OBAMA’S ADMINISTRATION GETS JUST A TAD BIT SLEAZIER…

When it comes to recruiting some of the sleaziest characters that can be found anywhere on the American left, no one can top the administration of Barack Hussein Obama. This cadre of unseemly reprobates acts like a magnet when it comes to attracting all manner of slimy huckster, sleazy political hack and corrupt race baiter affiliated with the Democrat Party. The most recent addition to this cast of disgusting characters, is John Podesta, former chief of staff to ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton. This reject from the human race has been quoted as saying in a recently published Politico magazine article, that the White House needs "to focus on executive action given that they are facing a second term against a cult worthy of Jonestown in charge of one of the houses of Congress." This is what passes for civility these days from those who call the Democrat Party home. Because, you see, civility, like compromise, is something always meant for the other guys, never for those on the left.

And then on Wednesday this pathetic creep provided what was described as being an apology for comparing Republican opposition to Barry "Almighty" to the infamous Jonestown cult that inspired more than 900 people to die by cyanide poisoning in 1978. The White House needs "to focus on executive action given that they are facing a second term against a cult worthy of Jonestown in charge of one of the houses of Congress," Podesta was quoted as saying in a Politico magazine article that was published on Tuesday. He also said, "I think (Obama administration officials) were naturally preoccupied with legislating at first, and I think it took them a while to make the turn to execution. They are focused on that now." Adding, "They have to realize that the president has broad authority, that he’s not just the prime minister. He can drive a whole range of action. They always grasped that on foreign policy and in the national security area. Now they are doing it on the domestic side."

Podesta, in case you were unaware of who this hack is, is the rather unsavory character who founded the ultra-liberal think tank, Center for American Progress, in 2003. This rant of his was met with swift pushback from conservatives. GOP strategist, Rory Cooper tweeted, "Dem Rep. Ryan was killed in Jonestown. His then-aide, Rep. Speier was shot (five times)." He went on to say, "Podesta’s comments show them no honor." And then Brendan Buck, spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner, tweeted, "John Podesta seems like a real class act." Podesta offered a hasty apology for the "old interview." He spoke to Politico in the fall, before he was tapped to join Barry. "In an old interview, my snark got in front of my judgment," Podesta tweeted Wednesday. And said, "I apologize to Speaker Boehner, whom I have always respected." Look, this is the way those on the left operate. They think that they can get away with saying some of the most toxic rhetoric, and if they get called on it, they can just ‘apologize’, sort of.

Podesta was brought in to advise the White House regarding the growing list problems that seem to have engulfed Barry’s second term including the growing number of scandals and the rather rough reception for Obamacare brought about primarily by the rather rocky rollout. This is how liberals deal with things, far from reverting to actually fessing up on things or, heaven forbid, telling the truth, they resort to bringing in some slimy public relation kind of guy in the hopes of being able to hoodwink the American people. The attempt here will be, as is always the case, portray those who are trying to get to the bottom of the growing corruption of this administration, as being the true bad guys. Accusing them of trying to prevent Barry from, say, spending us into oblivion, for no other reason than because Barry is black. Even though, the fact that Barry is black has nothing to do with why he needs to be stopped, it’s because he’s a committed Socialist, and has shown that he’s determined to destroy this country.

BEWARE OF THE TRAITORS AMONG US…

trai·tor: who betrays one's country, a cause, or a trust.

So how many of you folks felt that knife going into your back earlier today? And not just once, mind you, but twelve separate times! Because once again those of us who consider ourselves conservative, have been betrayed by our elected officials who, through their arrogant actions have once again revealed themselves to be traitors that they are to our once proud republic. Because they chose to stand with ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid in direct opposition to the American people, they made what was a very conscious decision to betray those whom they were sent to Congress to represent. And by taking such action they have once more proven themselves to completely unworthy of the trust that has been placed in them. And they should be made to suffer the consequences.

What I’m talking about here is the vote for cloture that took place earlier today on what is being referred to as being the Ryan-Murray budget deal. A vote that has now cleared the way for what will be a simple majority vote that will result in even more reckless spending. And I think it safe to say that had there not been significant involvement on the part of 12 RINOS, the necessary threshold of 60 votes would not have been possible. So with the successful vote today it can now safely be said that RINO’s have been complicit in this bill, from beginning to end. Because it was a RINO who created it and it was with the assistance of RINOs that the Senate voted 67-33 to advance this supposed compromise, that conservatives oppose as being fiscally irresponsible.

In making sure that the ‘Dingy Harry’ would be successful in getting the votes that he needed, our 12 RINOs were only too eager to ally themselves with all 55 Senate Democrats in voting to begin debate on the measure. Those traitors joining in with the Democrats to invoke cloture included the usual RINO suspects of: Lamar Alexander, Roy Blunt, Saxby Chambliss, Susan Collins, Jeff Flake, Orrin Hatch, John Hoeven, Johnny Isakson, Ron Johnson, John McCain, Lisa Murkowski, and Rob Portman. Traitors all, and accomplices in the destruction of our children’s future. From this point forward, every one of these individuals must now have a target placed on the back, politically speaking, and to then be gotten rid of at the people’s earliest convenience.

The two-year deal will effectively gut the mandatory spending caps, aka sequester, which was dreamt up by Democrats in first place and imposed by Congress back in 2011. This will allow a $63 Billion increase in the discretionary budget, but it does absolutely nothing to reform entitlement programs, which are the main drivers of growing deficits and debt, The Heritage Foundation reported. The deal also raises certain "fees," or taxes. A simple majority is now all that needed for passage, which virtually guarantees its passage, that vote is expected to happen later this week. Speaking on the Senate floor after the vote, Sen. Mike Enzi said the deal breaks a promise made to taxpayers in 2011 to curtail spending. And he, of course, was right.

So where is it that we are to go to from here? Well, to be honest with you, I’m not sure. Because at this point there are very few who can genuinely be trusted. And maybe that’s what they’re trying to do, convince us that we should just give up trying to get them to do their job. But instead of giving up what we need to do is to come together, regardless of where it is that we live, and to then come up with a plan that will effectively put every single one of these turncoats on notice. We need to go in search of conservative candidates who we can then run against them. And even if we lose, isn’t it better to have fought and lost than not to have fought at all? My God, we can’t simply sit idly by while they go about destroying the future of our children. Can we?

RINOS TAKE CENTER STAGE ON THE BUDGET BILL…

Frankly, I’m getting really pissed off. I was reading somewhere how it is that several ‘conservative’ Senate Republicans have now swung their support behind what some have described as being a bipartisan budget bill. What it really is, is a Democrat/RINO bill, and hardly bipartisan. And now with the support of these so-called ‘conservative’ Republicans there was enough momentum to win a pivotal test, 67-33, in the Senate over what was described as being the rather passive resistance of top Republican leaders. If I understand things correctly, apparently there were more than enough RINOs to successfully advance the measure over the filibuster threshold demanded by Republican leaders, and on to the vote scheduled for tomorrow. And just as I figured, ‘Dingy Harry’ had little trouble in getting the RINOs that he needed.

After all, it was as recent as this past Monday that we heard from Sen. Orrin Hatch, Johnny Isakson, Saxby Chambliss, as well as a strong hint by John Hoeven, as all indicated that they would be backing the measure. And with that it appeared to seal enough Republican support to advance the measure to Barry’s desk. Sen. Ron Johnson, whose home-state GOP colleague, Paul Ryan, was a top negotiator on the bill, swung behind it on Sunday. Other RINOs, like Arizona Republicans John McCain and Jeff Flake, said last week they would be only too glad to help advance the bill. So all of these so-called ‘conservatives’ were only too happy to go along with this legislation which contains a measure that screws over our military veterans while unionized public employees were allowed to escape essentially unscathed.

One does not need to be a rocket scientist to be able to understand why it is the Democrats are so much in favor of this bill. The measure would essentially gut the harshest cuts to agency budgets required under automatic spending curbs known as sequestration, a Democrat idea that they have long sought a way to get rid of. It would replace $45 Billion in scheduled cuts for the 2014 budget year already under way, lifting agency budgets to a little more than $1 Trillion, and essentially freeze spending at those levels for 2015. It substitutes other spending cuts and new fees to replace the automatic cuts and devotes a very modest $23 Billion to reducing the deficit over the next 10 years or $2.3 Billion per year. In other words, when it comes to cutting spending, it’s little more than a joke.

