WHAT DID OBAMA KNOW ABOUT ISIS, AND WHEN DID HE KNOW IT???

Poor Barry "Almighty" has continued to see his handling of the ISIS situation further blow up in his face as we have now been made aware of the fact that he was first briefed on the dangers that ISIS represents more than a year ago. And yet, Barry has continued to refer to this group as being nothing more than a team of second-stringers and even after a year he has thus far been unable to formulate any sort of a viable strategy to combat this gang of murdering extremists. And how was it that we came to find out such a thing about that which was supposed to be the most transparent administration in our history? Well, we know of this because a former Pentagon official has now confirmed to Fox News that detailed and very specific intelligence about the rise of ISIS was included in the PDB, or the President’s Daily Brief, for at least a year ‘before’ the group took large swaths of territory beginning just this past June.

This unnamed official who asked not to be identified, for the very simple reason that the PDB is considered the most authoritative, classified intelligence community product providing the President with analysis of sensitive international events, said the data was strong, and "granular" in detail, adding a policy maker "…could not come away with any other impression: This is getting bad." The official who has close knowledge of the process said Barry "Almighty", who apparently reads the PDB unlike his predecessors who traditionally had the document briefed to them, was not known to come back to the intelligence community with any further questions or "taskings." Asked to describe the frequency that such things may have taken place, the former Pentagon official said "not generally." Which doesn’t really surprise me, nor should it surprise anyone else. This has always been Barry’s modus operandi.

After suggestions that the administration may have been blindsided by the rise of ISIS, and that poor intelligence was to blame, the former Pentagon official proceeded to paint a very different picture. This source went so far as to say that some of the intelligence was so good it was described as "exquisite" when Barry "Almighty" drew a red line on chemical weapons use in Syria in 2012. The source, who is familiar with the deliberations, said "(we) were ready to fire, on a moments notice, on a couple hundred targets," but no order was given. In some cases, targets were tracked for a "long period of time" but then slipped away. So once again we are witness to what as become typical behavior for our current commander-in-chief or, in other words, what has become ‘The Obama Doctrine’. That is to put off the making of any sort of a decision until the time comes when the decision no longer needs to be made.

And on whether or not the administration delayed acting on the Foley rescue, as first reported by the Sunday Times of London to be 30 days, the former Pentagon official confirmed there was a significant delay, describing a White House that was racked with "hesitancy" and continually asking for "the intelligence to build up more." Fox News was told that a large, heavily armed compound, believed to be housing Foley, and other potential captives, was identified near the ISIS strong hold of Raqaa, Syria. But because of Barry’s inability, or complete unwillingness, to make any sort of a decision Mr. Foley, and now another journalist, Steven Sotloff, are both dead. There has always been in Barry’s decision making process a very integral step. And that step is to determine what political fallout may arise from any potential failure, and to also make very sure that there is a plan in place that allows Barry an escape route should things end badly.

So, anyway, there you have it. The Commandant-In-Chief of the United States of America, who said that the U.S. did not have a plan for ISIS, has once again managed to fumble the foreign policy football by failing to act upon the growing Islamic threat that has recently beheaded at least two American journalists, and killed literally scores of innocent civilians in Syria and Iraq. More than a few have described Barry as being nothing short of irresponsible or even amateurish when it comes to all matters of foreign policy. But you know, I can’t help but wonder if such descriptions of Barry’s behavior miss the mark. I can’t help but wonder if Barry’s choice to disregard such important information, and for months, might have been based on something else, something far more sinister. After all, what kind of a leader ignores warnings on a group, and especially a group like this ISIS, for an entire year? Barry simply can no longer be trusted.
