SO, DO I GIVE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ANOTHER CHANCE???

I think I’ve made myself pretty clear that I am less than satisfied with those in Congress who laughingly refer to themselves as being ‘Conservative’ Republicans. To the point where I have said that I am done with them and their party. Because it has been more often than not that what we’ve seen from these same politicians, especially over the entire Trump presidency, was one instance after another where they did nothing more than to aid and abet the Democrats, often quite willingly, in constructing every manner of roadblock/speedbump imaginable in the hope of slowing down or derailing completely President Trump’s ‘America First’ Agenda.

And now we find ourselves with a president who was ‘elected’ courtesy of what was, to put it bluntly, a fraudulent election. And so we still have, at least according to a Quinnipiac University Survey, at least 75% of Republicans who remain very much in favor of President Trump continuing to play a prominent role in where it is that the Republican Party goes from here. And it’s also 87% of Republicans who said that he should not be barred from holding any future office. The only thing that would prevent me from abandoning the party completely would be if Donald Trump were to remain a major player in the selecting candidates and determining policy positions.

We have a significant number of Republicans, such as myself, not yet ready to abandon President Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda. So it would only make sense that the best way to keep those people happy, and to keep the party intact would be for the party, as a whole, to embrace the Trump agenda. But what’s become so frustrating is how, for decades, I have voted for candidates who claimed to support the very same things that Donald Trump supported. And for decades all I’ve gotten are excuses as to why progress was never made. So when, in 2016, Republicans controlled Congress and the White House I thought things would change.

And yet, it was very little that changed as President Trump got very little help from those within his own party in advancing his ‘America First’ agenda. Even with control of both the House and the Senate, the Republicans seemed quite content to allow the Democrats to control the legislative agenda, and if the passage of a bill was deemed to provide President Trump with any amount of credit, it was simply allowed to die. This despite the fact that Republicans had promised their constituents they would do all that they could to get such legislation to the president’s desk. And so after watching such nonsense be endlessly repeated I, at least initially, threw in the towel.

Look we all support lower taxes, legal immigration, the border wall, smaller government, fewer regulations and ‘America First’ policies. All of the very same things that we’ve been told time and time again by those whom we were voting for, that they supported as well. And yet it was after every single election, once they were all safely elected, that we got nothing but excuses when no progress was ever made on any of the issues that got them elected. And then when the opportunity does present itself where they control both houses of Congress and a Republican in the White house, still no progress is made and still all we get are lame excuses.

So what’s the solution other than scrapping the party altogether and starting from scratch? Granted, we all understand the consequences. And we would all have to enter into such a venture with our eyes wide open, knowing full well that going the third party route would guarantee Democrats would win every future race for more than a few election cycles. But when we have Republican representatives making the statements they have recently, it’s important to note that it’s that kind of rhetoric that only serves to cause more folks to consider a third party. We must keep in mind that most Republican voters appreciate what President Trump did for this country.

Right now, the truth is that those in the party who criticize the man who brought positive change to this country are the ones who are divisive and are not correctly reading the majority of Republicans. They recoil at the populist direction of the party of Donald Trump because they still don’t understand his appeal and they’ve grown rather accustomed to being in the minority, to the point where they’ve come to see that as their role. Donald Trump’s platforms win; lower taxes, taking on China, the wall, the economy, useless regulations, the Middle East, and Jerusalem the capital of Israel, to name but a few. And it’s those issues that must form the basis of the party.

The days of the “this is the way we’ve always done it” must be seen as being over. President Trump remade our party to be what the Democrats always claimed they were, but were not. There is no turning back in the face of Socialism. People with the courage to push back harder than they are pushed are the only hope for the future of this country. The old Republican Party is obsolete. It can never again be the party of people who just want to go along to get along. Third parties are self-defeating. You need majorities in both the House and the Senate to accomplish lasting change. And it’s true that it could take decades for a third party to make that happen.

The Democrats would love nothing better than to divide the Republican Party. But all Republicans in office would do well to correctly assess the current sentiment of the majority of Republican voters. To understand the Trump voter, because the Trump voter demands action and results. We are now the party of the working class. We must reassure those who joined us by the millions that we will remain the party of the working class. We will not betray their trust in us. We need to refuse to be cowed by entities from the left. They would never moderate. The Trump voter can smell weakness. We must remain proud of the accomplishments of the last 4 years.

KARL, WHO??? OFFERS ADVICE TO REPUBLICANS???

So, let me see if I have this right. One of those who were essentially responsible for bringing about what is nothing less than the end of our two party system, courtesy of their having ushered in the demise of the Republican Party, is now offering advice, to those still interested in doing so, advice on how best the party would be able to get its groove back. Seriously? And it is in so doing that Karl Rove once again makes very clear why it is that he is no longer respected, nor trusted, by the millions of Americans and conservatives who supported President Trump. Rove should be seen as nothing other than a court jester in the service of the Republican Establishment.

