I’M JUST A GUY WITH A DREAM…

Yes, I have a dream and please don’t laugh because it’s a crazy one. You see, my dream is that some day soon, I hope, there will take place in this country a mass awakening, and the American people, by the tens of millions, will finally come to recognize what it is that is being done to them and to this country by the very people that they themselves have elected. And it will be on that very day that they finally become pissed off to the point where they will finally be compelled to take action, even action that they would not typically feel comfortable resorting to.

Yes, I have a dream that the American people will finally snap out of whatever trance they have been in for the last few decades and will come to their senses, and be of one voice. And they will recognize how our career politicians, in both parties, have long viewed them as being nothing more than patsies. And I have a dream that the American people will then become willing to do whatever it is that might be necessary to replace every one of these politicians using one very simple rule. Elect only those individuals who promise to make America, America again.

Let’s face it, the days of actually being able to trust any of our politicians, if ever we really could trust any of them, has long since passed. Americans seem in need of being reminded that these politicians work for them, and while no one really ever enjoys firing someone, sometimes it’s just something that needs to be done for the benefit of others, and that should go for politicians as well. We send these people to Washington to attend to the people’s business, not to force down our throats their endless cockamamy schemes the only purpose of which is to gain them votes.

And when it’s that that becomes the priority of our supposed leaders, well then, it’s time for the people to step in and make the necessary changes. It’s either that or allow these politicians to ride roughshod over those who put them into office in the first place. Politicians are like children, they must either be held accountable for their actions, all of their actions, or, if necessary, sent to their room or, when it comes to politicians removed from office, never to be permitted to run for office again. These are the rules that our politicians must be made to play by.

And I have a dream that Americans will come to vote in such numbers for what is best for the country that no amount of cheating will be able to alter the outcome. So, what are the chances of my dream actually becoming a reality? Am I simply being naïve to consider such a thing will actually ever come to pass? How much more must we be made to suffer and how much further must our country be destroyed, right before our eyes, before enough Americans will come to feel the need to come to her rescue. To put everything they have on the line to prevent the country from dying?

And ask yourself, what further indignities must those of us whose only interest is in keeping America, America, be made to suffer at the hands of those so desperate to turn America into something else, something totally unrecognizable compared to what it has always been? And at what point will people finally say enough, is enough, this far and no further. Well, it would seem that we still have not been made to fall far enough to lure enough people into taking the level of action that we all know needs to be taken if there is to be any country left to pass down to our children.

People, your country is now purposely being made to die. And whether you are white, black, gay, straight, Hispanic, a man, a woman, a transgender, a Christian, a non-Christian, it doesn’t matter, you have to see that. And when this ship is made to sink it’s ALL of us that will be going down with it, every single one of us. And if you think you’re somehow safe because you’ve been voting for Democrats your entire life, then you’re as stupid as the Democrats think you are. Democrats care nothing about you. You are nothing but a means to an end. Their “unlimited cosmic power!"

The political elites, the rich and powerful, the Hollyweird leftists are all laughing at regular Americans who want nothing more than to be left alone to live out their lives as they see fit. They want nothing more than to have politicians do that which they were sent off to Washington to do. They want to feel safe in their homes, they want a steady job, and while they understand that taxes are a necessary evil, they dislike being accused of not paying their fair share by those who very clearly are not. And they want politicians to appear to care more about this country than themselves.

So riddle me this, what sense does it make to not want to get your country back to where it was a mere 24 months ago? What pleasure is to be gotten from being made to endure this misery now being foisted upon the American people by Joey B and the Democrats and a handful of RINOs? And what, if any, sense does it make to turn your back on the man who can take us back? Do you really hate Trump that much that you would purposely choose to forfeit your children’s futures? If so, then you’re also as stupid as the Democrats think you are. It is time to wake up, people!

WHAT IF BLACKS, AND NOT WHITES, HAD SETTLED AMERICA???

I would like to pose a question.  While we know what America would go on to become, an economic powerhouse and military superpower in just a brief 200 years with whites being in the majority, would the same results been achieved with whites in the minority.  Or, like all other countries where blacks are in the majority, would it never have progressed beyond a third world status.  For instance, let’s take a look at the countries of Rhodesia, known today as Zimbabwe, and South Africa.  If we look back to the time when whites were in control of these countries, what we would see are two countries that were both quite stable and economically strong.  But once blacks assumed control of the governments things began to go very badly, very quickly.  Today both these countries are nothing short of economic train wrecks.  And look what has happened in this country after seven years of having a black president.

Current history shows how it is that America would become the standard by which all other nations would come to be measured when it came to the level of freedom possessed by, as well as the standard of living enjoyed by, the citizens of every other nation.  America would also become the home of nearly every modern invention, nearly every significant scientific discovery and nearly every modern day medical innovation.  No other country anywhere on the planet has contributed more to improving the human condition than has the United States of America.  Add to that the fact that it would also come to possess the most powerful military the world has ever known, a military, I might add, that has never been used to conquer, but to protect others and to deliver freedom to millions.  But consider for a moment, a different history of our country.

Imagine, if you can, that through some bizarre twist of fate the roles played by the individual races were to be somehow reversed.  That if we were to go back in time we would find that those to first set foot in the new world and to colonize this country were not primarily white, but black.  And what if when slavery finally came to rear its ugly head those slaves were, in fact, white and it was their masters who were black.  Would the story as it was originally written end differently?  In the new story would the black majority take the same steps to end slavery or would they be content to maintain the status quo.  Had our ‘Founding Fathers’ been black would they have sought to use wording in the new Constitution as a way of bringing slavery to its eventual end?  Would there even be a Constitution if it had been up to our black ‘Founding Fathers’?  Would they have even seen the need?

And then as we move further through our revised version of American history, would there have been the same level of determination to guarantee that, in accordance with our Constitution, all men were to be free?  For that matter, had our ‘Founding Fathers’ been black would there have been a Constitution?  And let’s say, for the sake of argument, that Abraham Lincoln, or whomever might have been president at this crucial time, had in fact been black, would there have been the same willingness to go to war because of slavery.  Would the Civil War have been fought?  Or would it have been seen as being not worth any potential consequences that might result from it?  So, would there even have been a Civil War.  Or would slavery, with blacks fully in charge and the majority of the population, simply have been allowed to spread to every region of our young country?  

And then stop and think, for a moment, about all of the inventions, the numerous scientific innovations and the endless number of medical breakthroughs that have taken place which were it not for the United States would have either never taken place at all, or would have taken many more years, even decades to come about.  And what about things like segregation, would it been allowed to continue with there no need being seen to bring it to an end.  Would there ever have been the policy of affirmative action that would have, instead of favoring blacks, provided to whites the same advantage that it provides for blacks to this very day. I seriously doubt it.  Would whites have ever been allowed to progress beyond being anything more than second class citizens as blacks were able to do?  Would blacks paved the way allowing them to do so?  Again, I seriously doubt it!    

And lastly, what would the world beyond America’s borders look like today if the United States had, throughout its history, been a black majority country?  Would there have been any interest in assisting friends in their time of need?  And if the United States were a country with a black majority population, would it ever have progressed beyond being anything more than just another third world country or ever become the world’s lone superpower?  Now I would argue that in all likelihood America would not be the America that it is today.  Now of course this is all hypothetical.  Thank God the Pilgrims were white and most, if not all, of the early settlers were as well.  And thank God those who worked to create this greatest experiment in individual freedom in all of human history were also white.  Because had they not been, I have no doubt that things would have turned out very, very differently.

