SPEAKING AS SOMEONE WHO LONGS FOR A RETURN TO THE “GOOD OLD DAYS”…

And so it was in delivering yet another ‘commencement’ address, this one at Rutgers University, that Barry “Almighty” spewed much the same idiotic drivel that he did just eight days before when then delivering the commencement address at the predominantly black college, Howard University.  Barry told the graduates there at Rutgers that “the good old days weren’t that good” and that both America and the world are better today than they were “even eight years ago.”  So you have to ask yourself, is Barry living in some alternate universe, or does he possess some sinister motive for making his rather bizarre claims.

Just to give you an idea of how completely delusional, or blatantly dishonest, our current president truly is, it was during his ‘address’ that Barry said, “When you hear someone longing for the good old days, take it with a grain of salt, take it with a grain of salt.” And he went on to say, “In fact, by almost every measure, America is better and the world is better than it was 50 years ago or 30 years ago or even eight years ago.”  Why is it that he would say something that can be so easily disproven by doing little more than to simply watch that which is put out on a nightly basis by the state-controlled news media?  Even they can’t lie about everything.

Barry told the roughly 12,000 graduating students assembled that the pace of change on the planet is accelerating, not subsiding, and that recent history had proved that the toughest challenges cannot be solved in isolation.  Barry said, “A wall won’t stop that,” bringing to mind Trump’s call for building a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico. And he added, “The point is, to help ourselves, we’ve got to help others – not pull up the drawbridge and try to keep the world out.”  Barry never chose to mention Trump by name, but the intended target of his idiotic rhetoric would have been pretty clear to anyone who has been paying attention this campaign season.

In referring to the man with no name, Barry referred to disparaging comments about Muslims and immigrants, and opposition to free trade deals. But he appeared most incensed by what he described as a rejection of facts, science and intellectualism that he said was pervading politics.  Barry said, “In politics and in life, ignorance is not a virtue.”  And he added, “It’s not cool to not know what you’re talking about. That’s not keeping it real or telling it like it is. That’s not challenging political correctness. That’s just not knowing what you’re talking about.”  Barry warned that the rejection of facts and science would ultimately lead the U.S. on a path of decline.

Barry said, “We live in a great nation and we are rightly proud of our history.  We are beneficiaries of the labor and the grit and the courage of generations that came before us. But I guess it is part of human nature, especially in times of change and uncertainty, to want to look backwards and long for some imaginary past when everything worked, and the economy hummed, and all politicians were wise, and every child was well-mannered, and America pretty much did whatever it wanted around the world.  Guess what? It ain’t so. The good old days weren’t all that good.” Well, they were a damn sight better than today!

He went on to say, “Yes, there have been some stretches in our history where the economy grew much faster. Or when government ran more smoothly. There were moments when—immediately after World War II, for example, or at the end of the Cold War—when the world bent more easily to our will.”  And then added, “But those are sporadic—those moments, those episodes. In fact, by almost every measure, America is better and the world is better than it was 50 years ago or 30 years ago or even eight years ago.”  And I’ll tell ya what, that Barry would say such a thing, really didn’t surprise me.  Not much he says anymore comes as much of a surprise.

I mean, hey Barry, no such thing as Good Old Days?  He must mean when the US was the world's leader in manufacturing?  Or does he mean when we were not umpteen TRILLION dollars in debt?  Well then he must mean when people were ashamed to be on government assistance and worked their tails off to get back on their own two feet before other people knew?  No? Then does he mean when a significant majority of kids could read, write and knew math? Or when having a child out of wed lock was frowned upon, and not rewarded?!  When there was actually some level of shame in society, something that is sorely lacking today.

Personally, I do remember the good old days, and would welcome them back. Americans manufactured all that we used and were the world’s biggest exporter of manufactured goods: textiles, steel, clothing, chemicals, coal, cars, you name it and Americans had good paying jobs manufacturing them.  Now the only two things we manufacture are fast food burgers and weapons for war.  Everything else is imported, shipping containers come here loaded but never load up and go out.  You must have goods to go into them to ship them out and today we have none period.  All thanks to the left in this country.

And on the subject of building a wall. Do you lock your doors in your home? I do.  Will that prevent someone from breaking into my home? Nope.  Locking my doors will make it more difficult for the burglars, but it won't stop all of them.  Therefore I have a second line of defense beyond locked doors, it is called a Smith & Wesson 9mm. If I call the police and they don't arrive in time to save me, my 9mm is always ready to protect my family.  The border wall is the same thing, it is the first line defense to stop the illegals, our second line of defense is the border agents who will arrest the illegals and return them to Mexico.

Our borders are wide open, terrorists can stroll across at will. The Barry/Hitlery cult actually encourages illegal entry and funds distributing terrorists throughout all 50 states.  The federal government's primary role is supposed to be national security. If they refuse to provide this security, if they actually condone and participate in terrorist attacks on U.S. citizens, why do we have this abject disgrace that we call "federal government?"   Democrats don't want a wall and they won't let the border agents do their jobs.  So feel free to vote for Hitlery if you want the United States to become Mexico.

And when this country only grows at 2% of GPD annually; it actually loses money and jobs. Since Barry became president, our annual growth has only been at 2% growth. Our debt has doubled during his presidency; and our economy is on the brink of a disaster that few can see coming.  If we don't cut our debt, we are cutting our own throats. The next generation will most likely be called, "the poverty generation without any laws or borders."  It’s amazing how stupid and blind people have become in thinking Washington is looking out for you. Washington is looking out only for themselves.

And it’s all thanks to the policies that have been put into place by Barry that we now have the highest number of Americans on food stamps on record!  And it’s also thanks to Barry that we have the highest numbers per capita of people in poverty, the highest number of children in poverty, and children dealing with hunger and malnutrition issues since the Great Depression. Violent crime is also rapidly surging around the nation and police morale around the country is at record low levels since record keeping began. Yet Barry still thinks that this country has improved under his presidency. Is he serious?

And add to everything else the abysmal morale and the purposeful destruction of our military, the perversions that have been quite literally forced upon this country, our descent into third world status, the government funded slaughter of the unborn, continued erosion of the education of our young, massive corruption in all levels of government, an administration that thinks it's ok to weaponize federal agencies against conservative groups, and the list goes on.  To Barry it’s all Good, to an honest and reasonable American, it’s all Bad.  So much better off than we were just eight years ago?  No, I think NOT!

But as we all know Barry loves to talk but not listen, he likes to challenge but does not like to be challenged. In his mind if he says it, then it must be true. Did he mention his globalization agenda? Did he mention the debt that these new graduates will be saddled with because of himself as well as other politicians who insist upon side stepping real life issues, aka kicking the can down the road. Barry, most certainly, is not the first failure to ever hold the office but he badly blew his chance to help the American people.  Never has someone come into the office holding so much promise, only to so badly squander it, and in record time.
