SERIOUSLY FOLKS??? CORY BOOKER AS PRESIDENT???

If anyone were to still have any doubts about the weakness of the Democrat bench or the shallowness of the Democrat gene pool one need to hear no other news, fake or otherwise, that Corey Booker, the mayor who left Newark far worse off than he found it and then used the race card to finagle a seat in the U.S. Senate, easily tops the list of potential Democrat contenders for 2020.  Is that not the most hilarious thing you’ve ever heard?  Booker’s youth, as well as his popularity with the vocal progressive wing of the party, make the rumors easy to believe, but Booker himself was unwilling to address the speculation head-on until recently.

And it was in taking to the airwaves, courtesy of the Communist News Network’s “State of the Union,” that Booker refuted the rumors that he may be interested in running for president come the 2020 presidential election.  Booker said, “I think that we are doing — anybody in office is doing exactly what the American people are fed up and sick and tired of by talking about politics.”  And he went on to say, “Let’s talk about people and purpose now. I want to be authentic in who I am right now. I want to be a person of purpose not thinking about a future office.”  Anyone buying any of this bullshit?  Because if we’re being honest here, that’s really all it is!

Booker asserted that politicians who focus only on the next attainable office weren’t good politicians, before adding that such ambition usually forces someone to make compromises in their current office.  He said, “I am going to be fearless in telling the truth. I don’t care where it ends me up because I think when I go home to Newark, New Jersey, that’s what my community wants from me.”  Right, so old Corey is going to be fearless in telling the truth?  But the ‘truth’ by whose definition, I wonder?  Because this guy, like most Democrats, wouldn’t know the truth if it came up and bit him in the ass.  So it’s rather difficult, for me, to take this guy seriously.

And as if to reinforce the whole notion that the Democrat Party seems to have not only hit the bottom of the barrel, but has now proceeded to go right through the bottom of said barrel, regarding its number of suitable candidates for the office of president, we’re told that other top contenders for the Democrat nomination in 2020 include Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, and even former presidential candidate Hitlery herself.  Hitlery will be in her early 70s by then and likely even less appealing than she was in her late 60s.  Oh, and rumor also now has it that the crook from New York, Andy Cuomo, may decide to run.  Need I say more?

And it was during this same CNN interview that Booker accused President Trump of creating a “toxic environment” of “increased fear in our country.”  He said, “This is the problem, I don’t care what party you are in right now, recognize this, we are at a time of increased fear in our country.”  And why might that be, Mr. Booker?  Because any fear that I may possess has as its source you and nearly every other member of your pathetically corrupt party.  Because it’s you who want to allow into this country those who seek nothing more than to kill me or those who wish to take advantage of the generosity of the American people.  And for what, so they’ll vote for Democrats?

Booker said, “There is something seriously wrong when mendacity has become the norm. There is something seriously wrong when law-abiding citizens are afraid to leave their homes. There is something seriously wrong when hate crimes are surging. There is something seriously wrong when this is a toxic environment being created right now. And I don’t care who you are, if you consider yourself a leader, you have an obligation to stand up and do something about it and lead with love and not appealing to people’s darker angels or exploiting that fear.”  Like when a president throws open the jailhouse doors or pretends our borders don’t exist?

Personally, having already gone down that road once and having it result in what was nothing less than an unmitigated disaster, I’d like to think that the American people would have it in them the wisdom to NEVER AGAIN elect a black president!!  Thank you Barry “Almighty”, because not only did you destroy your own party but you have ruined any chance of a black man ever being elected president again.  If there was some way for Booker to become president he might even be worse and more corrupt than Barry “Almighty”.  For the sake of race relations in this country the very last thing we would need again, is another black Democrat as president.

And look, as far as a “toxic environment of increased fear”, the only fear President Trump is creating is the fear within a Democrat Party that’s bleeding voters due to its failures, its lies, its arrogance its corruption and its communist tendencies.  Theirs is a dying party and their over the top hateful rhetoric is a clear reflection of their panic.  Personally I feel much safer now than I did when Mr. “Overseas Contingency Operation” was in office.  His constant bending over and spreading ‘em for his then favorite non-enemy-enemy got to be more than a little unsettling.  After all, being a Democrat means never being able to say “Radical Islam”!

Booker’s idiotic claim of a “toxic environment of fear" reminds me of Barry's eight years of incessant race baiting and race hustling. He convinced every black person they had to fear for their lives.  It's how he eventually put a target on every cop's back.  It was Barry who created the ‘environment of fear’.  Whites getting punched in the head for no reason when they were walking down the street, whites getting yelled at and accused of "white privilege", whites getting screamed at in colleges, and now white students are being murdered at colleges.  Trump didn’t cause any of this, Barry did!  It was going on long before Trump took office.

Liberals never cease to amaze me.  Democrat politicians consistently work against the best interests of those constituencies that repeatedly vote for them over and over, much like the abused wife who constantly returns to her abuser.  Basically every word from Booker’s mouth is exactly what the liberals are all doing. The only ones freaking out and trying to scare everybody, is them!  They shouldn’t really call themselves "progressives" anymore, because what they are, are ‘RE-gressives’.  Because if you look at what were once classic liberal values, like freedom of speech, freedom to practice your religion, they don't possess those values anymore.

That sounds much like the Moslem concept that if only ‘everyone’ would simply give in to Islam then there would be no more violence and no more problems. I can see why the progressives love Moslems now, they think exactly the same way.  So Booker's idea is that if President Trump just stopped opposing the progressive, open borders, business destroying, identity politics juggernaut of the last 8 years then the fear progressives have of losing those same things would disappear.  I have news for the many snowflakes like Booker, all that President Trump needs to do is to simply ignore the progressives/regressives among us, and just do what he was elected to do.

Those who proudly wear the moniker of ‘progressive’, or if you prefer, RE-gressive, would never vote for Trump anyway so there’s simply no point in trying to appease them in any meaningful way.  In the end Trump’s administration will act like an intervention in their twisted lives and maybe some will wake up to themselves as happened in Reagan's first term.  But there will always be a hardened core of liberal ‘malcontents’ who will always think the toxic civilization they have created these last few years is the only a viable model for this country going forward and that anyone who views things differently should never again be allowed a place at the table.

That Cory Booker could even be considering the possibility of maybe running for President in 2020 is nothing less than the most hilarious thing I think I have ever heard.  He has zero charisma, zero debating skills, and zero ideas except racism and identity politics.  In other words he’s another Hitlery, only in a darker, male form.  And if true, that he is at or near the top of potential Democrat contenders for 2020, then perhaps the Democrat Party is in far worse shape than we thought.  But that said, it’s as long as we have Republicans like McConnell, Ryan, McCain and Graham, to name just a few, we can never truly count out the Democrats.

DEMOCRAT OPPOSITION TO THE BORDER WALL IS PURE POLITICS…

Ok, so can someone please explain to me what it is with politicians from Wisconsin?  And it would seem it’s regardless of party affiliation.  I mean first, on the Republican/RINO side, we have Paul Ryan who is doing his damnedest to convince folks that what’s really nothing more than an experiment in semantics is actually a bona fide attempt at “repealing and replacing” Obamacare.  And secondly, it’s over on the Democrat side that we now have Gwen Moore who seems to be busying herself these days by advocating against a wall along our southern border and claiming Americans should not have to pay for it.  They’re both nuts!