AMERICA EDGES EVER CLOSER TO BRINGING ABOUT ITS OWN DEMISE…

Are we here in America becoming far more socially liberal, and therefore more immoral in how we go about living out our lives?  Well, if a recent Gallup poll is anywhere near correct, then the answer would appear to be…yes.  Because it’s according to Gallup that 31 percent of Americans now describe their views on social issues as being generally liberal, matching the percentage of those who identify as social conservatives for the first time in Gallup records dating back to 1999.  It’s also the highest figure ever recorded for liberals and the lowest for conservatives.

Some 63 percent of Americans now say gay or lesbian relations are "morally acceptable." That's a 23-point jump since 2001, when only 40 percent felt that way, according to Gallup. That jump reflects the greatest shift in opinion to the left of any issue Gallup measured in its survey.  Americans today are also more accepting of having a child out of wedlock: 61 percent said it's OK, compared with 45 percent in 2001. And some 68 percent of Americans now say sex outside of marriage is acceptable, compared with 53 percent in 2001.

Liberals are giddy, as well they should be. They delight in having been able to bring the rest of us down to their level, there in the gutter.  According to that liberal rag of a newspaper, the Washington Post, “You may not have realized it, but a large cohort of Americans did something brave this month.”  The writer goes on to say, “For years—in some cases, decades—these lonely, marginalized souls had repressed their shameful feelings, hiding them from the world. Then May came along, and they finally decided to come out of the closet. As liberals.”  If so, that is in no way a good thing.

And it was this same writer who said, “On multiple social issues,” adding, “Americans have indeed become more likely to adopt the standard lefty stance.” She cites only two examples—same-sex marriage and marijuana legalization—and then allows that “abortion appears to be the outlier . . . with views bouncing around a bit; ‘pro-choice’ and ‘pro-life’ have taken turns holding pluralities in recent years.”  What is claim to be “the standard lefty stance” is really nothing more than the manner in which those on the left refer to their increasingly level of perversion.

And then we have the New York Times, another liberal rag, joining in and providing additional examples, from Gallup’s “moral acceptability” index.  The writer in this instance said, “Acceptance of gay or lesbian relations is up 23 percentage points over that time. Having a baby outside of marriage is up 16 points. Premarital sex is up 15 points. Divorce and research using stem cells obtained from human embryos are both up 12 points.”  It would seem these are odd things to crow about, and they make quite clear just how far we have fallen as Christian nation.

Gallup’s findings on same-sex marriage, which are consistent with those of other pollsters, show a steady and rapid increase in support: 60% this year, up from 37% in 2005 and 40% in 2009.  Now it might be worth pointing out that that this growing support for gay marriage may be based, at least in part, on the fact that a majority of Americans also ‘assume’ that the percentage of our population that is gay to be roughly 25 percent.  The actual percentage is under 4 percent.  Which begs the question, where would people get the impression that the number is so much higher?  

By definition, “social conservatives” (and some “moderates”) are the holdouts against, for the most part, same-sex marriage and abortion.  And sadly, it would seem that the holdouts by definition are decreasing in number. This explains how changing opinion about same-sex marriage could—and in our view almost certainly does—account for virtually the entire trend away from “socially conservative” and toward “socially liberal.” It’s a mistake to think substantial numbers of voters have suddenly embraced the entire package deal of “social liberalism” more broadly defined.

It is said that the findings of this poll have implications for the next election.  It is said that Republicans will have to abandon, or at least soften, their opposition to such things as gay marriage.  It seems reasonable to surmise that an aggressively oppositional position, of the sort George W. Bush adopted in 2004, will be as untenable in 2016 as support for same-sex marriage would have been that year—or, for that matter, as recently as 2008, when even Barry claimed to yield to the dictates of his faith and declared himself against same-sex marriage.

Liberals, and some conservatives, doubtless are puzzled that public opinion has stubbornly refused to move to the left on abortion while it has done so with such ease on same-sex marriage.  But it’s unlikely that the abortion figures are stable because everybody’s mind is made up; rather, people change their minds in both directions. Younger people tend to be more “pro-choice” and older ones more “pro-life,” just as older folks tend to be more about family.  By contrast, hardly anyone goes from supporting same-sex marriage to opposing it, movement has been all in one direction.

This increase in “liberal” positions on both abortion and same-sex marriage are said to have come about because of cultural assumptions about sexual equality and freedom. Assumptions that, for better or worse, have become more widely shared over the past half-century or so. There remain arguments against same-sex marriage but they are countercultural arguments and comprehending such arguments requires a fairly deep familiarity with philosophical or theological systems of thought that, while far from dead, are also far from universally agreed upon or even understood.

And while the argument against abortion may be more easily understood, there is still little tolerance for those who oppose it.  The claim is always made that women are in control of their bodies and therefore have the right to determine the fate of that child inside of them.  Little consideration is given to the fact that when a woman becomes pregnant it’s a separate life that resides within her.   One cannot ignore the fact that the unborn child one is carrying is a human being worthy of the very same protections under the law as is the mother, and not merely a clump of cells that can be, or should be, removed. 

Now one would think that “pro-life” arguments would be especially appealing to liberals, or at least to that sensitive subset of liberals who find themselves compelled to protest for the equal rights and fair treatment of those animals part of the food chain. Or that group on the left that has little difficulty in arguing that some cop killer deserves to have a second chance more than he deserves to be executed.  That they are not is testament to liberals’ determination to resist any encroachment, in practice as well as in theory, against the ideals of sexual equality and freedom.

And where abortion has been around since time immemorial, same-sex marriage is a relatively new idea, the subject of serious debate only for the past 20 years or so. At the start of that debate most people opposed the idea because it was novel and seemed strange.  For a while, appeals to tradition were sufficient to sustain the opposition, but sadly we have now gotten to the point where appeals to tradition cannot long withstand what is sure to become a virtual onslaught once the philosophy on which that tradition is based has died in the minds of most of the populace.

I think few would argue that America has now been brought to what can be described as being a tipping point and we have been brought there primarily by those on the left.  But that’s not so say that some on the right have not played a role.  And not only is there now an effort underway to push this nation over the cliff fiscally, but morally and spiritually as well.  And if this poll tells us anything, it would seem that those determined to bring an end to this country are achieving as much success morally as they are fiscally.  They do so by using their own immorality as a weapon.  

JUST SOME RANDOM THOUGHTS…

Regarding the goings on in our nation’s capital, does anyone other than myself find themselves wondering how it is that we who were once considered to be the freest, and most prosperous people on the face of this planet, came to allow things to spin so wildly out of control?  When was it that things to come so completely off the tracks?  And what must we have been thinking for us to allow our politicians to have now come so completely off the chain?   We had to have known deep in our gut that that was not a good idea.  And yet, we offered so very little resistance.

But then I suppose ‘how’ we came to be at this particular point in time matters very little.  What matters now, I would think, is that we all agree to work together toward finding some way of possibly reversing things.  But the question is, do enough of us still possess the necessary will, or the desire, to even attempt such a thing?   We are supposed to be a nation of laws, with a government of the people, by the people and for the people.  But somewhere along the way that was apparently thought to be far too difficult.  So instead, we chose to relinquish our control.

