responsibility isn’t exactly Barry’s strong suit.  He’s much better at making excuses and blaming George W. Bush.

But in all honesty, it’s unlikely that Barry sees anything he has done as being wrong.  But that’s only because he came into office as a man on a mission.  A mission to “fundamentally transform.”  And as we look back at the economic policies that have been put into place, where most us will see intentional economic sabotage, Barry sees ‘progress’.  You see, he has accomplished exactly that which he intended to accomplish, and in spades!

OBAMA SAYS, “IF IT’S THE LAST THING I DO!!!”

In an email sent out just this past weekend by the Democrat Party, Barry “Almighty” made it very clear that if it’s the very last thing he is able to do, he is determined to rip guns from the hands of law abiding Americans.  And in so doing, he urged his many devoted followers to join with him in his effort to enact ever-stricter gun laws.  Devoted followers who, like Barry, have very little interest in, or respect for, what our Constitution actually says.

Barry begins his idiotic little rant in very typical form by saying, "We have not gone more than eight days without a mass shooting in this country this year."  And he then goes on to say, "That means that each week, more families are grieving, more communities are being pieced back together. As a nation, we're holding everyone affected by these heartbreaking events in our prayers."  But, he goes on to add, prayers simply are not enough.

The email also provides a handy little link to a Democrats.org webpage where those who chose to do so can add their name to a petition to support Barry’s cause.  In what is obviously an effort on his part to boost the seriousness of the issue as he sees it, Barry also goes on to make the claim that there have been more than 300 mass shootings in the United States so far in 2015, killing nearly 400 and injuring 1,000.  An exaggeration to say the least.

And then in what I’m assuming was a reference to a statement by GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush after the October Oregon community college shooting, Barry said, "We can't sweep this problem under the rug, or allow ourselves to become numb to it, or accept that there's nothing we can do because 'stuff happens.'"  But what is something that is being swept under the rug is the sheer volume of gun laws, already on the books, that go unenforced.

Barry says, "Let me be clear about this: Unless we do something – change our politics and change our laws – these painful tragedies will continue."  Now of course he doesn’t bother to not lay out any sort of a specific strategy.  Barry says the issue is not about the Second Amendment, but about "commonsense reform measures" the American people ‘want’.  Despite his previous attempts at executive actions, Barry says, "I cannot change this by myself.”

Barry goes on to say, "I need members of Congress, state legislatures, and governors who will work with me."  And he adds, "And I need people like you to stand up and say that enough is enough."  And then in trying to sound motivational, I guess, Barry proudly cites what he refers to as those things he view as being Democrat gains.  You know such as Obamacare, same-sex marriage and climate change.  Things that any sane person views as being anything but gains.

Barry said, "But this is one thing we haven't been able to do."  And he went on to say, "We have not reformed our gun laws to help reduce the unnecessary deaths we see in this country every single day."  But it is not too late, he said, "by making sure we urge future leaders to act where we have been stalled.”  Perhaps if Barry’s focus was more on the actual enforcement of gun laws that which he claims to care so much about, unnecessary deaths, would actually be reduced.

And so it would seem then, that when Barry’s not busying himself releasing thousands of drug offenders from prison, or allowing untold numbers of those who are in this country illegally to remain here even after committing any number of violent crimes or even closing down Guantanamo Bay and bringing the terrorists locked up there here to American soil, he’s busy trying to come up with new ways to redefine our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

IS THIS WHAT OBAMA MEANT BY A “FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION”???

In the run up to the 2008 election Barry “Almighty’ made the promise that if elected his goal would be one of “fundamentally transforming” the United States of America.  What follows is a series of charts that makes very clear just how successful he has been in that endeavor.