So thanks in large part to these RINOs, ‘Dingy Harry’ succeeded in advancing the budget bill today, with a vote to send the House-passed measure to Barry "Almighty" scheduled for Wednesday. And in what was really nothing more than an attempt to make some sort of lame excuse for his being a turncoat, it was Hatch who said, "Sometimes the answer has to be yes," Hatch said. "The reality is that Republicans only control one-half of one-third of government. Ultimately, this agreement upholds the principles conservatives stand for and, with Democrats controlling the White House and the Senate, it is the best we could hope for." I would beg to differ with the good senator. This bill comes nowhere near to upholding conservative principles. And the fact that he can even make such an idiotic claim is laughable.

And there were several instances where we had some frauds who, being up for re-election in 2014, were attempting to do nothing more than to burnish their non-existent conservative credentials as they face Tea Party-backed challengers back home. One such pathetic fraud happens to be the Senate's No. 2 Republican, John Cornyn of Texas, who announced his opposition Monday morning on his campaign's website. However it would seem that that was a step that his Senate office was unwilling to take. And strangely enough, it was later deleted from the site once reporters from The Associated Press asked for confirmation of a Cornyn quote that appeared on the conservative Internet site Breitbart.com. In other words, the good senator from Texas, being the RINO that he is, was simply trying to have it both ways.

Look, there continues to be any number of people, from both parties, busily running around and telling anyone who will listen that this bill is far from being perfect. And there are some Republicans, but to few in number to matter as it turns out, who are describing it as the joke that it really is. And Boehner’s temper tantrum notwithstanding, this bill is essentially nothing more than yet another piece of bogus legislation that accomplishes absolutely nothing more than to kick the can a little further down the road. It eases $63 Billion in scheduled spending cuts over the next two years and replaces them with longer-term savings measured over 10 years, many of which don't accumulate until 2022-23. Deficits would increase by $23.2 Billion in 2014 and by $18.2 Billion the year after that.

If it does anything, this bill should make it more obvious than ever that the American people now have no one on their side. We have no other option than to be forced to swallow this thing. The majority of politicians, from both parties, are going to vote how they see fit, not in way that their constituents would like them to, nor in a way that would be best for addressing the dire financial straits that this country now finds itself. And what it does for us on the right is make it all the more plain that we have a growing number of self-professed conservatives who now need to be flushed from their cushy jobs. And those up for re-election must be forced to at least complete in a primary against candidates who more closely align themselves with conservative positions on such things as spending, immigration, abortion and marriage.

HEAVEN HELP US IF HILLARY WINS…

On Monday, Dianne Feinstein, Democrat crackpot from California, penned what has been described as being an editorial for the Santa Clarita Valley News. Now the purpose of this bizarre little piece was apparently Feinstein way to call for Hitlery Clinton to run for president. It was entitled, "Hillary Now More Than Ever." In this twisted work of pure fiction, Ms. Feinstein recalled how in 2000, Hitlery called Feinstein asking for advice, and how "honored" she was.

Feinstein then went on to write about how she first met Hitlery back in 1992 and how she was "immediately impressed by her commitment to helping people and her grasp of complex policy issues," going on to call her "one of the most talented and impressive woman I’ve ever known." Now keep in mind here that Ms. Feinstein didn’t bother to point out a single outstanding accomplishment for Hitlery, so obviously it takes very little to impress Ms. Feinstein,

Instead, all that Ms, Feinstein did was to simply suggest that Hitlery was what she referred to as being an "international superstar" who "did her homework" and "worked across the aisle." Now in order for her to go so far as to portray the famously partisan Hitlery as somehow a bipartisan hero had to have required a journey into some form of alternant universe because no such thing was ever seen to take place in this universe. Hitlery is the perfect definition of political hack.

And then Feinstein recalled the get-together in her home between Hitlery and then-Senator Barry "Almighty" in 2008 after Hitlery lost the nomination to Barry. How I would have love to been a fly on the wall. Feinstein wrote, "Cynics questioned Hillary’s commitment to that cause, but those of us who knew her well had no doubt: she would be an invaluable asset on the campaign trail and eventually a trusted adviser in the Obama administration’s cabinet."

What Ms. Feinstein failed to mention, no doubt not wanting to spoil the imagine she was so desperate to conger up, was the fact that Hitlery was quickly marginalized within the administration to make way for foreign policy gurus ranging from John Kerry-Heinz to Richard Holbrooke. Nonetheless, Feinstein asserted, and without evidence, that Hitlery was an "outstanding diplomat" who was "always a steady hand on the foreign policy rudder." But no mention of Benghazi was made.

But Ms Feinstein just couldn’t seem contain her praise of Hitlery as just continued to burst forth. Feinstein, who must have a rather strange definition for patriotism, went on to say, "Hillary is a patriot who loves her country completely. Her deep commitment to public service and progressive causes runs through her veins." I would argue that Hitlery loathes her country. And then, and in true sexist fashion, Feinstein said that Hitlery would make a great president because she is a woman.

And in what was the silliest part of this piece, Feinstein said, "We both have a daughter, and I know Chelsea enriches Hillary’s life far and above any achievement in politics or government. That special relationship is one reason the well-being of women and girls has been central to her agenda, as far back as the United Nations Women’s Conference in Beijing nearly 20 years ago." And yet, Hitlery can so casually ignore the plight of women in the Middle East.

And finally the brilliant Ms. Feinstein concluded her bizarre little editorial by saying, "I was an early and enthusiastic supporter during Hillary’s run for the White House in 2008. I believed she would be a spectacular leader and a transformative president for our country. I still believe that. Now more than ever." Sorry, but for me, one transformative president in my lifetime has been more than enough. And I doubt that we’ll be able to make it past this one intact.

CHUCKIE SCHUMER SAYS, “IT’S TIME TO START GOING AFTER THE VETS”

According to that well-known liberal douchebag, Chuckie Schumer, the time has now come for those of us who comprise the nation’s retired veterans, to pony up and to pay our "fair share" by facing some long overdue cuts in what are our already rather paltry benefits as the federal government goes about looking for more ways to trim expenditures. I have a better idea. Why don’t we start with useless fucks like old Chuckie, here, along with those members of Congress who have since moved to what are, most assuredly, some pretty cushy retirements? Those overpaid scumbags bring home more in 1 year than I do in 5.

Schumer made this idiotic suggestion in an appearance, where else but, on the network that has essentially become nothing more than a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party, MSNBC. And in appearing on "Morning Joe", Schumer said, "Civilian federal employees have been cut, cut, cut. I think there was a feeling, if you're going to cut them further, which was done, that the military retirees should have about an equal amount. It's small." As much as this old dolt would like us all to believe those poor federal employees have been made to shoulder so much more of the burden, it’s really just a crock.

In the budget plan brokered by RINO Paul Ryan and Democrat Patty Murray, military service personnel under the age of 62 would take a one percent cut to retirement benefits. The move has drawn fire from military and veterans organizations. And it was while speaking of this supposed compromise that Chuckie said, "I think (Rep.) Paul Ryan and (Sen.) Patty Murray looked everywhere they could to try and find compromise. Everybody had to take a little." This guy is such a liar. Had they truly looked everywhere, as has been claimed, they could have very easily come up with sufficient saving, but the chose not to.

But Schumer maintained members of Congress should not be forced to take a pay cut. He said they have already sacrificed, since they have not seen a pay raise "in a long time," and explained most of them are paying more for healthcare insurance. Sacrificed, really? This asshole doesn’t know the meaning of the word. These useless individuals make $174,000 per year , with those in what are called leadership positions make $193,400 while the Speaker brings home $223,500. And that doesn’t include their rather impressive list of benefits. And he has the nerve to say, "We have taken pretty big cuts."

And then in sounding quite confident, which I suppose he has every reason to be, old Chuckie went on to predict that the bill will pass the Senate, saying Democrats would "reluctantly vote for it" because they realize the threat of a government shutdown is a "brutal alternative." Come on, it was the Democrats who forced the last ‘partial’ shutdown. And what’s he mean that Democrats will vote for it, reluctantly? Why shouldn’t they vote for it? It essentially guts sequester which is exactly what they wanted to have happen and what our spineless Republicans were only too willing to hand over.

