AS THE WORLD BURNS, JOHN KERRY-HEINZ PREACHES…‘CLIMATE-CHANGE’???

According to our bonehead of an idiotic secretary of state, John Kerry-Heinz, the greatest challenge that the world faces today is not from groups like this murdering gang of thugs, ISIS, or the terrorist group Hama that seeks nothing less than to wipe Israel off the map. Nope, what John Kerry-Heinz claims as being the gravest threat now faced by the human race is none other than the global impact of climate change. And for him to make such a blatantly idiotic declaration makes it all the more obvious that he has absolutely no business being in his current position.

It was just yesterday that Kerry-Heinz was heard telling an audience in Hawaii about what he sees as being "the biggest challenge of all that we face right now." He chose to put this issue that he claims to feel so passionately about at the center of a speech entitled "U.S. Vision for Asia-Pacific Engagement." This moron went on to claim, "The science is screaming at us." He said, "Ask any kid in school. They understand what a greenhouse is, how it works, why we call it the greenhouse effect. They get it." No they don’t, they’re the end product of a massive brainwashing scheme.

Because the kids to whom this imbecilic old jackass refers are nothing if not the product of a public school system that, these days, does little more than to subject our kids to what has become a very thorough, and nearly prefect, method of brainwashing. Kerry-Heinz went on to say, "If you accept that the science is causing climate to change, you have to heed what those same scientists are telling us about how you prevent the inevitable consequences and impacts." But to actually accept the science is admit that your are either nothing more than very gullible or quite naïve.

Kerry-Heinz continued by saying, "That’s why President Obama has made climate change a top priority. He’s doing by executive authority what we’re not able to get the Congress to do." Kerry-Heinz went on to declare that ‘climate change’ is not some future crisis. He spewed that which has become the standard mantra for those on left, saying, "Climate change is here now. It’s happening, happening all over the world. It’s not a challenge that’s somehow remote and that people can’t grab onto." Actually it’s not, at least not for the last 15 years, or so.

And yet in what was obviously nothing more than an attempt to convince those listening that his outrageous claims are an accurate predictor of things to come, Kerry-Heinz cited what he called "unprecedented storms, unprecedented typhoons, unprecedented hurricanes, unprecedented droughts, unprecedented fires, major damage, billions and billions of dollars of damage being done that we’re paying for instead of investing those billions of dollars in avoiding this in the first place." But as is usually the case, he had precious little actual proof to back up any of his claims.

This the most recent attempt by Kerry-Heinz to sell the myth of ‘climate change’ was given at the  East-West Center, a Honolulu-based think tank, and came at the end of yet another trip to Asia. Kerry-Heinz used it to give an assurance that Barry’s touted "pivot" – or as the administration prefers to call it, "rebalance" – to Asia has not been moved to the back-burner because of pressing crises in the Middle East and elsewhere. By all means, the fact that the Middle East is now in flames and Israel is being threatened with extinction is a trivial matter when compared to sucking up to Red China.

Kerry-Heinz highlighted ‘climate change’ as being a key area where the U.S. and Red China can supposedly work together. Such cooperation on shared challenges, he said, was critical to building a constructive relationship between the two powers, which would in turn contribute to peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific. "No two nations can have a greater impact or influence on this debate or this challenge than China and the United States," he said. You gotta know that the Red Chinese were laughing their asses off as soon as this boob left the room.

Kerry-Heinz said, "The world’s two largest greenhouse gas emitters, the United States and China, are committed to advancing a low-carbon economic growth pattern and significantly reduce our countries’ greenhouse gases." He outlined several decisions taken during the Beijing talks, including the adoption of stronger vehicle fuel efficiency standards and work on carbon capture, utilization and storage projects. Just how stupid is he? The Red Chinese continue building up their military and we’re talking to them about stronger vehicle fuel efficiency standards? Really?

Kerry-Heinz said, "We’re advancing a new initiative on climate change and forests, because we know that the threat of deforestation and its implications of a changing climate are real and they’re grave and they’re growing." He added, "And I’ll just say to you this is not an issue on which you can be half-pregnant. No such issue. If you accept the science, you have to accept that you have to do these things about it." Just how stupidly naïve can one adult be? It makes you wonder how someone so stupid could actually make it to the ripe old age that he has. It’s amazing!

So I think by this time it should now be painfully obvious, at least to anyone who has been paying attention to this moron, that John Kerry-Heinz is simply in way over his head. And that he, like she who came before him, simply does not possess the necessary skillset to adequately perform the job at hand. And that is made all the more clear by the deteriorating condition of the world in general that has essentially accelerated since this reincarnation of Neville Chamberlain first came on the job. So instead of addressing truly important issues, he chooses, instead, to run around talking about ‘climate change’.

OBAMA, WITH A LITTLE HELP, IS SPENDING US INTO OBLIVION…

It was on the last day of July, and sadly with the with the Republican-controlled House of Representatives acting as his willing accomplice, that Barry "Almighty" committed what can only be described as act of gross, and yet very purposeful, fiscal mismanagement. And his action also equated to what was a crime against the future of our children. You see, it was on that day, that the federal debt hit $17,687,136,723,410.59. That is an increase of roughly $7 Trillion just since Barry first took office on Jan. 20, 2009.

That $17,687,136,723,410.59 in debt works out to be approximately $171,575 for each of our 103,087,000 remaining ‘full-time’ year-round workers that the Census Bureau says were still here in the United States as of 2012. And that counts the 16,606,000 full-time year-round workers who took their paychecks from the government, rather than working for themselves or for some private organization. So each of us who, by the grace of God, are still lucky enough to have a full-time job, are forced to walk around with this additional weight on our shoulders.

The $7,060,259,674,497.51 that Barry helped add to the federal debt between his first inauguration and the last day of July works out to be about $68,488 for each full-time year-round worker in the country as of 2012. And you have to ask yourself just how many of those full-time workers might have gone out and borrowed an additional $68,488 in their own names since Barry first took office. Somehow I doubt very many, unless it was to, perhaps, take out a mortgage on a house they are now already paying down.

Barry has never bothered to offer up any sort of a plan of how he would go about paying down the federal debt, or bring the federal budget into balance. And that would only be because he has little or no interest in doing either. His only plan, you see, is to find out just how much further he can put this country into debt. Now it was shortly before the new debt under Barry streaked past the $7 Trillion mark, that the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its latest long-term budget outlook. And it painted a rather grim picture of things to come.

You see it is now according to the CBO that if current laws are not changed in just 25 years from now the federal government will be spending 6.3 percent of the gross domestic product on Social Security alone. That same year, it will spend 4.6 percent of GDP on Medicare, 3.4 percent on Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program and Obamacare subsidies, and 4.7 percent on net interest on the federal debt. Together, federal spending on just Social Security, the major health programs (Medicare, Medicaid, Chips and Obamacare), and interest on the debt will equal 19 percent of GDP.

And all that will be before the federal government will spend its first penny on such things as food stamps, public housing, the Department of Education or the Environmental Protection Agency, all of which will most assuredly be far more costly that today. It is also before the federal government spends a penny on national defense or the State Department, which carry out its core constitutional responsibilities. And it is before the federal government spends a penny to staff and maintain the judiciary and legislative branches.

When you add the 6.4 percent of GDP in deficit spending that the CBO estimates the federal government will undertake in 2039 to the 19 percent the federal government will spend solely on Social Security, federal health programs and interest on existing debt, that equals 25.4 percent of GDP. Similarly, when you add up all federal spending that the CBO estimates will take place in 2039 it equals 25.9 percent of GDP. Am I the only one who finds that as being not only an act of complete fiscal recklessness, but also of pure insanity?