Rove is that long-forgotten ‘Architect’ from the G.W. Bush Presidency. And it was this week that he apparently thought was the most opportune time for him to comment on the 2020 Presidential election and what needs to happen moving forward since he’s been so successful over the course of the last decade. It was in a recent Op-Ed at the Wall Street Journal that Rove said, “It’s important to remember that President Donald Trump’s most popular achievements were conservative: originalist judges, a pro-growth tax cut, regulatory relief, strong national defense, recognition of the global threat posed by China, secure borders, and respect for life and religious liberty.”

Rove seems to forget that before Trump, Republicans had said virtually nothing about China stealing jobs or intellectual property or about securing our borders.  He gives no credit to President Trump for being the most pro-life President in history and neglects to mention unfair trade, jobs, peace in the Middle East and the American future in space. Rove and others forget that after eight years of President Bush, who never took a stand against the corrupt media, the Republican Party was in shambles. Rove’s efforts gave America ‘BO’ and Democrats supermajorities in both the House and Senate.  Many would argue he has no right to even present his ideas after that failure.

The thing that Rove doesn’t understand is that President Trump was a winner and the most popular Republican in history. President Trump celebrated numerous accomplishments despite Rove and others in the Republican Party opposing him, blocking him or actively working against him and his supporters along the way. Rove comments on the election without seriously considering the impossibility that: Republicans lost the White House while picking up U.S. House seats, holding half the Senate, and adding to its numbers in state legislative chambers. Rove refuses to look further into these numbers simply because he hates President Trump.

Rove then goes on to add, “The party should also increase efforts to recruit candidates who are female, Hispanic, Asian-American, black and younger. More diverse candidates were key to the GOP’s surprise gains in the House and the states. The GOP must also disavow QAnon, the Proud Boys and militia elements that have infiltrated its ranks. The first is a cult organized around bizarre conspiracy theories and directed by unknown cranks, the second is a gang of violent thugs, and the third is a group of secessionists and extremists. Nothing good will come from tolerating such kooks and fanatics.” Rove is a boob and worthy only of being ignored.

As is usually the case, Rove has absolutely no idea what he’s talking about. What he says is directly from the Democrat playbook. He proves this by making what is, without a doubt, the most idiotic comment ever made by a political pundit on either side by saying, “Republicans should also encourage GOP secretaries of state and state lawmakers to develop a model election code. The job of proposing electoral reforms shouldn’t be based on the unsupported claims of widespread fraud peddled by Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell.” A person would have to have his head in a hole since the election to not see the election fraud.  His statement is simply not true.

Rove fails because the entire world is talking about how the Democrats were able to steal the election, just not on social media where they banned any such discussion of the 2020 election fraud.  Rove states emphatically that the steal did not happen and blames Americans’ lack of trust with the election system on President Trump. He said, “Mr. Trump has already done damage to the GOP by convincing some followers that our democratic system is so rigged that it isn’t worth voting. Look at the January 5 Georgia Senate runoffs: Turnout in the most-Trump friendly congressional districts dropped more from the general election than the statewide average.”

Of course, it’s all Donald Trump’s fault!  It has nothing to do with the corrupt system in place in Georgia that stole the state from Donald Trump and allowed a radical Marxist to defeat an attractive Republican U.S. Senator. And didn’t President Trump actively campaign for both Loeffler and Perdue? Rove iout of touch, he is a remnant of the past, a dinosaur. His ideas are not sound, wise or popular today in the era of the Trump Republican Party.  Rove doesn’t understand that the election was most certainly stolen and now all Americans want is the truth. Turncoats who ignore or deny this will have no influence whatsoever in the future, nor should they.

Democrats have learned that nothing can stop them. Not lawsuits, not lower court judges not the Supreme Court, certainly not Republicans, not videotapes of them cheating, not even hundreds of affidavits. All of which will only serve to encourage them to use the same tactics in every election from now on. And since the Republican Party no longer really serves any useful purpose why should we continue to reward cowardly RINOs who care only about themselves? Why reward the ones who used Donald Trump and then stabbed him in the back? If we don’t do something drastic, and soon, there will never be any point in voting ever again.

Look, Rove is just another has-been desperate in his attempt to remain relevant any way he can. Personally, I find him to be about as trustworthy as a used car salesman. There is absolutely nothing he can say that will convince me that the Republican Party must be made to do anything other than to die an unceremonious death. It hasn’t had much to offer for a very long time, and frankly I’m tired be being told one thing by those trying to gain my vote, only to be ignored once they have been safely elected. That was until Donald Trump came along, and did just what it was that he told us he would do. And yet it’s Donald Trump that Rove thinks is the problem?

Perhaps that might be because, for the last five years, Donald Trump was strangely responsible for those on both sides of the political aisle suddenly revealing their true selves, and we all got to see just how corrupt, incompetent, vicious, immoral those in our government truly are. And that’s why they hate him. Also Donald Trump is self-made, so there’s no need for those in the ‘fake news’ media to concoct his many achievements. And that’s why THEY hate him. We support him because we’re not threatened by him. He tells it like it is. He believes in what we believe in, faith, family and country, all things that totalitarians, communists, sociopaths despise.