‘ESTABLISHMENT’ REPUBLICANS GO ON THE ATTACK…

Once again we have those who proudly identify themselves as being "establishment Republicans" are showing us which side they are on as they set about the business of throwing we the American people under the proverbial bus. Their latest tactic is to now go about warning important donors that they could possibly lose support in Congress on defense contracts and other issues if they don't step up to help beat back Tea Party primary challenges to incumbent senators. Which proves that we the people must take matters into our own hands!

According to the Wall Street Journal, one of those good ol’ boys, and a guy who’s about as useless as a screen door on a submarine, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, recently warned officials from defense contractor BAE Systems Inc. that if Tea Party factions begin winning primaries, military spending will take a hit. This proves that there is pretty much nothing that old Mitch won’t say in his effort to stave off attempts by conservatives to increase their numbers. We need no more moderates like this guy.

"In the current debate, spending cuts have trumped robust national-security spending," one person who attended a fundraiser for the Kentucky Republican, told the Journal. "The main message he was pushing was: Get involved, mainly to teach those who are primarying incumbents that it is not helpful to run against incumbents who are champions for the industry." What we need are some stalwart conservative champions who are willing to stand up for the American people and against the status quo!

More than half of the 12 Senate Republicans up for reelection in 2014, including McConnell, face challenges from Tea Party candidates. Personally I think that that is a great idea. But McConnell doesn’t see it that way, and has been very busy, as a number of others have, in warning potential contributors that if Republicans and their supporters can’t come together, the party has no chance of taking back control of the Senate. I would argue that the Tea Party helps in that endeavor. People want to see a clear and obvious difference.

And then of course we have our joke of a House Speaker, John Boehner of Ohio. He’s another spineless wimp who has, on a number of occasions, lobbied for establishment Republicans to beat back their Tea Party brethren. He recently had a tantrum accusing the group of handicapping the party by "forcing GOP lawmakers to take ill-advised policy positions," a reference to the federal government shutdown, which many Americans blamed on Republicans. Actually, it was more of a shutdown that wasn’t, and had very little of an impact.

And the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has also chose to now enter the fray by pouring money into the coffers of establishment candidates from Alabama to Idaho, candidates who tend to be much more ‘moderate’ than do their Tea Party-aligned challengers to the right. The Chamber blames the grass roots faction for holding the country hostage by demanding the defunding of Obamacare, resulting in the 16-day ‘partial’ government shutdown in October. However, the Chamber also favors amnesty for illegal aliens and is pressing for it’s passage.

The Tea Party is "a reactionary conservative force . . . that prefers the sorts of dramatic changes that threaten the stability traditional conservatives usually seek to preserve," writes University of Washington political scientist Christopher Parker, author of "Change They Can’t Believe In," in a blog piece from, of course, none other than the Washington Post. What else can we expect from this rag? They root not for the American people, but for Democrats and Democrat wannabes like McConnell and Boehner. We need those who are true conservatives!

"Reactionary conservatives fear losing their way of life amid social change. To preserve their group’s social prestige, they’re willing to undermine long-established norms and institutions," Parker observes. "Furthermore, reactionary conservatives are more likely to subscribe to conspiracy theories as a means of explaining the perceived erosion of their dominance. Reactionary conservatives will, therefore, claim that their "enemies" are destroying their way of life. Compromise is commensurate with defeat, not political expediency." That’s bullshit!

Many people, these days, see very little difference between these establishment Republicans and Democrats. And I’m one of them. Next November we will have what many say is an excellent opportunity to take back the senate, and if folks, when stepping to the voting booth, see little or no difference between the candidates running, where’s the incentive to vote for the candidate with the R after his or her name? Every single incumbent on our side of the aisle should be sent packing. They have proven to be useless and self-serving.

And as proof of that I offer up the fact that the Senate Republicans chose to stand with ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid rather than the House Republicans on the defunding of Obamacare. And add to that the fact that I’m now hearing rumors about how these establishment Republicans are about to cave not only on amnesty but also on raising the minimum wage. That’s insanity! What we need are people who are not afraid to advocate what we need to do in order to prevent Barry and his merry band of Democrats from moving any further with destruction of America.

HAPPY KWANZAA…NOT!!!

Well folks, it’s that time of year again. That time of year when black folks everywhere are said to gather together and celebrate Kwanzaa, the purported "African" holiday celebrated only in the United States. But I often wonder how many of those who choose to celebrate this most bogus of supposed holidays are aware, or even care, that it was created by a man with a very troubled past. For Kwanzaa’s creator, Maulana Karenga, has a violent criminal record, is a racist, a rapist, and yes now a professor.

But unfortunately, just like the manufactured holiday, the fella who essentially invented out of nothing more than whole cloth, Maulana Karenga, is also nothing more than a false front created out of what is nothing more than fluff and nonsense. As it happens, his real name is not "Maulana Karenga," but is instead Ronald McKinley Everett, aka Maulana Ron Karenga, aka Maulana Karenga. And subterfuge, reinvention and smoke-and-mirrors seem to be Karenga’s stock in trade.

Karenga created Kwanzaa in 1966. It stems from the black freedom movement of the 1960s, and starts the day after Christmas and ends on the first day of the New Year. In the 60s, this guy, Karenga, was in an organization called US. US was a black power militant group that he founded, and whose members actually murdered two Black Panthers in 1969. Yes, kindly professor Maulana Karenga, the murder-touting, segregationist, racist. What a role model for the kiddies isn’t he?

So anyway, the esteemed Mr. Karenga has a long and rather impressive criminal record. In 1971, for instance, he served time in jail for assault. But it wasn’t mere assault that Karenga was convicted of. It was the sexual assault and even torture that he perpetrated against some of his own female followers. At the time, The L.A. Times reported that he placed a hot soldering iron in one woman’s mouth and used a vise to crush another’s toe, of all things. Pretty sick, don’t you think?

Of course if it wasn’t for those in our state-controlled media who have given Karenga’s criminality a wholesale whitewashing, this faux holiday could never have gained any of the traction that it has. Put it this way, imagine if famed Ku Klux Klan member David Duke had created a holiday. Do you think those in the state-controlled media would have happily sold his creation to a misinformed public without mentioning Duke’s personal history? Not a chance, and rightfully so.

OBAMA, THE WORST PRESIDENT OF ALL TIME???

When trying to determine just who it is that deserves the title of being the ‘Worst President’ in history, it would be difficult, if not impossible, to deny the fact that Barry would rightfully belong near the top of any list of potential candidates. But to be sure, there would have to be presidents of both parties included on any such list compiled by anyone who would be approaching the subject honestly.

But in having said that, and again if we’re being honest, I think it fair to say that it has always been the presidents belonging to one particular political party, more so than the other, who can be said to have done far more damage to this country. That would be because that party has, nearly since its creation, been on the constant prowl for ways to bring the people further under the control of the government.

So in assembling our list of usual suspects, let’s first begin by listing the more notable presidents of the latter 20th century and the early 21st century, because they’re the ones people are going to be more familiar with. Democrats like Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, "Slick Willie" Clinton, Barry "Almighty", and Republicans Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and George W Bush.

Now in looking over these two groups, stop and think for a minute which group of men seemed to be far more interested in increasing the size, scope and power of the federal government than they were in abiding by their oath of office requiring them to protect and defend our Constitution, and the rights it granted to the people? Frankly, I’m thinking that answer to that should be quite obvious.

But even though one group of men can be said to have committed what many might describe as being crimes against our Constitution, even I can’t say that what they did, they did out of any hatred for their country. Of all the men listed above, I think it fair to say that only one can be said to actually hate the country that he was elected to lead. And it is for that reason that he can be said to have the distinction of being our 'Worst President.'

TED CRUZ, WORLD’S THIRD MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON…

It seems like only yesterday that we were hearing what was a near endless steam of critics, from both sides of the aisle, as they condemned, even ridiculed as being nothing more than a complete waste of time, Sen. Ted Cruz’s 21 hour filibuster against the debacle that we have all come to know as Obamacare. Funny thing, though, but because of a rollout that was nothing short a disaster, and the fact that millions of Americans have already lost their healthcare coverage, that they had been promised they would be able to keep, period, I think it can now be said that Sen. Cruz has been more than vindicated.

And I think what can also be said to be proof that Cruz has been vindicated, is the fact that, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll, the Texas Republican was considered to be the world's third-most influential person of 2013, falling behind only Pope Francis and the creator of Obamacare, Barry "Almighty." Eleven percent of the 1,000 adults polled on Dec. 11-12 picked Cruz as the most influential person, Rasmussen announced on Sunday. Cruz was also a runner up in Time Magazine’s annual "Person of the Year" selection last week, with Time selecting the pope for the top honor.