The White House Office of Management and Budget maintains an historical table that lists federal tax revenues and spending as percentages of GDP for each year from 1930 through 2013. It shows that in that 84-year span there was only one year when revenue went as high as 20 percent of GDP. That was 1944, at the height of World War II. In 1943, 1944 and 1945, during the war, federal spending ran at 42.6 percent, 42.7 percent and 41.0 percent of GDP. Since then, it has never exceeded 25 percent, and has averaged 19.3 percent.

In order for the federal government to be able to balance the budget at 25 percent of GDP, will require future generations, or whatever percentage still required to do so, to pay taxes at levels never before experienced in this country. And also, for the federal government to maintain the current welfare state without balancing the budget would require accumulating levels of debt unprecedented in American history. According to the CBO, "With deficits as big as the ones that CBO projects, federal debt would be growing faster than GDP, a path that would ultimately be unsustainable."

The CBO said, "How long the nation could sustain such growth in federal debt is impossible to predict with any confidence." It went on to say, "At some point, investors would begin to doubt the government's willingness or ability to pay its debt obligations, which would require the government to pay much higher interests costs to borrow money." It added, "If a fiscal crisis were to occur in the United States, policymakers would have only limited — and unattractive, options for responding." So why must we push things to the absolute spending limit?

And as the CBO explains it, "In particular government would need to undertake some combination of three approaches: restructure the debt (that is, seek to modify the contractual terms of existing obligations), pursue an inflationary monetary policy, and adopt an austerity program of spending cuts and tax increases. The bottom line here is that, sooner or later, we will need to reel in our ballooning welfare state. And it would much better if we were to begin that process now and not after the fiscal implosion, that we all know is coming, finally arrives.

HEY, HERE’S A CRAZY IDEA…

It was just siting around thinking the other day when I came up with an idea. Albeit a crazy idea, but an idea nonetheless. What say we put the theory now being advocated by the left in this country, which has at its core the Democrat Party, to the test? That we just keep printing and spending money just as fast as we can. And that beginning this November, and for as long as the country might last, we all vote for no one but Democrats. In every local, state and federal election we vote for only those with a (D) after their name.

Now I suppose that to some at least, such an idea may seem to be a bit drastic, even extreme. But to that I would argue that we’re not all that far from such a scenario right now as we continue to have many ‘Establishment Republicans’ who routinely choose to side with the Democrats on any number of wide ranging issues. So what say we simply do away with all the half-measure crap and just go balls-to-the-walls broke by choosing to elect only Democrats. I mean how much worse would we be making things.

For motivation let’s look back at Barry’s first two years in office. What exactly was it that was accomplished in that time during which we not only had a Democrat in the White House, but Democrats also held substantial majorities in both Houses of Congress. Was the economy made any stronger? Was there a significant number of people who were able to go back to work? Was anything done to address, what has been called by many, our broken immigration system? Was our border made more secure?

Of course the answer to all of those questions would be a very resounding NO! So let’s take a look back at what it was that the Democrats found so important that it demanded that they spend nearly every waking moment on it during what was nearly an entire two year period. Let’s see, what might that have been that they were so focused on? What was it that could have seen as being so important and that would literally demand all of their time be spent on it?

Oh wait a minute, it all comes back to me now! What the Democrats spent so much time on was, Obamacare. And hasn’t that worked out so well especially after they spent so much time working on it? But we shouldn’t really be surprised because it was in how the Democrats chose to approach the creating, and implementation, of Obamacare that’s how they approach everything that they do. You see, it is far more important to create something than it is to make sure that it will actually work as you say it will.

So what’s everybody thinking? Should we now take the big plunge and flood public offices at every level with liberal Democrats? I’m mean, how much worse could things become than they are already? We’re $17 Trillion in debt, real unemployment is somewhere in the double digits, we’re paying more with each trip to the grocery store and we pay more each month just to be able to heat or cool our homes. And when you add the fact that, these days, America is now viewed by many in the world as being little more than a joke, how much lower can we really go?

WE MUST RETURN TO WHAT MADE THIS NATION GREAT…

Whatever the remaining number may be of those Americans who still possess at least some level of love for their country, we who proudly count ourselves as being among them are very rapidly running out of time to, first convince others to join our cause and, second to then marshal our forces together in an effort to get things back under some semblance of control. And all before we slam headlong into what is the rapidly approaching deck.

So it’s imperative that we recognize that the clock is now ticking and unfortunately, time is most definitely not on our side, because we have delayed acting for too long. But that does not mean that just because we have not acted in the past that we should choose not to act now and simply raise the white flag of surrender. To my way of thinking, we have just a little over two years left to get enough people onboard willing to play an active role in the rescuing of America.

Because if we are unable to convince enough people that our mission in an important one and to therefore join with us, then by the time the 2016 election rolls around there will likely be very little hope in our being able to prevent this current socialist juggernaut from continuing well into the future. And make no mistake, there is little doubt that we will be met with the stiffest of opposition as we work to reverse at least some of what has been done.

I think it goes without saying that the Democrats are already quite confident in that they think that they have already won the battle for the soul of America, you can see it in the smug looks on their faces. And while it would appear that they may lose some level of power come this November, they view it as being nothing more than a minor setback, confident in that they will be able to convince enough folks to restore to them to full power come the next election.

Look, for whatever reason many us choose to sit idly by for decades while the Democrats were busily working behind the scene to construct their "Ameritopia". And our nation is now barely recognizable. Our Constitution lies in tatters, our government is now officially out of control and we lose more of our freedoms nearly every day. Those great men who first breathed life into this one great republic would, most likely, no longer recognize what we have become.

So if we wish to have any hope of being able to salvage what little there is left of our country then we simply cannot allow things to continue as they have. We must be focused on our efforts to take control of Congress come this November and then ensure that those we place in power work to develop and institute a plan that will make it clear to a majority of Americans that there is a better way. By returning to our founding principles, life will be made better for ALL.

WHAT ECONOMIC RECOVERY???

Apparently it’s more than a few mayors from at least some of our nation’s cities most, if not all, of whom are members of Barry’s own party, who have how offered up some pretty harsh criticism of Barry and his claims regarding our supposedly improving economy. As they are made to preside over the harsh reality in their individual cities, they appear of be less than thrilled with Barry’s continuing claim that it has been under his leadership that an economic recovery has now taken place.

But the sad truth of the matter is that job losses and wage decreases continue to mar our economy in the years since the recession. And it’s a new report offered by this group of mayors that says despite Barry's continuing insistence that he has presided over an economic recovery, no recovery has actually taken place, that things have not, as Barry has repeatedly said, improved. But I doubt very much that most folks would need some report to point out to them that Barry’s claim regarding an economic recovery are nothing more than a sham.

But still, it’s according to a new report by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, that wages across a range of industries for new urban jobs have decreased by 23 percent just since 2008. Specifically, the report said that new jobs in the hospitality and healthcare industries, for example, pay significantly less than the jobs lost in manufacturing and construction. But Barry isn’t one to differentiate between different kinds of jobs. To Barry a job is a job, it matters very little what it might pay, at least it’s a job.

According to a summary of the report, "This wage gap of 23 percent is significantly larger than that of the earlier recession and recovery (2000-2006), and implies $93 billion in lower wage income," The wage decrease in the 2000-06 period was 12 percent, the report said. The report's claims by allies of the president conflict with Barry's own message on the campaign trail that the economy has almost fully recovered during his tenure. We have heard one lie after another about how because of the measures Barry has taken, our economy is now strong and vibrant.

In fact, Barry told supporters at rally back on July 30, "America has recovered faster and come farther than just about any other advanced country on Earth." And he went on to declare, "For the first time in more than a decade, if you ask business leaders around the world what's the No. 1 place to invest, they don't say China anymore. They say the United States of America. And our lead is growing." Barry went on to say, "So sometimes you wouldn’t know it if you were watching the news, but there are a lot of good reasons to be optimistic about America."