1. Federal debt is soaring.

2. The feds are printing an unprecedented amount of money.

3.  Wages are stagnant.

4.  Nearly 40 percent of Americans are not working.

5.  The business workforce’s share of income is declining.

6.  Spending on food stamps is soaring.

7.  Student debt is soaring.

8.  Home-ownership is still falling.

9.  Real median family income is down.

REPUBLICAN CONTROL EXPANDS, AND YET…NOTHING EVER HAPPENS…

So while those in government who claim to be member of the Republican Party continue to expand in number, more by default than as a result of any specific deed accomplished, it’s those who align themselves with the Democrat Party that continue to dwindle in number.  And yet, even with this increase in numbers there has been no effort undertaken to stop, or to even slow, the country’s steady movement left.  Such reluctance to act has only served to encourage the Democrats who, even though fewer in number, have met with much success in their mission to destroy this nation.

One can argue, I suppose, the fortunes of the Democrat Party changed with the arrival of Barry.  Although, at the time, many predicted something quite different would take place. The damage that Barry has inflicted upon the Democrats in Congress, as well as to those in a number of state legislatures, has been widely reported on over the last 7 years.  But of course it has been downplayed, or ignored entirely, by many on the left.  But this past Wednesday, and for the first time, it was nicely summed up nicely in just 140 characters (or less) what Barry has achieved.

This rather brilliant, and albeit quite brief, summation came from Republican operative Rory Cooper who managed to tie what can be described as being a rather nice little bow on the Democrats’ fall from grace with a Tweet that simply tallied up all of the many losses.  “Under President Obama, Democrats have lost 900+ state legislature seats, 12 governors, 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats,” Cooper tweeted. “That’s some legacy.”  We all heard about the losses experienced by the Democrats but to see them written out in such a manner, the totals seem quite amazing.

And as election results began to come in after this past Tuesday’s elections we saw that the trend appears to be continuing.  That trend being, of course, that the Republican Party had again been quite successful in expanding on 2014 mid-term gains at the state level.  Republicans maintained their control of the Virginia senate, despite the best efforts of Gov. Terry McAuliffe and tons of money spent by the likes of Mike Bloomberg, as well as the New York senate.  Republicans also held on to their majorities in both Mississippi houses while picking up seats in Pennsylvania.

And in what’s being called a surprise by many, and a win reminiscent of Larry Hogan’s 2014 win as governor of The People’s Republic of Maryland, is how easily Republican businessman Matt Bevin handily defeated Democrat Attorney General Jack Conway for the governor’s seat in Kentucky, becoming only the second Republican to hold that office in the last 40 years. Bevin’s win makes a total of 12 Republican governor pick-ups since Barry first took office.  Again, a rather significant string of losses that are said to be all the fault of the one who we had supposedly all been waiting for.

Republicans took control of a record 67 state chambers in the 2014 mid-term elections, and they continue to control both chambers in 23 states.  Meanwhile, Democrats have complete control of just seven, which leave the remaining ones with power being divided between the parties. And Republicans of course hold majorities in Congress, where Democrats hold just 44 Senate seats and 188 House seats.  And yet despite the fact that their numbers have been increasing, the direction is which our country seems to be headed has changed very little, if at all.

And yet, what have the Republicans managed to do with this growing power that they possess?  Not much of anything, really!  Other than appearing to be only too happy to assist Barry “Almighty” in doing just about anything he wants to do in his ongoing effort to “fundamentally transform’ this country.  Now granted, while we have seen most of such assistance coming more from those Republicans inside the beltway, there has been more than a few out beyond the beltway who have also been willing to assist Barry in his mission to destroy our country.

And frankly, I’m a bit perplexed why it is that people continue to vote for Republicans, especially when we continue get little or nothing in return.  They make all manner of promises with apparently no intension of following through.  The tactic worked quite well for them in both 2010 and again in 2014.  In Washington there has been little or no push back against the rabid spending of Barry “Almighty”, and even less has been accomplished as far as reversing the course that this country has been on for decades, but especially over the course of the last seven years.

I’m at my wits end.  While it sounds encouraging to hear how it is that the Democrats have been getting their collective ass handed to them over the last few election cycles, what do we on the right have to show for any if it?  Jack shit, that’s what!  What, are we just supposed to walk around with our chests all puffed out because we own more states?  Or that we have more House seats than at any time since World War II?  Big deal!  How about we flex our political muscle a little?  How about we DO something for the country?  But nope, it’s just more of us to cower in the corner!

