Impeached Federal Judge and now Congressman Alcee Hastings, is another one of those pathetic member of the Democrat Party from here in Florida, that makes us all so proud. And apparently old Alcee has a bit of bone to pick with Barry "Almighty." You see, Alcess has recently come out and accused Barry of ignoring and disrespecting black groups that were crucial to his winning re-election in November, including the Congressional Black Caucus, black newspapers and historically black colleges. Man, you gotta be kiddin me, right? Just what that hell else does this pathetic old fart think that Barry ought to be doing ‘for’ blacks?
The 76-year-old fossil said the Congressional Black ‘Bonehead’ Caucus sent over to the White House a number of names of those perceived as being qualified for possible cabinet picks, but I guess Barry didn’t agree because it seems that their list was kinda ignored. Both Barry and his administration have been criticized of late, particularly in recent weeks, for what’s been called a lack of diversity in key posts. You know, it’s funny, but despite all the claims of being the champions of diversity, recent history would seem to indicate that the most lily-white, male-dominated administrations are always Democrat while the actually the most diverse one are Republican.
Anyway, old Alcee made his complaints known to the National Newspaper Publishers Association just last week saying that, "The black caucus of Congress then sent 61 names to the White House." Hastings went on to say, "Time went by. Not one of that 61 was selected – not one." Hastings said the Congressional Black Caucus also had to pressure Barry’s campaign to advertise more with black newspapers. Of the $1 Billion the campaign raised, just $1 Million was spent on black newspapers — and that was up from the initial plan of $650,000, he said. Well, gee, I can see why Alcee is so unhappy,
"If I was president of the United States, there is no way in hell that I would raise a billion dollars and don’t spend but a million dollars with people who probably had as much to do with my becoming president as anybody," Hastings charged. First of all, lets all give thanks for the fact that he’s not the president. And second, it’s always easy for someone to claim what they’d do as president when they’re not president. He then proceeded to accuse Barry of not spending enough money on historically black colleges, and said it took nearly a year before he appointed a single historically black college graduate to his administration.
"It was nine months into the administration before he appointed a single person, not just at the cabinet level…none in his first nine months of his administration was from a historically black college," Hastings said. You know, this just goes to prove the point that no matter what, you just can’t make blacks happy. They’re given everything on a silver platter, they don’t really have to work for anything, you can’t fire them without being call a racist, and yet we’ve got mealy-mouthed morons like this goof bitchin because the black guy in the White House hasn’t done more. Give me a break!