And might it be that all of the demands now being made by Barry and many of his fellow Democrats to raise the minimum wage to unrealistic levels have much to do with the fact that today’s jobs pay so much less than the jobs that were made to disappear. But how little economic sense does it really make to pay a fast food worker the same amount that one used to make as construction worker? And yet this is what Barry and the Democrats are essentially proposing. There is a better way, and step one is to remove Democrats from power.

OBAMA…THE ALBATROSS AROUND THE NECK OF DEMOCRATS???

As the midterm elections inch ever closer it would seem that each passing day brings with it additional evidence that Barry, the very one whom we were all told was the one we had been waiting for, is now turning out to be little more than an albatross around the collective neck of those congressional Democrats seeking to be elected, or re-elected, in a mere 84 days. Now granted, politics is a highly uncertain science, to say the least, but as things appear to be right now, I wouldn’t want to be a Democrat seeking higher office.

Anyway, the most recent indicator of the possible impending electoral doom that awaits the Democrats comes to us in the form of yet another new poll. It’s one that at least would seem to indicate that Barry "Almighty’s’ rather anemic approval numbers may be having what can only be called an adverse effect on the chances of congressional Democrats of, not only, being able to maintain their current numbers, but also to even be able to minimize their losses, in the rapidly approaching midterm elections.

It is according to a McClatchy-Marist poll conducted Aug. 4 of 1,035 adults, that 42 percent of voters now say that their negative views of Barry make them more likely to vote for a Republican come this November instead of for a Democrat. The poll also found that, for the first time during this election cycle, more people said they would vote for a Republican than said they would vote for a Democrat for Congress, at 43 percent compared to 38 percent. And the preference for Republicans holds across regions and gender.

Barry's job approval rating is hovering at a near historic low for the poll of 40 percent, making it comparable to other polls in recent weeks. The results of the survey mark a significant divergence from voters' opinions earlier in the year. In December, the survey found that voters were evenly split in their support for the two major parties, while in February, a majority favored the Democrats by a margin of 2 percent. In April, the public favored Democrats by 6 percent at 48 percent to 42 percent, the poll noted.

Independents appear to have the most influence on the shifting numbers, offering a 12-point margin of support for Republicans over Democrats, the poll found. Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist Institute for Public Opinion said, "More people see themselves as independents, and those people seem to have bailed on Obama." The majority of those who tend to prefer going by the moniker of Independent usually tend to lean leftward on most issues, so the fact that there appears to be such a margin could be considered as being somewhat of a key indicator.

Democratic candidates, meanwhile, appear to be aware of the negative effect of Barry's approval rating is having on their chances, and are therefore working very hard to portray themselves as being something other than what they are. They do so by increasingly choosing to focus on those issues that traditionally belong to the GOP. Specifically, we find many Democrats now discussing issues such as balancing the budget, tax cuts, and border security in their advertising, without ever bothering to mention what their party affiliation is.

Liesl Hickey, the NRCC's executive director in an interview with Politico said, "It's pretty clear why Democrats would charade as Republicans in districts coast to coast — on every big issue, voters prefer Republicans to Democrats." He added, "But by portraying themselves as something they are not, these Democrats are playing a dangerous game that is destined to backfire with voters." Personally I’m not all that sure most voters are even smart enough to pick up on what the Democrats are doing.

But lets’ face it, it’s only by lying outright or by pretending to be something that they most definitely are not, that is the only way Democrats can ever win. Democrats have now raised deception to something that can now safely be considered an art form. And then it always after the fact that they claim to have been provided with some sort of mandate by the voters, regardless of the fact that it was gained under false pretenses. And until enough people start throwing the bullshit flag not much is going to change.

And while the Republicans may come to control Congress, their majority will no doubt be rather short lived if they fail to demonstrate that they are up to the many challenges that lie ahead. And it must be considered a given that the Democrat minority will behave in a far more aggressive manner than has our impotent Republican minority. So I hope that a plan is already being devised that will allow any trouble created by the Democrats to be effectively dealt with. If not, then come 2017 we’ll likely end up right back where we were in 2009, if you get my drift.

THE 2014 ELECTION…ACCORDING TO JUAN WILLIAMS…

I can only guess Juan Williams must view himself as being some sort of political Nostradamus, but the reality of it is that he’s actually someone who bears a much closer resemblance to what might be a political equivalent of The Great Carnac. And if we’re being honest here, he’s someone who has very little credibility when discussing just about anything that falls under the topic of politics if for no other reason that because he’s another one those who views those in the Tea Party as racist. Because according to Williams, the only reason one can have for opposing Barry is because he’s black. Not because he’s a socialist,

But anyway, as the midterm elections rapidly approach, Williams makes the claim that there are three key trends that we should all keep an eye on. The first of those three key things is public opinion, along with what Williams refers to as the "civil war" within the Republican Party, and the finally, Democrat efforts to stop what he calls GOP gerrymandering. Now in his choosing to make a reference to GOP gerrymandering he makes it very clear that he has truly slipped a proverbial cog. Because if it’s anyone who can be said to be guilty of gerrymandering, it would Juan’s very own Democrat Party.

Williams made his case in what was described as being an ‘opinion piece that appeared in The Hill, just today. He wrote that there are many races across the country, but what he sees as being the key race is the one in Louisiana between Democrat incumbent Sen. Mary Landrieu and her Republican challenger, Rep. Bill Cassidy. He also made mention of the "relatively minor" third candidate, Rob Maness, who is favored by Tea Party supporters and who could affect the vote because in Louisiana, a candidate must have more than 50 percent of the vote to win, and polls predict a likely runoff between Landrieu and Cassidy.

But, Williams said, there are also many races the outcome of which could be dependent upon the "mystery factor" of an unprecedented level of public disapproval. And in so doing he pointed to a Washington Post poll that shows most Americans disapprove of their state's representation. Williams writes, in addition, nearly 80 percent of Americans are dissatisfied with the whole political system, and then adds, almost gleefully, that polls are putting "the Republican brand in Congress at an unprecedented low." And does that really come as much of surprise when you factor in how it is that our state-controlled media constantly paints the GOP as the enemy?

Williams said that history points to losses for Democrats because the party holding the White House in a second term loses seats, especially when the president has low public ratings, like Barry's. He pointed out that the often-quoted Wall Street Journal/NBC poll released last week showing Barry's disappointment rating at 54 percent also showed that 54 percent of the voters view congressional Republicans negatively. And Williams also made it a point to mention what he referred to as the war inside the GOP as also leading to uncertainty. Williams, and I’m not sure where he gets his information, clamed that Speaker John Boehner is hoping to gain enough seats to bypass the Tea Party-backed 15 or so members who, to use Juan’s words, "undercut his efforts."

On the subject of gerrymandering, Williams tries to make the case that as changes in district maps have solidified the GOP's advantage in the House despite the fact that 1.4 million more voters favored Democrats in the 2012 House elections. Williams made the claim that Democrats do have grounds for optimism on the state level, where Republican governors are becoming unpopular in some states. But I think he overstates the chances regarding the Democrat being able to make any sort of substantive gains in governorships.

According to Williams there are three races at the top of Democrats' wish list. Pennsylvania Republican Gov. Tom Corbett was elected in 2010 as part of a Tea Party wave that also brought a Republican majority in the state legislature. But, again according to Williams, Corbett's policies on education and abortion have proven unpopular with many Pennsylvanians. Apparently such issues are far more important than is the fact that Democrats are working to put many coal miners out of work. But still this one does appear, at least at this point in time, to one that is likely to end up as a win for Democrats.