REGARDING THE ECONOMY, THE LIES JUST KEEP COMING…

Ya know I really do hate to keep harping on the subject of these continuing to be outrageously bogus unemployment numbers but, Geez Louise, I gotta tell ya, as long as ‘Team Obama’ keeps on spewing what are these blatant exaggerations in what, I guess, is their continuing attempt to portray our piss-poor economy as booming, well then, I’m going to keep pointing out the fact that we’re simply being lied to over and over again.  I mean, ow stupid do they really think we are?  Now granted your basic Democrat is that stupid, being a moron is a prerequisite for joining the party.

And despite Hitlery repeatedly claiming that the economy always does better when we have a a Democrat in the White House, the fact is that we had 94,513,000 Americans who were not in the labor force at the end of October.  Which, I suppose if you’re Hitlery or Barry “Almighty”, can be viewed as being sort of a positive thing since that was a slight improvement from the 94,610,000 not in the labor force in September.  But nonetheless that number has remained at its lowest point in 38 years, or since we were back in the days of Jimmy Carter.

So anyway, it was according to our Bureau of Labor Statistics, part of the Barry “Almighty” propaganda apparatus, that our economy was said to have added 271,000 jobs in October, well above, or so we are told, economists' expectations of 185,000, and the unemployment rate is said to have dropped to 5.0 percent in October from September's 5.1 percent.  But again, in arriving at that this number you have to keep in mind that the millions of Americans who have simply given up even looking for a job are no longer even being counted among the unemployed.

And then in making it quite clear just what sort of drug induced fantasy world it is that ‘Team Obama’ must now currently reside in, it was our Fed Chairmoron, Janet Yellen, who told Congress, just this week, that she sees the U.S. economy "as performing well," although "we have seen some slowdown in the pace of job gains recently."  She indicated then, that if the Nov. 6 jobs report and other economic data supports the Fed's expectation that the economy will continue to grow, then an interest rate hike in December "would be a live possibility."

In September, again according to the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics, the nation’s civilian noninstitutional population, consisting of all people 16 or older who were not in the military or an institution, reached 251,541,000. Of those, 157,028,000 participated in the labor force by either holding a job or actively seeking one.  The 157,028,000 who participated in the labor force equaled only 62.4 percent of the 251,541,000 civilian noninstitutional population. The last time the labor force participation was as low as 62.4 percent was in October 1977.  Ring a bell?

Another rather bit of purely fictitious information, aka propaganda, that we can glean from today’s complete-waste-time jobs report included a breakdown of what we were supposed to believe are the ‘actual’ unemployment numbers for the various segments of our population.  What this report supposedly showed was that: The unemployment rates for adult men (4.7 percent), adult women (4.5 percent), teenagers (15.9 percent), whites (4.4 percent), blacks (9.2 percent), Asians (3.5 percent), and Hispanics (6.3 percent) showed little or no change in October.

To be honest there is very little truth to any of these numbers, all they are are nothing more than smoke and mirrors.  What has been underway for the last seven years has been the most anemic economic “recovery” ever to take place in the history of this nation.  In fact, I would argue that what we have seen take place, economically speaking, has essentially been by design.  Because what self-respecting economist, excluding Paul Krugman, can look at any of the policies that have been put into place and say that their purpose has been to strengthen the economy?  NONE!

IN HER QUEST TO GET YOUR GUN, HITLERY WILL LEAVE NO LIE UNTOLD…

Make no mistake about it, my Second Amendment supporting friends, Democrat presidential hopeful, Hitlery ‘The Hag’ Clinton will be very determined in her efforts to come for your guns if we’re stupid enough to elect her as our next president.  She makes that very apparent in a recently released, albeit highly dishonest, gun control ad (seen above) in which she combines suicides with firearm-related homicides and, as a result, elevates “gun violence” figures by approximately 66 percent.  But hey, what’s one more lie when she’s already told so many already, and especially when her intentions are so ‘honorable’.

