OBAMA, SAME BULLSH!T, DIFFERENT DAY…

Say what you will about Barry, but his determination to blame all of his problems on others, accepting none of it himself, seems to know no bounds. His willingness to blame the Fox News Channel for continuing to misinform the public regarding the scandals that have plagued his presidency was demonstrated yet again during a pre-Super Bowl interview with Bill O'Reilly. But it all rings somewhat hollow. After all, Fox News, while it is the highest rated cable news network, its viewership pales in comparison, and pretty significantly so, when put up against that of the three major networks, the remaining cable news channels plus just about every piece of print new in the business who do nothing more than to regurgitate Democrat Party talking points.

Now I’ll admit right up front that I chose not to watch this interview, and for a couple of reason. Fist of all I don’t really care all that much for O’Reilly, and I care even less for Barry. But having said that these two sat down at the White House on Sunday for a live pregame interview that started about 4:35 p.m. and aired for about 10 minutes. O'Reilly first noted that Barry's detractors believe that he did not initially say the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi, Libya, that left U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans dead was terrorism because it happened in the heat of an election. Barry had just weeks earlier said al-Qaida was on the run after U.S. Navy SEALs assassinated its leader, Osama bin Laden.

"That's what they believe," O'Reilly said of Barry's detractors. To which Barry responed, taking his first swipe at Fox News, by saying, "And they believe it because folks like you are telling them that." O’Reilly returned fire by saying, "No, I'm not telling them that. I'm asking you whether you were told it was a terror attack." Barry then proceeded to make the clain that it was "inaccurate" to say that then Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told him that the attack was terrorism when he first gave him the news. O'Reilly noted that Gen. Carter Ham, head of operations in Libya, has testified he immediately told Panetta the attack was terrorism, and not the result of some spontaneous demonstration over an anti-Muslim video.

"But it's more than that because of Susan Rice," O'Reilly said, noting that Rice, who was then U.N. ambassador and was a major player in what appeard to be propagand campaign, with her filling in for Hitlery Clinton, spreading the lie about the attack being caused by some stupid video. O'Reilly also asked why Barry didn't fire Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius over the botched rollout of the Obamacare website in October. Barry argued that while glitches had been anticipated, no one expected a complete failure of the site. He said everything had been fixed, and the site is now running as it should. O'Reilly noted that only 8 percent of Americans agree with Barry, and again pressed about firing Sebelius.

"I'm sure that the intent is noble," O'Reilly said, "But I'm a taxpayer, and I'm paying Kathleen Sebelius' salary, and she screwed up. And you're not holding her accountable." Barry responded by again lying through his teeth, saying, "Well, I promise you that we hold everybody up and down the line accountable." He then went on to say, "But when we're midstream, Bill, we want to make sure that our main focus is, how do we make this think work so that people are able to sign up, and that's what we've done." O'Reilly asked if Barry considered the biggest mistake of his presidency telling "the nation over and over, if you like your insurance you can keep your insurance?" To which Barry responded in typical fashion saying, "Oh, Bill, you've got a long list of my mistakes in my presidency."

O'Reilly read Barry a question from a viewer who asked, "Mr. President, why do you feel it is necessary to fundamentally transform the nation that has afforded you so much opportunity and success?" Barry answered by saying, "I don't think we need to fundamentally transform the nation." O’Reilly responded, saying, "But those are your words." And all Barry did was to continue to dodge the issue as he went ont to say, "I think what we have to do is make sure that here in America, if you work hard, you can get ahead. " But let’s not forget how it was back on October 30, 2008, when it was then-candidate Barry who said at a Columbia, Missouri, campaign event, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America."

This whole interview was nothing more than another example of Barry being evasive while blaming Fox News for all of his problems. I seem to remember Bush taking a lot of flack for being slow to list any mistakes he thought he had made. And yet, this guy, who seems to view himself as being mistake-free, gets another pass from the majority of those who laughingly refer to themselves as being journalists. I think it fair to say that for those of us who love freedom, and also love our country, Barry’s entire time in office has been nothing more than one mistake after another. And yet neither he, nor his cadre of devoted followers, sees it that way. Those who tuned in chose to waste 10 minutes of their life that they’ll never get back.