Florida incumbent Republican Gov. Rick Scott is also in a dead heat with flip-flopper Charlie Crist, his Republican-turned-Independent-turned Democrat predecessor. Scott has come under fire for voter identification law policies and for his own anti-abortion agenda, claimed Williams. Kansas is also a key target, Republican Gov. Sam Brownback fighting off a challenge by Democrat Paul Davis. The polls are bouncing back and forth, and while Brownback follows a Tea Party agenda, other current and former Republican officials have publicly supported Davis.

"Democrats might not be able to keep the GOP from winning back the Senate," Williams concluded. "Their consolation prize just might be winning the governors’ mansions and putting themselves in a strong position heading into the next round of redistricting." But that too might be nothing more than wishful thinking on the part of old Juan, because from some of the polls that I’ve seen, the GOP may yet end up even gaining a couple more governorships. Now granted, the election is still a ways off and I suppose a lot can still change. And I expect that between now and then we will continue to hear from folks like Williams doing their best to downplay that which may experts are declaring is a foregone conclusion.

2014, WHAT MIGHT THINGS LOOK LIKE WHEN THE DUST FINALLY SETTLES???

Well, after five years of "Hope and Change" many Americans are now beginning to take stock not only of where it is that they are in their lives, but as well as in what they perceive to be the direction, right or wrong, that their country might now be headed. And it would appear that most of them now seem to view nearly everything as coming up dandelions instead of coming up roses. And with the midterm elections now essentially right around the corner, I’m not at all sure how that perception of thing will likely come to impact election results.

Because, you see, these days Americans seem to be less than thrilled not only with their politicians, but with the future of the country, the sad state of our economy, and just about everything else. That would be according to many of the nation's pollsters, who say there is very little these days that the public still believes in. Now you would think that since we were told by our current president that he was the ‘one who we had all been waiting for’, that the American people would be much more optimistic about things. But apparently such is not the case.

For instance, according to the Washington Post's polling analyst Scott Clement: "With an 'everything is terrible' mindset, I'm mostly thinking about how after several years of cantankerous and unproductive lawmaking in Washington, there are very few political figures or institutions who the public trusts anymore." But why is it that things have become so unproductive? While there may be enough blame to go around, I would argue that the primary reason is because of the Democrat "my way, or the highway" approach to nearly everything.

The latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll shows Barry "Almighty's" approval ratings are at a record low, while at pretty much the same time there’s a new Gallup Poll that shows confidence in the economy is dropping rather precipitously. And overall, poll ratings for Republicans and Democrats are down, according to a CBS Poll. And the numbers could mean some odd results come this November, with people heading into the midterm elections pessimistic about candidates on both sides of the ballot.

And it was Clement who also said that the nation's lawmakers are no longer getting the benefit of the doubt, and "the public has seen more and more issues where they're just not happy about where things are going and the place they often look to blame is Washington." And it was a Washington Post-ABC News poll that showed that many people even disapprove of the job that their own lawmakers are doing. Usually folks are a bit more willing to give the home folks the benefit of the doubt, but apparently that trend may be changing.

But still while people are dissatisfied, it doesn’t seem to be transferring to primary results, where only few incumbents have lost their bids this year, a fact pointed out by NBC News' Mark Murray. "The one mitigating factor here is that there are so many different reasons for their dissatisfaction," Murray said. "You have Republicans complaining about immigration, Democrats complaining that Congress isn't working with them, Republicans wanting to impeach the president, Democrats blaming Congress, and all of these different complaints don't really measure up to one single unifying message that probably is going to have every member of Congress running for the hills this election season."

Republicans are increasingly dissatisfied, and if voters turn to a "more conservative, third party candidate" that could split the vote, warned Tom Jensen, the director of the liberal Public Policy Polling . My own personal opinion, regarding this splitting of the vote, is that it accomplishes little more than to virtually guarantee a Democrat victory. And if you can sleep at night after aiding a Democrat to win then so be it. In the primaries I vote for the most conservative candidate in the race. In the general election I will vote for the Republican.

It was Murray who also pointed out, "The one mitigating factor here is that there are so many different reasons for their dissatisfaction." And he went on to say, "You have Republicans are complaining about immigration, Democrats complaining that Congress isn't working with them, Republicans wanting to impeach the president, Democrats blaming Congress, and all of these different complaints don't really measure up to one single unifying message that probably is going to have every member of Congress running for the hills this election season."

So what does any of this really mean? Personally, and I am far from being any sort of an expert on such matters, I don’t think anyone really knows other than to say there is a great deal of uncertainty when it comes to trying to determine just what things might look like on the morning of November 5th. And anyone who tells you differently is just blowing smoke. While I feel fairly confident that when the dust settles the Republicans will control Congress, but I worry that they will end up doing little more than to squander yet another opportunity.

OUR ‘MAINSTREAM’ MEDIA IS THE DEFINITION OF…USELESS!!!

If there is one thing that has become painfully clear over the years, and even more so in just the last few years, it’s that, what remains to be hysterically referred to as being, our "mainstream news media", has become anything but ‘mainstream.’ I think most of us are able to look back over the years and recognize that there has always been some level of liberal bias applied to the ‘news’ we regularly receive. I’m not sure when it all began, but even that much revered journalistic icon Walter Cronkite was known to regularly put his own spin on what it was that he reported on to his viewers each and every night. And despite his looking us directly in the eye and telling us night after night, "And that’s the way it is," more often than not that’s NOT the way it was, but how he wanted us all to think it was. We just never thought Walter would lie to us, and yet…he did, and on what was a fairly regular basis.

And it was during the 2008 presidential campaign that our mainstream media sunk to a whole new level by committing what would be it’s most blatant, and fairly obvious, dereliction of duty. To my way of thinking the ‘job’ of the media is to be the guardian of our freedom. And it does that by primarily keeping the American people informed about what it is that those in government may be up to. But in 2008 what they saw as being far more important was to do all that they could to ensure that a black man would be elected. So they made a conscious decision to keep from the American people essential information that may have kept that from taking place. And because of their actions the American people went into the election at a distinct disadvantage. And since those in the media were confident that blacks would vote for the black guy simply because he was black, they focused their efforts on the rest of us.

Now while those who comprise that which is still referred to as, the ‘mainstream media’ may claim that they see no political bias in how they present the ‘news’, it only takes about five minutes of watching any one of their broadcasts to see that there is, most certainly a leftward slant. And actually it goes well beyond simply being biased, it’s now gotten to the point where they spew, and on a very regular basis, what is nothing than pure propaganda. Whether it’s bogus ‘climate change’, the supposed economic recovery, the manipulated unemployment numbers, or any of a growing number of political scandals, those in what has now become our state-controlled media complex can be counted upon to defend this president against his growing number of accusers. Many of those who refer to themselves as journalists are really little more than Barry "Almighty’s" very own personal cheering section.

And there are any number of examples that this behavior continues and makes it abundantly clear that the Big Three networks have now morphed into what is really nothing more than the official propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. They continue with efforts to provide to not only this president, but to his political party as a whole, all manner of political cover. One primary example is how they have consistently steered well clear of labeling the Islamist group ISIS as being "terrorists" on their evening newscasts. Instead, ABC's World News and CBS Evening News labeled the genocidal radicals "militants." NBC Nightly News used the more benign "rebels" in their coverage of the group's latest attacks on the Kurdish part of Iraq. They make sure that their nightly ‘news’ programs are very well sanitized of anything that might be perceived as being critical of this president.