In the Rasmussen survey, 23 percent of those surveyed picked the pope as the most influential, followed by 21 percent choosing Barry. Cruz, one of the most prominent politicians aligned with the tea party movement, was followed on the list by National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden, who was seen as most influential by eight percent of those surveyed. The survey also went across party lines. Among Republicans, Cruz was second behind the pope, with 19 percent calling the freshman senator and Tea Party leader the world’s most influential leader.

Summing up the rest of the list, four percent of those taking part in the poll, picked Russian President Vladimir Putin as being most-influential, followed by three percent who actually picked House Speaker John Boehner and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Two dramatically opposite women, singer Miley Cyrus and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton each gathered two percent of the vote. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai each scored one percent.

According to Rasmussen, many Americans, especially those of Catholic faith, believe Pope Francis has improved people's perceptions of the church. However, Barry's approval ratings are at a record low following this fall's botched Obamacare rollout. The poll also showed that a divide exists between the sexes. Women were more likely to pick the pope as most influential, while men were twice as likely to pick Cruz. And, oddly enough, people over 65 felt more strongly that the pope and Barry are the most influential. I can understand them picking the pope, but not Barry.

I think it safe to say that most establishment Republicans, as well as just about every single Democrat, would like us all to believe that Cruz is really nothing more than a kook with a huge ego, and is a guy who resides out there on the rightwing fringe. But try as they might, it would seem that the only ones that they have been able to convince of this, are themselves. I think a great many people, myself included, see Cruz as being a straight shooter. Now I must confess that, while I do not agree with everything that he says or does, I still view him as providing a positive influence in Congress.

SHEILA JACKSON-LEE, POSTER CHILD FOR THE MENTALLY DERANGED…

I think most of us can agree, after living the lives that we have, that there are, in this world, morons and then there are MORONS. And then are still those who, because of some twist of fate, and even though they possess less brains than your average ice cube, are able to attain for themselves a position of some power. It is these folks who more often than not prove themselves to be quite dangerous, because is this last category that seems to include a vast majority of our politicians.

And it is Sheila Jackson-Lee, a proud Democrat who hails from the great state of Texas, who, without a doubt, can be considered as being a prime example of those who inhabit this last category. And she goes about proving that fact on what is a daily basis. Her most recent example came just this past week when she saw fit to actually call for unemployment benefits to be distributed to "working men and women." She made this nutty suggestion as part of a speech delivered from the floor of the House.

In sounding more like an escapee from any one of our fine institutions for the mentally challenged the a member of Congress, she was heard to say, "Let us vote to provide for unemployment insurance for working men and women so that faces across America will not have the tear of desperation on their face," adding, "we cannot allow this to happen this season of joy and giving." What? This makes about as much sense as a minimum wage of $15 per hour, another thing supported by this loon.

Strangely enough Ms. Lee has managed to convince those in her district to send her back to Congress every 2 years since 1995. Which may say more about them that it does her. Anyway, how she chose to justify her nutty suggestion was by noting that TIME magazine had named Pope Francis as its man of the year. She said, "So we can’t be only about our self in this holiday season, particularly as we recognize that the Pope being made man of the year has spoken to the world eloquently about the whole issue of the vulnerable.

But for her to make such a demand would seem to suggest one of two things: either she refuses to take serious the current fiscal situation in which we now find ourselves, which her party has played a major role in creating or, she is well aware of our dire financial straits and is somehow seeking out new ways to make things even worse. Now being that I’m jut naturally suspicious of Democrats, as well as their motives, I would tend to believe that, rather than out of some supposed concern for others, she only wants to make worse our already out of control spending problem.

‘RINO’ RYAN SAYS, “RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN THE BACK OF HIS MIND”…

Now wait just a minute here. After telling us all what were essentially nothing more than lies in his effort to convince us that his spending bill was something that it’s not, he’s actually entertaining the thought of running for president? Yup, I guess so, because as ridiculous as that may sound, Paul Ryan says that running for president in 2016 is "in the back of my mind." He might just as well keep it "in the back of his mind" because what’s the sense in electing another liar to replace the liar that we have now? There’s nothing about that that makes any sense whatsoever. Why would we want to do that?

"People always say, 'Well this could hurt your future ambitions,'" the House Budget chairman told ABC News, in reference to the budget deal he helped craft and that has now passed the House. "If I'm not good at this job, why should I ask somebody for another job?" The Republican congressman and former vice presidential candidate has been criticized by Tea Party groups over the budget deal he worked on with the Democratic Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray. As far as I’m concerned, whether or not he’s good at this job is up for debate. It’s easy to lie about something which is what he did.

His critics say the deal didn't cut spending enough and that Ryan compromised too much. The House Budget Committee chairman said that this budget agreement was necessary to avoid another government shutdown. "We don't think government shutdowns are a good idea," he said. I’m sorry but this is nothing more than a false argument, especially in light of the fact that it was already shown that the last supposed shutdown had very little impact, if any, on just about anything. So I don’t understand why we needed to hand to the Democrats pretty much everything they wanted to avoid another.

And then in repeating that same old tired argue that I’ve heard until I’m ready to puke, Ryan again made the claim that in a divided government, "you're not always going to get what you want every time . . . You have to make some common ground decisions to get things done." Adding, "My job is not to cloud my judgement with personal ambition." Ryan went on to say, "My job is to do my job and that is things like this. If I have to stop myself from doing what I think is right to become president, then I don't want to be president." My question is why is always the Republicans that must go in search of common ground?

So in what is my attempt to remind him exactly what his job is, let me explain. His job is to do nothing more than to protect and defend our Constitution. That document, which has been under assault 24/7/365 since our current president, socialist that he is, first came diddy-boppin into the Oval Office. But nope, old Paul just couldn’t quite bring himself to do that. Nope, no way Jose. So instead, what does he do? He joins with a flaming lib from the Senate to cook up this cockamamie spending bill that does nothing more than to gut the sequester, which is exactly what the Democrats wanted. Nice goin there, Paul!

And despite John Boehner’s tantrum, nothing, absolutely nothing, was accomplished with this bill other than to increase spending. And that Ryan can now even remotely consider running for president, especially after having played a part in creating this farce, is nothing short of being hilarious. He would be no more desirable as president than any other RINO now considering making a run. We are going broke, we’re robbing from our kids and grand-kids, and Ryan all wants to do is to spend $63 Billion now and cut $23 Billion later, much later. And he’s also making noise about the need to support amnesty for illegal aliens.

Is it me or does it seem that we have fewer and fewer folks in Congress who we are able to trust and who actually share our values and our vision of where we wish our country to go. We seem to have many who like to call themselves ‘conservative’ but sadly we have very few actually are ‘conservative’. And nothing proves that better than this legislation which accomplishes very little in trying to remedy that which ails us, that being of course, a near terminal addiction to ever more spending. And to portray this thing as being something that it most definitely is not, is nothing short of irresponsible.

So sadly what appears to be underway here, at least in the House which, oddly enough, is supposed to be under the control of the good guys, is nothing more than a blatant attempt to hoodwink the American people. And what is even more odd, is the fact that some of the more prolific lies are being told to us by a guy who says that running for president remains in the back of his mind. As far as I’m concerned he has officially disqualified himself from running. After what has been a steady stream of lies that have come from our current president, I’m in no hurry to elect someone else who can lie to me so easily.

BOEHNER & CO…THEY’RE JUST NOT LISTENING…

You know, I suppose it’s one thing to be lied to by the likes of Nancy Pelosi and ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid, Hell it’s even become something almost to be expected, but I find it rather offensive to be lied to, repeatedly, by those who profess to be the watchdogs of our conservative issues. And I feel that in respect to this latest "budget deal", I have not only been lied to by those whom I have actually voted for, but I’ve also essentially been told that I have no credibility in making my feelings known. Apparently what I think is of no importance to our ‘leaders’ in Congress as they go about the business of passing whatever it is that they want.

And in having done so, Boehner & Co. should not be surprised by the backlash nor by the fact that conservatives are now busying themselves savaging the recently passed budget deal negotiated by Paul Ryan, RINO, and Patty Murray, Democrat. A deal that increases federal expenditures by $63 Billion during the next two years, breaching the $967 Billion spending limit set by the Budget Control Act of 2011 (BCA), in exchange for mythical future deficit cuts totaling and rather paultry $23 Billion. So in an age of $17 Trillion in debt, we’ve somehow been able to agree on cuts totaling $23 Billion over 10 years. Really?