And it was Ms. Moore, as if doing her best to prove the point that Shelia Jackson Lee, Barbara Lee, Marcia Fudge and Frederica Wilson aren’t the ONLY ignorant black women in Congress, who said during a recent interview on the Communist Broadcasting System (CBS) that, “I am not in favor of the wall, but if there is a wall, then I do not want the United States of America to pay for the wall.”  And it was according to CBS that she was slated to introduce a jim-dandy piece of legislation on Thursday of this week the purpose of which would be to block funding for a border wall, which was one of President Donald Trump’s key campaign promises.

Her pathetic little piece of legislation, which she has so cleverly entitled the “No Taxpayer Funding for the Wall Act,” would, if signed into law, prohibit any federal funding, including funding that has already been appropriated, from going toward wall construction.   And the bill also would block states from using federal funding to build the wall and require the Trump administration to enter into a Senate-approved treaty requiring another country to foot the wall bill.  Moore’s measure would also mandate audits of the project and levy penalties on entities that violate its terms.  This sounds as nutty as Ryan’s bill to “repeal and replace” Obamacare.

And what should come as a surprise to absolutely no one is the fact that so far that she has managed to get “more than three-dozen” of her fellow Democrats to sign on as co-sponsors to her silly little bill.  But Moore has said that she is also very eager to recruit fiscal conservatives and Republicans wary of Trump’s plans for her effort.   She told CBS, “My bill gives amazing opportunities, I think, to people like [Ohio Republican Rep.] Jim Jordan to opt out of building the wall.”  And then went on to say, “I’m trying to mobilize some interest in my bill from deficit hawks.”  Deficit hawks?  So it’s now that this moron becomes concerned about the deficit?

So anyway, I’m only assuming that Ms. Moore, as well as the three-dozen, or so, of her fellow Democrats who have signed on with her, are either too ignorant to understand, simply couldn’t care less, or simply chooses to ignore the fact that it’s poor American blacks who tend to end up paying the highest price for these Illegal immigrants.  Democrats, like Ms. Moore, profess to be the defender of the little people and of minorities and yet rarely do they ever pay attention to blacks except around election time.  And these Democrats aren't moving these illegals into their own neighborhoods, but instead are dumping them off.

As more and more of those here illegally choose to leave the US voluntarily, and as President Trump sees to it that more are deported, as he's currently doing with the criminal illegals, there will be less to provide the benefits for.  Some are leaving and heading to Canada, where they're now seeking asylum from Canada.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed that many more do the same.  Also there's more headed back home to Mexico since President Trump won the election, and our border agents tell us those seeking to immigrate to our nation has slowed by approximately 40-50%.  That's a great beginning from what was going on during the tenure of Barry “Almighty”.

Because where Barry was forcing our ICE/Border agents to violate the oaths they took to secure and protect our borders from what was nothing less than an invasion that consisted of those not just from Mexico, but people from all over Central America, the Caribbean and even the Middle East, those who Barry called 'refugees', President Trump is now allowing them to do their job and is even encouraging them to do so.  In fact he intends to increase their numbers. [There was at one point a video of some ICE/border agents testifying before Congress about how Barry “Almighty” was forcing them to violate their oaths. That video has since been taken down.  Hmmm.]

There are at least 900,000 individuals in this country illegally who are at the top of the list of those who have been identified for deportation.  And were it not for the protection from deportation they received from Barry they would have long ago been sent back to where they came from.  And it’s many of these individual who have been provided refuge, against American law, in the hundreds of ‘sanctuary cities’ spread all across the country.  Despite having been ordered to leave they didn't, and no one seemed to care.  President first priority will be to deport these criminal illegals and once they have been deported, the next priority will be to address the rest of those here illegally.

So why is it that Democrats, like Ms. Moore, have no problem with allowing the invading our county that takes place every day and, potentially, from all parts of the world to continue?  They seem to mind not at all that criminal illegal aliens are living here and are roaming our streets killing innocent legal United States citizens who depend on their government to protect them.  And our ‘fake news’ media refuses to identify and report these illegal alien crimes that are happening daily!  They are in lock step with a Democrat Party that is favor of open borders and total lawlessness all in an effort to gain new Democrat voters!  Because that’s what this is really all about.

RYANCARE, INSTEAD OF ONE STEP FORWARD, IS TWO STEPS BACK…

Ok look, now I know I may not be as smart as a member of Congress, either in the Senate or the House, but I seriously don’t understand why it is that the Republicans seem so determined to make this entire “repeal and replace” process regarding Obamacare so difficult.  I saw Paul Ryan on Fox News last night and all he kept repeating, nearly ad nauseam, was how the Republicans are keeping their promise to “repeal and replace.”  I can only assume that he thinks we’re all too stupid to recognize that what’s currently being offered is nothing more than smoke and mirrors.  And I’ll tell you right now, if what we’re seeing now becomes a reality, then come 2018 Ryan will no longer be Speaker, McConnell will no longer be leading the Senate and the Republican Party will be returned to the status which they seem to be much better suited.  Now either these guys think we’re bluffing or they simply don’t care, but either way the American people will have their say.

And so here we are, seven long years later, years spent listening to these same Republicans continue to make the same promise to “repeal and replace” Obamacare.  And after years of waiting for them to come up with what we all hoped would be viable plan to do just that, what do we get?  We get a bill from House Speaker Paul Ryan which, for all practical purposes, is even worse than Obamacare!  Seriously?  And when you stop to think about it, it’s a rather impressive feat because, in their pursuit of a lower score from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), Democrats made Obamacare just about as bad as they thought they could get away with while still calling it “universal” health care.  While many other analyses are focused on how Ryan’s American Health Care Act will make life worse for certain lower income Americans compared to Obamacare, pointing out the similarities is more important for understanding its politics.

Under Ryancare, most people will get coverage through their employer, just like with Obamacare.  And in both cases, many of the poor will get coverage through Medicaid. And with both plans, lower/middle income people without employer coverage will be encouraged to use tax credits to help buy ‘regulated’ private insurance.  Neither Obamacare nor Ryancare has any real price control measures to deal with our dramatically out-of-control healthcare prices.  Both plans leave groups of Americans without insurance they consider to be ‘affordable’.  Finally, both are heavily “financed” by a Cadillac tax on expensive employer-provided insurance that is delayed for a decade, resulting in no one expecting the tax to ever go into effect.  There are four major areas where Ryancare does differ from Obamacare, but even here, most of Ryancare’s provisions are only a bad funhouse mirror version of very similar Obamacare policies.  They are:

1) Medicaid:   The most important difference is that Ryancare will change how the Medicaid expansion works and is funded starting in 2020 by freezing enrollment and creating a per capita cap, which places funding limits on each person. Of course, that might never happen. If the GOP doesn’t feel comfortable implementing these changes now, I don’t know how they think it will be easier in the middle of a presidential election.   This Medicaid cut will cause about 4-6 million people to lose Medicaid coverage, according to S&P (which I need to cite since there is no CBO score).