I do have to laugh whenever I hear idiots, like Rove, talk about ‘strategies’ that should be employed by the Republican Party, after they knowingly allowed a fraudulent election to subvert the will of the American people. And they allowed the ‘fake news’ media to spread lies, slander, and misinformation about anyone that didn’t have a (D) after their name. They protected, allowed and even encouraged mass censorship by big tech during an election cycle. They allowed the destruction of small businesses by allowing unnecessarily long and blatantly unconstitutional lock downs. They allowed ANTIFA and BLM to rain terror in cities all across our country.

Finally, it’s those like Rove who are the very last ones that anyone should be listening to. But then, at this point I could care less whether he’s listened to or not. Republicans are free to follow the advice of anyone they wish, because as I have said, I’m done with them. I have now officially moved on. I have put up with a lot over the past few decades, believing that voting for the was better than voting for Democrats. But I’m just not so sure that that is any long the case. I want something more, I want someone to tell me what they are going to do to save my country and then, do it. Just like President Trump. And I no longer trust Republicans to do that. Sorry Karl!

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS DEAD ALREADY, IT JUST DOESN’T KNOW IT YET…

So just what is it going to take to drill it into the heads of those in the Republican Party that we’re through with the RINOs? There were over 75 Million of us who voted for President Trump. Then we had to watch as many of our ‘leaders’ did nothing more than to sit on their hands and watch as the Democrats were allowed to steal the election and to claim that their senile old fart had won the contest freely and fairly. And now, all 75+ million of us are being told that our opinion no longer matters, and that we can go screw ourselves when it comes to who it is that WE want in Congress.

And why is it that I say that? Well because one of my senators from here in Florida, Rick Scott, who also happens to be the chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), said Thursday that he will support incumbent Republicans senators against potential primary challengers backed by former President Trump. It was then that Scott told reporters, “I’m supporting incumbents.” His comments indicate the NRSC will be more firmly committed to supporting Republican incumbents during the 2022 and 2024 congressional election cycles. Go ahead, Rick, make my day!

And apparently Scott had previously told The Washington Post, earlier this month, that he was uneasy about backing primary challengers. even those backed by President Trump.  By the way, the NRSC is the GOP’s official committee to help elect Republicans to the Senate. The committee typically supports Republican incumbents but is now facing pressure from President Trump, who has threatened, and rightfully so, to back primary opponents against senators perceived as insufficiently loyal. So, Republicans can do whatever they wish, it’s their choice and their political funeral.

But Senate Republicans are in the rather unenviable position of having to defend 20 seats during the 2022 midterms and just may want to rethink that strategy. A tougher primary season could upend any dreams they may still have of retaking control of the Senate. President Trump announced in the weeks before leaving office that he would consider backing primary challenges against a number of Republican lawmakers he felt did not back his efforts to contest the 2020 election. Senate RINOs John Thune and Lisa Murkowski were among those who wanted President Trump out.

And while there are allies of former President Trump who are currently considering Ivanka Trump as being a potential primary challenger against Marco Rubio, I must admit that while I am very much in favor of Rubio being made to face a primary challenger, she would definitely not be my first choice. For one thing, simply having the last name of ‘Trump’ should not automatically qualify one as being a viable conservative candidate. And despite the rumors, Scott told reporters Thursday that he has not been made aware of any primary challenge against his fellow Florida senator.

Scott also said the Republican strategy for 2022 would be to focus on opposing president ‘Creepy Joe’ Biden but did not indicate, or elaborate on, whether or not he thought Trump-backed primary challengers would make that strategy more difficult. He said, “Part of what I’m trying to do is get everybody to focus on, you know, what the difference is between Republicans and Democrats.” And he went on to say, “I think it’s gonna be clear with a lot of Biden stuff.” But that’s just it, there doesn’t seem to be much of ANY difference between Republicans and Democrats!!

Senator Scott can go ahead and do as he wishes, it's his political party's funeral. But he should really stop and consider the consequences that his party may be made to face by choosing to go down that path. And he should not think for a moment that there remains all that many of us who will any longer simply vote for ANYBODY simply because that have an (R) after their name. Those days are now gone forever, and for no other reason than because of the treachery RINOs demonstrated against President Trump! So, either the party makes some hard choices, or WE will make them!

And I seriously doubt that Scott has taken the time to do the necessary math. A Third Party candidate backed by President Trump, the guy who received the most votes ever by any incumbent president, will spell doom for any RINO candidate. Personally, there’s not a dimes worth of difference between a Democrat and a Democrat running as a Republican. So if the RINOs lose, it’s no real loss for conservatives. It’s too bad the party of surrender doesn't have the cajones to oppose Democrats with the same intensity that they do conservatives. I will not vote for ANY RINO incumbent, EVER!!!

Think about it, this guy doesn't even know who the ‘challengers’ might be and yet he's already declaring that he’ll support his incumbents. In other words, he doesn’t care about listening to voters, he cares only about protecting his buddies. What if the incumbent is someone like a Romney, a Murkowski or a Collins? Will he still choose to support them? It’s rather obvious that Scott learned absolutely nothing from the past four years. I would strongly recommend to Scott that he seriously rethink his current cockamamie strategy. It’s just another reason not to bother donating to the RNC.

