I seriously doubt that there are very many Americans who, by this time, are in any way unaware of Barry’s rather over-inflated sense of importance, or of the size of the man’s ego. Let’s face it, every time you see him he’s out there bragging about how he’s somehow responsible for some economic miracle or how because of some action he has taken, America has become much better that it was before he happened along. One of his favorite claims is the one where how he, personally, is responsible for the creation of 2.2 Million jobs. Actually, the number that’s much closer to the truth, at least as it relates to full-time jobs created, would be one that’s slightly less than 500,000. And despite his many claims, Barry had nothing to do with creating those jobs.
Anyway, while the number of people who had jobs in the United States increased by 143,000 from November to December of last year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, that still left 1,687,000 fewer Americans holding jobs than held jobs six years ago in December 2007. In November, 144,443,000 Americans were employed and in December, 144,586,000 held jobs, representing a one-month increase of 143,000. However, the 144,586,000 Americans who had jobs in December 2013 was still 1,687,000 less than the 146,273,000 who held jobs six years ago. And it’s nearly in that very same amount of time that we have had over 10 Million Americans leaving the workforce because they simply could not find a job.
Since the recession hit in December 2007, the labor force participation rate has declined from 66.0 percent to 62.8 percent, matching a 35-year low. The labor force participation rate hit 62.8 percent in October, according to BLS. It then hit 63.0 in November, but dropped back down to 62.8 percent in December. Prior to October and December, the labor force participation rate had not been as low as 62.8 percent since back during the days of Jimmy Carter. And while much continues to be made about how our current unemployment rate is 6.7 percent, to actually believe that that number is in any way accurate, one has to ignore completely the number of Americans who are no longer even participating in the nation’s workforce.
Let’s face it, as I mentioned earlier, the number of people who have left the workforce, just during the time that Barry has been president is now over 10 Million. Now imagine what the employment rate would be if only half of those folks were still out there looking for a job. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to be able to figure out that it would be considerable higher. But why should people bother looking for work when Barry and his fellow Democrats have now simplified things considerably when it comes to being able to simply live off the government? That’s one area where Barry has truly excelled. And he has a very sinister goal here, and his reason for getting more and more people addicted to government is essentially twofold.
You see, by getting all of these people firmly affixed to the government teat, he makes it much easier to ‘convince’ the recipients of these benefits to vote for Democrats. Also what Barry is attempting to create here is a completely unsustainable level of spending, the only natural result of which, he hopes, is a complete collapse of our economy. So the nearly 50 million Americans on food stamps, the 11 Million more people collecting federal disability benefits, as of December, and the over 100 Million people who are now currently on some form of government ‘assistance’ when combined together put what is an unbearable amount of stress on our economic system. And thus the real purpose behind the spending madness of the Democrats
With all this talk of government assistance, I often find myself wondering just what it is that the government is ‘assisting’ these folks in doing. It’s mindboggling! I mean the only people who I see as being assisted here, are those in the Democrat Party. Because they heap more and more money into programs that are destined to go broke simply to get folks to vote for them. And by spending more and more money that we simply don’t have, they assist themselves in bringing about the economic and financial collapse that they hope will then allow them to replace our current capitalist system with one that is much more to their liking. And all the while more of the American people seem to be oblivious to everything that’s happening right before their eyes.
And now I’m supposed to be convinced that the answer to all of our problems is to elect Hitlery Clinton? I’m just seeing where electing one communist after being made to endure eight years of our current communist, does anything to solve what are our very long term problems. I mean if the American people are so determined to lose everything we have by voting for Hitlery, well then we’re simply screwed. Because if she is elected there will be no chance of ever being able to turn things around. The death spiral that has now been created will only accelerate. What really ticks me off is the fact that I know that those who have put us in this mess are laughing at us. They see us as dopes who will believe whatever they tell us. And too many of us do.