2) Tax credits:  The second most important difference is that Ryancare will, in 2020, replace Obamacare’s age/regional based, means-tested, refundable tax credits to buy private insurance with age-based, sort-of-means-tested, refundable tax credits to buy private insurance.   On the plus side, the more modest means-testing design in Ryancare means the tax credits should be slightly easier for the government to administer, will make insurance more affordable for some Americans who currently make too much to qualify for Obamacare credits, and somewhat addresses the issue that means-testing created a big effective marginal tax on lower income people.   The issue is that Ryancare’s “fixes” the problem created by Obamacare only providing lower income Americans enough tax credits to make insurance affordable by basically making tax credits equally insufficient for everyone. And since they aren’t pegged to the cost of health care, the Ryancare tax credits could become less sufficient every year.

3) Individual mandate replaced by late enrollment penalty:  Ryancare gets rid of the deeply unpopular individual mandate. In its place, it imposes a late enrollment penalty that’s supposed to nudge people to buy private insurance in a timely manner. If you fail to buy coverage for awhile, you will need to pay 30 percent more when you do buy insurance.   Both systems suffer from the basic flaw that they don’t make insurance truly affordable for everyone but punish you if for some reason you feel you can’t make your premiums. Obamacare has hardship exemptions for the mandate, though.

4) Taxes repealed:  Finally, Ryancare repeals almost all of the other Obamacare taxes, meaning it probably won’t pay for itself. Repealing the Obamacare taxes on the rich will likely be viewed by many as being nothing more than just a big giveaway to the rich.

Ryancare is not a change of structure from Obamacare. It’s a change of scope.  The big similarities, and the fact that even the differences are more a matter of size than radical policy redesign, completely undermines the GOP’s ideological and political position. It’s not based around a coherent theory for what is wrong with health care, nor does it offer any big new ideas to fix our problems.  By comparison, there are intellectual theories behind how plans like the old Wyden-Bennett bill or Medicare-for-All could improve conditions with big system-wide changes.  There is no principle or story behind Ryancare to explain how, even in theory, it could make things better. There is no reason to even hope it could make things cheaper or coverage better. There is no way to look at what is really nothing other than a worse version of Obamacare and not conclude that it would have an impact similar to Obamacare.

So now Republicans are left trying to explain why they kept claiming Obamacare was such a terrible existential threat that it can be completely fixed by cutting rich people’s taxes and making it less generous to some people in need.  As a result, the ideological Republicans aren’t happy, the more pragmatic Republicans who would need to implement it aren’t happy, the non-partisan groups aren’t happy, and even the political hacks don’t know how to sell it.  The Republican PR team is honestly left pointing to the fact that Ryancare has fewer pages as being proof that it’s better.   Selling Obamacare was almost impossible for Democrats; selling what is really nothing more than an even worse version of Obamacare should prove even more difficult for the Republicans.  Frankly, I don’t understand why it is that the Republicans seem so determined to make things so much more difficult than they need to be.  A lot more difficult!

And I’ll tell ya something else, the Republicans are going to have one chance, just one, to get this thing right, and while Ryan may think he’s being pretty clever, the truth is, he’s not fooling anybody.  Personally, I think Ryan, like most politicians, is pretty lazy, hence is recent and lame justification regarding the eight day work schedule planned for the House next month.  And while Ryan may think he’s pretty cute, I think most folks realize that he’s doing little more than trying to appease his big donors in such a way that will allow him to claim he tried his best to keep things as close as possible to the original Obamacare.  At least he can say, "See I tried to keep it as the establishment wants, but that's just not going to fly".  His big donors can't say he didn't try.  I think Ryan has known all along that this rendition was never going to pass the smell test.  So now let’s move forward with a serious attempt to “repeal and replace” and leave this attempt behind.

If the GOP insists upon pushing millions of poorer Republican voters, who rely on Medicaid so they can get medical treatment and survive, off of Medicaid, the GOP will surely lose its present majority position in government and the mantra of “Make America Great Again” will be relegated to bumpersticker status in much the same way that “Hope and Change” was.  It's called cutting off your nose to spite your face, I think.  Alternatively, we can replace Obamacare and move on to accomplish a hundred other important tasks that need to occur in order for “Make America Great Again” to become a reality.  The stars will never again align like this in our lifetime.  If Republicans blow this opportunity the “Make America Great Again” is dead and the Democrats, like the Phoenix, will rise again.  And America will go into steep socio-economic and moral decline while the borders are thrown wide open and our civilization declines.

Those who now seem to be so determined in their effort to shove through what is nothing more than a soup sandwich do so not only at their own political peril, but it also places at risk the future of our country.  Because their continuing opposition to this new Americanism will most assuredly destroy this country just as quickly as the regressive left in this country will.  Republicans need to focus on getting the job done, and done right, while keeping the promises that were made so that we can then move on to trade, taxation, immigration, and a hundred other things that are now, after eight years of Barry “Almighty”, in urgent need of being addressed!  Come on people, it’s just not that freaking complicated.  And if a simple old soul like myself is able to recognize that fact then why is it that those in positions of power seem to be so freaking mystified by the entire concept of doing what it is that they promised and in the way that they promised to do it!

ONE MORE REASON WHY THE DEMOCRAT GENE POOL CONTINUES TO REMAIN SO SHALLOW…

Well it would seem that, at least in the case of Timmy Kaine and his number two son ‘Woody’, the nut doesn’t fall very far from the tree.  Because word comes that ‘Woody’ was arrested in Minnesota over the weekend for rioting against President Trump.  Linwood Michael Kaine, aka ‘Woody’, was arrested with four other malcontents and charged with second-degree riot for his activities during a pro-Trump rally held in the rotunda of the Minnesota state capitol in St. Paul on Saturday.

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, around 400 Trump supporters and 50 protesters were gathered at the “March 4 Trump” event.  And apparently ‘Woody’ was with a group of morons who set off fireworks in the rotunda, as well as a smoke bomb.  When ‘Woody’ was being apprehended, he reportedly “turned around and squared up to fight” with the arresting officer,” and I’d like to think that, maybe, in the ensuing tussle, ‘Woody’ took a tumble and maybe ‘bumped’ his head.

Anyway, it apparently took three cops and a chemical spray to subdue ‘Woody’, after he was identified as one of the rioters who used fireworks to disrupt the rally.  ‘Woody’ and four others were arrested on suspicion of second-degree riot and a sixth person was cited for disorderly conduct.  Rioters clashed with Trump supporters in the Capitol rotunda after they disrupted the proceedings with air horns, whistles and chants.  And at one point, someone even set off a smoke bomb.  Woody?  Maybe!

It was according to a St. Paul police spokesman that ‘Woody’, a Minneapolis resident who attended Carleton College, chose to resist arrest when confronted by officers outside the Capitol grounds.  He was later released from the Ramsey County jail on Tuesday morning pending further investigation, law enforcement officials said.  No charges were filed against him or his four compadres who were arrested by St. Paul police.  I guess it pays to have good connections, like daddy.

