DEMOCRATS FORCE THEMSELVES TO TALK TOUGH DURING ELECTION SEASON…

If one looks back over the years, practically throughout our history, any tough talk regarding the taking on of our enemies, usually just so happens to coincide with a national election. And it’s always after any election that all that tough talk seems to pretty much evaporate. And that trend continues today as we are seeing more than a Senate Democrats, especially those who are now facing some pretty tight re-election races in the midterms, denouncing Barry "Almighty" for first declaring that we have no strategy on how to handle the increasing threat from the Islamic State in the Middle East and by then saying the primary objective here should be to reduce ISIS to being "a manageable problem." And then only with the assistance with the "international community," the same international community which has absolutely no interest in protecting American lives.

One of those Democrats who has now become quite vocal in his ‘apparent’ concern, is none other than Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota.  Franken has now apparently written to Attorney General Eric "I’m a Racist" Holder, saying that he was "troubled" that the administration is struggling to find a military solution to the terror organization, also known as ISIS or ISIL. And then, following Barry’s declaration that he doesn’t yet to come up with any sort of viable a strategy on air strikes in Syria, Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia called on the White House to come up with a comprehensive plan to eradicate the jihadist extremists. And next on our list of appeasement oriented Democrats now seeking to be seen tough on terror is Sen. Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire who ripped into Barry’s remarks that he plans to turn ISIS into a "manageable problem."

In his letter to "I’m a Racist" Holder, Franken wrote, "I was troubled by the president’s recent suggestion that the administration has not yet developed a comprehensive strategy to address the growing threat of ISIL’s activities in Syria." Franken, aka Sen. Stuart Smalley, went on to say, "One American who went to high school in Minnesota has been confirmed to have been killed in Syria while fighting with ISIL, and others have traveled there to fight with ISIL as well. We must act diligently and responsibly to prevent Americans from taking up arms with ISIL, or from reentering if they do." Franken added, "The Justice Department should focus its research and efforts in places where terrorism recruitment efforts may be happening at higher rates, such as Minnesota. In addition, the Justice Department should co-ordinate with the State Department and Homeland Security to prevent Americans from traveling abroad to join forces with ISIL."

And then it was only after the "barbaric" beheadings of American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff, that Warner was finally moved to release a statement on Wednesday urging the White House to "articulate" a strategy to deal with the danger posed by the brutal Islamic State. This boob Warner wrote, "I urge the Administration to come to Congress with a clear strategy and political and military options for eliminating the ISIL threat." This dim bulb went on to say, "The United States should not take any military options off the table, because stopping ISIL is in the national security and foreign policy interests of the U.S. and our European allies. We need to see the Iraqis, other partners across the region, and our European allies in NATO stand together against the ISIL threat." While Warner is likely to win re-election, apparently he’s trying to cover all his bases here.

It was the moron Shaheen who also slammed Barry for stating that the U.S. plans to turn the thousands of bloodthirsty ISIS fighters into a "manageable problem." And she also took the opportunity to praise ‘Slow Joe’ Biden for his supposed tough talk where he declared that this administration "will follow them to the gates of hell until they are brought to justice." But ‘Slow Joe’ too had an obvious ulterior motive for his sudden tough talk regarding this group ISIS. His empty rhetoric, as well, must be taken in the context that we do now have an election in a mere 61 days and Democrats do face the possibility of losing control of the Senate. Let’s not forget that when it comes to these leftist luminaries everything, including even the security of this country, comes down to politics. The hope for Democrats here is that they will be able to convince just enough voters to allow them to salvage, in some way, November’s election.