So whose fault is it that we now find ourselves being so thoroughly ignored by a majority of those whom we chose to put into office as recently as 7 months ago?  Our first mistake was to believe the many campaign lies we were told, and now we’re paying the price.  And likely when the next election rolls around many of these same perpetrators will once again expect us to trust them when they say that they are on our side.  But their actions speak far louder than their words.  They need to be made to understand that once trust is lost, it’s very difficult to regain. 

So what are we to do in the meantime?  Resign ourselves to the fact that we now have no control of our government?  It saddens me greatly that the future that now lies in front of my daughter is most certainly not the one that I had envisioned for her.  And I cannot be the only one who feels this way.  And if we are to have any hope of providing a better future for our children than the one that now exists then we must be willing to make certain sacrifices.  Freedom is not cheap nor is it something that comes about without there being a great deal of work involved.   

And by work, I’m not necessarily talking about any actual physical labor, because we know that these days far too many Americans avoid that as if it were the plague.  What I mean by work is the getting, and keeping, of ourselves informed of what your leaders may be up to, and to be willing to hold them accountable regardless of political party.  The country must always be made to come first.  And if you are unwilling to do that, then you become nothing more than a part of the continuing problem.  The country must be made to survive.

What we all need to do, regardless of our gender, sexual orientation, faith, or lack of, our race or ethnic background is to come to grips with the fact that there is no other country on Earth where one can, if willing to work hard and play by the rules, accomplish absolutely anything that one puts one’s mind to.  And what we are rapidly losing here is that opportunity, and once it is lost, it will essentially be lost for us all and for generations.  Life isn’t fair, but life ‘is’ what you choose to make of it, and nowhere but here in America can you make so much of it.

I worry that we’re letting things slip through our fingers, with far too few of us seeming to see that as being any sort of a problem.  Freedom is a pretty rare commodity here on planet Earth, and once it’s lost, whether by being freely given away, or with it being taken at the point of a gun, it’s always nearly impossible to ever get back.  But many see that as being no big deal.  But it is a big deal, it’s a very big deal!  Look, I don’t claim to have all the answers when it comes to trying to take our country back, but I do know that we need to recalibrate our priorities if we are to have any hope of surviving.  

WILL WE COME TOGETHER TO SAVE AMERICA? ‘CAN’ WE COME TOGETHER TO SAVE AMERICA???

Listen up everybody, let me make one thing perfectly clear.  Your country, my country…OUR country is now in some serious, serious trouble.  And regardless of your faith, or lack of, your gender, your sexual persuasion, your skin color, your ethnic background, or your position on gun control, abortion, or illegal immigration, what is now going to be required if we are to have any hope of surviving as a free and independent nation, is that we must ALL come together.  Coming together, what a concept.  But it has now become a concept so foreign to so many I wonder if we are even capable of such a thing anymore.  To be perfectly honest with you, I’m just not sure anymore. 

The politicians, the race-baiters, or really anyone with an agenda the purpose of which was to destroy America, have long been working to divide us for decades.  Because when the American people can be made to fight amongst themselves they are much easier to control, and they are also not paying much attention to what many of their leaders, not the least of which is their president, might be up to.  For instance, not enough of us seem to be paying any attention to the massive debt that we have now put upon the backs of our children, nor to the fact that millions of Americans have now become almost completely dependent upon their government.

It’s within our borders that we now see how Barry is working very hard to tilt the playing field in his own party’s favor by importing literally millions of illegal immigrants in what is nothing more than an effort to stack the electorate with undocumented Democrats who will vote for his party.  Ever since Woodrow Wilson, the Democrat Party has been working very hard to maneuver America into the very precarious situation that they have her in today.  And we the American people have not only allowed them to do so, many of us, far too many of us, out of our own selfish interests, actually encouraged them along the way by voting for them. 

But it is not just within our borders that trouble brews, but beyond them as well, in a World that seems to grow more volatile, more chaotic, and more dangerous almost by the hour.  America was once seen as being the primary stabilizing force in a world that seemed poised to come apart at nearly any moment.  And now that America seems to have purposely relinquished, what up until now had been, its traditional leadership role, we can very plainly see just how quickly the world descends into chaos without a strong America at the helm, and keeping things on an even keel.  The world is now in flames and thousands of people die needlessly every single day.

Which, I suppose, brings me to what, I guess, can be the only natural conclusion to be drawn from this little piece, the 2016 election.  It should be obvious to nearly everyone that we are rapidly running out of time if we are to have any hope of salvaging anything of what this country once was.  But, I wonder, are there enough in this country who possess the will necessary to even try?  Never in my life could I have ever imagined that a near majority of the American people would be so willing, even eager, to hand over so much of their freedom to their government, and in exchange for something so trivial.  Have we become nothing more than a nation of parasites?

While we all may never agree 100 percent on everything, least of all who it is that should be our next president, I think it should be painfully obvious, if one were to look deep inside oneself, who it is that most definitely should not be.  There is simply too much hanging in the balance to elect anyone just because it’s viewed as being his, or her, turn.  Is that really how we should go about selecting the leader of our country?  The tremendous amount of damage that will have been done by the time we will vote, demands that we act responsibly when choosing our next president.  To do otherwise jeopardizes the future for all of those who will come after us.      

WE’RE BRINGING ABOUT OUR OWN END…

Well folks, if the Census Bureau is right, it would appear that us white folks are now busy breeding, or not breeding, ourselves right out of existence or at least out of what will be the majority up at least up until the year 2044.  You see, it’s according to Census Bureau data that by 2044 more than half of all adults in America will belong to one minority group or another.  And I’m here to tell ya the day that that comes to pass, America will have officially come to the end of its run.  Now you can say what you want about white males, but who is it in this country that starts most of the successful small businesses?  Who is it that has the brains to do it and to make a business work?  Granted, not every white guy has what it takes to make a business work, a lot more whites can make it work than non-whites.  It’s just a fact of life!  

And who is it, in this country, other than your average white guy, that still has anything that would even remotely resemble a solid work ethic?  The fact is that a very substantial percentage of our various minorities would much rather sit back and collect their various government freebies than to trudge off to work every morning.  Work is a dirty four-letter word.  So what do you suppose will happen to this country when it’s only a ‘minority’ of its citizens who are actually willing to work?  What do you suppose might happen to all of those ‘government freebies?’ Because on the day that we have a majority of people in this country who feel they shouldn’t have to work, and would rather not work, yet still feel entitled to possess all of those things enjoyed by people who do work, everything comes to a halt, for absolutely everybody.

The report, "Projections of the Size and Composition of the U.S. Population: 2014 to 2060," released this past Tuesday, examines the total population, native and foreign-born, and concludes that the United States will "become a plurality nation" by 2044. While the non-Hispanic white population will still be the largest, no racial or ethnic group is likely to have more than a 50 percent share of the total population.  And I’ll tell ya something else, such news does not bode well for this country being able to remain prosperous very far into the future.  Now I suppose there’s not anything that can be done to alter that which seems to now be a foregone conclusion.  And it’s bound to have an effect politically, as well.  Because who it that these minorities vote for?  Democrats, that who.  And we know Democrats hate this country.  