Timmy, as to be expected, later issued a statement on Tuesday expressing support for his son.  It said, in part, “We love that our three children have their own views and concerns about current political issues.”  And it went on to say, “They fully understand the responsibility to express those concerns peacefully.”  So is that was ‘Woody’ was doing, expressing his concerns peacefully?  Just with pepper spray, fireworks and a smoke bomb?  Timmy did such a wonderful job of parenting.

Now as it just so happens it was the Students for a Democratic Society, the radical left-wing group, that advertised it was holding ‘counter-protests’ at the capitol building.  And while it’s unclear whether or not ‘Woody’ was part of that group, knowing his father as we all do and his rather questionable history of cavorting with some rather unsavory characters while on what he refers to as being a ‘mission trip’ to Central America in the 80s, I think the answer is pretty clear that he was.

Students for a Democratic Society, which launched violent protests all over the country during the Vietnam War, was supposedly dissolved in 1969.  So were young Woody and his imbecilic friends perhaps trying to take us all back to those bad old days by digging up the rotting corpse of SDS?   So while I am delighted that Hitlery is not now running the country, I am now doubly delighted that the moron who raised this pathetic little creep isn't sitting in the number two chair either.

And from what I’ve been able to find out, the Trump supporters had permission to have the rally in the Rotunda of the State Capital while ‘Woody’ and his fellow miscreants did not.  They should have all been arrested when they showed up to cause havoc.  Many of the Trump supporters were sprayed with pepper spray by the protestors who should also be charged with assault.  The police were far too nice to these anarchists who claimed to be protesting but were simply rioting.

And so it is that I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Timmy for helping Hitlery lose the most crucial election in my lifetime.  He definitely contributed to the justification to vote for Trump.  Along with ‘Chuckie’ Schumer, ‘Raghead’ Ellison, Perez, Fauxahontas, Hitlery, Barry, Maxine Waters, Pelosi and a host of others who strongly made the case for voting Republican.  While we can only hope that the Democrats are heading into oblivion, it’s still far too early to tell.

But the Democrats are reaching total desperation as their "Party" would seem to be disintegrating right before our very eyes.  All the Democrats have going for them is Pelosi, Schumer, Ellison, and Waters making absurdly crazy comments with no logic involved, and Franken is doing his best to look like a complete idiot, which for him comes naturally.  And while everyone I know has been turned off by the slime and corruption of the Democrats, so far we’re less than impressed with the Republicans.

DEMOCRATS HAVE NO INTEREST IN KEEPING AMERICA SAFE…

Apparently Keith Ellison, the newly minted second in command at the DNC, doesn’t care all that much for President Trump’s latest executive order on immigration.  I say that only because it was during an appearance this week on MSNBC that Ellison described it as being both “irrational” and “mean.”  Ellison, the recently elected deputy chairman of the Democrat National Committee, told host Mika Brzezinski that while President Trump’s order “doesn’t ban every Muslim in the world … all the people who are banned are banned because they are Muslim.”  He went on to say, “If you look at the countries where people who committed acts of terrorism in the United States come from, those people are not — those countries are not on the list.”

Ellison continued by saying, “It’s an irrational list.”  And then went on to say, “It’s a mean list, and just let me say this. In Minneapolis, we are very proud of our Somali-American community.”  And he added, “They are making, starting businesses, running for office.”  And then he said, “Somalia is going through a massive drought and a famine, and those people could be banned from getting relief through coming to the U.S.”  He complained, “This ban, this is inhumane, and it’s cruel and wrong.”  Look, I realize that Ellison is in no way a fan of this country, but personally I am not for allowing into this country more of those whom we cannot adequately vet to make sure we’re not allowing anyone into this country who wishes to do us harm.

Look, while I do not mind disagreeing with our esteemed Mr. Ellison, on nearly any issue, what we do not now need flooding into our country are more inbred, unemployable, functionally-retarded third world malcontents, 90% of whom will exploit the majority white taxpayer-supported welfare system while wrapping themselves up in faux "Islamophobia" victimhood, all care of anti-American leftwing kooks like Ellison.  This massive influx of refugees flooding into our country from the most f*cked up area on the entire globe represents what is a very clear and present danger.  And Ellison and his many Democrat friends would be able to see that were it not for the fact that they are blinded by their politics and their hatred of America.

And then there's this newly formed DNC team of Perez/Ellison, otherwise known in political circles as, Venezuela meets the Caliphate.  And if we’re using these two scumbags as being our gauge for what the future may hold for the Democrat Party, and America, I would argue that they are working to make America EVEN GREATER by ensuring that we will have a Trump victory in 2020.  It would seem that this dynamic due remains very much in favor of the same failed strategy that resulted in handing the White House to Donald Trump in the first place.  That being, or course, that more of the same anti-white racist "group identity" politics/policies thrown in the face of the rational white majority who so soundly rejected it, and will continue to reject it.

And so as this infestation from the third world continues, however limited, Americans had best stand up for America because this Moslem horde has its sights set on us.  And let’s not allow ourselves to be fooled into believing that this is a religion, because what it is is a cult, a cult based on hate, violence and death.  Don't allow yourself to continue to fall for the idiotic rhetoric of the past, about how what we’re dealing with is to be seen as a “religion of peace”.  Let us not become another Europe that has now nearly been lost completely to this infestation.  Woman and children fleeing their country, my ass!  Look at the videos and what you’ll see are fighting age men streaming into our country, all of which should be viewed as potential terrorists.

Ellison, as well as the Democrat Party as a whole, apparently has no objection to terrorists entering into our country along with the good people who intend us no harm, and sees no reason to pause immigration from terrorist hotbeds until a better vetting system is available.  I heard some Democrat claim we have a great vetting system in place and don't need to improve it.  The 9/11 terrorists passed through our great vetting system, as did the Boston Marathon bombers and one of the San Bernardino shooters.  Add to that all the would-be terrorists who were caught before they got a chance to do what they came here to do, and the evidence is overwhelming that the vetting system we have is not working.

All that President Trump is trying to do here is to try to keep our country safe.  And all that Mr. Ellison and the Democrat Party is trying to do, is to make our country more vulnerable to those who seek to kill as many American as possible.  They know full well that this has nothing to with banning Moslems.  What it has everything to do with is providing enough time to come up with a proper screening process that will allow us to better control who it is that we allow into our country.  No one has the right to come into this country, it is we, the citizens of this great country, who have the right to determine who it is that I allowed into OUR country.  And if there is any question as to what your motives may be, we have the right to say no.

WHY IS IT THAT OLD LATE NIGHT TV HOSTS NEVER GO AWAY???

I’ve never been able to quite figure out why, when it comes to politics, anyone would want to be taking their cues from those morons, past or present, whose only claim to fame is that they host, or have hosted, a late night television show.  Once upon a time, a very long time ago, I did on occasion like to tune into watch Letterman.  But as time went on it was somewhere along the way that his need to lecture us regarding our politics seemed to take over and he became much less enjoyable to watch.  To the point that when he finally retired I never really watched him at all.  He had become more than a little boring.  Politics wasn’t then, just as it still isn’t, why I would watch any of these late night losers.  They are all left leaning losers with whom I have absolutely no interest in watching.