While this tact is really nothing new for the old girl, the fact that Hitlery is now making these bogus claims in ads that will run over and over again suggests she is willing to benefit in any way she can from highly inflated, inaccurate numbers, rather than correct the record.  This most recent ad opens with Hitlery saying, “This epidemic of gun violence knows no boundaries. Between 88 and 92 people a day are killed by guns. We’re better than this.”  Note the rather innocuous sounding phrase “killed by guns,” which would seem to suggest, and quite purposely so, that lives are taken by violence perpetrated against innocents.

She puts a figure on it, claiming “88 to 92″ lives are taken each day by such violence. And she avails herself of the best gun control talking points by describing “gun violence” at this level as an “epidemic.”  But here’s the problem with her overarching message: it simply isn’t true.  In reality, actual firearm-related homicides each year hover between approximately 8,500 and 11,000.  And many of these are the result of the kind of gang violence and street crime seen in such utopian enclaves as Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, and St. Louis, among other Democrat-controlled cities.

For instance, in 2013, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that there had been 11,208 firearm-related homicides in the United States.  An additional 505 accidental firearm-related deaths occurred in the US–a figure that pales in comparison to the 38,851 deaths by accidental poisoning or the 30,208 deaths caused by falls.  So Hitlery and gun control proponents who happen to think like her, increase these figures by adding in suicides.  In this way, 11,713 firearm-related deaths–homicides and accidental deaths–quickly become 32,888 “gun violence” deaths in 2013 and an impetus for gun control.

But let’s face it, it’s this same ‘fuzzy math’ that Democrats are rather fond of using regardless of the issue or policy they happen to be talking about.  They use this creative approach when talking about everything from unemployment to our debt problem.  In other words, 11,713 gun-related deaths in 2013 represent about 32 deaths a day out of an American population of 318 million people. That is not enough to give gun control the traction it needs to get moving.   But, add in suicides and that brings the figure to 32,888–and Hitlery can lump all deaths together and claim “88 to 92 people are killed” as a result of “gun violence.”

It’s been previously reported that ‘Nanny Mike’ Bloomberg did the same thing back on April 16, 2014, in his effort to inflate deaths by illegal guns.  Back then he made the claim that “31,000 Americans either get murdered or commit suicide with illegal guns [each year].” This is a gross conflation of the facts and a distortion along the same pattern that we now see coming from Hitlery. Bloomberg was taking actual deaths by “gun violence”–which hover between 8,500 and 11,000 a year–and combining them with approximately 20,000 firearm-related suicides.  Voila, the need for gun control!

But the reality can be easily seen by simply looking at the facts. Those pesky little things that Democrats, like Hitlery, don’t really like, and continually see as being nothing more than speed bumps standing in the way of what they are working so hard to accomplish.  But what the facts tell us is that in 2011, the FBI reported a total of 8,583 murders with firearms while the CDC statistics show a total of 19,766 suicides with a firearm.  Taken together, those figures total 28,349, only about 30 percent of which were the result of actual “gun violence.” Lumping them together gave Bloomberg a 70 percent boost.

To be honest, I have never been able to understand why it is that anyone would be so gullible as to believe anything that they are ever told by any Democrat.  Because nothing Democrats ever say has any resemblance to the truth, no matter what it is that they might be talking about.  And as their continuing attempts at gun control make very clear, they will say absolutely anything if they think there is even the slightest chance that it will increase the odds of they’re becoming successful.  And as their desperation to achieve gun control intensifies, the willingness on the part of Democrats to lie becomes all the more outrageous!

AMERICANS REMAIN HO-HUM ABOUT ‘CLIMATE CHANGE’…

Much to the irritation of those like Barry “Almighty”, John Kerry-Heinz and, of course, Al Gore, Americans are simply not all that bothered by global warming regardless of the nomenclature used to describe it.  Be it climate change, climate disruption or whatever it is that those on the left choose to call it.  It would seem that they see any number of other issues as being far more pressing.  Most Americans agree that the climate may be changing, but they say they are just not that worried about it.  Because I’m sure they, unlike those on the left, are smart enough to know that there ain’t squat they can do about it anyway.  And that is keeping the American public from demanding and getting the changes that are necessary to prevent global warming from reaching a crisis, at least according to climate and social scientists.