The closest that any of the supposed journalists over there at ABC, CBS, or NBC has actually come to using the "terrorist" label was Scott Pelley's teaser at the very top of a recent CBS Evening News. In his teaser at the top of the show, Pelley said, "Tonight, back in battle: The President orders U.S. warplanes to attack Sunni Muslim extremists in northern Iraq to stop a campaign of terror. But he makes Americans this promise: I will not allow the United States to be dragged into fighting another war in Iraq." While the networks continue to experience what can only be described as being a steady decline in their number of viewers, they still remain the sole source of information for millions of Americans. And it’s because that they are the only game in town for so many, they have the ability to provide an above average amount of influence. And trust me when I say, theirs is far from a ‘bipartisan’ view of things.

I HAVE A DREAM…YES I DO…

After having now been made to endure five years of what can very easily be described as the worst presidency of my lifetime, if not the worst one in the history of this nation, I have to say that my frustration may be getting the better of me. I see my country being destroyed right before my eyes. And while it may sound silly to some, I’m now to the point where I say a little prayer every night, praying for the untimely demise of our blatantly corrupt president. Now I suppose there are some might accuse me of being un-American for doing such a thing, but frankly, I really couldn’t care less. And whether you believe it or not, it’s not personal, it’s just that I hate what he’s doing to MY country.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am not advocating that he be assassinated or anything like that, that’s the last thing I would ever do. Because, for one thing, that would accomplish nothing more than to turn this useless meat-sack into some sort of martyr whose face would likely end up be plastered all over the place where I’d constantly be forced to look at it. No, actually what I’m hoping for is that he quietly pass away in his sleep. But failing that, I must admit that I wouldn’t mind if, with the number of shoulder launched missiles now in the hands of many certifiable crazies, Barry were to, perhaps, stray into the flight path of one while on one of his many useless overseas jaunts. I dare say I wouldn’t be all that disappointed.

Now I realize the chances of such a thing actually occurring are probably pretty remote to say the least. But I can dream, and I do. And I pray. And if it were to actually happen I would among those advocating for there not to be any sort of a retaliation against those who fired the missile, because I think it could be argued that they did us a favor. And as such, it would be cause for celebration. I suppose it’s sad, in a weird sort of way, that I even find myself in such a position. But with there being little evidence that his fellow Democrats appear to be even the slightest bit interested in trying to prevent this president from wreaking further havoc upon this country, I see no other option than to hope my dream would come true.

Now I have to be honest in saying that if anyone had ever told me, even within the last few years, that I would ever find myself praying for such an event to take place, I might have actually been offended. After all, I consider myself to be a patriotic American, I love my country and was proud to spend 24 years of my life in the service of her military. And while I’m sure we all wish we could trust those whom we have elected as our leaders, especially our president, which we obviously no longer can. These days one has to be rather naïve, or more than a bit foolish, or black, to be able to do so. Because you should never find yourself wondering if the individual you are voting for will, if elected, be someone who seeks to destroy your country.

Because if anyone would have ever told me, even as recently as January 20, 2009 that the American people would come to elect, and then re-elect as their president, a man who would come to be so very determined in his efforts to destroy this country and all that it stands for, I simply would not have believed them. But as time has gone by it has become increasingly evident, and nearly with each passing day, that the man we now have sitting in the Oval Office has as being his primary objective the complete destruction of this country. And not just economically, financially, socially and morally, but internationally as well. And, I’m sad to say, he has been quite successful.

JUAN WILLIAMS…JUST ANOTHER DEMOCRAT PARTY MOUTHPIECE…

I’m pretty sure that just about anyone with a brain would have very little trouble when it comes to recognizing, faux journalist, Juan Williams for exactly what he is. Which is, of course, just another one of those rabid anti-America, leftwing nutjobs, who is at the very same time one of the more vocal Obama apologists who, apparently, sees the inner racist hiding within every Republican that he meets. And what I’m also quite sure of is that everyone knows he’s never been the least bit hesitant about taking racial potshots at members of the GOP.

And now, according to old Juan, the Republican Party is in what he calls a "deep racial and political hole" due primarily to its positions on both immigration and its attitudes regarding the impeachment of his buddy Barry. And also according to him, addressing the party's "crisis on race" is now necessary for the party's long-term survival. But the fact of that matter is that Williams is one more in a rather large crowd of blacks who is far more hung up on race than they are worried about the survival of our country.

It was in his opinion piece for The Wall Street Journal that Williams did his best to compare the challenges of today's Republican Party to the Democrats' internal party struggle back in the 1960s when civil rights activists sought representation at party conventions in the face of opposition by white Southerners from their own party. Personally, I don’t see how this comparison of his really makes all much sense. Republicans have always been the party of racial equality while the Democrats have essentially remained the party of slavery.

Williams wrote, "Today the GOP has become a nearly all-white party as the white share of the vote is declining. In 2012, the white share of the total vote was just 72 percent, the lowest in U.S. history. That trend is making the GOP's prospects in national and even statewide elections increasingly bleak." So, I can only guess that what he’s trying to get at here is that the party, if it wishes to win elections into the future, will have to lower its standards in order to attract those voters who might have some weird proclivity to vote for Democrats.

He also made note that in the aftermath of Mitt Romney's defeat, the GOP vowed to analyze its losses in the context of demographics, but the party has since alienated Latino voters with its position on immigration. So I’m guessing that demanding people to simply follow our laws is what alienates Latinos? If you follow that logic, according to this political genius, the only way to appease Latinos would be to simply grant amnesty to all those in this country illegally. Well if that’s the position of Latinos then I’d say they’ve alienated themselves.

Williams acknowledged a recent study that suggested race is not a short-term problem for the GOP's electoral prospects because whites are increasingly loyal to the Republican Party, but he contends that the party must begin to appeal to minorities now if it is to survive over the longer term. Which Democrat outfit conducted that study? Anyway, how exactly does Juan propose that that be done? By embracing the position, currently held by the Democrats, that no longer does anyone need to work, and that we can all just happily live off the government?

Williams wrote, "Long term, as the minority population continues to increase, the GOP risks becoming a political afterthought in elections unless it can improve its appeal to minority voters. Romney won 59 percent of the white vote, close to the high of 63 percent set by Ronald Reagan in 1984, but lost the election." But apart from the many dead, and any number of pets, that might have voted for Barry, the most important issue in this last elections for blacks, was simply to vote for the black guy. And how well has that worked out for them, exactly?

Williams said, "This year Republicans hope higher voter intensity among their white supporters will lead to an overall turnout advantage and compensate for their poor performance with minority voters. But at some point soon the GOP is going to face a version of the 1964 crisis that forced Democrats to become more racially diverse." More racially diverse? What the Hell is he talking about? Democrats bought the black vote, and blacks essentially sold their souls for the price of a government check. And today we find them right where they were 50 years ago.

He concluded by saying, "The sooner the GOP understands this and adjusts accordingly, the sooner it will be seen as a party of the future and not a party of the past." You know, little of what Williams says really makes all that much sense. What keeps blacks from joining the Republican Party is that expectations are a little higher here. We expect folks to be responsible members of society whereas the Democrat Party has no such expectations. Blacks prefer the party of ‘free’ government giveaways with no strings attached.

So Williams can claim all he wants that the reason blacks avoid the Republican Party is all the fault of the party, but the reality is that the fault lies with those to reside in the black community. Because for them what’s most important is the receiving of that ‘benefit’ check, it matters not to them that it comes at the expense of their freedom. Williams misses the point that apparently the ‘need’ to remain a slave, in one form or another, is simply in their blood. All he’s doing is to make excuses for his fellow blacks. It’s all pretty sad.

Blacks have proven tine and again that they are their own worst enemy. And the more time they waste listening to idiots like Williams and ignoring men like Allen West and Tim Scott, to name only two, the more likely it is that they’ll remain right where they are. The choice to make a change lies directly with them and not the Republican Party. We in the GOP will be waiting here to greet them with arms wide open. But we are not going to beg them to join our ranks, they can join us and be part of the solution, or they can continue to be a big part of the problem.

