Just so we’re clear, there ain’t no way in Hell that I am going to be bullied, or in any way coerced, into buying some damn wuss-mobile of an electric car. And if Pete ‘Butt Boy’ Buttigieg thinks that that’s gonna work then I’m afraid he’s going to be sorely disappointed. These people have now officially gone completely around the bend with all of the ‘climate change’ baloney. It’s time for the pendulum to start heading back. They have convinced themselves that they are so much smarter than the rest of us while it’s at the same time it’s everything that they do, and nearly everything that they say, that proves that they are nothing more than a bunch of imbeciles.
But that’s the thing with Democrats, if you choose
not to go along with any of there cockamamie schemes then there is clearly
something wrong with you. But it’s just the opposite that always, and I do mean
every damn time, turns out to be the case. Which brings me to some recent
comments made by Buttigieg. They came just this past Tuesday when Buttigieg
appeared on Fox News Channel’s “America Reports.” You see it was then that this
genius claimed that those people who do not want electric cars were like those
who wanted “landline phones forever.” So he thinks that we now need to be insulted
into agreeing to buy one of these contraptions?
Buttigieg said, “Let’s be clear consumers have
wanted and purchased more EVs every single year than the year before. Tesla is
facing more competition as GM and Ford and Stellantis and other competitive
players make sure they get a piece of the EV market. Let’s be clear, the
automotive sector is moving toward EVs and we can’t pretend otherwise.
Sometimes, when these debates happen, I feel like it’s the early 2000s and I’m
talking to some people who think that we can just have landline phones
forever.” He added, “The reality is the automotive sector is moving towards EVs
and the U.S. can fall behind to China or we can claim the lead."
He said, “President Biden wants to make sure those
EVs are made in America especially again as more Americans choose EVs every
single year then the year before. We have to make sure those are made on
American soil in places like northern Indiana where I grew up, places like
Michigan where I live right now. During the Trump administration China was
really able to build an advantage in the EV market and Obviously not because
they’re big environmentalists over in China, just because that’s the
economically smart play. We’ve been working to make sure that advantage comes
back on American soil.” What a bunch of political malarky.
This is little more than a backhand insult to
Americans. Buttigieg might as well have said people who don’t buy these battery
powered cars are stupid. So I’m no fan of these EVs and I DO want landlines
forever, in addition to my cell phone service. There are times when only my
landline is working. What these boobs on the Left fail to understand is that
people will buy things that make sense, and not because they’re told they must
for some concocted BS reason. If EV's were such a shit hot idea the market
would respond organically, and not because the government mandates their use.
But, Marxists will do, what Marxists will do. They’re the epitome of tyrants.
These EV’s are an alternative, not a replacement. The
government didn’t have to force me to buy a cell phone. I bought one because it
works for me, and I like it better. EVs are just the opposite. They are not a
good fit for me so I don’t want one, but Buttigieg and his ilk wants to force
me to buy one, anyway. The market should decide if new tech is desired, not any
of these government stooges. The convoluted logic of these Liberal Democrats
defies the imagination and all sense of propriety in a sane world. Their
comparisons are straight out of a dysfunctional mind. They’ve convinced
themselves that their way is the best way and we need to do as we’re told.
Buttigieg thinks we’re all too stupid to know that the
only reason these people want us all to buy these EVs is because they see it as
another way to control us. They will know where you are, control your mobility,
restrict your consumption and overall use the grid as a form of control. There
is absolutely no eco-benefit for electric cars that essentially run on coal. It’s
about control, it’s not, nor has it ever been, about the environment. And they continue
to push these things while doing absolutely nothing to expand our electrical
infrastructure. All while doing nothing to shield our electrical infrastructure
from electromagnetic pulses, solar flares, or terrorist attacks.
And, of course, it is completely coincidental that
electric cars provide limited freedom of movement for their purchasers outside
of a very limited range. And of course, they all have kill switches and are all
imminently hackable. But hey, don't believe you’re lying eyes. Instead, trust
your demonstrably corrupt government. I don’t think anyone actually opposes
electric cars as an alternative. I do think that most don’t like being forced into
accepting them as a replacement. People bought cell phones because they wanted
the product, no governmental arm-twisting was required. If cell phones were as expensive
as EVs are we’d still be using land lines.
Stupidity like this is exactly why Democrats need to
be taken to the woodshed, I don't recall anyone being forced into a cellphone,
they became popular because it was a technology that worked and the consumer
wanted it. EVs may become a technology that works and consumers may then want
it. If that happens, you won’t need some idiot bureaucrat forcing you into it.
Buttigieg is the perfect example of what’s wrong with Democrats. All they ever
want to do is to "force" you to do what they want because they are so
much smarter than you. “It's for your own good,” “it's for your own safety,” “I’m
from the government, and I’m here to help you.” Yeah, right!!!
Buttigieg’s comparison is idiotic, just like the
horse and buggy comparison. Prior large-scale changes such as this were to be something
that offered improved functionality, improved convenience, they were something
that a normal decision-making process from the individual perspective would
cause people to naturally switch. The EV represents a massive degradation of
service functionality, convenience, and cost, no rational person would make the
switch without a confused understanding of the Earth’s climate and an insane
view that making the change would somehow change the earth's climate and save
mankind.
And finally, where does most
lithium come from?? Communist China, and is it perhaps the dirtiest form of
mining on an environmental level. Get stuck on a highway for hours in cold
weather, what happens? Take an extended trip somewhere and EV users pretty much
have to have the route planned out to make sure every 300 miles there’s a
charging station. On the other hand, I, in my Jeep, can just pull off at any of
dozens gas stations/mini marts for a ten-minute fill up and a soda and a bag of
chips. For maintenance on my Jeep I can take it anywhere I choose. Can EV users
go to Goodyear for new tires or NAPA for a battery replacement? I’m thinking not!
