Anyone familiar with Joe Manchin, U.S. Senator from West Virginia, is also, most likely, familiar with how it is that Manchin takes great pleasure in portraying himself as being some sort of a moderate. And those familiar with this guy are also likely well aware that such claims made by Manchin are nothing more than a charade. A charade that Manchin has worked to maintain ever since first being elected to the Senate and in an attempt to keep the folks back home fooled into believing that his values, were their values. But over time Manchin has shown those folks that he is not like them, is not of them, as he has shown repeatedly just how much he hates this country.
And it was yet another one of those occasions that
took place just this past Friday, when Manchin made an appearance on CNN’s
“News Central.” It was then that he said it was “sickening” how President Trump
is “throwing cold water” on lawmakers border security deal. A deal that, while
it has repeatedly been described as being bipartisan, is really anything but,
because it seems to be supported primarily by Democrats and RINOs, which isn’t
exactly the definition of bipartisanship. But then, that’s how things are
supposed to work, Democrats get together with a few RINOs, and those in the
media pretty much takeover, doing everything they can to advance bogus
legislation.
And apparently what seemed to put the bee under
Manchin’s bonnet is the fact that President Trump took to Truth Social voicing
his displeasure regarding this piece of legislation. He posted, “I do not think
we should do a Border Deal, at all, unless we get EVERYTHING needed to shut
down the INVASION… Also, I have no doubt that our wonderful Speaker of the
House, Mike Johnson, will only make a deal that is PERFECT ON THE BORDER.” Manchin
said, “I have never been more concerned about my country than I am today. I see
what’s going on which way we are heading, and it gets more toxic every day.
Look at what is happening now with this border decision."
Manchin went on to say, “The Democrats and
Republicans in the Senate have worked very diligently and very hard and having
an agreement very close to being finished.” He continued, “Now, all of a
sudden, people are throwing cold water on it because of politics. This is what
is sickening. It is the most dangerous thing we have, the border security right
now and a lapse of border security. So we can fix that. But when you have
former President Trump saying we can’t do that because let’s go ahead and blame
the Democrats.” Manchin added, “Not to fix it because of politics. It is not
who we are as a country. It is not what our purpose in Washington is all about."
Manchin ended his rant saying, “People are sick of
that.” Actually, if we’re being honest here, what people are sick of is being
lied to by phonies like Manchin. Their supposed bipartisan border ‘deal’ was another
deal good for everyone but the American people. They were still going to allow
1.8 Million uninvited criminals to illegally come into this country every
single year. These people have already allowed 11,000,000+ MILLION illegals into
this country just since Joey cheated his way into the White House. And now Manchin
wants to blame President Trump for quashing another bad border deal. Manchin has
been unconcerned about the border for years.
Everything the Democrats, including this phony
moderate, do is politically motivated. Meanwhile President Trump is trying to
save this country’s sovereignty, and is not interested in some phony deal that does
nothing more than to further the Democrats’ agenda of flooding the country with
millions of illegal immigrants. This so-called “agreement” allows illegals to
invade our country and gives billions to Democrat cities, cities that have
declared themselves sanctuaries, to feed and house illegals while Americans are
forced to pick up the tab. Congress has sat on its hands for three years and
allowed this invasion and now they want to blame everything on Trump.
The border was the best that it ever been under
President Trump. And Manchin was one of those who simply stood by and watched
as Joey ended all of President Trump’s policies. Manchin, as always, is a
dishonest, slimy, little parasite. His lies are no longer relevant. The bill
will not pass and Manchin, after November, will fade into absolute obscurity. I
can’t believe that anyone ever trusted this asshole! The bonus is that Ukraine
won’t be getting any more money! All this dishonest bill would have done nothing
more than to legitimize the current numbers and provide billions of taxpayer
cash to support them. All while Americans can’t afford to feed and house
themselves!
Finally, if it looks like a
turd and smells like a turd, it’s probably a turd. And if this piece of legislation
is so wonderful, Joe should be pushing for its publication and the allowing of plenty
of time for members of Congress to read all of the fine print, and allow for
public comment. Too many deals have been made and pushed through in the dead of
night with no time to read or comprehend the entirety of the language. We,
meaning the citizens, always seem to take it in the shorts when that happens.
Manchin knows it. President Trump is right, but he’s hardly the only that sees,
and hears, that same train hurtling down that very same track once again.