WE MUST STAND UNITED AGAINST THOSE WHO WISH TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY…

Well, my fellow Americans, here we are a mere 27 days out from an election that may very well prove to be one of the few remaining opportunities that those of us, who wish to save our country, have to set things in motion that will hopefully undo at least some of what has been done over the course of the last 6 years. The results of which have been disastrous!

Now try as I may to remain at least somewhat optimistic about our chances of being able to prevail in these upcoming midterms, I can’t help but feel like a salmon trying to swim upstream while trying to avoid the bears. And I wonder if things haven’t now progressed past the point where we have much of a chance to ever succeed in getting things turned around.

Because for us to achieve the level of success that we must in order to be able to stem the tide, so to speak, I fear we may be more than a little short in the number of folks needed in our all-volunteer force to get the job done. Because it’s with each passing day that I feel that we become a bit more outnumbered than we were the day before. It’s all quite depressing.

Our country is slowly being made to slip from our grasp as it becomes "fundamentally transformed" into something that is so completely unrecognizable. And yet, fewer and fewer people actually seem to care. It seems that these days people are far more concerned with how much they can collect from the government rather than limiting the government’s power.

Personally I’ve always thought that having the privilege of being able to call oneself an ‘American’ was something quite unique in this world. Because up until the last several years there has always been that certain something that set us apart from the rest of the world. That was once seen as being the primary reason people wanted to come to this country.

And I’m sure I’ll offend some when I say this, but I think we, as Americans, were actually entitled to see ourselves as being a bit better than those from other lands. But at the same time, we’ve always been willing to welcome others in if they were willing to become one of us by learning our language, obeying our laws and becoming contributing members to our society.

But these days America has been made into little more than the free-lunch wagon. It seems as if more and more wish to come here for no other reason to see what they can get in exchange for little or nothing in return. America has been made to fall a considerable distance, and yet, few of us seem to care. Patriotism and love of country seem to have all but completely vanished.

So what’s the answer? Do we raise the white flag and simply retreat and leave our country behind for the likes of Barack Obama to restructure into what would essentially be nothing more than the country formerly known as that beacon of freedom upon the world? While I may not yet be ready to surrender, I am being steadily worn-down as the battle becomes more difficult.

AMERICA, WHERE NOTHING CAN GO WRONG…GO WRONG…GO WRONG…

While those with whom I am surrounded on a daily basis at my place of employment probably don’t realize it, they have come to serve a useful purpose. That purpose is that they serve as being my very own personal, and quite unique, cadre of ‘lab rats’ which I use to assess many of things that I hear about every day in the news. And it’s amazing just how clueless most of these people are when it comes to what’s going on not only in their country, but the world.

And what I have been able to discover is despite the fact that a rather significant number of them seem to pride themselves on being quite well informed, in reality most, if not all, of them are anything but. Whether it’s on the subject of Obamacare, the economy, unemployment, the growing number of scandals that surrounds Barry "Almighty", or even how we should go about combating terrorism, they are all pretty much oblivious to all that’s going on around them.

Most of them are members of one minority group or another, and as the only white guy in the immediate area I am officially outnumbered. And, quite frankly, that should tell you all that you need to know right there. And, as I’m sure many of you might have already guess, I’m quite sure most of them are Democrats. And as I listen it’s many of things that I hear many of them complaining about that were brought about by the very ones that they voted for.

And yet when you try to point that inconvenient truth out them, very tactfully of course, they simply look at you like they have no idea what on Earth you’re talking about. It’s really quite amazing. And what I find it as being pretty funny is how a few them claim they are independents, saying that they are fed up with both parties and therefore don’t belong to either. But whenever you listen to them talking about certain issues, it’s very clear they are Democrats.

Now keep in mind most, but certainly not all, of these folks are fairly well educated, so I can’t really say that they’re simply too stupid to know any better. So might they be the product of their environment when growing up or a college education? But either way, many do have children and yet seem to be bothered very little by the fact that they have become the willing accomplices in the burying of those children under what has become a mountain of debt.

What I can’t seem to impress upon them is the fact that we simply can no longer go on this way. Personally I am very worried about the current state of not only my country, but the world as well. And I fear that we may have now moved well beyond the point of no return. We seem more proof of that every single day and yet people continue to move through life as if we can just keep on going the way we are. But to do so is nothing short of delusional.

And for whatever the reason, and nearly to a person, they either choose to ignore, or simply cannot comprehend, the fact that the Democrat Party in this country has but one mission. And that mission to bring about the complete collapse of this country, and it’s taking place right in front of their eyes. I fail to understand how anyone can look at what’s going on and deny that that is what they are trying to do. I mean even a crazy person will run from a burning theater.

These people choose to ignore completely the fact that the day will come when we, as a nation, will required to pay back all that we have borrowed. Commonsense should tell you that! Use your own household budget as an example. When have you ever been able to borrow money without having to pay it back? And they seem not to care that while they may escape the likely repercussions, it’s unlikely that their children will be as fortunate. And I wonder if any of them will ever wake up.

HOW DID WE COME TO LOSE OUR WAY???

I can’t help but wonder, as I listen to many of those by whom I am surrounded with on a daily basis, if there still remains any chance whatsoever of our actually being successful in ever being able to turn around the train wreck that this country has now become. Because I gotta tell you, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for this guy who once thought of himself as being a pretty optimistic fella, to think that that is something which is any longer even possible. I just don’t see that that many people are concerned about where it is that we seem to be headed.

And for some bizarre reason somewhere along the way, we the American people, in our infinite wisdom, decided that it would be some kind of a shit-hot idea if we were to take the one thing that was as close to perfection as anything ever conceived of by man, and to so screw it up that there may now be very little hope of ever being able to unscrew it. Now I suppose one could say that while it may not have been that final nail in the coffin, exactly, the election of Barack Hussein Obama has proven itself to be pretty close to it.

And now should we prove to remain determined in our effort to pursue she who would like nothing more than to finish that which Barry has begun, and to finally finish this country off, we will, in all likelihood, elect as our next president, if not someone like Hitlery Clinton, then most likely Hitlery Clinton herself. Personally I have to say that I simply do not understand the fascination people have with this congenital liar, but needless to say people do seem to be uncommonly infatuated with her.

And I must admit that it has been ever since Barry was first elected that I don’t get all that much sleep at night anymore. You see, I have a daughter, and someday she will have children, so I spend a great deal of time worrying about what this country is going to look like after I’m gone. Because it seems that with each passing day things become just a bit more unravelled than they were the day before. And those with whom I spend the majority of my time everyday either don’t seem to understand, or recognize, that fact, or they simply choose to ignore it all.

My impression of Barry is that he enjoys far more the title of president and all the trappings that go along with it, than the actual job itself. Though that’s not to say he doesn’t seem perfectly willing to use his position to advance the leftist cause. And I feel he views being president as merely a means to an end, with that end being the "fundamental transformation" of America. And after having watched him in action for the last 5 years, it would seem that he is interested in not much more than the complete destruction of the very country he was elected to lead.