In speaking of this deal, Heritage Action communications director Dan Holler said, "This deal is a step in the wrong direction. There’s no doubt about that." He went on to say, "I’m not sure there’s anything in this bill for conservatives to like." He said, "The Democrats should have been forced to live with sequestration levels. Republicans missed a huge opportunity to bring Democrats to the table to talk about major entitlement reform," adding that the Ryan deal "takes away one of the only pieces of leverage the Republicans had over President Obama and the Democrats. That leverage is now gone." And he’s 100 percent right!

"I just don’t get it," agreed Veronique de Rugy, an economist at George Mason University’s Mercatus Center. "Why would you exchange real spending restraint for nothing?" She said, "The most important thing – the most devastating thing – is that this deal blows the sequester caps. This is the one and only victory the GOP has had in restoring fiscal responsibility. It was a meek victory, but a victory nonetheless." What I can only assume is that the Republicans have absolutely no interest in taking the measures that we all know must be taken if we are to have any hope of addressing our growing fiscal mess.

Ms. de Rugy went on to say, "I think Paul Ryan thought it was more important to avoid a battle over the CR [Continuing Resolution], but if they can’t keep in place the sequester cuts, which are minor, how can we believe that first, they will actually go back and implement these cuts, starting in 2016; and second, that they can actually do the work that has to be done to reform entitlements in the future, which should be everybody’s highest priority?" She added, "It does raise the question of why on earth we should believe Republicans ever again." Her points are valid and are the very reason conservatives hate this deal.

That same sentiment was also echoed by Steven Stanek, a research fellow in budget and tax policy at the Heartland Institute, who noted that "no Congress can force a future Congress to do anything, so all we know for sure is that we’ll soon see higher government spending. Considering the dismal history of promises of future fiscal restraint, it’s a safe bet the promised long-term deficit reductions will never happen." Brandon Arnold, vice president of government affairs at the National Taxpayers Union (NTU), said "There’s very little in the budget deal for taxpayers." I’m no expert, but I think he’s being more than a little too kind here.

And it was also Mr. Arnold who said, "There is a lot of spending at the beginning, but the promised cuts will not occur until the very end, in years nine and 10." And he went on to said, "Congress has lost a ton of credibility after making a promise to cut spending just two years ago." Adding, "Now they’re promising to cut it nine years from now. That’s a hard pill to swallow. It would have been far preferable for them to do nothing, maintain the status quo and keep the BCA sequester in place." You know, Republicans insist upon making deals like this, spend now but cut later, much later. It’s ridiculous, because the cut NEVER materialize.

Christine Harbin Hanson of Americans for Prosperity (AFP), also took issue with Ryan’s assurances that the deal he negotiated does not raise taxes. She said, "One of our biggest concerns is that this is a massive increase in spending and uses a number of revenue raisers such as aviation fees and also shifting Medicare spending caps into the future." She also said, "These are really a fee in name only." Adding, "But these aviation fees are not going into a specific reinvestment area to improve our infrastructure. Instead, they will be used to fuel spending elsewhere in government. If it looks and smells like a tax, it is a tax."

And in choosing to throw what was really nothing more than a temper tantrum, Boehner made it very clear just who it is that possesses zero credibility. And it certainly isn’t the conservative organizations that he sought to take potshots at. And ‘RINO’ Ryan is no better. Ryan did nothing more than to look the American people dead in the eye and then lie to them, repeatedly, which makes him no better than Boehner or, for that matter, Barry "Almighty". This entire debt deal is a complete fraud. And now here’s the truly scary part, we’re now forced into pinning all of our hopes on the Republicans in the Senate lead by the stellar Mitch McConnell. Not a very encouraging scenario.

FINGER POINTING IS NOT THE SOLUTION…

There seems to be a bit of a shooting war, of sorts, that’s currently underway with the conservative activist group FreedomWorks now returning fire at House Speaker John Boehner, who said on Thursday that conservative groups have "lost all credibility" by they’re choosing to attack the budget deal that was reached by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA). According to Boehner, "This budget agreement takes giant steps in the right direction." He added, "But when groups come out and criticize something they've never seen, you begin to wonder just how credible those actions are." Now if I was Boehner I wouldn’t be to quick to call into question someone else’s credibility.

As most should now be aware, Boehner, first on Wednesday and then again on Thursday, chose to assail those conservative groups who chose to openly oppose the latest budget deal, accusing them of having crossed some line and losing their credibility. "This budget agreement takes giant steps in the right direction," Boehner said. "But when groups come out and criticize something they've never seen, you begin to wonder just how credible those actions are." Adding, "Yesterday when the criticism was coming, frankly I thought it was my job and my obligation to stand up for conservatives here in the Congress who want more deficit reduction, stand up for the work that Chairman Ryan did."

Meanwhile, FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe said in a statement, "Speaker Boehner may not care about what fiscally conservative groups do, but grassroots Americans still care about what he’s doing in Washington." Mr. Kibbe went on to say, "When it comes to ‘credibility,’ actions speak louder than words. And right now, it looks like the Speaker is leading the charge for spending increases and recruiting Democrat votes in the House to help get it done." Which, personally, I think it is a pretty accurate assessment regarding what it is that we are seeing take place in the House. And I’ll be honest with you, from my standpoint it’s Boehner who’s currently suffering from a credibility problem.

In the past Boehner has always been hesitant to criticize conservative groups, such as Heritage Action and Club for Growth. Some of these groups have had a considerable influence on the Tea Party faction among House Republicans. Asked if he was officially saying "no" to the Tea Party, Boehner emphasized the deficit reduction achieved under the budget deal and said there was no reason to oppose it. "I came here to cut the size of government," he said. "That's exactly what this bill does, and why conservatives wouldn't vote for this or criticize the bill is beyond any recognition I could come up with." Boehner is being more than a bit disingenuous, even dishonest, in claiming to be a cutter of government.

In his choosing to sound off against Club For Growth, Heritage Action, FreedomWorks and Americans For Prosperity, Boehner said, "Frankly I think they're misleading their followers." Boehner also took the opportunity to defend his own ‘commitment’, or lack thereof, to conservative principles, which has repeatedly come under fire, especially when he has attempted to negotiate with Barry and congressional Democrats. He said, "I say what I mean and I mean what I say." Adding, "I'm as conservative as anybody around this place." But it’s important that we keep in mind here that under Boehner’s tenure as speaker, the national debt has now increased over $3 Trillion in less than 3 years.

And what should cause some additional angst is the fact that Boehner had ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid rushing to his defense. ‘Dingy’, who roughly a year ago was accusing Boehner of being a dictator, has praised Boehner for choosing to stand up to those evil conservative groups attacking the budget deal. At a press conference on Thursday ‘Dingy’ said, "I think it was a breath of fresh air as far as I'm concerned." And in referencing those outside groups, ‘Dingy Harry’ went on to ask, "Why are they doing this?" He added in what I’m thinking was an attempt to defend his own actions, "What is this supposed to accomplish? It is showing the American people why the [Senate] rules had to be changed."

To say the Boehner has been a disappointment, I suppose, will be seen by a majority of folks as being a bit of an understatement. Those of us, back in 2010, who had high hopes that were bringing some semblance of fiscal sanity to our nation’s capital have seen those hopes dashed, repeatedly. Our leaders in both Houses of Congress have demonstrated time and again that our priorities are NOT their priorities. And now when there exists a real opportunity for us to not only keep control of the House but to gain a majority in the Senate, what do we see our leadership doing? Trying their damnedest to be just like the Democrats. And I just don’t see how such a tactic will get us to where it is we need to be.

REPUBLICANS INSIST UPON BEING THEIR OWN WORST ENEMY…

Ok, I’m now pulling out what’s left of the hair I still have. Can someone please explain to me how it is that a man who has been nothing more than an accomplice in the committing of what continues to be the greatest exercise in generational theft in our history, still has the nerve to spout off at those conservatives who dare oppose what is nothing more than yet another example of kicking the can a little further down the road. Because while Boehner is quite determined in his claims that it is in anyway a deficit reducer, the cold hard fact is, it isn’t. And with that, the debt run up by the federal government since House Speaker John Boehner cut his first spending deal with Barry "Almighty" has now officially topped $3 Trillion.