And so it was that recently Letterman chose to resurface, coming out of hibernation to in order to slam President Trump and various members of his administration in a lengthy ‘interview’ with New York magazine, explaining that he’d still love to interview the real estate mogul-turned-president one final time.  And according to Letterman, today’s late-night shows have an “obligation” to challenge the president, and described how he would interview Trump if he could get one final shot at him.  He said, “I would just start with a list. ‘You did this. You did that. Don’t you feel stupid for having done that, Don? And who’s this goon Steve Bannon, and why do you want a white supremacist as one of your advisers? Come on, Don, we both know you’re lying. Now, stop it.'”

Now I may be wrong, but I don’t recall ever hearing about how Dave interviewed Barry in such a disrespectful manner.  I don’t recall Dave saying, “Hey Barry, what’s it like having as your vice President a pervert who enjoys skinny dipping in front of female Secret Service personnel?”  Or asking, “Barry, did you really think that whole ‘Fast and Furious’ gun running scheme was a good idea?”   Or how he could have said to Barry, “Man, I thought it was a work of genius to use the IRS to go after those scumbag conservative groups!”  Nor did he ask, “Do you ever have any second thoughts about giving all that taxpayer money to Solyndra?”  I mean the number of questions he could have asked Barry “Almighty” goes on and on but, strangely enough, Dave never bothered asking any of them.

So anyway, what follows are but a few excerpts from New York‘s interview with Dave:
On his previous interviews with Trump, before he announced for the presidency, Letterman said, “He was a joke of a wealthy guy. We didn’t take him seriously. He’d sit down, and I would just start making fun of him. He never had any retort. He was big and doughy, and you could beat him up. He seemed to have a good time, and the audience loved it, and that was Donald Trump. Beyond that, I remember a friend in the PR business told me that he knew for a fact — this was three or four presidential campaigns ago — that Donald Trump would never run for president; he was just monkeying around for the publicity. So I assumed that was the story and now it turns out he’s the president.”  Funny, he was never that disrespectful when it came to Barry “Almighty”.

And on Trump’s Cabinet and advisers, he said, “It’s delightful. Kellyanne Conway was my favorite for a long time. This thing about her telling everyone, ‘Go buy Ivanka’s shoes; I’m going to go buy Ivanka’s shoes. Hell, I’ll buy you a pair of Ivanka’s shoes.’ Then they had to counsel her. Boy, if this administration decides you need counseling — whoa. And poor Sean Spicer is a boob who just got out of a cab and now here he is. Then the other kid, is it Miller?”  He said, “[Stephen Miller.] Wow, that guy is creepy. He fell out of a truck. And the guy from Exxon, Rex Tillerson. Don would say, “Rex, if you’re talking to your friends, ask them” — I’m sure the Russians groomed Trump. They gave him tips: “You want to be an authoritarian dictator? Sure, that’s not a problem. We’ll tell you how to do it, for God’s sake.”

It was on Trump’s dust-up with Rep. John Lewis that Letterman also ad an opinion.  He said, “Holy God. First of all, because I’m always thinking about myself, I think, I was about John Lewis’s age when he marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge. Would I have had the guts to do that? The all-talk John Lewis goes down there and gets a goddamned skull fracture. I mean, Trumpy will never have to worry about a skull fracture because of the hair. Thank you! How do you know if Donald Trump is lying? His lips are moving. Thank you! But in addition to every other thing that’s wrong with the Trump, he’s ignorant in a way that’s insulting to the office, insulting to America, insulting to human rights, insulting to civil rights, insulting to John Lewis. Trump saying that broke my heart.”

Look, I just remember the tantrum that Letterman pitched when Leno got the ‘Tonight Show’ job and he didn’t.  What a crybaby!  Maybe that’s what made old Dave snap, I’m not sure.  But the proof was in the pudding because it was only a handful of times, over the years, that he never topped Leno in the ratings.  But to tell you the truth I never thought Leno was all that funny either, he was a bit less obvious about his politics, however, which did make it a bit easier to watch him.  But none of these late night ‘comedians’ are someone who should be sought out for their political insight or because of their deep and awe-inspiring intellect.  I mean let’s face it, none of them are particularly bright, so what would make anyone think that their opinion on any issue might really matter?

Letterman destroyed late night television, at least for me, with his massive ego and ignorant political commentaries.  He was known for his stunts like adjusting his tie, or driving thru a McDonalds drive thru several times.  It grew old very fast and he just couldn’t face the fact that it was time to go.  He was another of those who had become so addicted to the spotlight he couldn’t see the end was at hand.  Now he throws in his two cents worth on our President.  And he has joined the ranks of Al Gore with the ridiculous beard, always a cry for attention.  Frankly, it’s kinda sad.  His "satire" was always too safe to be called "satire".  If you want to be a true satyr you must also go after the politically incorrect topics.  It’s fine to be a coward and to stay safe making only main stream accepted jokes.  But it’s not satire.

And like I said earlier, there was a time when I thought Letterman was pretty good and worth tuning in to watch.  He was almost enjoyable to watch back then.  He had what was a truly innovative approach to late night talk show comedy.  I loved that he had absolutely no patience with celebrity pretentiousness!  When those show businesses twits came on, he insisted that they raise their game and not just sit there looking pretty.  And then, as we got to know him through the Nineties and beyond, his warped political views and even worse personal behavior just turned me off.  He probably stayed on television ten years too long because it was obvious that he was bored with what he was doing.  Too bad.  For a while there he was really fun to watch.

I’M GETTING PRETTY FRUSTRATED!!!

I’ll be honest with you, these days I’m not quite sure who it is that’s more responsible for driving my blood pressure up, imbecilic Democrats like Chuckie Schumer and Stuart Smalley, or RINOs like McConnell, Ryan, McCain and Rubio.  And to tell you the truth, I don’t see a dime’s worth of difference between any of them.  I mean here we have our country headed down the crapper, and all the Democrats can do is whine about how they lost the last election while working to gain some level of revenge against the guy who not only won, but won fair and square.  When is it, exactly, that these low lives plan on growing up?  But while such behavior can, I suppose, be expected from those on the left, it’s these damn RINOs that we’re forced to contend with, who need to be taken out behind the woodshed.

I guess I’m just not sure what it is about the country going down in flames that none of these assholes just don’t understand.  And these damn Democrats are no more unhappy than those of us on the right were when Barry “Almighty” won not just once, but twice.  So Chuckie and Co. need to get over it, and move on for the sake of your country!  And with that said, it’s just once that I wish those on our side would behave as if they were all on the same team, instead of like a bunch of infantile malcontents.  There seems to be no sense of urgency in addressing the sad shape our country is in, which when it comes to the Democrats doesn’t really surprise me because they want the country to come apart at the seams, it’s what they’ve been working on for years.  But the Republicans, I just don’t get.

Republicans have been handed nothing less than a golden opportunity which could very well result in turning back most, if not all, of the damage done by Barry during his time in office, and in so doing improve the life of every single American citizen.  And all that’s being accomplished is a huge insane wasting of so much time.  Our GOP leadership team is a mixture of the completely gutless and totally incompetent, to the point where they come across as not having a clue about what it is that they’re supposed to be doing.  Most of them are people who, while they are quite enamored with their title, simply don’t see the need to do what it is that we the people demand of them.  They’re all very happy to go on Sunday talk shows, but they don’t want to actually do anything, even if they knew what to do.