FEW SAY THEY TRUST THE GOVERNMENT…

After five years of watching this guy, Barry "Almighty", in action as well as having kept a watchful eye on the unethical behavior of his Democrat allies in Congress as they continually block each and every piece of legislation they may disagree with, is it really any wonder the public's faith that the government can now be trusted to do what's ‘right’ has hit yet another all-time low? In fact, the level of trust the public now has in their government has now dipped below levels seen even at the height of the Watergate scandal when ‘Tricky Dick’ Nixon was on the verge of being impeached.

According to a CNN poll, a rather questionable source at best, which was conducted July 18-20 of 1,012 adults, just 13 percent of respondents said that they believe the government can be trusted to do what is ‘right’ always or most of the time, while over three-quarters of Americans said it can only be trusted some of the time. Also according to the poll, it was 10 percent who said they never trust the government. Now I must admit, as a tax paying white guy, my reasons for distrusting the government are most likely not the same as those that someone else may possess for distrusting those in government.

But I do think that a contributing factor to why it is that a great many people have now come to say they distrust the government is because very few people, these days, actually possess any real understanding of how it is that our government was designed to work. Many people were never taught about our system of government, or are able to understand, in the first place, the wisdom of having our three supposedly equal branches. Add to that the fact that our system has become so bastardized over the years, especially in this era Barry "Almighty", and it’s no wonder trust in government is at an all-time low.

The release of the poll comes on the eve of the 40th anniversary of Richard Nixon's resignation. At that time, the public's trust in government was much higher than today's, though the scandal, which broke out in 1972, significantly damaged faith in the government. Specifically, in 1972, 53 percent said they trusted the government always or most of the time. By 1974, trust in the government had dropped to 36 percent. Since then, public faith in the government has consistently remained under 50 percent except for a brief period immediately following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Now there is one thing I would call into question about how this poll was conducted. And that is the fact that what one person might perceive as being the ‘right’ thing for the government to do, someone else might see as being the ‘wrong’ thing. For instance, I think that every single American citizen should be made to pay some amount of income tax. I view that as being the ‘right’ thing do. I think it is ‘wrong’ that half of our population is able to completely escape the tax man yet is still able to receive a rather sizeable tax ‘return’ each and every year. And yet I’m quite sure that there are many people view things very differently.

PLENTY OF IMPEACHMENT TALK GOIN’ AROUND…

While there is no doubt that there is plenty of impeachment talk going around on Capitol Hill these days, the Democrats, as well as their many allies in the state-controlled media would like you to believe that the ones doing most, if not all, of the talking are Republicans. But oddly enough such is not the case. Because it would appear that the ones doing the most of the talking about it are congressional Democrats. You see, it’s those folks who have used the words "impeach" or "impeachment" about 20 times more often than Republicans since the start of the 113th Congress last year.

If one was to conduct a close examination of the Congressional Record one would find that the Democrats brought up impeachment 86 times and in the same span of time that it was referenced only four times by Republicans. And it’s everyone’s favorite moron, Sheila Jackson Lee, a Texas Democrat, who was the impeachment speech champ, using the words 18 times in two speeches. The Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee recently reaped $2.1 million with a fund-raising email which threatened, "House Republicans Refuse to Rule Out Impeachment."

It was Speaker Boehner who insisted in a recent speech, "We have no plans to impeach the president. This whole talk about impeachment is coming from Democrats on Capitol Hill. Why? Because they're trying to rally their people to give money and to show up in this year's election." And it was also reported that White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer further stirred the impeachment pot by saying, "It would be foolish to discount the possibility" that the House might move to impeach Barry. Right, and the sun might suddenly go out tomorrow.

In all, 19 House Democrats have used the words "impeach" or "impeachment" during floor talk. They included Nancy "Botox Eats Your Brain" Pelosi, Steny ‘The Gasbag" Hoyer, and James "The Tea Party Is A Bunch Of Racists" Clyburn. Over in the Senate, "Dingy Harry" Reid, has brought it up. Professor Jonathan Turley, George Washington University expert on constitutional law, has said, "This is the constitutional equivalent of a Bigfoot sighting. Nobody is seriously suggesting that impeachment is being pursued by the Republicans."

Now there have been some more prominent Republicans outside of Congress who have brought up the topic of a Barry impeachment. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, a possible Republican presidential contender, has said "there's no doubt" that Barry "has done plenty of things worthy of impeachment." Sarah Palin, the 2008 GOP nominee for vice president, last month called for the president's impeachment. And while it may look good on paper, with the current makeup of Congress, it’s impossible. And Barry, as well as the Democrats, know it.

For those the least bit familiar with history most likely know that the only two U.S. presidents ever to be impeached by the House were Andrew Johnson in 1868 and ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton in 1998, both were Democrats by the way. And both were acquitted in the Senate, where a two-thirds vote is necessary to convict and remove a president from office. The Senate vote on Johnson was just one vote shy of conviction. So while Barry would become the third Democrat to be impeached, despite all the talk about doing so, it’s not something that’s likely to happen.

OBAMACARE…THE NIGHTMARE CONTINUES…

Further proof now comes our way which makes it all the more clear just how much of a complete sham was the entire premise used by the Democrats regarding the claim that there was some critical ‘need’ for establishing something like Obamacare. Because even though the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, required that all Americans obtain health insurance by the beginning of this year or else pay a penalty, a new Gallup survey reveals that over 13% of Americans are still not uninsured.

According to Gallup’s recent survey on the matter, it was found that in Texas 24% of the people still do not have health insurance. In its telephone survey conducted Jan. 2-June 30, 2014, Gallup asked: "Do you have health insurance?" While the percentage of people who are uninsured has apparently declined on a national level, having gone from from 17.3% in 2013 to 13.4% in the second quarter of 2014, according to Gallup there are still many Americans who answered "no," they do not have coverage.

According to Gallup, it was also Texas that had the highest percentage of uninsured at 24. And that was down only slightly from 27% since the individual mandate first went into effect on Jan. 1. In Mississippi, there were 20.6% who said they were uninsured, while it was in Georgia that number was 20.2% who said they had no health insurance. Other states in which there was a high percentage of people who told Gallup they did not have health insurance included:

Florida, 18.9%
Louisiana, 18.4%
Montana, 17.9%
Kansas, 17.6%
Oklahoma, 17.5%
Arizona, 17.2%
South Carolina, 16.8%
North Carolina, 16.7%
Idaho, 16.6%
California, 16.3%
Alaska, 16.2%
Nevada, 16.0%

In Illinois, Barry "Almighty’s" home state, 12.3% of the people do not have health insurance. Under Obamacare, nearly all Americans were required, as of Jan. 1, 2014, to have either kept their existing health insurance, obtained new coverage, received an exemption, or paid a fine every month they did not carry coverage. For those who purchased new coverage, the law says it must have started no later than May 1, 2014. And yet, we still have people who are without healthcare coverage.

Let’s be clear here about something. Getting everyone healthcare coverage and reducing the cost of healthcare in general was not the motivating factor for Democrats to first dream this thing up so they could then pass it essentially in the dark of night using every bit of political trickery in order to do so. The sole motivation behind the creating of this nightmare in the first place was for the Democrats to come up with some way that would provide to them a better means of control for more of the population.

This is another one of those things that confuses me about why a majority of Americans still view the Democrats more favorably than they do Republicans. I mean it’s not the Republicans who are trying to control every aspect of our lives, our utility bills are not now three times higher than they once were because of some Republican war on fossil fuels and more people aren’t now out of work because of some Republican drive to get more people hooked on the government. ALL those issues can be traced right back to the Democrats.