I’m sure many of us had some pretty high hopes after we wrestled control of the House from Nancy Pelosi back in 2010. But what has transpired since this is nowhere near what we were hoping for when Boehner became speaker in January 2011. This is not what we had in mind. But Boehner, apparently, seemed to quickly forget how he came to be in his present position. He cut his first spending deal with Barry on March 1, 2011, and that deal took effect after March 4, 2011 when the continuing resolution then funding the government expired. Since then, the federal government has been funded under legislation approved by the Republican-controlled House that Boehner leads. And there has been no slow down in spending.

Let me offer a brief refresher course of Boehner’s tenure as Speaker, at least as it regards to the explosive level of spending that has taken place during that time. At the close of business on March 4, 2011, the federal debt was $14,182,627,184,881.03, according to the U.S. Treasury. As of the close of business on Dec. 10, 2013, it was $17,234,005,998,603.93. That means that under federal spending deals negotiated during Boehner's speakership and approved by a Republican-majority House that Boehner leads, the federal debt has increased $3,051,378,813,722.90. And Boehner is far from being the only guilty party here. Another RINO, Paul Ryan, the architect of this latest boondoggle, has been seen everywhere championing it’s ‘benefits’.

So in what is meant to be nothing more than an attempt put things in some sort of perspective, it was at the end of January 1989, the month that Ronald Reagan left office, that the federal debt was $2,697,957,000,000, and that would be according to the Monthly Statement of the Public Debt. The debt did not exceed $3 Trillion until March of 1990, when George H.W. Bush was president. At the end of March 1990, the total debt the United States government had accumulated in its then-almost-214 years of existence was almost exactly as much as the increase in the debt during the less than three years of Boehner’s speakership or, $3,051,956,000,000. And he still feels that he can lecture us about deficit reduction? Really, John?

Boehner is the 53rd speaker of the House. The recently deceased Tom Foley, the 49th speaker, held the office in 1990 when the total debt topped the $3 Trillion mark. Under Boehner, the debt has now increased more in less than three years than it did under the first 48 House speakers combined—running from Frederick Muhlenberg of Pennsylvania to Jim Wright of Texas. The $3,051,378,813,722.90 increase in the debt since Boehner cut his initial March 2011 spending deal with Barry "Almighty" equals $26,530.729 for each of the 115,013,000 households the Census Bureau estimates there are now in the United States. And Boehner is not the only one who can be blamed, sadly our entire leadership team SUCKS!

And still, even after all that, he somehow feels entitled to throw what was really nothing more than a tantrum when challenged by certain conservative groups about what this latest bogus ‘budget deal’ is supposed to accomplish. The people of his district back in Ohio now have a responsibility to those of us in the rest of the country to vote this useless douchebag out of office come next November. I mean it’s this kind of stuff that the Republicans insist upon doing that just pisses people off. They seem quite determined to make themselves appear as being a slightly less liberal version of the Democrats. And if they actually think that Obamacare is going to be enough of an issue for them to win on, next November, they’re dead wrong!

SO WHY IS BOEHNER STILL SPEAKER?

Over the course of my life there have been more than a few occasions where I have found myself wondering just how it was that someone was able to get their current job. Because it most certainly wasn’t because they knew how to do it better than anyone else. And it’s these days that I find myself wondering the very same thing about John Boehner. Because there are any number of other people in the House who would make a far better Speaker than Boehner. The man just does not possess the necessary skill set.

The latest thing that has me being more than just a little displeased with the guy is the fact that, on Wednesday, he chose to take a swipe at those conservative groups that "came out and opposed" the latest ‘bipartisan’ budget deal "before they ever saw it." It was while attending a Republican news conference that he whined, "They're using our members, and they're using the American people for their own goals. This is ridiculous." Adding, "Listen, if you're for more deficit reduction, you're for this agreement."

Now one of those "conservative group" at which Boehner seemed to direct his displeasure was The Heritage Foundation. Heritage said the budget deal "thoroughly disappoints," and the conservative group offers "three key facts on the sour deal": It busts through supposed spending caps; it taxes and spends; and it spends now and delays savings until later. It also noted that budget conferees failed to make substantive reforms to entitlement programs, which it describes as the real drivers of spending and debt.

Another such "conservative group" was Americans for Prosperity which said the deal reverses "hard-won bipartisan spending limits set by the sequester." It went on to say, "Spending levels were set by law at $967 billion. Exceeding those levels by $45 billion takes us in the wrong direction; further from fiscal responsibility, and further from the promise made to the American people." And another was FreedomWorks who urged a "no" vote on the bipartisan plan, saying it "is not acceptable to fiscal conservatives."

FreedomWorks went on to say, "The proposed plan would increase spending $63 billion above the budget caps set by Budget Control Act of 2011—the only actual spending control achieved by Congress under the Obama Administration. The deal claims to offset these costs by increasing various fees, and by making small reforms to government pensions. These new fees aren’t being used to shrink government or balance the budget; they’re simply a mask to help hide the breaching of the budget caps."

It was Paul Ryan, the RINO from Wisconsin, who led the Republican negotiations, and who said on Wednesday that the budget agreement "maintains 72 percent of the sequester in the next year and a half, and it preserves 92 percent of the sequester over the life of the sequester." And in sounding like he was only making excuses, he said Democrats wanted the sequester completely replaced, but "we didn't agree with that." He also emphasized the importance of finding "common ground" with Democrats.

Ryan went on say, "We know that this budget agreement doesn't come close to achieving what we want to achieve on our ultimate fiscal goals, but again, if we can get a step in the right direction, we're going to take that step and that's why we're doing this." However, this is such a small step, even a miniscule one, as to make it completely worthless. And regarding his comment about the importance of finding "common ground" with the Democrats, how about, for a change, they be made to find "common ground" with us?

So once again it is we who handed control of the House over to the Republicans back in 2010, and who then permitted them to hold onto it in 2012, who are the ones being knifed in the back. And I guess now they just expect us to do the same in 2014? But if I were them I wouldn’t be too quick to jump to that conclusion. Because if the outcome is going to be the same regardless of which party is in control, where’s the incentive for me to allow the Republicans to maintain their majority? It just doesn’t exist!

So here’s my question to Mr. Boehner: Just how badly do you wish to be permitted to keep your majority? And also, here’s a little word of advice for him: You might want to reevaluate your recent comments directed at those "conservative groups," because their criticism is well-deserved. And we the people are getting more than a little tired of being told to shut up and sit down, and that this is how things are going to be. I think it safe to say that Boehner is now on very thin ice, and his recent comments don’t help.

I’M SURROUNDED BY IDIOTS…

I sit at my desk every day in my place of employment, and I listen. And then I wonder. I wonder how is that people who possess at least some level of college education can be so stupid. Well, maybe stupid is a bit too harsh, let’s just say they are clueless. But it’s a level of being clueless that can be said to go to the extreme, and it’s what can also be said to make them, at least, appear as if they are stupid. And judging by some of the most incredibly stupid gibberish I hear come out of their mouths, I feel that it would be a pretty safe bet that most of them voted for Barry. One or two proudly claim to be independents as if making such a declaration somehow makes them better than those of us who identify with a specific political party.

I consider myself to be someone who is relatively well informed. And so I can say with some level of confidence, that most of what I hear being said by the inhabitants of the surrounding cubicles would seem to indicate that they, most definitely, are not. They sound as if they spend most of their time listening to CNN or perhaps even MSNBC. And there are many instances where they will say something that I know is simply untrue, but I simply bite my tongue unable to take the opportunity to enlighten them. It is a work environment, after all, and there are far more of them than there are of me. But if they only knew how stupid they really sound, and how hard I’m laughing at them, on the inside. Not that it would matter, I suppose.

Now there has been a time or two when I’ve let their stupidity get the better of me and I have felt compelled to say something. But it just seems to go in one ear and out the other. They live in a state of denial that can be described as being nearly impregnable. It’s really quite amazing how someone can deny that which is taking place right before their eyes. And I’m rather dumfounded how they can spend their days laughing and joking as if everything is going just fine. It’s as if they’re oblivious to our massive debt or how it is that the government is encroaching farther and farther into their private lives, or how every trip to the grocery store or gas station continues to get increasingly more costly. They don’t seem to care that our way of life is hanging by a thread.

