Despite the never ending stream of propaganda, as
well as the outright incendiary rhetoric, that we continue to hear from any
number of Democrats and faux journalists/activists such as George ‘Jorge’ Ramos,
claiming illegal immigration is not a problem, a recent survey would seem to
indicate that a majority of Americans do actually think that illegal immigration
is a “very serious” problem. And not
only that, but it would also seem indicate that there are a great many of
Americans who would support measures to deport illegal immigrants currently
living within the country.
It was this most recent survey that also found that:
1) Half of Americans would report an employer they suspected of hiring illegal
immigrants to the government, 2) Nearly half of Americans would support the
government “actively searching for illegal immigrants who have not committed
any other crimes to deport them from the United States,” and 3) 39% of
respondents would report their neighbors for being illegal immigrants. Now if you listen to no one other than
Democrats and those in our state-controlled media you would have no idea that
most Americans feel this way.
Those taking part in this specific survey were
asked, “How serious a problem is ILLEGAL immigration in the US?” As it turned out, 51% of respondents replied that
it is “very serious,” while 26% responded illegal immigration is “somewhat
serious,” and 15% described illegal immigration as only a “minor problem.” In total, 77% of respondents believe illegal
immigration is either a “very serious” or “somewhat serious” problem. Including
the 15% who responded illegal immigration is a “minor problem,” 92% of
Americans view illegal immigration as a problem.
Individuals were also asked about certain measures
they would support in order to remove illegal immigrants currently in the country. And 55% claimed they would support “creating
a phone number where people could report activity connected to illegal immigration
to the government.” And it turns out
that 26% would “definitely” and 24% would “probably” report an employer who was
suspected of illegally employing illegal immigrants to the government. Meanwhile 13% said they would “definitely
not”, 19% stated they would “probably not,” and 18% were unsure.
And it was just a little less than half, or 48%, of
respondents who replied that they would either “strongly support” (23%) or
“somewhat support” (25%) the government “actively searching for illegal
immigrants who have not committed any other crimes to deport them from the United
States.” Of the individuals polled, 38%
opposed such a policy of actively searching for illegal immigrants in order to
deport them, with 21% responding they would “strongly oppose” the measure and
17% replying they would “somewhat oppose” it.
Those are mostly likely our ‘friends’ on the left.
But when it comes to reporting their neighbors,
there Americans are a bit more divided. Those taking part in the poll were
asked, “If you suspected that illegal immigrants were living in a house in your
neighborhood, would you report this to the government?” While 17% responded they would “definitely
not” and 24% responded they would “probably not” report their suspected illegal
immigrant neighbors to the government, 39% of respondents would “definitely”
(19%) or “probably” (20%) report their neighbors to the government if they were
suspected of being illegal immigrants.
In this survey, 52% claimed to support a pathway to
citizenship, as defined as “a way for illegal immigrants currently in the
country to gain legal citizenship if they pass background checks, pay fines,
and have jobs.” And regarding
deportation, the survey asked, “There are just over 11 million illegal
immigrants in the United States” and then asked, “Do you think it is possible
for immigration agents to find and deport most of these people?” In response, 61% of those polled said it is
either “definitely not” or “probably not” possible to find and deport “most of
these people.”
Which, I guess, brings me to what was an angry
little speech given by presidential non-candidate ‘Slow Joe Biden’ at a
Hispanic Heritage Month event in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. It was during this speech that he referred to
the language being used by Donald Trump as “sick”. But this is language that makes a lot of
sense to a lot of people. And what is
truly sick is the mentality of those like ‘Slow Joe’ who seem to go out of
their way, and in what is very plainly an attempt to gain votes, to justify the
ignoring of federal law regarding illegal immigration.
Scumbags like ‘Slow Joe’ spend a lot of time
casually glossing over, or leaving out of the conversation entirely, the number
of violent crimes being committed by those who are in this country
illegally. These illegal immigrants have
no problem whatsoever compounding the fact that they are already breaking our
laws, simply because they’re in our country, by choosing to commit some of the
most heinous crimes imaginable. Yet
those on left, ones like ‘Slow Joe’, are only too happy to not talk about any
of that. Because, you see, that wouldn’t be politically correct.