Scott is another member of the club that has forgotten how it was that Donald Trump was able to broaden the party’s base. It’s not the voters who need to understand the difference between Republicans and Democrats. The entire ‘Creepy Joe’ fiasco was not brought about by Democrats alone. The difference will be between the Republicans who backed President Trump and Republicans who didn't. We know who they are, and any impeachment attempts will only further cement their fate. That and how quickly ‘Creepy Joe’s appointments are confirmed compared to Trump’s.

These RINOs still don’t get it! All we want is honest, fair and responsive government. As President Reagan said “we are a nation with a government, not the other way around”. Millions of Americans love President Trump for what he is and what he accomplished. And that he is not afraid to tell it like it is. A ‘politician’ with a backbone is a rare thing indeed! Things don’t look good for the 20 Republicans running for re-election. We are in desperate need of some fresh conservative blood, those who would be willing to go to the mat in an effort to save our country.

Finally, Scott was one of the Tea Party guys who went against the establishment guy picked to be governor. The voters of Florida, of which I am one, supported him and he won exactly because he wasn't the establishment guy! And now he’s going to do everything in his power to protect the establishment types? Sadly Scott, and Rubio as well, are both great examples of those who simply lied to the Tea Party folks, promising to oppose the establishment in order to get elected. And while they do tend to vote more conservative than the Democrats, they’re still ‘Swamp’ creatures.

GOODBYE REPUBLICAN PARTY!! NOW ON TO THE PATRIOT PARTY!!!

I AM DONE WITH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!

So I’m now making it official, it is no longer that I will refer to myself as being a member of the Republican Party. I mean, there’s no longer any point. For far too long I turned a blind eye to willingness of so many in the party hierarchy to simply go squishy whenever faced with even the slightest amount of intimidation by the opposition. I was constantly being disappointed. And those in positions of power have repeatedly demonstrated that they needed me far more than I needed them.

You would have to be a RINO not to see that the events that occurred earlier this week in the nation’s capital were a complete set up. And yet we have had numerous RINOs falling all over themselves in their effort to get in front of a television camera or a microphone in order for them to throw President Trump under the proverbial bus. That they can do so, and so casually, to greatest president in my lifetime, has proven to me that the time has now come to sever my relationship with this party of pussies!

And it was yet another one of these many pathetic RINOs, Nikki Haley, who very recently criticized Donald Trump for his actions since losing the election back in November, adding that he will be “judged harshly by history.” Haley made the comments during a Republican National Committee dinner in Florida on Thursday but also complimented the president’s “truly extraordinary gains” during his first term. She said, “President Trump has not always chosen the right words.”

Haley went on to say, “He was wrong with his words in Charlottesville, and I told him so at the time.” And she said, “He was badly wrong with his words yesterday. And it wasn’t just his words. His actions since Election Day will be judged harshly by history.” Haley, who once served as the governor of South Carolina, has really been a long time, and rather harsh critic of Donald Trump. Despite that fact, she was appointed to U.N. ambassador by the president in 2017 but left in 2018.

It was at the RNC dinner that she said, “It’s deeply disappointing.” And she said, “And it’s a real shame, because I am one who believes our country made some truly extraordinary gains in the last four years.” Haley added, “We should not shy away from our accomplishments.” Haley’s comments were made a day after we were told a mob of Trump supporters had stormed the Capitol building in an attempt to stop the Congress’ certification of ‘Creepy Joe’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.

So apparently Haley, like just about every other stinking RINO, is of the opinion that by outing herself as a simple traitor she will somehow garner for herself some level of support for, quite possibly, 2024? Who, exactly, does she plan on getting votes from? Conservatives seem to be, by and large, done with Republicans (Democrat-light) and Communists still have the Democrats to vote for. I have voted consistently for Republicans since 1972--but no more. The Republican Party is now dead to me.

Personally, I could give a rip about what President Trump says, all I care about results. Unlike ‘BO’, who was really nothing more than a used car salesman in an Armani suit who accomplished absolutely nothing in eight years and divided this country like nothing that has been seen since the 1960’s. And before anyone spews that that is what President Trump done for the last four years, I will be more than happy to produce a list of President Trump’s many accomplishments.

In spite of four years of seething ‘fake news’ media hatred, Deep State and RINO sabotage, all manner Democrat treachery from the Russia hoax to a parody sham impeachment, and the Chinese bioweapon, I have no doubt that history will record, if it provides an accurate accounting, that President Trump had the most productive and beneficial first term of any president before him or yet to come. To claim anything other is to promote nothing more than a work of pure political fiction.

Haley is nothing more than another worthless hack of politician grabbing for anything that she thinks might keep her afloat just long enough. Like all these washed-up politicians they turned to Donald Trump to keep them relevant. They never liked him, but the accepted the power he gave them. But when things got tough they abandoned him in a heartbeat and even attacked him. They will go down in history as the greatest of all traitors. And if there is a God each and every one will burn in Hell.

