I'm sure we all remember the amount of flack the Newt Gingrich got for referring to Barry "Almighty" as "the food tamp president." Well funny thing about that. Well actually it not so funny, in fact it's not really funny at all, because you see the numbers show that Barry is exactly that. Because during his first term, the amount of participants on food stamps, formally known as the Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP), increased approximately 11,130 persons per day. Yes, I said, PER DAY! During Barry’s first full month in office in February 2009, the number of SNAP participants was
32,287,089. That same figure has since jumped to
47,525,329 as of October 2012, the latest month that data are available. So, is Barry not the food stamp president? Because the numbers don't lie, folks!
This means that, on average, approximately 11,130 more individuals per day between February 2009 and October 2012
went on food stamps. Think about that for a second, that's an incredible number of people. It was reported earlier this month that the federal government spent a record $80.4 Billion on the food stamp program during fiscal year 2012, which was a $2.7 Billion increase from FY 2011. Moreover,
federal spending on SNAP has increased every fiscal year that Obama has been in office. In FY 2009—when SNAP was still known as the "Food Stamp" program—the government spent $55.6 billion. According to an
April 2012 report from the Congressional Budget Office, SNAP enrollment increased by 70 percent between 2007 and 2011. That's so difficult to even comprehend.
So tell me folks, all of you who were accusing Newt of somehow being a racist for doing nothing more than what turns out to be the truth. Where exactly was it that he was wrong? I mean for crying out loud, how would you describe Barry after now seeing these numbers. Let's be honest here, shall we? Barry has been a one man wreaking crew visited upon this country since the very first day of his first term. And now he's been handed another four years that will allow him more than sufficient time to screw up that which he didn't have time to get to during his first four years. Now I l know why those who voted for him, did so. The gravy train can be made to appear very enticing. But what I can't figure out is why any sane person looking back over the last four short years, could simply stay home on Election day.
So I gotta ask. Did all of those who chose not to vote in this last election, do so because they somehow approve of Barry's plan to "fundamentally transform" America? I can only assume, since so many decided to sit out this last election, those 14 million Americans must have been just fine with how things are going. Otherwise, why wouldn't they have gotten off their, what are most likely rapidly expanding, asses and prevented him from gaining another four years to complete what he sees as being his vision for America. And I'll tell ya, if that doesn't scare the livin bejesus out of you, I don’t think anything will. Because unless we suddenly come to possess some members of Congress who are genuinely on the side of freedom, I doubt there is much we'll be able to do to prevent Barry from forever altering our country.