So where am I going with this? Frankly, I’m not sure. I guess I’m hoping against hope that a majority of the American people will come to have an epiphany of a sort. That they will recognize just how far it is that we have managed to stray from the set of ideals, values and principles that were once viewed as being so uniquely American. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve always considered myself as being an optimist, but I worry that we might now have past the point of no return, no longer able, no matter how hard we try, to return to that which we once were.

FOLKS, WE ARE RAPIDLY LOSING OUR COUNTRY…

As I have mentioned before, there was recently a very interesting fact brought to my attention, just the other day, and it was something that I had not been aware of before. It is the rather interesting fact that, on average, since 1976 the Democrats have never managed to get more than 38 percent of the white vote in any presidential election. And something else that I did already know, is the fact that the more uneducated one tends to be, the more likely, even probable, one is to vote Democrat. Oh sure, plenty of rich folks do as well, I suppose, but they’re motivated by their own twisted, self-serving, agenda.

So it then becomes apparent, and very quickly, why it is that the Democrats, with the help of corrupt teachers’ unions, have continually sought to turn our public school system into what has become a very efficient chain of government indoctrination centers. And they have been very successful in their efforts. And it also tells us, or at least it should, a great deal about why it is that the Democrats are so desperate to shove through Congress legislation that, while disguised as ‘comprehensive immigration reform’, is actually nothing more than a blatant attempt to grant amnesty to the millions of illegal immigrants.

And it’s my own personal opinion that, barring some freakish sort of awakening suddenly taking place within millions of Americans, this country is well on it’s way to becoming, and may now even be destined to become, one more, on a very long list of many, casualty of that rather misguided economic theory, known as socialism. I am now quite confident that those who so proudly identify themselves as progressives will ultimately come to win the battle for America, and for no other reason than because so many Americans now seem to be so eager to become nothing more than slaves of their government.

I have loved this country my entire life. I spent 24 years in the service of her Navy, and though I was never called upon to fight, I would have been only to glad to do so. And never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would come to live in a country where one political party would be working so hard to destroy it and all that it stands for. And the fact that I see so little outrage regarding what it is that’s now taking place, gives me little cause to hope that we will be able to salvage anything of what’s left of our once proud republic. We’ve allowed politicians to divide us, and therefore we’ve allowed them to win.

I guess I always thought, or at least hoped, that there would be enough people like me around to make what the Democrats sought to do to my country impossible to accomplish. But boy I was wrong. I guess I never considered that so many Americans would actually come to choose to become slaves to their government. So many today seem quite content to live as nothing more than parasites, choosing to simply live off their fellow Americans and with never a thought being given to the impact that their sense of entitlement might have on the lives of those individuals being forced to cover their costs. It’s just all so sad.

I WAS JUST THINKIN’…

I keep thinking that blacks in this country will someday finally come to the realization that those most responsible for so many of them still living in poverty after the decades long ‘War on Poverty’ are those who, both black and white, comprise the Democrat Party. But I’m told by many I know that such a notion is nothing more than a fool’s dream because now after years of conditioning to live off the government, it has now become a way of life for most blacks, which makes it all but impossible for them to do anything different.

And yet I’ve always thought that no matter how one was raised, there was always that inner voice, an inherent ability, if you will, to know what was right, that we could count on to tell us when we were about to go astray. To remind us that living off the fruits of someone else’s labor was something that one simply didn’t do. That, instead, one should go out and work to produce one’s own fruit. But I guess I must be more than just a little naïve in that regard, because that’s just not how many in our minority communities view things.

I guess that’s because it’s just easier for them to view me, your typical white guy, as somehow being the one who’s to be blamed for the whatever obstacles they’ve been made to face in their lives. Easier, that is, than looking in the mirror and taking a cold hard look at the one person who’s really to blame for their plight. Granted, these people are constantly bombarded by politicians from one particular party, as well as many in the state-controlled media, telling them that they are not to be blamed for their present circumstances.

These people are constantly being told, and nearly ad nauseam, that it’s all because of the inherent unfairness of our economic system, that it’s simply rigged against them in order to guarantee their failure. I mean, here we are practitioners of the one economic system that makes it possible for absolutely anyone who’s willing to work hard, to become successful to the point that is beyond their wildest dreams, and yet you have these people being told, and them believing such nonsense, that it’s all just the opposite.

And once again I’ve always thought that no matter how it was one happened to be raised, and that no matter to how much dishonesty that one might have been exposed to, there was still buried somewhere deep inside each and every one of us, again regardless of color, that basic spark of common decency, an internal compass so to speak, that would always let us know when we were about to behave badly, or about to simply take something that we knew we had not rightly earned.

But apparently this is again where my naivete comes barrelling down the hillside at me like a runaway freight train. Because, silly me, I’m assuming that, even in this era of entitlement, commonsense, as well as the basic desire to be a self-sufficient and productive member of society would still exist. Well, we all know what happens when you assume. So these days I hold out little hope that those in our various minority communities will ever come to take it upon themselves to do anything more than to hold their hand out, making the rest of us responsible for their existence. Because they are owed.

IF I WERE PRESIDENT…

Let’s just say for the sake of argument, that the country was actually stupid enough to elect me as their president. Now even though something like that is never going to happen, I can still come up with a plan for what I would do if ever placed in that position. So here’s what I would promise to do if I’m ever found in the position of having been elected president, although not necessarily in this order:

1. On my first full day in the office I would officially shut down the EPA, The Department of Education, The Department of Labor, and the Department of Health and Human Services. And a hiring freeze would be put into place for the entire federal government.

2. Work would begin on putting together a proposal to be submitted to Congress that would effectively repeal all aspects of Obamacare. Congress would be encouraged to create a replacement plan designed to accomplish that which we were all told Obamacare would. The government, to the greatest extent possible, will get out of the healthcare business.

3. I would begin work on a budget for the next fiscal year. My starting point would be to determine the amount of money brought in in the form of taxes in the preceding year. My budget would propose that we spend no more than that amount. All surviving departments would be required to submit a realistic budget proposal within 30 days.

4. And part of that first budget would be a cut in income taxes across the board. There would also be a cut in corporate taxes, investment taxes, and a complete repeal of the ‘death tax’. And the amount projected to be brought in, each fiscal year, would be the limit on the amount that could be spent by the federal government the following fiscal year.

5. That first budget would also include a proposal to move forward with either the ‘Flat Tax’ or the ‘Fair Tax’. It would be stated that the ultimate goal would be to get rid of the IRS as expeditiously as possible.

6. The Postal Service would cease to be a part of the federal government. It would become privatized, sold off to the highest bidder.

7. A proposal for massive reform of all entitlement programs, including the requirement for mandatory drug testing, would be formulated and forwarded to Congress. Also new limitations would be placed on federal disability eligibility.

8. Aggressive enforcement of current immigration laws would begin immediately. Employers who saw fit to hire those in this country illegally would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Those here illegally would be encouraged to return to their country of origin. Those cities and states who declare themselves to be sanctuaries for illegal immigrants will be punished accordingly by receiving less funds from Washington.

9. Within the first 100 days of my administration all of the governors, and their attorneys general, from those states on our southern border would be invited to the White House to brainstorm the most efficient and cost effective ways for securing the southern border. Cost for doing so wold be a 70/30 shared expense between Washington and the states.

10. Also on day one of my administration most federal lands where drilling is currently prohibited, would be opened up to oil exploration. And construction, if not already underway, on the Keystone XL pipeline, would be started. All oil produced in this country would stay in this country. Any surplus over and above what is needed here at home could be exported.