The problem with these turncoat politicians is not so much their criticism of Donald Trump, it’s that they have no real convictions. They support President Trump when it looks favorable to them but when the wind shifts, even the slightest, they trip all over themselves to move to whatever position is best for them. They don’t care about what the voters really want. Most people don’t want open borders, globalist policies that take jobs away from Americans or regulations that stifle the economy.

Most people don’t want China stealing our intellectual property and running roughshod over the world. President Trump worked to actually do something about these issues instead of mouthing platitudes and letting all those things go on in the background. A lot of Washington seems to believe that Republicans will be returning to the Democrat-lite style establishment politics. The establishment may well intend to do that but they will not get support from the millions of Trump supporters.

To me, and roughly 75 Million other Americans who voted for him, Donald Trump is a hero owed deep respect for his incredible foreign policy accomplishments.  Not only does Kim no longer shoot rockets over Japan, but peace has broken out all over the Middle East.  Either of these by itself is Nobel Prize–worthy as each flummoxed the experts for 70 years. By not strongly emphasizing just how extraordinary these successes were, Haley piled on the president at a hard time in our history.

Marxists have now taken over the Democrat Party and there was a time when I thought what conservatives needed to do was to work toward taking over the Republican Party in the same way. That always seemed to be a lot easier than going the third party route. We would start by not re-electing any incumbents then proceed to purge all of the weak-kneed Republicans by refusing to support them. Those in charge would eventually get the message and the Conservatives would take over.

But that just never worked. What needs to be done to show that we’re serious is to drive a stake through the heart of the party and to then build an entirely new party, a genuinely conservative party for those with genuinely conservative values. And we refuse to share the new brand with the imposters, fraudsters, and carpetbaggers who have no fidelity to the new party’s charter. It is better to do without than to continue with people like those who threw their own Republican President under the bus.

SOME SAY THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS DEAD…

I usually find myself pretty much in agreement with Sean Hannity far more often than I disagree with him.  But I must admit there have been times when I thought that maybe he went a bit further in some of his positions than I was willing to go, and that some of his expectations were a bit less than reasonable.  It was during a recent interview that he was asked to discuss the establishment’s “nullification process” to undermine the Trump presidency.  And it was in discussing his position on that topic that Hannity said, “I think the only way to stop it is all of us and all of the people that mobilized in 2016 to get back, organized, fighting every day.”

And it was in this same interview that he went on to speak about the corruption of the “deep state,” which he defined as being “those people within the government, a sort of shadow government within the government that have been leaking,” as in the case of General Flynn.  And it was in referencing Gen. Flynn that he said, “They destroyed this man’s life.”  Hannity went through the various connections between all the players behind the scenes that have worked together to try to undermine the Trump presidency.  He said, “What we’ve now done is criminalize political differences.”  And he went on to describe it as being “a silent coup.”

Hannity also hit Republicans for their failure to repeal Obamacare, to push big ideas they led the base to think they believed in, and to provide proper oversight of the shady dealings of both Hitlery and the Obummer administration.  And while I find it difficult to disagree with his assessment, where I do tend to differ a bit is when he describes the Republican Party as being “a dead party.”  But I can certainly understand his frustration.  In speaking about the majority of our Republican politicians he said, “They are morally corrupt, they are weak. They are ineffective, they’re vision-less, and they have no identity.”  Again, who can argue with that?

Politically, Hannity said, “I do believe I’ve never changed. I do believe the Republican Party left me, and I feel it is heartbreaking to me, because so many people trusted them in 2010, 2014 – Give us the House, give us the Senate – then they get the White House and they turn on a man that’s advocating the same principles that they have been quoting for years on the campaign trail.”  Also, there is very little here that I can disagree with because I feel much the same way.  It would have been so easy for the Republicans, going all the way back 2010, to simply do what it was that they said they would do if elected.  And yet, they didn’t.

That said, what many now seem to be considering is how best to go about the creating of a ‘new’ political party.  But we don’t need a ‘new’ party, what we need to do is to take over the one that best suits our needs.  And no, it will likely not be an easy task, but even if we can only do it one congressman at a time it would be worth it.  There’s no need to reinvent the wheel, we just need to change out most, if not all, of the spokes.  The Republican Party once stood for true conservatism, for liberty and personal responsibility, and it can again.  We let our guard down and allowed the thieves to walk right in and steal it.  Now we need to take it back!

And to be honest it was the situation down in Alabama regarding Judge Roy Moore that ended up shining a very bright light on those faux conservatives who called on, and are still calling on, Judge Moore to drop out of the race.  And whether intended or not, they have now placed a sizable target on their backs, now we must work to expel them from our party.  And our first opportunity to shed as many of them as we can is now less than a year away.  We need to clean house and start over.  It’s totally ludicrous that these career crooks have no term limits and all they have to do is to serve five years to get a pension.  It’s a great gig if you can get it.

And you know, those of us who essentially sat idly by and allowed ourselves to be conned by these guys, and gals, must now all accept some responsibility for the abuse and injury dealt upon our great democracy.  Then we have all those who voted for Barry ‘O’ for no other reason than because of the color of his skin and it's no wonder our democracy has slipped into disrepair.  We can only hope that it’s not too late, and that the damage that has been done is not irreparable.  But the situation in which we now find ourselves is what happens when you trust people to tell you the truth, and instead they’re telling you what they think you want to hear.

