Let me start by saying that I live in Florida, and while I love DeSantis as my governor, I have no intention of voting for him for president. Neither in the primary nor, if he gets that far, in the general. To my way of thinking he is a liar. He said he would not run for president if President Trump did, and yet he’s running. And I worry that the RINOs who now seem to be supporting him would come to have far too much influence. And if your reason for voting for DeSantis is because you think you’re getting President Trump without all of the “mean” tweets, you could not be more wrong. And dare I say that that makes you a bigger problem the Democrats.
And I would also argue the DeSantis has done nothing
more than to ride on President Trump’s coattails! President Trump has worked
tirelessly to advance the ‘America First’ movement, helping elect America First
candidates for Congress, and building influence in the Republican party. His
public support is stronger than ever. He’s exposed the ‘fake news’ media as
Democrat propagandists and the DoJ and FBI as Democrat operatives out to get
him. He’s helped to elect America First governors, including DeSantis, who
support election integrity. We have to have honest elections to Save America!
Trump 2024! America First, Freedom, and Prosperity Forever!
Donald Trump wasn’t elected to do anything for any other
country except this one. I’d rather every president keep his eyes focused here
and not on running around the world trying to solve the problems of others. President
Trump cut taxes and de-regulated the economy, made America energy independent
for the first time in decades, made our southern border more secure than it had
been in years, rebuilt our military, rid the world of ISIS, made trade with
other countries fairer and more equitable to America and so very much more. And
for DeSantis to somehow think that he could match such a record seems a bit
presumptuous, if I may say so.
And riddle me this, why is DeSantis not now here in
Florida, taking care of the problems that we currently have here? Crime up,
people flooded out of their homes and more, yet he is out running, while not
running, for president. DeSantis needs to either attend to business at hand
here in Florida or do the honorable thing and resign if he truly does intend to
run for president and be out there campaigning, which is clearly what he’s
doing. He is getting paid to be our governor, so what he needs to be doing is
his job. That’s why I voted for him, I did not vote for him so that he could
then use that vote as a stepping stone to, or so he hopes, the presidency.
President Trump did much good for our veterans, but
he did even better for the nation. DeSantis only knows government, and to me,
that’s not enough, we need President Trump back more than ever. And yes, there
are those who continually make the claim that President Trump is unelectable
because he has too much baggage. But just who, exactly, are those people? Far
more often than not they’re RINOs who are themselves interested in running for
president, or they’re Democrats out to convince his supporters that there’s no
way in Hell that he can win. But Democrats, and those who support them, are
going to direct their hate at whoever is opposing them.
Clearly President Trump was, as president head and
shoulders above the criminally insane boob who currently, and fraudulently, occupies
the Oval Office. Our current *president hasn’t accomplished anything positive for
the country or the American people. And it’s only by the grace of God that we have
any chance to right this ship. There will be no legislative victories for any
Republican President until we have a majority of conservative Republicans in
Congress and kick the RINOs to the curb. And I worry that if DeSantis were to
actually win that those RINOs who we need to focus on getting rid of would come
to hold over a ‘President DeSantis.’ That would be bad!!!
Here in Florida DeSantis has the luxury of dealing
with a legislature that is under the complete control of his party. I do not
feel that he has what it takes to deal with those in a Democrat Party is now nothing
more than the Socialist Democrat Party. The Democrats don’t even bother trying
to hide it anymore. As Socialists, they do not respect or observe our
Constitution. Their attacks upon both the First and Second Amendment rights are
just two prominent examples. And if they do not respect our Constitution, can
they really be Americans? The answer to that is no. And again, I question if
DeSantis has the necessary resolve, or the gonads, to stand up to them.
The left in America is doing its best to implement
MOB RULE, and has been for decades. Clearly this is not transitory, it is here
to stay and will only get more violent, much, much more violent. It’s time to
realize this will now to be the new norm and precautions must be taken, those
on the right must be prepared. And one of the reasons why so many of us continue
to President Trump is because of his willingness to take them on without fear
of who he might offend in the process. And I can’t but to question whether
DeSantis has the same resolve. President Trump does not worry about being
‘politically correct,’ I don’t think the same can be said of DeSantis.
And if you think it is scary to live in American
then you can thank Democrat leadership (or lack of) for that. Chaos and
lawlessness is what they create with their policies of making victims out of
criminals and criminals out of victims. America was founded on Christian
principles, which those on the left have been trying to eliminate for a century
or more. Chipping away at our rights every chance they get. They have
bastardized the language to the point where it is now hardly recognizable. They
have worked to make the unacceptable, acceptable, and they continue to
normalize every sick and twisted perversion imaginable. We need a strong,
unwavering, president.
And finally, if DeSantis
truly loved this country, as much as he claims to love it, he would throw his
support to President Trump and do all that he could to get him elected. The
fact that he has, instead, chosen to run himself tells me all that I really need
to know about my governor. And, quite frankly, it saddens me. But as I said I
will not vote for him in the primary and neither will I vote for him the
general election. For me it’s President Trump or no one. And if it is not
President Trump then I will stay home on Election Day. And that’s not a threat,
nor even a promise. What it is, is a fact. A solid gold fact that you can take
to the bank!! President Trump 2024!!!