AMERICA’S FATE RESTS IN THE HANDS OF HER PEOPLE…

Well it seems that Barry’s approval rating has now plunged to what is yet another all-time low, as 79 percent of respondents to an Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll said they were less than satisfied with him and the American political system. Now while I’m more than willing to agree with them regarding their opinion of Barry, I’m much more hesitant to agree with them when it comes to being dissatisfied with our political system. The system is working just fine, I think where the problem lies is with their perception of how it’s supposed to work.

According to Democrat pollster Fred Yang of Hart Research, "The American public is telling its elected representatives that the economic distress that a significant proportion of them are feeling is directly their fault." He conducted this most recent poll along with Republican Bill McInturff. Yang added, "The public seems to have moved beyond the plaintive cry of 'feel our pain' to the more angry pronouncement of 'you are causing our pain.'" Personally, I think the public needs to share in some of the blame as they are the ones who elect these people.

That pain has translated into strong feelings among the 1,000 adults polled that their children will not have a better life that they do, that the country is on the wrong track, that America is in a state of decline, that the country is still in recession — and that the nation's economy is not stronger because of unprecedented partisan gridlock in Washington. For there to be any forward progress to made it requires there to be a certain amount of compromise and Democrats have a rather odd way of defining compromise which is accepting nothing less than complete capitulation by their opposition.

Only 40 percent of those polled between Wednesday and Sunday said they approved of Barry's performance in the White House, which the survey reports is an all-time low. That is down from 41 percent in a June survey. But Barry's disapproval rating, 54 percent, matched a previous high, and he got his worst ratings on his handling of foreign policy, 60 percent disapproval to 36 percent approval. That should come as no surprise, look practically anywhere across the globe and you’ll find things much worse off than they were just 5 short years ago.

And much was made in this poll about the fact that the postings were just as bad for Congress, with only 14 percent supporting what legislators are doing on Capitol Hill. The rating marked the seventh-straight time it has been under 15 percent in an NBC-WSJ poll since 2011. But here the American people have no one to blame but themselves. They’re the ones who keep sending the same individuals back to Congress over and over. And yet for some bizarre reason Republicans are viewed less favorably, 19-54 percent, than Democrats, 31-46 percent.

It was in this poll that we had some imbecile by the name of Evan Coley, who happens to be the ripe old age of 22, and who’s from Albermarle, N.C., telling the Journal, "I don't think they're working for the middle class." This guy is said to work in an auto-repair shop. He went on to say, "They're trying to help themselves more than anyone else." Ok, so how stupid is this guy or has he just not been paying even the slightest bit of attention for the last few years. Frankly, to me it sounds like he spends most of his time tuned into CNN or MSNBC.

And then we had a guy by the name Al McCauley, 51, and from Greenboro, N.C., and is someone who is currently unemployed. It was this genius who said, "Both sides need to get their act together. They're not working with each other." Someone really should inform old Al, here, that the Republican House has now sent nearly 300 pieces of legislation over to the Senate, which is controlled by those which I have little doubt that old Al most likely regularly votes for. And there has not been any action taken on any of them.

Even 57 percent of the survey respondents said that they were so bothered by an issue that they'd easily carry a protest sign for at least one day. Here are some examples of the signs:

1. "Impeach Obama," a female Republican from Ohio said.
2. "Republicans and Congress, do your job," said a male Democrat, and obviously an uninformed nitwit, from Kentucky.
3. "Close the borders," added a GOP-leaning female from Massachusetts.
4. "Stop bombing people in Ukraine and Gaza and Israel," said a male, and obviously brain damaged, Democrat from Texas.
5. "Our government needs an overhaul," a female independent from Florida said.

Still, slightly more respondents said that they'd rather have the Republicans in control Congress than the Democrats, which is said to add to the general sense among most pollsters that the GOP is expected to retain the House and could possibly even re-take control of the Senate this fall. Republicans need six seats to win back the upper chamber, but it would be great if they could get all the way to 60. "What we're seeing is a good Republican cycle, but not yet like the wave elections we saw in 2006 and 2010," McInturff told the Journal.

But the bottom line here is that the American people can whine about our politicians and how the government works, or doesn’t work, until the cows come home. But the sad truth is that the direction our country is now headed has far more to with the people than it does with the politicians that they insist upon electing and re-electing. The American people could fix ALL that’s wrong with this country in the very short span of just three elections. But the fact of the matter is that I don’t think they really want to. They would rather just complain about things.

But sadly, until we, the American people come to decide that we wish to once again be a nation of responsible adults and shun the belief possessed by so many that we should continue on our present course of becoming nothing more than a nation of parasites, not much is really going to change. As long as we keep electing those politicians who promise us all manner of government give away, then there will be very little change in our current trajectory. If we truly want to get our country back on track, then we’re going to be required to get our hands a little dirty.

HANK JOHNSON, MORON-AT-LARGE…

Recently we had a little of what I think you could call comic relief, and right there in the House of Representative. And who do we have to thank for that? Why, none other Rep. Hank Johnson, Democrat from Georgia. It all came about when he came running to the defense of Barry during a House Armed Services Committee (HASC) hearing by claiming the House lawsuit is nothing short of "a coup". Now for anyone unfamiliar with old Hank, listening to him going off on how this lawsuit is some sort of a coup, should tell you pretty much all you need to, or would ever want to, know about this dumbass.

The lawsuit to which old Hank was referring is the one which alleges that Barry’s many executive orders, affecting a number of different areas, are unlawful for the very simply reason that they exceed the powers of his office. This lawsuit focuses primarily on the executive orders involving the many changes that Barry has essentially made unilaterally to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), aka Obamacare, changes that were essentially equivalent to rewriting the law, which does not fall under the Executive Branch. Now you would think that Barry, having been a one-time ‘senior lecturer’ on the Constitution, would know that. But apparently not!

Neither, apparently, does the esteemed Mr. Johnson, nor any other Democrat understand that fact. So it was then that during the committee hearing just last week that old Hank said, "That’s what he’s going to be sued for." And he went on to say, "But the overall narrative that is being created is - that the president is lawless and he doesn’t abide by the rule of law, he’s a socialist, he’s not a Christian, he’s not one of us - lets get rid of him. So it’s a coup." So, again, I’m not sure how well-versed old Hank is when it comes to knowing a thing or two about the Constitution, but apparently he doesn’t know any more about it than Barry does.

Hank made his comments during committee hearings the topic of which was whether Barry & Co. actually violated the 30-day notice requirement to Congress on prisoner exchanges, when transferring five of the worst Taliban prisoners held at Gitmo, in exchange for one traitor, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. He claimed the lawsuit and a resolution condemning the violation of the Congressional notice requirement were both part of a movement to impeach Barry. The HASC later passed a bipartisan resolution condemning Barry's failure to comply with the lawful statutory requirement of Congressional notification prior to the release of detainees from Gitmo.

I’m curious about how it is that anyone can take this moron seriously. Apparently this imbecile has been the guy who the voters of Georgia's 4th congressional district have been sending off to Washington going all the way back to 2007. And I find it pretty hard to believe that this is the guy is the best they can do when deciding who it is that they wish to represent them in Washington. You know, in a weird kinda way, I almost feel sorry for them. But then I come to my senses and realize that if most of the folks in his District are Democrats, then there’s no need to feel sorry or to even be surprised that he’s the loser they have continued to re-elect.

THE COST OF RUNNING A ‘NANNY STATE’…

When those in charge of our government are determined to ‘encourage’, and very aggressively so, as many people as possible to take advantage of the ‘benefits’ of becoming a government dependent, while at the same time seeming to have very little interest, if any, in the potential costs that are likely to arise for such an endeavor, you can pretty much rest assured that those costs will go nowhere but straight through the roof. And it’s pretty easy to see that that is exactly what has now taken place.