As top-level international negotiations to try to limit greenhouse gas emissions start later this month in Paris, it would seem that at least two out of every three Americans accept global warming and the vast majority of those say human activities may be at least part of the cause.  However, fewer than one in four Americans are extremely or very worried about it.  And while one out of three Americans admit to being moderately worried, the highest percentage of Americans are neither too worried nor worried about it at all.  And despite all of the high profile preaching that we heard coming from ‘The Commie’ Pope Francis, only roughly a third of Americans see global warming as being a moral issue and only a quarter of those asked see it as a fairness issue.

According to Dana Fisher, director of the Program for Society and the Environment at the University of Maryland, "The big deal is that climate has not been a voting issue of the American population.”  Ms. Fisher went on to say, "If the American population were left to lead on the issue of climate, it's just not going to happen."  Ms. Fisher seems to be of the opinion that the American population is simply not be smart enough to recognize the issue as being the next great apocalypse that so many of those on the left view it as being.  And it might be worth noting that ‘Professor’ Fisher’s research focuses on political decision-making, grassroots activism, and civic participation, aiming to understand how social actors engage in decision-making processes and the successes and failures of such efforts.

Linda Gebel is a 64-year-old retired bookkeeper who lives north of Minneapolis and she sums up what is, I suppose, the sentiment held by some Americans.  And it’s as someone who has read up on the subject of global warming that she says, "Everybody's life would be totally disrupted."  And she added, "It will cause famines and wars, huge problems. I don't know why people wouldn't be worried about it."  And yet because she lives in the middle of the country she jokingly says that she'll be among "the last ones who will be submerged.” Gebel added that she doesn't "feel worried personally. I'm not sure this is going to happen in my lifetime, but I worry about my children. I worry about my grandchildren."  As for myself, I very much doubt that even my great grandchildren will be effected by this ‘climate change’ boondoggle.

The "lukewarm" feeling and lack of much serious concern on the topic has been pretty consistent in polling over the years, even as temperatures have risen, said Anthony Leiserowitz, director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication.  And Princeton University climate scientist Michael Oppenheimer said, "The issue hasn't quite boiled up enough so that people have put it on the top of things they want to focus on.  "One issue is how big, yet distant the problem seems and how abstract it can be,” Fisher said. It can cause people to put off worrying about it.  But it’s rather difficult to worry about a supposed ‘warming planet’ when looking back at last winter’s frigid temperatures and the fact that here in early November snow is already falling in many parts of the country.

And then we have Renata Schram who is a 43-year-old customer service representative in Sturgis, Michigan, who says that while she believes global warming is real, and is mostly caused by people, she is only moderately worried about it.  She says, "On my list of things that worry me today, global warming is kind of low."  Of primary concern to her and what she views as being a far more pressing issue is the  growing level of violence seen in the world.  She said, "Usually when we hear about global warming everything seems so distant."  She goes on to add, "The sea levels are going to rise but I find it difficult to find a prediction that tells you how many years exactly."  Well, that would only be because the entire cockamamie theory is based on junk science and no one has a clue when, or if, it’s even gonna happen.

And then we have White House ‘science adviser’ John Holdren, otherwise known as the keeper of the ‘climate change’ faith.  This genius said climate contrarians emphasize how large the problem is, essentially telling people "the result (of warming) is too scary, so let's not believe it." He said these groups have been "incredibly effective in sowing doubt" about global warming.  It’s very easy to be doubtful about something that is nothing more than one huge con job.   For his part, Myron Ebell, a policy expert at the conservative American Enterprise Institute, said the elites on the coast may be concerned about global warming but people in the heartland who dig stuff up, grow stuff or make stuff are used to the vagaries of extreme weather.   He said, "They don't see it as much of a problem" because it isn't.

But not so, say the scientists, or those who are really nothing more than the high priests of this religion of ‘climate change.’  Climate scientist Chris Field of the Carnegie Institution said, "We are all vulnerable to the impacts."  And he then goes on to say.  "If you are a farmer in Illinois or if you work on a railroad in Alabama or are a miner in West Virginia, there are impacts that are going to affect your life, your health and what you're going to pay for things in the grocery story."  And climate scientist Katherine Hayhoe of Texas Tech, who reaches out to the evangelical Christian community claims that scientists aren't communicating their worries well.  They seem to assume that issuing more reports and data will be sufficient to convince people.  She said success lies in finding common ground in humanity.