As for all of this silly Russia stuff, it should have been squelched a long time ago.  There is no there, there and there never has been.  And there’s simply no reason to give credence to what are nothing more than rumors spawned by those who think that Hitlery was somehow cheated out of an election victory.  Hitlery lost because she was the most corrupt and dishonest candidate to ever run for president.  The Democrats know that just as most of those in the state-controlled media do.  But they thought they could pull the wool over the eyes of the American people just long enough to get the old girl into the White House and then be able to maintain the perfect balance in their bizarre leftist little world.  And when that didn’t happen they decided to slander and undermine the winner, Donald Trump.

Of course things would be much better if we actually had a bona fide free press in this country and not some leftwing propaganda smear machine that passes for a free press.  Frankly, I’m not sure what the point is of our media today.  I mean it’s now less than 10 percent of the American people who actually believe anything they hear, because most of what they hear is nothing more than pure leftwing propaganda, and is very easily recognizable as such.  Those who do choose to tune in are being fed only a steady diet of bullshit, and apparently they don’t seem to mind that all their being told is ‘fake news’.  Hell, they might even prefer it that way.  Too many folks today either choose not be bothered with, or couldn’t care less about, the fact that their country is so close to collapsing.  They would rather not think about it.

And you know, disappointment doesn’t even begin describe how I feel when the political antics of our supposed leaders are put on full display.  I saw better examples of leadership back in my days as a member of my local 4-H Club.  With the Democrats the main focus has become destroying the country.  And with the Republicans the main focus in simply playing it safe in the hope of getting re-elected.  But people like me are rapidly running out of reasons to vote for Republicans.  And I’ll tell you right now that if they don’t band together behind this president, and work to save what’s left of my country, my days of voting for Republicans are over.  It was in 2010, 2012 and 2014 that the Republicans essentially lied to me.  And if it turns out in 2016 that they’ve lied to me again, I’m done with them.

And on one final note, there has been much talk, even from myself, about how the Democrat Party can be said, today, to be hanging by a thread.  But, as we all know, if there is one certainty in the ever changing political landscape, it’s that the Republicans have a well-deserved reputation for shooting themselves in both feet, and on what has become a fairly frequent basis.  And it is such occasions as these that typically provide Democrats with numerous lifelines which they would not normally have had access to.  And that were it not but for the opportunities provided by the Republicans themselves, the Democrat Party would have long ago been relegated to the ash heap of American politics.  But sadly, such has not been the case, so America still has that Albatross hanging around her neck.

ARE THE DEMOCRATS DETERMINED TO HEAD OFF INTO THE DARKNESS???

As the Democrats continue to gin up a reason, after reason, for why it was that their ‘perfect’ candidate was defeated by Donald Trump, they continue to be consumed by what can only be described as some sort of a collective mental breakdown.  Because they simply refuse to accept the fact that she lost had much less to do with the victor than it did with their loser.  And for whatever reason, they refuse to see Hitlery as being the most seriously flawed candidate in modern election history.  She was, without a doubt, the most dishonest and the most corrupt candidate to have ever sought the office of president in my lifetime.  And her campaign seemed to be based on nothing more than that it was simply, her turn.  Her turn?   Is that how we are now to determine who it is that will be our president?

And as evidence that the Democrats are willing to grasp onto any straw possible in their quest to somehow justify Hitlery’s rather embarrassing loss, the Democrats have now latched onto what they, and their many allies in the state-controlled media complex, think is the smoking gun when it comes to any potential collusion between the Trump campaign and those evil Russians.  That being, of course, that Jeff Sessions, who was then a sitting U.S. Senator, and now our Attorney General, had some meetings with the Russian Ambassador, and then chose to lie about it.  What we’re supposed to believe here is that something clandestine and/or nefarious took place that could possibly help the Democrats come up with an explanation for how someone like Trump was able to beat someone as ‘qualified’ as Hitlery.

And it is the latest example of what has become a continuing, and somewhat bizarre, ‘saga’ that comes to us courtesy of Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison, who, believe it or not, is now the new deputy chairman of the Democrat National Committee.  And it’s Ellison who makes it all very clear when it comes to just how far gone the Democrat Party has now become.  You see, it was just this past Thursday that Ellison became the first to go so far as to suggest that Attorney General Jeff Sessions actually deserves jail time for failing to mention his meetings with Russia’s ambassador during his confirmation hearing in January.  And in a statement issued Thursday morning, Ellison asserted that Sessions “lied under oath” in his January 10 Senate confirmation hearing about the meetings with Kremlin’s diplomat, Sergey Kislyak.

Ellison said, “Since it has now come to light that Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath about meeting with Russian officials during the campaign, we must be entirely clear on one thing: perjury is a felony and may be punishable by prison for up to five years.”  I guess I’d be curious to know how it is that these politicians, which you have to assume are reasonably intelligent people, have now allowed themselves to become so completely unglued over the results of a single election.  They, and their many minions in the press have spent what has been I’m not sure how many years convincing themselves that because of all her supposed qualifications there was simply no way that Hitlery Clinton would not become the next president.  And especially after the Republicans nominated Trump.  And yet she lost.

So in getting back to Sessions, it was on Thursday of this week that he announced he that will be recusing himself from any Justice Department and FBI investigations involving activities of the Donald Trump presidential campaign, on which he had served as an adviser.  Because on Wednesday it was revealed that last year, when Sessions was still serving as a senator, he had two encounters with Kislyak.  One meeting occurred on September 8 in Sessions’ Senate office.  The other was on the sidelines of an event hosted by the Heritage Foundation in July.  Numerous other ambassadors were also in attendance.  Personally, I just don’t see the need for him to recuse himself, as I doubt that it will satisfy the Democrats anyway.  But, if he feels that it’s right thing to do, then who am I to criticize?

All of this craziness started because of how Sessions chose to respond to a question during his confirmation testimony.  It was a very long and convoluted question that came from his then-colleague, Al ‘Stuart Smalley’ Franken, about whether or not Sessions had had any contacts with Russian government officials during the presidential campaign.  Franken framed the question by citing a breaking story from the Communist News Network (CNN) that some Trump campaign advisers may have had contacts with Russian operatives.  Sessions answered saying that, as a Trump “surrogate,” he did not have any such contacts.  However, it was this past Thursday that we heard several Democrats insisting that Sessions had lied by denying having contacts with Russian officials.

And while some have called for Sessions’ recusal, others, the more fanatical of the party, have since gone so far as to actually demand his resignation.  It should come as a surprise to no one that this leftwing loon, Ellison, was the first one to mention the prospect of a prison stint.  Sessions said in his statement that he did nothing wrong and did not purposely misled his colleagues.  He pointed out that Franken’s question was framed in terms of any meetings in his capacity on the campaign.  He said that as a senator and member of the Armed Services Committee he routinely met with foreign diplomats.  In a press conference on Thursday afternoon he said that he met with Ukraine’s ambassador the day before he met with Kislyak.  Any ‘reasonable’ person would see that there is no there, there.  But not the Democrats!

