Ya know, it just never ceases to amaze me that this brain dead piece of human excrement continues to be able to scrape up enough folks, especially, in the state of Texas who are actually willing to reelect her as their representative in Congress. I would think the fact that every single time she opens that huge pie hole of hers and proves she's one of the biggest morons on the entire planet, would tend to make folks a little apprehensive and to start looking for someone else to vote for. But, apparently her constituents are no brighter than she is. Still, the whole thing leaves me scratching my head.
Now I think most of us are able to easily recognize the fact that Ms. Jackson Lee is more than just a bit racist. But you know, it's even worse than that. She also happens to be another one of those who can, so casually and quite purposefully, lie to those, with some degree of conviction, who actually look up to her. She continues to do little more than to offer up lip service while at the same time throwing members of the black community under the bus, and for what. For a chance to perhaps play a prominent role in the Democrat Party? She uses her fellow blacks, and it's a shame.
The most recent demonstration that makes obvious her severe lack of any real intelligence came during her effort to push for more gun control legislation on the House floor. That's when we heard the brilliant Sheila Jackson Lee say, "Don’t condemn the gangbangers, they’ve got guns that are trafficked." Yup, Jackson Lee took the House floor on April 9 to argue in favor of increased gun control legislation, "Don’t condemn the gangbangers, they’ve got guns that are trafficked -- that are not enforced, that are straw purchased and they come into places even that have strong gun laws."
"Why? Because we don’t have sensible gun legislation." Jackson Lee continued her ranting by claiming that current gun laws need to be enforced, "I’m going to agree with my friends on the other side of the isle. Our Republican friends, let’s enforce the gun laws that we have - - who would run away from that. That’s a sensible proposition. Put a resolution on the floor of the House - - let’s enforce gun laws that we have." Why is a resolution needed? Simply ask Barry why enforcement of those laws already on the books is down 40 percent under his tenure. Go ahead, ask him!
Now I'm told that the Senate is expected to vote this week on the piece of gun legislation that was concocted by Sens. Pat Toomey, alias Arlen Specter II, supposedly a Republican and Joe Manchin supposedly a moderate Democrat. I would argue that neither of these guys is what they profess themselves to be, politically speaking. This bill that they came up with would expand background checks to private sales between individuals at gun shows and over the Internet. It would do nothing more than to make it that much easier for Barry to track down who it is that owns a gun.
So, I'm getting more than just a little concerned here about whether or not, between the flaming lunatics like Jackson Lee and unscrupulous characters like Toomey and Manchin, those working toward gutting the Second Amendment will ultimately be able to meet with some level of success in their little endeavor. It seems to me, that we have fewer and fewer folks in Congress who are willing to take the firm stand that protecting the Second Amendment demands of them. These days what the Constitution very clearly states, seems to have become of secondary concern to a growing number of people, supposedly sworn to support and defend it, who now seem to possess some rather sinister, ulterior motives.
