There are RINOs and then there are RINOs of a far more unscrupulous breed like Paul ‘RINO’ Ryan. Ryan is one of the more vocal of those we call ‘NeverTrumpers’ and also one of the more insidious members of a cadre of those who have long masqueraded as conservatives but, in fact, are nothing more than traitors to the conservative cause, merely providing lip service to those foolish enough to believe them just long enough to cast their vote. And I’m ashamed to admit that I myself have gotten snared in their trap a time or two, and for no other reason than I wanted to believe that it was this time that they would keep their promises. But each time I was disappointed.
I’m sure most will remember Ryan as being an even
worse Speaker of the House, than was John ‘Boner’ Boehner before him. And it
was Ryan who, instead of working with President Trump to advance an ‘America
First’ agenda, chose to join with the Democrats in what was an effort to
create, and to put into place, all manner of speedbump and roadblock to limit
President Trump’s ability to achieve any success in making good on the promises
he made to the American people to “Make America Great again.” And apparently, Ryan
now thinks that he has a plan that will prevent President Trump from becoming
the Republican nominee for president in 2024.
It was during an interview that aired on Thursday
that Ryan made the rather bold proclamation that President Trump will not be
the Republican Party’s presidential nominee in 2024, as if he’ll really have
any say in that. And it’s according to Ryan, who is a Fox News board member, that
President Trump, the guy who received more votes than any incumbent president
in history, has an electability problem, which is a perspective that many of
the ‘NeverTrumpers’ on Fox have been very busy promoting. It was during an interview with Teneo, a
consulting firm where he serves as vice chairman, that Ryan claimed, “Trump’s
unelectability will be palpable by then."
‘RINO’ Ryan went on to add, “We all know that he’s
so much more likely to lose the White House than anybody else running for
president on our side of the aisle, so why would we want to go with that?” And
something that should come as no surprise is the fact that Ryan’s view on President
Trump is inconsistent with recent polls that show him leading over *president Joey
B. in a hypothetical 2020 election rematch. Ryan claimed that President Trump
is only the de facto leader of the Republican Party because “everybody’s afraid
of him.” He said, “The only reason he stays where he is is because everybody’s
afraid of him. They’re afraid of him going after them."
‘RINO’ Ryan also claimed that other Republican
politicians would have a better chance of defeating a Democrat in 2024. He
said, “But as soon as you get the herd mentality going, it’s unstoppable. So I
think the fact that he pulls so much poorer than anybody else running for
president as a Republican against a Democrat is enough right there. He’s gonna
know this.” However, as I said, it’s according to multiple polls that President
Trump remains the clear frontrunner in a potential 2024 Republican primary
field. Ryan reportedly listed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Virginia Gov. Glenn
Youngkin, and Sen. Tim Scott as his top three picks, instead of President Trump.
‘RINO’ Ryan droned on saying. “And so whether he
runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters; he’s not going to be the
nominee, I don’t think.” And he warned the Democrats would use President Trump
as a weapon against Republicans. So the guy who made America energy independent,
created a booming that made possible the first real wage increases in decades,
especially for minorities and women, who secured our southern border and even
brought relative peace to the Middle East is someone who can used as a weapon
against his own party? What Hell is Ryan even talking about, and does he actually
expect anyone with a brain to take him seriously?
‘RINO’ Ryan went on to say, “He’s a cudgel against
us, especially in our swing districts.” Ryan, who served as House Speaker
during President Trump’s first two years in office, has long been at odds with President
Trump. Ryan has consistently called on the Republican Party to abandon Trump and
has continued to do so since he left politics back in 2018. It has been
reported that ‘RINO’ Ryan supposedly “found himself sobbing,” after the events January
6. Guess he’s more like Boehner than even I thought. Remember it was Boehner who
would start sobbing at the drop of a hat. I don’t know about anybody else, but
I’m sick and tired of these dishonest wimps!
Personally, I think they only throw out DeSantis simply
because they know he can get MAGA voters, and he can, but in 2028. And let’s be
honest, they don’t really want DeSantis either. He’s just the bait they’re
trying to use in their ongoing effort to get rid of President Trump. They
really want one of their ‘usual suspects’ who can be bossed around by the establishment
types. Tim Scott is a nice guy, but he’s shown on numerous occasions that he would
be nothing more than a puppet for the very same Establishment types. And as far
as I’m concerned Youngkin hasn’t been in office long enough to even be
considered at this point. He needs to prove himself first!
And just like Cheney, McConnell, Romney, and whole
host of others, Ryan was never a Republican, and certainly was never any kind
of a conservative. All happily do the bidding of the left. Selling out the country
and Constitution in return for a few million in the bank. Ryan is another of
those who would rather see Joey B get ‘re-selected’ as *president than to see
President Trump win that which would essentially be a third term. I find it
rather interesting that ‘RINO’ Ryan continues to be more critical of President
Trump than of Joey B. He spends all his time bashing President Trump. He
undoubtedly thinks that Joey is the better *president. For me that says it all?
‘RINO’ Ryan and his merry band of RINOs are the
exact reason why Donald Trump was elected in the first place. Their duplicity
while dealing with the Republican base caught up with them in 2016. We got
tired of being lied to and chose to vote for a true outsider. Donald Trump was
the first Republican, since Ronald Reagan, for who I voted for for president
that I didn’t later regret having done so. And should he choose to run again in
2024 he will most certainly get my vote again. What Donald Trump has going for
him is the truth regarding the downfall of America under Joey and the Democrats.
Everyone can see it, and are experiencing it for themselves.
‘RINO’ Ryan is another of
those who still don’t seem to understand that voters in the Republican Party
have moved way beyond RINO’s like Romney, Cheney, Graham, and himself. There’s
a reason Donald Trump won in 2016 and won again in 2020 and wasn’t because of
people like McConnell or the other old guard Republicans were out cheering him
on. And I find it all a bit odd that we have so many who are supposed to be on
our side, sound more afraid of President Trump than they are of Joey and the
Democrats who are busily dismantling the country piece by piece? Now why do you
suppose that is? Might they too be in favor of the current dismantling???