And really, jail time for Sessions?  Really?  It's no wonder the Democrats are in such complete disarray and, apparently, destined to remain so for some time, especially if Ellison is an example of Democrat leadership.  So Ellison wants Sessions to go to prison for doing his job?  I can’t wait to see what racist garbage these two idiots who are now in charge of running the DNC will come up with at election time.  They will likely succeed in driving what few middle of the road Democrat voters that may still remain from the party entirely.  It’s kind of amazing what desperation will drive some people to do.  I mean, wouldn’t you think that they would want to put the humiliating defeat of Hitlery Clinton as far behind them as they could and as quickly as possible?  And yet they seem bizarrely fixated on doing just the opposite.

After a year of calling everyone and everything racist, the Democrats finally found a real one.  He is the new Deputy Chairman of the DNC, Keith Ellison.  Mr. Ellison is best known for his work in the Nation of Islam with ‘Calypso Louie’ Farrakhan. The Nation of Islam is noted for its black supremacist and anti-Semitic platform.  He is also known for being the first Moslem elected to Congress. The Democrats appear to be on a self-imposed mission to destroy themselves.  They are pursuing an obvious Socialist agenda which does not have wide appeal in the U.S.  Their choice of candidates, as exemplified by recently fielding Hitlery Clinton, one of the two most hated people ever to run for public office was doomed from the beginning.  And today, the Democrat "bench", like the Democrat gene pool, remains pretty shallow.

And it may be sooner rather than later that we will see all but the most insanely demented Democrats coming to the realization that the Democrat Party is simply no longer a party that they can continue to support.  And while I suspect very few would be able to bring themselves to vote for Republicans, it’s likely that many could, however, find the Libertarian Party more appealing and as being an acceptable alternative.  After all, Libertarians favor legalizing pot, removing those restrictions resulting in high drug prices and slow drug approval times, avoiding senseless wars, favor open borders, plus being pro-choice and very much LGBT friendly.  People need to become involved with whatever party reflects your values.  And I think it’s fair to say that todays’s Democrat Party has become value-less.

Because the insanity being exhibited by the Democrat Party now seems to be in full swing.  These swamp denizens tend to panic when the water level starts dropping and they're pulled toward the swirl over the drain.  I have no emotional attachment to any of these people. As a colluded pack of reprobates, carpetbagger Democrats and RINO across the aisle have been building their own power and bank accounts for decades.  The election of President Trump, his trashing the status quo, the revelation of our state-controlled media as nothing more than a propaganda entity, etc. combine to make for a certain level on entertainment.  And if a few conservative judges are appointed to the SCOTUS during the carnage, I'll be very happy.  But the left will not go quietly into the night, they continue to prove that every day.

And I would very much like to think that the American people, or at least most of them, are intelligent enough to be able to see this ‘circus’ for what is.  A political party that now seems to be in full self-destruct mode and desperate to demonstrate that they still possess some level of power.  And it’s kinda funny really, because the current predicament in which the Democrats now find themselves is essentially of their own making.  After all, they were the ones who stuck with Barry in his effort to “fundamentally transform” this country, they were the ones to stuck with him as they watched over 1000 legislative seats, a significant number of governorship, along with first the U.S. House, then the Senate, and then finally the White House as well, all slip from their control and into Republican hands.  This is all their own fault!

DEMOCRATS CHOOSE OLD WHITE GUY FOR RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT’S SPEECH…

Like most of those who chose to tune in last night to watch President Trump’s first speech before a joint session of Congress, I came away very impressed, very optimistic and very comfortable in my decision to vote for him.  At the end of the speech I knew I had done the right thing for my country.  I came away feeling more confident about the future than I have been in eight years.  And I might add, the speech was quite refreshing when compared to the narcissistic drivel that we were constantly exposed to by Barry.  It has been years since I had listened to one of these speeches from beginning to end and was left wanting more when it finally was over.

And it was in choosing who it would be to make their response to the president’s speech that the Democrats apparently chose to go with folksy, with just a touch of senile.  And they chose as their messenger a former Democrat governor of Kentucky, Steve Beshear.  However, it was Mr. Beshear who got the Democrats' response to President Trump's address off to somewhat of a rocky start after mistakenly introducing himself as a Republican.  And I must admit he did have me scratching my head when he referred to himself as being, first and foremost, a proud Republican.  And I have since heard more than a few Democrats are now questioning his selection.

Here is a little excerpt from Mr. Beshear’s response:  "From 2007 to 2017. I'm a private citizen now. I'm here in Lexington, Kentucky some 400 miles from Washington at a diner with neighbors, Democrats and Republicans, where we watched the president's address. I'm a proud Democrat, but first and foremost I'm a proud Republican, and Democrat and mostly American. Like many of you, I am worried about the future of this nation. Look, I grew up in Kentucky in a small town called Dawson springs. My dad and granddad were Baptist preachers. My family owned a funeral home, and my wife Jane and I have been married for almost 50 years."

So I watched about as much of it as I could, if for no other reason than because of the potential entertainment value, but when, as is usually the case with Democrats, he veered off into the weeds and started spewing the same old leftist bullshit about how President Trump has loaded his cabinet with billionaires and proceeded to call Trump's warring with intelligence agencies, the judiciary and the press 'reckless,' for the most part I pretty much just stopped listening.  When he began by saying, “Mr. President, as a candidate, you promised to be a champion for families struggling to make ends meet and I hope you live up to that promise,” it became blah, blah, blah.

Then he began attacking the president for what he said was President Trump’s not living up to his word.  And he continued by saying, “But one of the very first executive orders makes it harder for those families to afford a mortgage.”  Then he proceeded to go after Trump for wanting to roll back what has been the disastrous Dodd-Frank legislation consisting of regulations that were put in place after the Democrat created 2008 financial crash.  And then he went on to say, “And you picked a cabinet of billionaires and Wall Street insiders.”  And then charged, “That's not being our champion, that's being Wall Street's champion.”  Just more blah, blah, blah.

And it was from there that he went on to say, “And even more troubling, you and your Republican allies in Congress seem determined to rip affordable health insurance away from millions of Americans who most need it.”  Now of course he didn’t bother to mention anything about the millions of folks who are now faced with escalating premiums and huge deductibles.  But he did say, “Does the Affordable Care Act need some repairs? Sure it does.”  He then added, “But so far every Republican idea to replace the Affordable Care Act would reduce the number of Americans covered, despite your promises to the contrary.”  Even more blah, blah, blah.

And in being the good Democrat, which I guess is what he must consider himself to be, he felt compelled to bring up Russia, which the president didn't mention in his speech, and went after Trump for some of his so-called ‘petty’ fights.  He said, “President Trump also needs to understand that people may disagree with him from time to time, but that doesn't make them his enemies.”  And he added, “When the president attacks the loyalty and the credibility of our intelligence agencies, the court system, the military, the free press, individual Americans, simply because he doesn't like what they say, he's eroding our democracy and that's reckless.”

