MORE COCKAMAMIE JOBS NUMBERS…
Despite the fact that a growing number of Americans are slowly beginning to recognize the unemployment numbers for what they are, which is nothing more than pure propaganda, that certainly hasn’t prevented Barry & Co. from continuing to put out their monthly works of fiction. Nor has it prevented Barry’s many allies in our state-controlled media from bending over in their efforts to tout these numbers as being proof that our economy continues to recover, however slowly that may be. But it’s all nothing more than smoke and mirrors.
Because Barry continues to move his agenda to "fundamentally transform" America forward, and in so doing we have now have 92,269,000 Americans do not today participate in this nation’s labor force. And according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the labor force participation rate has now matched a 36-year low of 62.8 percent. The labor force participation rate has been as low as 62.8 percent in six of the last twelve months, prior to last October it had not fallen that low since 1978, when another Democrat, Jimmy Carter, was president.
We’re told that BLS employment statistics are based on what is referred to as the civilian noninstitutional population, which consists of all people 16 years old or older who were not in the military or an institution such as a prison, mental hospital or nursing home. In August, the civilian noninstitutional population supposedly consisted of 248,229,000 Americans. Now of that 248,229,000, 155,959,000, or 62.8 percent, participated in the nation’s labor force, which means that they either had or job or had actively sought one in the last four weeks.
The 92,269,000 who did not participate in the labor force are those who did not have a job and did not actively seek one in the last four weeks. Because they did not seek a job, they did not count as "unemployed." Of the 155,959,000 who did participate in the labor force, 146,368,000 had a job and 9,591,000 did not have a job but actively sought one. The 9,591,000 are the unemployed. They equaled 6.1 percent of the labor force, or an unemployment rate of 6.1 percent, which was done slightly from the 6.2 percent unemployment rate in July.
So it’s month after month that we are subjected to numbers that have been manipulated at best or, at worst, simply made up out of whole cloth. What serves as being the perfect example of that is the fact that we are actually expected to believe that real unemployment nationwide is down to 6.1%, that real unemployment rate for blacks is 11.4%, real unemployment for whites Americans is 5.3% and real unemployment for Latino Americans is 7.5%. Frankly I think you’d have to be pretty naïve to believe that any of these numbers are anywhere near being accurate.
When those responsible for such things as the coming up with these numbers, what they repeatedly leave out of the equation is the fact that literally millions of Americans, over 10 Million to be exact, are, for one reason or another, no longer members of this nation’s workforce. And that number has been reached just since Barry first came into office back in 2009. Imagine, if you can, what our unemployment rate would likely be today if even half of those people were still in the workforce and still out looking for a job. It most certainly would not be 6.1%.
So whenever listening to Barry & Co. or any of his cheerleaders in the state-controlled media it would be very wise to take most, if not all, of what they say with a rather substantial grain of salt. Because never before have we had such a gang of liars in the White House so willing to so completely alter, manipulate, concoct or so completely fabricate than this current bunch that now occupies the Oval Office. And these monthly jobs numbers are but one example of the lengths they will go to to keep the American people from discovering the damage that is being done.