11. Spending on national defense would have to be increased. Terrorists, as well as those countries that support them, would be put on notice that the ‘War on Terrorism’ is back. No longer will it be referred to as an ‘Overseas Contingency Operation’. Also, there would be a complete restructuring of the VA system including the overhaul of many facilities. VA hospitals not performing up to standards would be shut down until which time they would be able to provide adequate care to those in need.

12. Support of the ‘Defense of Marriage Act’ would be aggressively supported by my administration. Also it would become a requirement to show a picture ID when voting in all federal elections.

13. Also, it would be almost immediately that I started comprising a list of potential conservative candidates for the federal judiciary. And not only for the Supreme Court, but for every vacancy that would be out there.

14. At some point within the first 100 days, I would invite to the White House, those who I view as being responsible leaders of the various minority communities. There would be no Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson in attendance. And any others who would have no desire to seriously address the serious issues would not be asked to attend.

15. I would forward a proposal to Congress that would effectively ban federal employees from unionizing, and that would make it no more difficult to fire a public employee than it is a private sector employee.

16. Also on day one of my presidency it would be announced that the Unite States would be officially severing all relationship with the United Nations. The organization would be allowed 1 year to relocate. At the end of that time the organization’s current headquarters, whether completely vacated or not, would be sold to the highest bidder.

Now look, I fully admit that I’m not the smartest guy in the world, not being someone who ever went to college. What I am is a guy who loves my country and spent 24 years of my life in the military. So there’s probably some things that I missed here that would need to be done. All that I’m trying to do is to apply just a little of what I see as being commonsense to what has become a real mess.

THE FUTURE IS NOT LOOKING TOO GOOD…

I find it a little odd that I keep hearing about how it is that a majority of the American people say they think that the country is now headed in the wrong direction, or about how a majority thinks that the American dream is now officially dead or about how Barry has only succeeded in making America weaker. And oddly enough, it’s even a majority of Americans who now think that this supposed ‘prisoner swap’ engineered by Barry & Co. was a really bad idea.

So I’m more than just a little confused. Because how can a majority of Americans be said to think this way when, at the very same time, it’s seems to be Hitlery Clinton that everyone wants to see elected as Barry’s successor? After all, she has been a major player in this country having now been moved in the wrong direction, as secretary of state she contributed much in making America weaker, and she was very much in favor of that recent "prisoner swap’.

So which is it? What is it that the American people really want, because they can’t have it both ways? Do they really want to see a change in the direction that our country is currently on and a revival of the American dream? The reason for my confusion is the fact that in another recent poll it’s presumed 2016 Democrat candidate Hitlery Clinton who is leading her possible GOP rivals in the critical swing state of Pennsylvania in an early look at the race for the White House.

The poll to which I refer was conducted by Quinnipiac University from May 29-June 2, shows old Hitlery with a lead over Chris Christie of 45 percent to 41 percent. Among women, with whom the highest priority must be birth control, she leads by 51 percent to 37 percent, while men favor Christie at 45 percent to 38 percent. The survey which consisted of 1,308 registered voters also found that Hitlery has an even wider lead over every other potential GOP nominees.

It according to this same survey that we see that in a match-up with Rand Paul, old Hitlery would have a lead of 51 percent compared to 37 percent for Paul. Amd in a race against Mike Huckabee or Jeb Bush, old Hitlery would hold 51 percent support, while Huckabee would trail at 36 percent and Bush at 35 percent. The lead is slightly narrower if the match-up is with Paul Ryan. In that instance, Hitlery would have 50 percent support compared to Ryan at 38 percent.

It was this same poll that also found that Barry's approval rating continues to be in the negative in Pennsylvania, at 44 percent compared to 53 percent. In the February poll, his approval rating was negative 42 percent compared to 54 percent. Women in the state tend to be more divided about Barry's job performance at 47 percent compared to 48 percent. Men, meanwhile, give Barry a 40 percent approval rating compared to 58 percent who disapprove.

What’s the most important thing to Americans today? I would argue that the most important thing to a majority of us is to make sure we don’t need to pay taxes and to ensure that we get to remain on whatever government assistance programs we are currently able t take advantage of. Which most definitely tilts the playing field in favor of someone like Hitlery Clinton. We have now officially been overrun by the latest Democrat voting block, the parasite class.

The bottom line here is that if we are to have any hope, whatsoever, of being able to change the direction that our country is currently on, something very specific is going to have to take place. Those folks who have the rather nasty habit of doing little more than to perpetually walk around with their hand out, thinking, for whatever reason, that they are somehow owed something, must come to the realization that their free ride does not come without a very significant price.

Something that far too many Americans understand is the fact that the freedom is really a very fragile thing. And it takes a group effort by all involved to guarantee that it continues from on one generation to the next. Because when one generation assumes itself to be more important than those who will be coming after them, the ability to live in freedom is jeopardized for all. Therefore it is incumbent every single American to act responsibly and to not provide to the government opportunities to insert itself into the private lives of the citizens.

JUST SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT…

What has happened to that which was once so proudly referred to as, "the American spirit?" Are we able to put our finger on the cause of its apparent demise? Has it been bred out of us, has it been brainwashed out of us or, has it become diluted to the point where it now no longer exists? How is it that so many of us have become so willing to allow our government, a bunch of faceless and nameless bureaucrats hundreds or even thousands of miles ways from us, to dictate how it is that we spend our lives?

There is just something fundamentally un-American in our allowing that to happen. And yet most of those I’m around every single day just continue on as if everything is just as it should be. BUT IT’S NOT! Have we all become so focused on our own lives that we simply no longer have the time to pay any amount of attention to what is going on beyond the confines of our daily existence? We need to make time! We must make a conscious effort to force ourselves to become more vigilant. We simply cannot afford not to!

I guess I can understand why the blacks in this country don’t seem to mind what’s taking place in our country. I suppose after years of some pretty intense brainwashing they now see it as their chance to gain some level of revenge on those whom they have been told are the ones to blame for they’re being ‘forced’ to live poverty. Oddly enough, though, if blacks in this country were truly interested in discovering those responsible for their plight, they would really need look no further than the nearest mirror. But I digress.

There has been much talk about this fall’s election. About how the Republican Party stands to makes its biggest gains in over 20 years. Ok, suppose that does in fact happen, how much of a ‘real’ difference in things is that likely to make? I mean in the big scheme of things? We now have in this country a near majority of those who seem to possess the mentality, regardless how they came by it, that America must somehow be made better, more fair. Because the rich are to be blamed for the plight of the poor.

But what is overlooked, oft-times, is the fact that it’s in no other country on the planet that one, still even today, has been blessed with the opportunities that exist here in this country. If one is only willing to work, and to make good choices, the rewards can be nearly limitless. And yet, there seems to be a near prevailing opinion that the rights of the individual come secondary to the dictates of the government. That the government is simply better equipped to make for us the tough decisions that we are all forced to make every day.

If there is to be any hope of us being able to save our country, it’s going to take all of us, every single one of us, working together and all doing what we know in our heart is the right thing to do. But, frankly, I’m just not sure that enough of us are up to the task. Especially when we have politicians who seem quite determined, and who have achieved much success, in their effort to keep us all fighting with one another, instead of against them. Only time will tell I suppose, but it’s very obvious that we’re running out of time.