But it was when Beshear went on to speak of what ‘real leaders’ do that this entire response was reduced to pure silliness.  He said, “Real leaders don't spread derision and division.”  And then he went on to add, “Real leaders strengthen, they unify, they partner and they offer real solutions, instead of ultimatums and blame.”  So I found myself wondering, is that what he saw in Barry?  A leader who unified, partnered and was someone who offered real solutions?  Because if that’s the case this guy is far more demented than just being confused about which political party it is that he belongs to.  Because by that definition Barry was nothing less than an abysmal failure.

This charade of a response proves yet again that the Democrat Party is no longer for the people or for America.  What this response became about was trying to con more people into voting for Democrat candidates.  This despite the fact that it’s Democrat policies, as well as everything their leftist ideology represents, that have been nothing less than an abject failure.  America and its citizens are now forced to live with the consequences of both, we see this every day and all around us.  Whether it’s this twisted mentality toward open borders, allowing in a flood of refugees or high cost healthcare, to name just a few, America just can’t take anymore.

And while I sure former governor Beshear is a nice guy, it was as soon as he began spewing nothing but typical Democrat rhetoric that has no connection to reality that he simply lost all credibility, and therefore any reason to keep listening to him.  He came across as a doddering old fool who is, like most Democrats, so completely out of touch with what most Americans want and need, and he once again made quite clear why it was that Trump won.  What’s most important to the Democrat Party is not what’s most important to the majority of Americans.  And still the party continues to drift further and further to the left expecting that Americans will drift with it.

CAN’T SAY I’VE EVER BEEN A FAN OF PAUL RYAN…

I can’t say that I’ve ever been a fan of ‘RINO’ Paul Ryan, to the point where during his last campaign for re-election I went so far as to donate to his primary opponent.  But to no avail.  Because the imbeciles that comprise his congressional district saw fit to re-elect him, choosing to ignore completely the fact that he is no conservative.  And apparently I am far from being alone in holding a rather low opinion of Speaker Ryan.  Betsy McCaughey, a former Donald Trump economic advisor, recently said that Ryan should step down if he cannot pass an Obamacare repeal package.  Speaking to radio host John Castimatidis on AM 970 in New York, McCaughey said, “If he can’t do his job as Speaker, to hold these Republicans together and get a repeal and replace bill through, somebody else should be Speaker.”

Ms. McCaughey, the former lieutenant governor of New York, said that “Obamacare is in a death spiral,” and she accused Speaker Ryan of pushing for what amounts to “Obamacare-lite.”  Gee, I sure can’t argue with that.  I’d say Ms. McCaughey has hit the nail right on the proverbial head.  McCaughey is not the first Republican to oppose the Ryan plan to replace Obamacare.  House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC) said that the Ryan plan’s refundable tax credits could amount to a new “entitlement program.”  Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX) has said that taxing expensive employer-sponsored health insurance plans creates a new “Cadillac tax.”  And it was Ms. McCaughey who also made it quite clear that she doesn’t think that Ryan is in line with Trump’s agenda.

Ms. McCaughey said, “Ryan has attached things to his version of the replacement bill that are very unpopular. He’s got to get on board with Donald Trump, because Donald Trump’s program is popular.”  And she argued that limiting the tax deductibility of health coverage raise taxes on half of America.  She said, “That’s like stabbing in the back the rust belt union workers who made Donald trump’s amazing victory possible.”  Sometimes I wonder if President Trump hasn’t got just as many enemies within his own party as he seems to have among the Democrats.  Personally, I’m of the opinion that the Republican leadership teams from both Houses of Congress should be summoned to the White House and given an ultimatum, either they do their job or he will go over their head, directly to the people!

But seriously folks, despite all the promises that we’ve heard going all the way back to 2010, I have always questioned the commitment of the Republicans when it comes to the repealing of Obamacare. They only wanted to be seen as posturing to try to repeal it.  They all assumed that Hitlery would be in office, and that Obamacare would become a permanent fixture just like Social Security, and that nobody would ever dare even mention its repeal after that.  They didn't even have a plan to repeal it.  They lied, it’s just that simple.  The Republican Party has been infested by RINOs, whose job it is to absorb the backlash against the left's charge towards globalism and Marxism.  People vote for the perceived opposition, only to watch the perceived opposition barely fall short, time and time again.

Now they are struggling with how to help enable the left without being too obvious to their constituents.  Some like Ryan have just given up and are now all-out lefties.  Frankly I’m not sure if Ryan was ever opposed to Obamacare.  He only opposes the left for show and then goes back to his constituents and tells them how hard he has worked to stop the left, and although he fell short, with more votes and money, he will get back up and keep swinging.  That's how these RINOs roll. They are not opposition to the Democrats, but rather are there to prevent real opposition from forming.  They absorb all of the votes of people protesting the move towards globalism and socialism, then pretend to oppose it and lose.  Now that Trump is around, the contrast makes it clear they are not legitimate opposition.

The thing is, I don’t think the Republican ever really wanted to repeal Obamacare.  I think they were content to put up just enough of a fight to make it appear as if they were against it, and to then just let it ride until we the American people simply accepted it.  Otherwise, I’m thinking, they would have had an alternative plan long ago just waiting for the opportunity to implement it.   But nope, they're too spineless to even want to try to undo ANY of the Democrat’s crappy ideas.  Every Republican since the 2010 midterms has run on repealing Obamacare and they're still dragging their feet now that they have total control of Congress and the White House.  We long ago needed a serious, and very thorough, house cleaning, especially in the Senate.  McConnell is a liar, he also has campaigned on repealing Obamacare.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that Paul Ryan is simply incapable of being an effective Speaker. Less so than even Boehner was.  And Boehner was a nothing less than a complete disaster and on so many levels.  I think the time has now come for Ryan to finally acknowledge his lack of leadership ability, and for the sake of the American people simply step down.  Since first assuming his current position it has become glaringly obvious, on nearly a daily basis, that he simply does not possess the necessary skillset that would help his fellow citizens who are in desperate need of health insurance at a reasonable cost, for these families are losing their ability to sustain healthy lives.  It is a crime that Paul Ryan refuses to admit his limitations while Americans are suffering the consequences.

Unfortunately, what President Trump will likely be forced into doing is to make clear to the American people that Ryan and McConnell would rather serve as speedbumps on the way to ‘Making America Great Again’ than doing what is necessary to actually accomplish that goal.  They are just as guilty of dragging their feet as are the Democrats.  They should be given a reasonable timeline and if they fail to meet it he should bring the full weight of his office down upon them.  There needs to be an understanding when it comes to who it is that’s running the show.  As for RINOs like McCain and Graham, they should be stripped of any chairmanships or positions of power they currently have.  They are embarrassments.  Examples must be made to convince others to think twice before choosing to obstruct.

President Trump is going have to put the hammer down and soon.  And he must be very cognizant of the fact that the RINOs in Congress will be just as much of an obstacle to his agenda as the Democrats will most assuredly be, and are just as determined in their effort to make sure he fails.  And while, I suppose, there is little pressure he can apply to the Democrats, those Republicans who continue to be obstacles should be leaned on, and leaned on hard.  He must make them understand that they are either with him or against him, and if against him he will do everything in his power to bring an end to their political careers.   And he must continually make it known that there is a select few Republicans who would rather side with the Democrats than do what’s necessary to “Make America Great Again.”
