So here we are once again, with us again likely on the verge of ending up with yet another RINO as Speaker of the House, making useless our slim majority in the House. You see, it was RINO Steve Scalise who recently won the nomination for Speaker on the Republican side in a closed-door meeting on Wednesday, receiving 113 votes, while Jim Jordan, who was endorsed by President Trump, received 99 votes. So once again we are witness to the Republicans’ resistance to serious change. Scalise’s total was inflated by non-voting delegates who are not permitted to vote on the House floor. He received only 110 of 221 eligible Republican votes, or less than half.
While I’m sure most folks are somewhat sympathetic
regarding what it was that Scalise was forced to go through when a rabid
Democrat terrorist decided to attack a congressional baseball practice back in 2017,
he clearly is not the right guy for the job at this particular time. Jordan was
clearly the better choice, but also is not perfect. Scalise is a uniparty
sellout and those who supported him were well aware of that fact. Sadly, a
majority of the Republicans are uniparty sell outs and would prefer things to
remain unchanged. And so, as Boehner mentored Ryan and Ryan mentored McCarthy,
McCarthy also mentored Scalise, so the RINO bloodline remains intact.
After McCarthy was removed, many of us out here beyond
the beltway thought that finally we might finally have a voice. We wanted Jim
Jordan. But do you think the Establishment types listened to us? No, of course,
they didn’t. Instead, they chose to listen to the lobbyist and big money donors,
so nothing will change. But too bad for them President Trump now owns the party
because he’s the only one who actually listens to the base and so it becomes up
us to stop electing those politicians who refuse to listen. If Scalise is all
that he claims to be, then he stand down, endorse Jordan and be done with it.
Then we can get on with business. But he won’t!!!
Scalise is just another uniparty squish. What
exactly is his plan regarding important things like getting the wall built and
illegal immigration? How will he be any different from McCarthy? He should make
his case publicly to Republican voters. Sure, let the House decide, but it’s just
all so secretive. It would seem to me that the new guy is not all that much different
from the old guy. And here the rest of us sit, up to our neck in shit that only
seems to be getting deeper. Republicans had better get the message that their
voters do not want people who believe their primary mission in life is the
bringing home of large-scale pork to their donors and constituents.
Our country continues to be under assault by
hostile, freedom-hating, big-spending Marxists and globalists. The primary mission
should be one that has as its goal the defeat of these people and to finally get
our country back on track. And like that old adage says, it’s time for many of
these people to simply “lead, follow or get out of the fucking way,” (I added
the fucking). The definition of insanity is voting for the same people over and
over again and expecting to get a different result. No one is excited about
Scalise. And while Republicans in Congress fight with each other, like little
babies, Democrats giggle as they continue to work at destroying the country.
Exactly where has Scalise differed from McCarthy?
Killing the King and installing the favorite son seems to be a bit ignorant as
well as rather counter-productive. Scalise is no better than McCarthy. He's not
running for speaker to help America, he’s running to ease the worries of his
donors that want the war in Ukraine to continue and to keep the border wide
open. A vote for Scalise is literally a vote for the status quo. And while the
Democrats want to go over the cliff at 100 mph, Republicans, like Scalise, want
to go over the cliff at a more ‘conservative’ 80 mph. We need to turn the car
around and with Scalise behind the wheel that just ain’t gonna happen.
Republicans have the House majority and yet haven’t
impeached Biden, Harris, Mayorkas, Garland, Blinken or Buttigieg. They only put
on a show and keep wasting OUR money. And for all their bluster, they’ve defunded
neither the IRS nor the FBI. But, they did pass The Defense of Gay Marriage Act
and funded 87,000 IRS agents to come after us while sending more under-the-table
money to Ukraine to launder while not funding to protect OUR borders. Today’s Establishment
GOP is a finely tuned machine of subversion and deception that runs on the hope
of gullible supporters, big money and misplaced trust of people it cares
nothing about.
As we all know, the
Republican establishment always wants to avoid any confrontation with the
Democrats, that would trigger attacks by the goons in the ‘fake news’ media. Republicans
hate being criticized publicly and will do everything in an effort to avoid it,
even cave to the Democrats. Their mission is to keep their big money donors
happy, and in so doing enrich themselves. Serving the public is a low priority
for them. When I see the establishment getting behind Scalise, that tells me the
establishment thinks he is more in line with their goals, or at least, is far more
likely to be controllable by them. What they would consider to be an
establishment team player.