COME ON PEOPLE, WHAT ARE OUR PRIORITIES???

Now as difficult as this may be for some to believe, there are, in fact, far more important issues in far more urgent need of being discussed than are repercussions that an owner of an NBA team should be made to face for making what, everyone agrees, were ignorant comments. And I’m quite sure that many in our state-controlled media would much prefer that we discuss the latter and ignore the former. But we simply cannot continue to fall for what are nothing more than those things meant to distract us away from issues that are truly important.

One of those more important issues that should be at the forefront of our discussions has to do with the fact that the real median income of American men who work full-time, year-round peaked over forty years ago in 1973. In 1973, median earnings for men who worked full-time, year-round were $51,670 in inflation-adjusted 2012 dollars. The median earnings of men who work full-time year-round have never been that high again. And what you may ask has Barry "Almighty" done to perhaps correct this? Absolutely nothing!

Because as recently as 2012, the latest year for which the Census Bureau has published an estimate, the real median earnings of men who worked full-time, year-round was $49,398. That was $2,272, or about 4.4 percent, below the peak median earnings of $51,670 in 1973. In 1960, the earliest year for which the Census Bureau has published this data, the median earnings for men who worked full-time, year-round were $36,420 in 2012 dollars. Between 1960 and 1973 that increased $15,250, or about 41.9 percent.

Now by comparison, the real median earnings of American women who work full-time year-round peaked in 2007, when women who worked full-time earned $38,872 in constant 2012 dollars. From 1960 through 2007, the real income of American women who work full-time increased $16,774 or about 76 percent. From 2007 to 2012, the real earnings of women who work full-time declined $1,081, or about 2.8 percent. One item that might also be worth mentioning here is that the steepest portion of the decline took place since 2009.

And in what is yet another issue that I would think take priority over the plight of some owner of a sports franchise would be the fact that in 20 percent of American families in 2013, and according to new data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), not one member of the family worked. In 2013, there were 80,445,000 families in the United States and in 16,127,000 of those families, or 20 percent, not one person had a job. And no one held jobs either because they were unemployed or no longer in the labor force.

I guess the point I’m trying to make here is that between missing airliners, mud slides and now some ignorant comments from a billionaire owner of a basketball team, we seem to be far too easily distracted away from those issues that would have a far bigger impact on us than whether or not this boob is a racist. And as I have asked before, would we even be talking about this if the guy in questions was black and he was talking about whites. Somehow I doubt it. So why are we talking about it now? Does it rise to level of our $17 Trillion debt? I just don’t think so!

ISN’T IT A SHAME…

Isn’t it a shame what we’ve allowed to be done to our country? I sometimes wonder if we’ve lasted as long as the Founders’ thought we would, or perhaps not quite as long as they had hoped. But either way, I’m quite sure if they were able to see what it is that we have done with their legacy, they’d be more than a little disappointed. But probably not very surprised.

Because who it is, what people, other than we Americans, and at any other time in human history, who has ever been provided with something so special, so unique, so incredible, as that which was provided to us? And yet, look at what we have done to what was arguably the greatest gift ever bestowed upon any people. And with nary a moment’s hesitation.

What was given to us was something that was so near to being perfect that it has never been repeated since. And yet somehow we thought we would improve upon it, somehow transform it into something that would be better than the original. But all we’ve really succeeded in doing is to reduce it to something that is today a mere shadow of its former self.

And it would appear that we are not yet finished. We seem to be quite consumed, even possessed, by some perverted desire to relinquish all of our freedom. We seem to be hellbent in our effort to make sure that for future generations the entire concept of freedom will be totally unfamiliar. For those who come after us, the sense of what it means to ‘be’ free will be complete foreign.

And while I suppose we can deny having any responsibility, claiming that it really wasn’t ‘We the People’ who can said to be in anyway at fault, but instead our corrupt leaders, who was it, if it wasn’t us, who put those people into their positions? And yet when we do recognize what it is that they are doing and that they are up to no good, do we try to stop them?

No, we continue to reelect them time after time, because they say if we do there just might be something in it for us. Oh, there has been something in it for us, all right. But nothing that resembles anything that we might have been expecting. We have continued to willingly forfeit more and more of our liberty, and in exchange for what, exactly? Sadly, we’ve come pretty cheaply.

All it has ever taken for us to hand over more of our freedoms, is to be told by our overseers that they’ll take care of us. They’ll make all of those pesky decisions about how we live our lives so we don’t have to be bothered with such trivial things. And now here we sit. In the age of Obama, that time which some might call the culmination of all that has come before it.

Our country, that once proud and noble nation, once looked upon as being the shining city on the hill, has now been made destitute. Those traits once possessed by men and women who were proud to referred to themselves as being American, have been long forgotten. Once upon a time we looked forward to a hard day’s work, these days we’d rather do anything than work.

So the fact that our country has been allowed to waste away is no one’s fault but ours, We the People. We have done this to ourselves and I fear there is very little chance that, even if we wanted to, we’d have much chance of ever returning America to her former greatness. It’s all such a tragedy. At this point in time I’m afraid we can only imagine what might have been.

THESE DAYS, WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ‘AMERICAN’???

With each passing day I’m forced to watch a little more of my freedom being chipped away. And while I take great offense to that, many, if not most, of those who I am surrounded by on a daily basis seem to see nothing whatsoever wrong with that. Now whether that’s because they’re completely oblivious to what’s being made to take place or they’re simply indifferent to the fact that they are slowly becoming less free, that I haven’t been able to quite figure out yet. And I’m not sure they care.

But what I do know, and with some certainty, is that a majority of them voted for Barry, and most seem to be very excited about the thought of Hitlery ‘The Bitch of Benghazi’ Clinton running for president. And I guess what really strikes me as being rather curious is that they all have kids. Granted, I can see where the minorities are coming from, if Hitlery were to get elected any chance of their gravy-train being derailed would be much less than if, say, a Ted Cruz were to get elected.

As I think back, I remember there being quite a few us in 2008 who, upon hearing how it was that Barry declared that America was need of a ‘fundamental transformation’, kind of chuckled because we were under the impression that America couldn’t be so transformed. Well, as it turns out the laugh is on us, because Americans, as it turned out, were only too happy to allow themselves to be molded into something that’s more European-like, wanting to work less and play more.

But maybe my referring to millions of folks who live in the country as Americans is where I’m going wrong. Because while many of those I come into contact with every day say they’re Americans, it comes across as meaning not much more than if they were to say that they’re a truck driver. It’s just a label. And because they possess no real love of country, it matters very little to them whether or not the country survives. And if they don’t care whether it survives, they’ll vote for Democrats.

Try as I might, I’m not optimistic about the future of my country. And as much as I would like to blame the politicians, sadly most of the blame lies squarely with we the people. The next two elections will tell us great deal about whether we are Americans or are if we are nothing more than a collection of people who, as it just so happens, reside in this place called America. There is a difference, ya know. And while I’m pretty sure I know how this story ends, I keep hoping I’m wrong.