And, frankly, what I find to be most amazing is the fact that I think every one of these people, or at least most of them, have children. And I can only assume that it must bother them very little that the man, as well as the party, that they seem to be so enamored with, has saddled their kids with an amount of debt that they will have no hope of ever being able to pay back. And they are quite comfortably clueless regarding what the effects of possessing such a massive debt are. And they apparently have given very little thought to what might happen were those holding that debt, for instance Red China, suddenly demand payment in full. Because what might it be that could handed over, in lieu of repayment of our debt, that would be acceptable to the Red Chinese?

So these are the things that I worry about, things that are very likely to have a rather drastic effect on the life of my daughter. I must admit I do get somewhat disheartened whenever I catch myself spending too much time looking out into the future. And what I see there has caused me many sleepless nights. Sometimes I wish I could be more like those with whom I work. What must it be like to be able to go through life pretending that everything is just fine and that there’s nothing to worry about. But try as I might, I just can’t. I am extremely disappointed in a great many of my fellow Americans, I had hoped they would be more protective of the freedoms that we have been blessed with. Instead they seem only too eager to lose them.

And just one last thing. I would like to ask all those who stop by here to please join me in saying a little prayer every night for our ailing republic. Because short of some pretty serious divine intervention, I’m afraid that it may not be around all that much longer. As it is, it’s already become barely recognizable.

INSANITY CONTINUES TO SURROUND OBAMACARE…

Ok, so I suppose I really shouldn’t be the least bit surprised by any of the insanity that is currently underway and is now circling around all things having to do with Obamacare, even the mentioning of Nelson Mandela. Which brings to the recent appearance of Karen Bass, a black Democrat from California, on Al "Bull Horn" Sharpton’s, MSNBC show, "PoliticsNation" on Friday. It was right out of the gate that this moron proceeded to condemn as being shameful something that, I guess, former Sen. Rick Santorum had said, where he supposedly compared Nelson Mandela's fight against apartheid to the ongoing fight against Obamacare.

It was quite evident that Ms Bass was none to happy with his little comparison as she immediately launched into a broadside aimed at Mr. Santorum. This flaming nut job said, "And actually if I was going to make a comparison, I would make the opposite comparison, because I think the struggle for justice, which Nelson Mandela led for so many years is similar as the struggle for the health care as a right for people in the richest country in the world, and so the idea that they would make that comparison in the opposite way is just tragic." First of all, I think this boob needs to come to grips with the fact that Mandela was nowhere near to being the man she claims.

And, also, if Santorum is going to make such comparisons, he too, needs to be more honest when touting Mandela’s fictional persona which bears absolutely no resemblance to the kind of man he really was. He was a ruthless terrorist who never shied away from causing a little collateral damage. What Santorum said on Fox News’ "O’Reilly Factor", was, "Nelson Mandela stood up against a great injustice and was willing to pay a huge price for that, and that's the reason he's mourned today, because of that struggle that he performed, but you're right." Personally, I just can’t bring myself to describe that which Mandela was a part of, as being a struggle.

Santorum went on to say, "I mean what he was advocating for was not necessarily the right answer, but he was fighting against some great injustice, and I would make the argument that you know we have a great injustice going on in this country with an ever-increasing size of government that is taking over and controlling people's lives, and Obamacare is front and center in that." I guess Ms. Bass took exception to Mr. Santorum’s comments, because she said in the future, Republicans will look back on this time in history and be "embarrassed." Somehow I seriously doubt that. Those who should be embarrassed are the ones now paying tribute to a cold-blooded murderer.

The bottom line here is that I think there is plenty of stupidity to go around here. And it is my humble opinion that the mentioning of Mandela belongs nowhere near the discussion of Obamacare, on either side of the argument. It’s a comparison that just doesn’t work. While I can understand, sort of, what Mr. Santorum was trying to communicate, I think that there are much better ways that he could have made his point. And the argument put forth by Ms. Bass, is nothing more than the same old, tired Democrat nonsense that we hear as nauseam, where we have to hear how healthcare is somehow perceived as being a constitutional right. Sorry, but it’s not.

NELSON MANDELA…MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING…

'THE HAPPY TERRORIST'

In what is yet another example of just how upside down things have gotten in the world today, it would appear that tens of thousands of people have united in a noisy celebration today at a rain-soaked emotional memorial service for a man who, while it continues to be claimed was some sort of global freedom icon, was really nothing more than a common thug who spent much of his time in the employ of the old Soviet Union. That man is, of course, Nelson Mandela. The service was attended by presidents and princes and watched by millions around the world. Apparently the only world leader with sufficient moral courage, and the good sense, not to show up was Benjamin Netanyahu.

But never fear Barry "Almighty", eager to take any opportunity to speak before a crowd, did show up and launched into all manner of flowery prose as he set about to eulogize a fellow socialist. He went so far as to describe Mandela as being a "giant of history" who became more than a smiling icon by showing the power of political action. "It is hard to eulogize any man . . . how much harder to do so for a giant of history, who moved a nation towards justice," Barry said in speaking of a man who was really nothing more than a ruthless psychpath who was responsible, in one way or another, for the death of countless innocent victims most of whom, of course, white. But let’s not go there.

To me it should be considered as being nothing short of a national embarrassment for the United States, that four of our presidents would actually choose to make the trip in order to "honor" such a man as Mandela. And I can’t help but wonder, especially since Barry seemed to be so eager to shake the hand of Raul Castro who was also in attendance, if the same level of tribute awaits someone like Fidel Castro. A man whom will most assuredly be greeted by Mandela once he reaches ‘his’ final destination. These are men of very similar character, who were not afraid to use whatever level of violence that was necessary to bring about their twisted vision of government.

Barry and Mee-Shell flew in on Air Force One early in the morning, together with former president George W. Bush and his wife Laura. Two other ex-presidents, ‘Slick Willie" Clinton and Jimmy "Dumber Than Shit" Carter arrived separately. Also included on the list of ‘world leaders’ apparently quite desperate to pay tribute to this scum was British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande. And that such men, whether out of fear of being called racist, or out of some attempt to elevate themselves in the eyes of others, could lower themselves to attend such a ‘memorial service’ as this, makes clear the sad state of the world today.

Mandela’s eldest daughter, Makaziwe Mandela, told the crowd how her father spent a "wonderful" week surrounded by family before he died. "The children were there, the grandchildren were there ... so we are always around him, even at the last moment," she said. But, I wonder, how many people, because of the actions of this sadistic mass-murderer, were robbed of ever being able to be surrounded by their families? But then I suppose that should be over-looked because, after all, what we’re supposed to believe was motivating Mandela was that blacks in South Africa were being oppressed. That’s to be seen as justifying all of the senseless violence and death brought about by this man.

I am curious about something, though. Am I the only one who finds it as being a bit ironic that the man who is supposed to be identified as being the leader of the free world, has what can only be described as being a rather sick fetish for wanting to hobnob with those leaders who seek only to keep their people oppressed and living in abject fear of their government? It seems that Barry has absolutely no qualms, whatsoever, when it comes to shaking hands with dictators of nearly every stripe, or in wanting to seen as paying tribute to those who are essentially nothing more than common mass murderers. Is this the type of behavior that we expect to see from our president?

MORE BRILLIANCE FROM ‘BAGHDAD JIM’…

As has pretty much been the case since day one of this fiasco, still referred to by most of us as Obamacare, the entire Democrat plan as been one where they have, unable to dazzle us with their brilliance, attempted to baffle us with what has been nothing more than a never-ending stream of pure bullshit. And that tactic has only intensified since the rather dismal rollout of this thing back on 1 Oct. And one of the more recent examples of this came from none other than ‘Baghdad Jim’ McDerrmott. But then I suppose we shouldn’t be all that surprised considering the fact that he does, after all, come from what is one of those bastions of loony liberalism.

Anyway, Old ‘Baghdad Jim’ McDermott recently said that when it comes to ObamaCare, "the problems aren’t over today. I can see lots of things down the road." No shit, really? Is this guy a genius or what? But I can’t help but wonder what it was that might have given him his first clue. Now I know Nancy "Too Much Botox" Pelosi told us all that we would have to pass it in order to find out what was in it, but maybe, just maybe, if just a little time had been spent actually reading it, at least on the part of the Democrats, we could have easily avoided a whole host of problems. Just sayin. But they couldn’t be bothered, they didn’t ‘want’ to know what was in it.