And it was Ms. Hayhoe who told a meeting of top ‘climate scientists last week in Washington, "More facts are not going to fix the problem."  And she went on to say, "Nearly every human on the planet has the values they need to care about climate change. We just need to connect the dots."  But look, I think this entire ‘climate change’ nonsense is much ado about nothing.  What we have is an inordinate number of ‘scientists’ with way too much time on their hands.  They have to find something to justify their scientific worth.  And if they can earn for themselves a few bucks along the way, what’s the harm?  Let’s not forget that many of the very same people who are now claiming that the Earth is getting hotter were, just a few short decades ago, warning us to start preparing of the coming of a new ice age.

THE TRULY DIABOLICAL MR. SOROS…

Much has been said by those on the left, more recently during the last two election cycles, about the supposed evil Charles and David Koch pose to this country.  But rarely, if ever, do we hear from those very same voices anything about the dangers we face from the infamous George Soros or the threat he and his billions represent to America.   But it’s not only America that this insidious billionaire seems to have his sights set on.   You see the sinister billionaire recently confirmed that he would like nothing better than to bring down Europe’s borders.  Soros made his desire public after an accusation made just last week by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.   It was then that Prime Minister Orban accused Soros, who was born in Hungary, of deliberately encouraging the migrant crisis.

Orban said, “This invasion is driven, on the one hand, by people smugglers, and on the other by those (human rights) activists who support everything that weakens the nation-state.”  And he then went on to say, “This Western mindset and this activist network is perhaps best represented by George Soros.”  Soros has since issued an email statement to Bloomberg Business, claiming his foundations help “uphold European values”, while Mr. Oban’s actions in strengthening the Hungarian border and stopping a huge migrant influx “undermine those values.  Soros said of Mr. Oban, “His plan treats the protection of national borders as the objective and the refugees as an obstacle.”  And he went on to say, “Our plan treats the protection of refugees as the objective and national borders as the obstacle.”

And it was last month that Prime Minister Orban also accused pro-immigration non-governmental organizations (NGOs) of “drawing a living from the immigration crisis,” singling out those funded by Soros.  Soros has long been a firm backer of transnational bodies such as the European Union, and his Open Society Foundation (OSF) provides much assistance for pro-migration activists.  He is well-known for his rather enthusiastic support of many so-called “progressive” causes such as the Center for American Progress as well as Hitlery Clinton and Barry “Almighty”.   Soros is man, thanks to his billions, who has been able to insert himself into the workings of the governments of several countries, and therefore has his tentacles into areas where he very obviously has no business being.

Soros’ OSF website explains: “We believe that migration and asylum policy should be grounded in economic and demographic realities, not driven by temporary political considerations or popular misconceptions.”  This wonderful little website goes onto say, “In Europe, many of our civil society partners are raising their voices demanding a common European approach in line with international human rights commitments.”  The website talks about such things as ‘temporary political considerations and popular misconceptions’ as a way to trivialize, or to perhaps imply that, such things as elections and the values held by a society should be made to take the back seat to the creation of a new world, one without borders.  And to rule over this new borderless world one singular ‘government.’

But it was Orban who took an opposing viewpoint, saying in an interview last month that immigration and multiculturalism are endangering Europe’s “Christian roots” and creating “parallel societies”.   Europeans, he said, should “stick to our Christian values” and “Europe can be saved,” but only if they “take seriously the traditions, the Christian roots and all the values that are the basis of the civilization of Europe.”  And the Prime Minister was absolutely spot on in what he said.  I think one could safely argue that what the Prime Minister argued in favor of is the complete antithesis of this new world order being advocated by our rather insidious leftwing billionaire.  But unfortunately the Prime Minister may find himself outnumbered by those who are happy to take Soros’ side in exchange for ‘contributions.’
