The first words heard from the senior senator from Massachusetts, Elizabeth ' Ding Bat' Warren at a Tuesday morning press conference in Boston were praise for her fellow Democrat, Barry "Almighty." "The President of the United States has pledged his full support in all efforts to keep the city safe and to find the person who did this and bring them to justice. We did not have to reach out to the president. The president reached out to us," Warren said at the news conference updating the investigation into the terror attack at the Boston Marathon. "He called the governor, he called the mayor, he called the members of the (congressional) delegation, because the president is actively involved here and responding." By golly he sure is! So involved, in fact, that at first he couldn't quite bring himself to call this an act of terrorism. Then I guess somebody probably pointed out to him that there might be a way to tie this to the pro-gun folks and the NRA.
Anyway, "Dizzy Lizzy" Warren, speaking on behalf of that rather bizarre little brain trust comically referred to as the Massachusetts congressional delegation, thanked al of the first responders and volunteers who saved lives after two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday afternoon. Three people thus far have died, including an 8-year-old boy, and more than 170 were injured, some gravely. Warren joined other Massachusetts officials in saying that "Boston will survive." While this was in fact a horrible tragedy, I think it's important to keep it in the proper perspective, this is what happens when your enemies no longer fear you. This is why we were attempting to take the battle to them, so that we would not end up fighting them here on the streets at home. So that we could go to such events as this marathon and not have to worry about ourselves or loved ones being blown up. But Barry had a better idea.
Barry "Almighty" did manage to speak, however briefly, about the explosions in Boston on Monday evening, but he couldn't seem to bring himself to call them an act of terrorism at that time. "We still do not know who did this or why. And people shouldn’t jump to conclusions before we have all the facts. But make no mistake -- we will get to the bottom of this. And we will find out who did this; we'll find out why they did this. Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups will feel the full weight of justice," Barry said. Speaking on MSNBC, Barry's former adviser David "My Mommie Was A Commie" Axelrod explained that Barry didn't immediately call the attack terrorism because "it was tax day." Right! "I'm sure what was going through the president's mind is, we really don't know who did this -- it was tax day," Axelrod said. Dave doesn’t really expect us to believe that line of crap, does he?
And in speaking of our 'Dear Beloved Leader', has anyone bothered to take notice of the fact that since he's been in charge, there have been more terrorist attacks inside this country than took place during the eight years of Bush? And this guy, Barry, has the nerve to come out and try to act all presidential and shit, and you can tell that he's just going through the motions, trying to say what he thinks the president should say. Barry has ceased being interested in fighting these murdering religious fanatics on their home turf, apparently, for whatever reason, being of the opinion that it's better for us to fight them here on our turf. And I'm also kinda beginning to wonder just how long it might take him to get around to claiming that if only we had stricter gun laws there's a very real chance that maybe this horrible tragedy would never have happened. We've already witnessed the fact that there is absolutely nothing he will not do or say in an effort to get his way.
And we have many in the state-controlled media who have essentially been working overtime in their effort to make some sort of connection between those who remain opposed to stricter gun laws and who it was that could have perpetrated this deadly attack in Boston. They've even gone so far as to say that because the last mile of the marathon was dedicated to the Sandy Hook Elementary victims and that many family members were in attendance there at the finish line this attack could very well have been some sort of revenge thing. They are just so sure that this attack was carried out but some gun toting, right wing Bible thumper. Just listen to them, they've never been more sure of anything in their life. And when it's determined that some murdering raghead committed this crime, these media geniuses will either cease talking about the incident altogether, or they'll be making all manner excuses regarding what it was that could have driven him to do it.