‘Baghdad Jim’ added to some of his other more recent, and just as idiotic, comments on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal program on Dec. 4th while ‘discussing’ the goal of signing up 7 Million people for insurance under Obamacare by the end of March. "Does it function though - the law itself -if you don’t reach that 7 million mark?" the host asked. Old Jimbo responded by saying, "If it doesn’t reach the 7 million mark, we’re going to have to have some talking with ourselves about how we finance it," McDermott replied. Gee, ya think? Now is that not the understatement of the new millennium? Hey, we can just print more money, right Jimbo?

"Because the insurance companies are counting on that also – and since the president made the decision to bring the insurance companies in and they wrote these policies with an eye to the fact that a certain number of people were going to come in - some healthy, some sick – and that’s how they set the premiums." Jimbo went on to say, "There are going to be in problems if we don’t get the 7 million. That’s why I say the problems aren’t over today. I can see lots of things down the road, but there’s no use talking about them now. What we've got to do right now is focus on making it work." And just how in the Hell are we gonna do that?

It was the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) that estimated the Obamacare system would need to enroll 7 Million people to remain "revenue neutral" and avoid putting more money into the system to compensate the insurance industry for financial losses. "Revenue neutral", don’t you just love that little phrase. And who among us actually thought that 7 Million people would be willing to climb aboard this little crazy train, even before the disastrous 1 Oct rollout of this liberal boondoggle? But now that people are finding out what it’s going to be costing them, that’s even less likely to happen. What a mess! And it’s gonna get worse before it gets better.

OBAMA AND RANGEL…A LITTLE TROUBLE IN DA HOOD???

I guess there’s a little trouble brewing down in Da Hood. I was completely unaware of the fact that Barry "Almighty" was in the midst of some sort of feud with Charlie Rangel. Apparently it all stems from the fact that Barry reportedly described Rangel as being a "hack" in a best-selling book about the 2012 election. Frankly, what I find as being more than just a little ironic is the fact that Barry could feel justified in accusing anyone of being a hack, especially shen it’s so obvious that that’s really all that he is. Let’s face it, who better defines what a political hack is better than Barry?

But apparently there’s a bit more to it because, according to the New York Post, the truth is that the two have never liked each other. Rangel has been one of Barry’s strongest Democrat critics. He slammed Barry for his stance on Syria, IRS reviews of conservative organizations and the rollout of Obamacare. "It’s screwed up," he said, describing the botched execution of the healthcare law. Also according to the Post, the problems date back to at least 2008, when Rangel supported Hitlery Clinton in the Democrat primary. And as we know, Barry can most certainly hold a grudge.

"There’s a cultural difference. There was always a pecking order of who [Rangel] perceived as being part of the struggle during the civil-rights movement," Vincent Morgan, a Rangel aide from 2001 to 2004, told the Post. "The younger people were constantly reminded that they were the beneficiaries. Every conversation with him was a one-sided conversation. It was like, ‘That’s a good idea, but you haven’t been in the game long enough.’ " Sadly, it’s black Democrats like Rangel who are constantly out in front telling blacks that nothing has really changed for them since the early 60s.

Rangel, who has practically made a career out of sucking up to the Clintons, repeatedly dismissed Barry throughout his rise to the White House. "It’s a little more style than it is politics," another Rangel confidant told the Post anonymously. "There are members of Congress who backed Hillary who Obama now has a decent relationship with. The thing with Charlie — a lot of it is style. There’s nobody more old-school than Charlie. And Obama is not." Somehow old-school isn’t how I would choose to describe Rangel. Unless, of course, by old-school one means to be more openly racist in nature.

An when Rangel faced censure for paying below-market rates on four Harlem apartments and failing to pay taxes on his Dominican Republic cottage, Barry was unusually harsh in his criticism of his fellow Democrat. "He’s somebody who’s at the end of his career,’’ Barry told CBS News in July 2010. "I’m sure that what he wants is to be able to end his career with dignity, and my hope is that it happens.’’ Their animus blew up again when Barry tried to bar Rangel from a Harlem event in March 2011. As they say, there’s no honor among thieves, and that’s really all these two scumbags are.

Look, as far as I’m concerned both of these guys should be behind bars in the nearest federal prison. But since both are Democrats, and black to boot, the likelihood of that happening is slim and none, and slim just left town. One is no better or worse than the other. They’re liars who seek to take advantage of people for no other reason than to increase their own personal stature, especially in the black community. But it’s because of them, and people like them, that in many respects members of the black community have been unable to progress any further than to be firmly addicted to the federal government.

OBAMACARE: THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE…

Democrats remain quite convinced that they will actually be able to run on, as they campaign for the midterm elections, this thing which they were once so eager to refer to as "Obamacare".  But oddly enough, these days one very rarely hears any Democrat refer to the "Affordable Care Act" by using what used to be their favorite moniker. I guess they figure we’re just all too stupid to realize what it is that they’re talking about.

But call it what they will, Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act, what it is doing is to ruin the lives of literally millions of Americans. And don’t let them fool you, the Democrats were very well aware, back in 2010, that what is now talking place, with millions of Americans losing their insurance, was in fact going to take place. Because they ALL voted to make sure that it would. It was an actual requirement.

So now as the coming election looms just around the corner, politically speaking, the Democrats have been quite determined in their efforts to convince the American people that once we get past what’s been described as being it’s rather rocky rollout, they will begin to see all of the advantages that the law provides. And with that they will be primed to vote for Democrats to ensure that it remains in place and fully operational.

Now call me cynical, but I really do have a difficult time understanding why it is that a family who has just seen the cost of their healthcare coverage go through the roof, is going to be a big hurry to vote for those who not only dreamt it up, but then crafted into a 2000+ page piece of legislation, and then, in using some pretty sleazy tactics, passed it into law. But, maybe I’m wrong and Americans will do as the Democrats predict.

Lastly, Democrats, as well as their many minions in the state-controlled media, have been very fond of saying how it is that the Republicans are vested in the failure of Obamacare for no other reason than they’re somehow against the uninsured having healthcare coverage. Democrats also like to present as fact that the Republicans have no plan of their own. As is usually the case when dealing with Democrats, these are nothing but more lies. So do your own research, the truth is out there. Become informed.

OUR FREEDOM IS HANGING BY A THREAD…

Ronald Reagan did his best to warn us, and his words are just as true and just as relevant today as they were 50 years ago. But over time it would seem that we have forgotten the warning that was issued to us, if not forgotten, at least allowed it to seem not quite so important. And in choosing to not heed these words and to, instead, chose to fall for Barry’s rhetoric that consists of nothing more than vague generalities and false promises, we virtually guarantee the outcome that we were warned against. We ‘must’ stand guard against those who seem so determined to take from us that which rightfully belongs to us and comes to us not from man, but from God. We must protect the freedoms that were passed down to us for safekeeping. Freedoms that once they are lost, will be lost forever.

OBAMA ON A MISSION TO DESTROY AMERICA...

When Barry was running for president back in 2008 he made it very plain what his intended goal was if we were to elect him as or president. As he went around the countryside over and over again we heard how it was that America needed to ‘improved’, restored to her greatness, to be made into the country that we all knew she could be. What he called for was a "fundamental transformation".  Well, as you know we chose to elect him as our president. Not only that, we even chose to re-elect him even though there was a mountain of evidence that told us that if we chose to do just that, we were doing so at out own peril. But we chose to ignore it all.

After just four years of his being in office America had already become barely recognizable. And now, just 5 short years after having first elected him, he has added $7 Trillion to our existing debt, bring our total debt to 17 Trillion, money that we could never even hope to be able to pay back, 11 Million Americans are no longer working, we now have nearly 49 Million people on food stamps and 100 Million on some form of government assistance and the number of people now on disability exceed the population of the nation of Greece. And he, along with his fellow Democrats want to spend even more money, refusing to even discuss any spending cuts.

There are many who say that Barry is stupid, or he is incompetent, or any number of other things. But he has remained true to his goal, which has been all along and remains today, of "fundamentally transforming" America. Now, whether it’s out of not fully understanding, or of being to recognize what it is the underway here, the American people seem perfect content to sit idly by while their country is, quite literally, being destroyed right under their noses. Or, and this would be truly frightening, a majority of Americans agree with Barry "Almighty", that yes, after 200+ years, America is in need of a make over, a "fundamental transformation". On that I hope I am wrong.