We must never forget, nor should we allow others to forget, that it's the Democrat Party that is the official party of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, racism, the Ku Klux Klan, failing union schools, political machines, crooked-socialist unions, corrupt cities failing in every regard, illegal immigration, Welfare dependence and on and on.  In short: a history loaded with failure and the worst kind of corruption.  The ‘party of slavery’ has been very good at re-writing its history.  To the point where blacks, and by an overwhelming margin, are essentially voting for those who differ very little from the slave masters of the past.  Lincoln would be disappointed.

I think it’s become painfully obvious that there now needs to be created a very clear distinction between the Republican Party as it presently exists and the Republican Party of Lincoln, Grant, Reagan, and now Trump.  And whether we like it or not, we who chose to accept at face value much of what we’ve been told over the last few years are at fault for the party’s current condition.  We failed to hold the RINOs accountable and did nothing to prevent the Democrats from remaining a force in our government.  And while the media may have acted to cloud our judgement by spewing propaganda, that’s no excuse for our lack of attentiveness.

While I would very much like to think that Hannity is wrong about the party being ‘dead’, there is one thing for sure, it is in desperate need of some fresh blood and of more than a little restructuring.  And I would also like to think that the Republican Party of Lincoln, is rising, although perhaps a bit slower than we need it to be.  Judge Moore is part of it.  And where was Hannity when the Judge needed him the most?  Crucifying him right along with others in the fake media!  All the naysayers are now crawling back into their holes knowing that the ‘Great Patriots’ of Alabama are having none of it, and will likely send Judge Moore to U.S. Senate!

In one respect I must admit that I was more than a little disappointed in Hannity because I thought he was just a little too quick in his decision to throw Judge Moore under the bus with no evidence, especially while it was at the same time appearing to be good friends with Geraldo who we now know drugged women and groped them. Fox News, with very few exceptions, is just as bad as the rest of the state-controlled media when it comes to being anti-Trump and anti-Trump agenda.  The Senate race in Alabama exposed a lot of RINOs, both in Congress and in the media.  Hannity fell down on Moore for a while, but he seems to be back.

I have never agreed with the premise of starting some new party.  Because in my eyes it would be a much simpler task to vote the RINOs out and to then fill the void left with conservatives.  To me that’s how we can take the party back, granted it'll take a few election cycles, but it can be done.  What purpose would be served by coming up with a new party?  It would only split the votes three ways and allow the Democrats to easily ‘win’ back power.  The oldest tactic for achieving victory is to divide the enemy’s forces.  We need to concentrate on changing our party as it presently exists. Then we’ll be better prepared to go after the Democrats with all that we have.

ALABAMA: MONEY VERSUS ISSUES…

While I will agree that there was much to cheer about regarding the election results in Alabama last night, with the victory of Judge Roy Moore over Luther Strange, there was also much to be concerned about.  The good news is, of course, that the campaign of Judge Moore, while it may have been overwhelmed by a flood of GOP Establishment political cash, it was still able to come out victorious.  The bad news is that there were, quite literally, millions of dollars essentially flushed down the toilet in the effort to beat back Moore, millions of dollars that could have been put to much better use against the Democrats.

Now the full accounting of just how much money was blown in the attempt to bestow the Republican nomination upon ‘Big Luther’ Strange will have to wait for weeks, as the campaign finance filings begin to slowly trickle in.  But it likely amounted to tens of millions of dollars, with some estimates going as high as $30 million, raised by the Chamber of Commerce, by Mitch McConnell’s political action committees, and by other political vehicles of the Republican political establishment.  And though it was all for naught there is little cause to cheer, because it was all a waste.  But as long as there some hope, the money continued to be spent.

Because for all of that flood of campaign cash, Strange still lost in a landslide.  In fact, it couldn’t have been worse if not one dime had been spent to promote Strange’s doomed candidacy.  So why didn’t all that money work?  After all, for all those many years, money appeared to be the most important deciding factor in American politics.  Whoever raised the most and therefore could spend the most would win.  And, as a result, the donor class rose to power and was able to direct the Republican Party to adopt its positions on key issues, even when it was clear these positions were largely rejected by Republican voters.

I suppose the answer might be found in the ancient wisdom of the advertising industry.  Because where advertising spending has its biggest effect is in places where the contest is between products that are so similar that only the advertising makes a difference.  That’s why some of the biggest expenditures on advertising throughout the years have been by companies making products that would be interchangeable under white labels.  For instance, Coke versus Pepsi.  One brand of cigarettes versus the other.  One brand of beer versus another.  Come to this casino rather than the other one.  On and on, but you get the point, I’m sure.

And as long as the Republican Party saw fit to offer voters that which was nothing more than a lighter version of the standard Democrat Party platform, one that was slightly slower and a bit more profitable, campaign cash mattered.  It was about presenting an image, a message, a product rather than a genuine alternative.  No longer.  It began with the Trump campaign, which was outspent by its competitors by unimaginable sums of money.  Let’s call it the Schaffley Rule: When voters are offered an echo, not a choice, money matters.  When voters are offered a choice not an echo, policy and politics matter.