WE ARE THE CAVALRY…

I know that I’ve said, and on any number of occasions, that I think things are pretty much over, that the fat lady has begun the last chorus and it’s now all now just a matter of time before Barry, having been successful in his attempt to "fundamentally transform" America, will be out doing his victory lap. But, and this may not make much sense to many, I keep hoping, even praying, that enough of the American people will wake up in the nick of time and we can avert what I know is now be headed our way.

Now that’s not to say that we’re going to be left with enough time to fix things, only that we might just have enough time to go into full damage control mode and prevent that which Barry and the Democrats have been so determined to bring about. That being, of course, a complete economic and financial meltdown. But even if we are provided with such an opportunity, the salvaging of what’s left of our country is going to be far from a painless experience. This is, in fact, gonna hurt, and hurt a lot.

The focus of our salvage effort should be the coming election, this November. And we must formulate it into a two pronged attack. First of all, we need to focus on getting rid of every single Democrat that we can. Secondly we need to force incumbent Republicans, who refuse to join in our little salvage mission, into primary races against those candidates who possess strong conservative credentials. And if the incumbents come out on top, we must then energetically support, and not simply abandon, them.

Everything, and I do mean everything, hinges on the level of success that we are able to attain for ourselves this coming November. Now is not yet the time to even begin talking about 2016, despite the state-controlled media’s best efforts to get us to do so. The focal point of our efforts must be the midterm elections, because if we are unsuccessful in achieving at least some level of success, 2016 becomes a moot point. Winning control of Congress must be viewed as being our primary objective.

And while I have also been one of the louder voices calling for the impeachment of Barry, I think that if we are successful in our attempt to gain control of both houses, such an action would only serve to squander the victory. I think it would be very counter-productive when there are so many other issues that will, by then, be in urgent need of attention. We should not waste any of the time that we may have left on Barry. But that’s not to say that we do not need to work on limiting any further damage.

So I think it fair to say that the countdown has now officially begun. We know what needs to be done, and from here on out we need to be very methodical and systematic when it comes to determining the best course for achieving our desired goal. That being, of course, the neutering of Barry, in the political sense of course. We must be united and we must speak with one voice. We must not be afraid to defend our point of view and we must not back down when being challenged by the opposition.

And there will be little or no time to make up for lost opportunities and we must be ready to strike whatever there is a misstep by our opposition. We must have a Plan A, B and C always at the ready because everything will be riding on what we are able to make happen on November 4, 2014. Mark it on your calendar as D Day. The day we will all stand together against those forces who wish to destroy our country as we fight to keep that which was handed down to us for safekeeping. And we must never forget about the future generations who are counting on us to succeed.

OUR GOVERNMENT IS WILDLY OUT OF CONTROL…

I would think that it would be difficult, if not completely impossible, for any rational person to look at our government today and not be able to recognize almost instantaneously that it is spinning wildly out of control.  And those of us who are fortunate to still have a job seem to be the only ones who really care that such an event is taking place. Because it seems that the millions of our fellow countrymen who find themselves on the receiving end of a growing number of government giveaway programs couldn’t care less. But what these parasites fail recognize is the fact that with nearly each passing day there are becoming fewer and fewer of us working Americans left who can be forced to hand over to the government more and more of what it is that WE work for.

One thing that recently ticked me off was the fact that some dingbat U.S. District Court Judge down here in Florida ruled it unconstitutional for those on welfare to undergo drug tasting as a prerequisite for they’re being able to receive benefits. Now how does that in any way make sense except. I guess, to the twisted liberal mind of this activist judge? Because as a condition of my current employment and, before that, over the course of a 24 year career in the Navy, I was REQUIRED, to take drug tests. Additionally, it has also been determined by previous jurists, also in the very activist mold, that those collecting welfare benefits cannot be made to perform any task in exchange for the benefits that they receive. That’s deemed to be something seen as demeaning. Go figure.

So in their continuing effort to keep their little gravy train firmly on the tracks and completely free of requirements such as random drug tests and being made to work, these parasites vote for those who they view as looking out for them. And in so dong they demonstrate, and very clearly so, that they care very little about those of us who work hard everyday, and have our own families to provide for, are becoming less able to do just that. And that would be because we are now being forced to hand over to the government an increasingly larger share of our money in the form of escalating taxes to cover the cost of these growing entitlement programs. It seems that the only thing these people truly care about is getting as much as they can for as little as possible in return.

And as much as these parasites might wish it could be so, it simply isn’t realistic to expect that things can go on in the manner in which they have now become accustomed to for very much longer. Let’s face it, there comes a time in everyone’s life when we need to stop running around with our hand out and to grow up and learn how to properly take care of ourselves. Our country is now perilously close to imploding and I would argue that it’s our parasite class to can said to hold a substantial share of the blame for that. Somehow they must be made to understand that those they have been voting for, for years, are now on the verge of bringing everything to s screeching halt. And when that finally happens their days of riding the gravy train will officially be over.

WE’RE LOSING OUR COUNTRY…

As someone who has loved my country for as long as I can remember, I get somewhat offended, even angry, when I hear someone who may not have even been born here, say that it is now in need of some sort of "fundamental transformation?" A transformation from what and into what? Well over the course of the last 5 years the answer to that question as become fairly obvious. Our nation is now well on its way to being transformed from a freedom loving nation, populated by those with individual with certain inalienable rights that have been bestowed upon them by God, and into something becoming totally unrecognizable for those of us that have been around awhile.

Because, slowly but surely we are becoming a nation where the individual is only able to enjoy those ‘rights’ that the government has determined that one is worthy of. And keep in mind also, if the government comes to assume itself to be the guarantor of our rights, how far are we from that point in time when the government will be claiming that it is able to dictate that you know longer possess certain rights. Suppose that, because of something you said, maybe even something quite trivial, you find a ‘representative’ from the government on your doorstep, and is there to inform you that you no longer have the right to your freedom of speech. Think that’s not possible? Better think again.

But there’s no arguing the point that what has transpired here is something that we’ve managed to bring upon ourselves and all by ourselves. And nearly every time we’ve been provided with the opportunity to correct past mistakes, we’ve chosen not to. Now granted, we can blame the politicians who we can say lied to us. But we’re the ones who were only too happy to believe what we’re being told without expending the slightest amount of energy to investigate whether or not we’re being told the truth. After all, "Who’s the more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" And we’re talking about important issues and yet we’re unwilling to research the truth. How sad is that?

Think about it, we now find ourselves in a place where the government can ‘force’ us to spend our money to purchase health insurance. Have any of those who actually seem to be in favor of this fiasco, given any thought to all that might go along with that. I mean how far are we from the government being able to tell us what we can eat and what we can’t, backing that up with a threat to take our health insurance away? We have now granted the government more control over our individual lives then ever before in our history. And the encroachment continues day, after day, after. As a matter of fact, as of today, January 1, the government has also now banned the incandescent light bulb.

When, if ever, will the American people finally reach that point beyond which they will go no further? My hopes that such an event will ever take place dwindle a bit more with each passing day. And for the life of me, I can’t figure out why so many Americans are willing to go along with what is so obviously robbing them of their freedom and with so few complaints. Is it that many of us no longer wish to deal with the riggers of daily life and are only too happy to allow someone else, even the government, manage our lives for us? Or, is it that we have now grown so accustomed to receiving our monthly check that we mind very little if we’re required to give up a little freedom in exchange.