But before we get too carried away with this grand notion that by electing President Trump we have now begun the long painful process back to normalcy, we need to keep in mind that, whether it’s for four years or eight, Donald Trump represents only a temporary shift back toward that universe where up is up and down is actually down.  And we need to keep in mind that it’s going to be up to us to make sure that we keep things moving in the direction that we started with President Trump.  And I would argue that we should have already begun the search for those candidates who will maintain that which was started with his election.

That said, I must admit that last November 8th was, for me, just as it was I would imagine for many others, more than a little bit of a happy day.  After all, it did my heart good to see that monster in human form, Hitlery, get her teeth kicked in, politically speaking of course.  It was, without a doubt, one of the most satisfying experiences I think I have ever known.  What so many still don't get though, is that Obummer and Hitlery, and the entire Democrat/progressive cabal, made the classic mistake that all totalitarian, dictatorship minded organizations and individuals invariably make when they think they can't lose, they got over-confident.

I think it safe to say that Obummer, the man who still never tires of talking about himself and how great he is, went one radical, anarchist, socialist bridge too far and thought he was the chosen one, you know, he whom we had all been waiting for.  The one to whom nothing would be denied, the one who would finally be able to show us all the error of our ways.  He said we could go on spending money that we don’t have and it wouldn’t be a problem because all that money was being spent on a worthwhile cause.  But we’re learning that there needs to be a limit to our generosity, and a point at which folks need to become self-sufficient.

It was back in November that I wondered aloud if we should actually send Obummer a thank you note for the great public service he did finally outing himself and his party.  And I made mention of the number of voices on the left that were then claiming how it was that Obummer’s first inauguration would be heralding in what was then thought to be 40 years of sold Democrat rule.  But it was in pretty short order that their dreams turned into what was little more than a nightmare as the Democrats lost first control of the U.S. House, then numerous governorships and state legislatures, then the U.S. Senate and then finally the presidency.

And now, while there is nothing that would give me greater pleasure than to say ‘RINO Season’ has officially begun, I fear it’s way too early to make such a claim.  For many years Americans allowed their voices to be usurped by the big-money donors because the politicians were clever at bait-and-switch.  Until alternative media emerged to do the job no American journalist was willing to do (hold politicians accountable to the people), there was not enough information available to the voter to really identify the liars for what they were.  All has changed and to the benefit of the American citizen over big money interests.

In order for money alone to be sufficient to win elections, first and foremost the voters have to be made and kept clueless.  And it has been a coordinate effort between the Democrat and their media allies to keep voters in the dark.  But the voters now know who ‘The Establishment’ is. The lies and treason against the voters by the Republican establishment is fresh in the minds of the voters.  We still don't have ‘The Wall’ and Obamacare hasn't been repealed.  Even the attempts at repealing Obamacare allowed 90% of it intact.  So from here on out, no more lies and broken promises from the Republican establishment. Throw them all out!

WILL THE GOP AGAIN MANAGE TO SHOOT THEMSELVES IN BOTH FEET?

Rumor has it that the Republicans have made what’s being referred to as being a massive turnaround in the past month, boosting hopes that the GOP could be headed for victory in next year's congressional elections. And supposedly, along with this massive turnaround comes a real chance for the GOP to take control of both the House and the Senate as rich, white, and rural voters move away from the Democrats. And trust me when I say, as much as the establishment Republicans would like nothing more than to take credit for this massive swing, I would venture to say that it has taken place more in spite of, than because of, anything that they’ve done.

But now comes the $18 Trillion question: Can the Republicans manage to hold onto those new supporters in the 12 months running up to next year's crucial midterm vote? After all, it was just a month ago that the Republicans were sucking wind because the government shutdown in the bitter battle over Obamacare was laid at their door. It was in a generic ballot just last month, where voters were asked to pick between Democrats and Republicans in their congressional district that Democrats were chosen, 50 percent to 42 percent. But things seem to have turned around in the past four weeks to where the Republicans now lead 49 percent to 47 percent.

Apparently the biggest shifts toward the Republicans has come from white voters, higher-income Americans, and people who live in rural areas. And if those patterns hold true going into 2014, it may indicate that Obamacare, while popular among those who it is said to help the most, remains unpopular among the larger group of voters who because of the rising cost of health insurance are now more concerned about being forced into covering the cost of Obamacare. But Democrats have gained strength in the past month among some of their "natural constituencies," or those who make up our parasite class which consists mostly of non-white and lower-income voters.

Republicans now have a 17-seat advantage in the House while Democrats hold a 55-45 majority in the Senate. Thirty-five of the 100 Senate seats are up for election in the midterms, 33 scheduled along with special elections in South Carolina and Hawaii, giving Republicans another opportunity to gain control of the upper chamber from the Democrats for the first time since 2006. Earlier this month a survey conducted by Quinnipiac University showed that Barry's approval rating was at its lowest level, with just 39 percent, since he entered the White House back in 2009. And a majority also said Barry is neither honest nor trustworthy. Imagine that!

Which, I suppose, brings me back to where I started here. I can’t help but wonder if the limp-wristed boobs who are now in charge of the Republican Party, will once again succeed in doing that which they seem to be better at than just about anyone else, the shooting of themselves in both feet. Their skill at doing that very thing is what keeps me from even fantasizing about the potential electoral prospects that are currently being discussed relating to the coming midterm elections. If we only had a few more fighters on our team I might be more willing to actually believe that such a scenario could become a reality. But I guess we’re just gonna have to wait and see.

WHO'S THE BIGGER PROBLEM, THE LIBERTARIANS OR THE LIBERAL REPUBLICANS?

Well, there seems to be another anti-Libertarian voice that has been added to that of Chris Christie, that, of course, being the voice of New York Rep., Peter King. King makes the claim that if Republicans don't quash the libertarian streak shown recently by some of their members, they risk following the destructive lead of Democrats in the 1960s. Now look, I don't consider myself a libertarian, however, the ones I blame for putting the future of the Republican Party in jeopardy are those who profess to be conservative and are anything but. Those, of course, would be the same ones who are our current leaders in Congress.

King said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," "When you have Rand Paul actually comparing [NSA leaker Edward] Snowden to Martin Luther King or Henry David Thoreau, this is madness." He went on to say," This is the anti-war left-wing Democrats of the 1960s that nominated George McGovern and destroyed their party for almost 20 years. I don't want that happening to our party." I didn't hear exactly what it was that Paul said, nor the context in which he was making his point. But having said that, I don't think it does the party any good to air its dirty laundry on, of all places, CNN.

King has said he is considering a run for president in 2016 because he fears where Republicans such as Paul, a Kentucky Republican, are taking the party. King said he favors a healthy debate in 2016 between two legitimate candidates, "not fringes like Rand Paul." Well with all due respect to Mr. King, I don't consider Paul to be on the fringe. At this point in time what is of most concern to me is the fact that I continue to get lied to by people like Boehner and McConnell. And the lies being told have involved multiple issues, including the NSA leaks, raising the debt ceiling, immigration and a possible government shutdown over funding for Obamacare.

I would argue the reason for this supposed split is the fact that we have far too many in our party who are simply for big government. They want to take us to exactly the same place that the Democrats do, albeit at just a slower pace. And we have people, nowhere near enough, who are saying no to that. And apparently guys like Mr. King are less than pleased. So they set about trumping up this bogus libertarian line of attack. King said healthy debate within the party can be good, but said it is "absolutely disgraceful" that 94 Republicans voted to defund the National Security Agency in a close vote in the House last week.

On the contrary, Mr. King, I'm on the side of those 94 Republicans and I am not, as you say, a libertarian. I'm an American citizen concerned about a government that has already grown far too big and far too intrusive. "This is an isolationist streak that's in our party," King said. "It goes totally against the party of Eisenhower and Reagan, Bush. We are a party of national defense." King said he'd like to see Republicans reach out to labor unions of construction workers, police and firefighters. "These are people that are socially conservative and want to agree with us, and too many people in our party drive them away," he said.

And on the subject of immigration, Peter King went on to make it quite clear that he is in no way in agreement with comments made by Rep. Steve King of Iowa. He made it clear that he doesn't agree with the words his colleague used when talking about illegal immigrants in a recent interview. Steve King made the point that those pushing immigration reform are painting an inaccurate picture of illegal immigrants as a monolithic group by noting that some children of illegals have become valedictorians of their classes. He also made the point that for every valedictorian there are 100 "hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert."

GOP leaders including John Boehner and Eric Cantor were, of course, quick to denounce Steve King's words, but he has since refused to back down from them, saying the numbers back him up. Peter King told CNN that Republicans have to address the immigration issue in "an intelligent way and a humane way." I guess I just don't understand what guys like Peter King mean when they talk about immigration policy that's "humane." What other country anywhere here on good old Planet Earth makes that as part of the criteria when discussing immigration policies? Guys like him are the problem, NOT guys like Paul!

So who do you think represents the greater danger to the future of the Republican Party? People like Boehner, McConnell and our friend, here, Peter King, or guys like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Steve King? Personally, I have no doubt that it's the former rather than the latter. The future is in doubt because of wishy-washy pukes like those in our leadership positions, not only IN Congress, but outside of it as well. Where the focus must be, is on putting the country first. We must be better at demonstrating the fact that the GOP recognizes what 'NEEDS' to be done and is willing to act, regardless of the political consequences that may come as a result.

The Republican Party simply can no longer afford to continue as it has as being nothing more than part of the problem. It has to be part of the solution, if there is even a solution to be had at this stage of the game. Taking about the many problems that we now face as if they do not exist or are minimal in the amount of damage that they are causing, and will continue to cause, is what the Democrats do. And we most definitely do not need to be casting those who are attempting to do nothing more than to tell the truth as somehow being out to destroy our party. Such idiocy will only assist those who wish to make our problems even worse.