With our government now supporting nearly half the population, in one way or another, it has gotten to the point where it is becoming far too expensive to continue to do so. And, as it just so happens, it’s the same half now being supported by the government that is also the half that gets away with paying NO income taxes. So besides becoming an issue of mounting expense, it seems to me that it also becomes an issue of fairness. And isn’t that a favorite topic of Barry "Almighty" and many of his fellow Democrats.

You see, the grand total of what the federal government paid out in terms of ‘benefits and entitlements’ from the various government programs in just fiscal year 2013, was the staggering amount of $2,007,358,200,000. That figure is according to data obtained from the Bureau of the Fiscal Service’s Monthly Treasury Statement. The treasury statement summarizes the financial activities of the federal government, including data on government receipts, outlays, and surplus and deficit totals.

According to the statement, the federal government’s total outlays, otherwise known as spending, for means-tested and non-means tested government programs, not including administrative expenses, totaled $2,007,611,200,000 in fiscal year 2013. Most of the benefits doled out from the total of $2 trillion, or 69.7 percent, came from non-means tested government programs that, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, provide benefits to recipients who qualify regardless of income.

These non-means tested government programs include Medicare, Social Security, railroad retirement, unemployment compensation, workers’ compensation, Veterans’ compensation and Veterans’ educational assistance. In fiscal year 2013, Americans received $1,399,253,000,000 in benefits from these programs. The two programs which contributed most to this total were Social Security, totaling $663,216,000,000 and Medicare, totaling $589,655,000,000 for a combined total of $1,252,871,000,000.

Means-tested government programs, which require income to be below a certain level to be eligible for receipt, contributed to 30.3 percent of the total amount in benefits. Such government programs include public or subsidized rental housing, Federal Supplemental Security Income, food stamps, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Women, Infants and Children, free and reduced lunch programs, Pell Grants, refundable tax credits and Medicaid. These programs totaled $608,358,200,000 in fiscal year 2013.

According to the treasury statement, the federal government totaled $3,454,253,000,000 in outlays for fiscal year 2013. This number encompasses all government spending, including things like defense, highway and transportation costs, public education, immigration services and government worker salaries, to name a few. This means that the cost of covering these supposed ‘benefits’, totaling $2,007,611,200,000, amounted to over half, or 58.1 percent, of the total spending. That’s just plain nuts!

Now I’m pretty sure that those of who are constantly being forced to cough up increasing amounts of our hard earned money, in the form of rapidly rising taxes, are able to recognize the fact that this current trend that we now seem to be on, can’t continue. It’s simply impossible. However, I’m just as sure that those on the receiving end of ‘our’ money, and who view themselves as being above having to work to cover the cost their own expenses, see things quite differently. Such is this ‘Era of Obama.’

OBAMA IS ‘MR. BIPARTISAN’??? REALLY??? WHO KNEW???

Ya know, to hear Barry talk, you’d think that he is ‘Mr. Bipartisan.’ A fella willing to do just about anything if it means getting the people’s business done. But I think we all know, after watching him in action for the last 5+ years, that that’s pretty much bullshit. And so, as a fella who has spent most of his time, of late, on a number of fund-raising jaunts far from Washington, Barry told Americans, or those stupid enough to tune in, during his Saturday radio address, "I'll never stop trying to work with both parties." But the reality is, Barry is nothing more than a rabid leftwing ideologue who has zero interest in working across the aisle.

And oddly enough, it was just the day before he made this idiotic claim of his, that we heard him once again talking about how nice it would be if he could just do things all "on my own." Barry said, "If I had the power to raise the federal minimum wage on my own, or enact fair pay and paid leave for every worker on my own, or make college more affordable on my own, I would have done so already. If I could do all that, I would have gotten everything done in like my first two years." Yup, by golly, he would have done it all by his little lonesome. You see, Barry don’t need no stinking Congress, he’s above all that silly foolishness.

In his Saturday radio address, Barry spewed his typical bullshit, claiming that Congress is doing too little for "working families." He said, "I'll never stop trying to work with both parties to get things moving faster for the middle class. And I could use your help. If you see your Member of Congress around home this month, tell him or her what's on your mind. Ask them why they haven't passed bills to raise the minimum wage or help with student loans or enact fair pay for women." Barry is being more than just a bit disingenuous in making his idiotic claims, because the only folks not passing any legislation these days are his fellow Democrats in the Senate.

And in laying on even more of his rhetorical bullshit, he went on to say, "And when they return from vacation next month, instead of trying to pass partisan bills on party lines, hopefully we can come together with the sense of common purpose that you expect. And in the meantime, I will never stop doing whatever I can, whenever I can, not only to make sure that our economy succeeds, but that people like you succeed." But I am curious about something, I seem to recall hearing Barry talking about, and really not all that long ago, his phone and his pen. Is that how one typically demonstrates a willingness to work with the opposition?

But when Congress returns from vacation in September, it appears that Barry "Almighty" will have already made another big move all on his own, this time on immigration. He's expected to unilaterally expand his DACA program -- Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals -- to the parents of young people who were brought to this country illegally as children. The anticipated second wave of deferred deportations could apply to as many as five or six million illegal immigrants. Barry told reporters on Friday, "'[W]hile they're out on vacation, I'm going to have to make some tough choices to meet the (immigration) challenge, with or without Congress."

Barry does a lot of talking about our do nothing Congress, but if he was truly interested in ensuring that more of the people’s business was actually able to get done, he would be having a little talk with his old buddy ‘Dingy’ Harry’ Reid. Now that would be because the House has now sent over to the Senate for some sort of action, roughly 300 pieces of legislation. And they have yet to make it beyond ‘Dingy Harry’s’ desk. The only way we’re going to have any hope of getting things moving forward again, and possibly stopping Barry in the process, is to make sure that this time next year the Democrats are not in control of the Senate.

OBAMA…AMERICA’S NO. 1 DOMESTIC TERRORIST…

Well it would seem that when he’s not busy coming up with new ways to encourage people to exit our nation’s workforce and move onto the government dole, Barry has managed to keep quite busy by heaping even more debt onto the backs of our kids. And he has been quite successful in that endeavor as reflected by the fact that as of the end of July, the total federal debt of the U.S. government has increased by more than $7 trillion during the slightly more than five and a half years that Barry "Almighty" has been our president.

And as a way of putting that into its proper perspective, and one perhaps even simple enough for Democrats to understand, that is more than the debt increased under all U.S. presidents from George Washington through ‘BJ’ Clinton combined, and it is more debt than was accumulated in the first 227 years of this nation's existence, from 1776 through 2003. So I guess we could say that Barry has succeeded in accomplishing yet another little milestone on his way to "fundamentally transforming" America.

The total federal debt first passed the $7-trillion mark on Jan. 15, 2004, after President George W. Bush had been in office for almost three years. When Barry took office on Jan. 20, 2009, the amount of debt that he officially inherited from Bush, and which was bad enough, was $10,626,877,048,913.08. Now if we fast forward a little over 5 years we find that as of the close of business on July 30, 2014, Barry had managed to take that number and run it up another $6,991,722,604,247.11 to what is a staggering $17,618,599,653,160.19.

But even then Barry demonstrated that he was far from being done because on the close of business on the very next day, July 31, 2014, it had risen to $17,687,136,723,410.59, up $7,060,259,674,497.51, and counting, since Barry’s first inauguration day. As of June, there were 115,097,000 households in the United States, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The $17,687,136,723,410.59 in debt the federal government had accumulated as of the end of July equaled $153,671.57 per household.

The $7,060,259,674,497.51 in new debt that the federal government has taken on during Barry’s presidency equals $61,341.82 per household. And that’s just Republican households, that would also include the households of those morons who voted for him. The median household income in the United States in 2012 (the latest year estimated) was $51,017. Thus, Barry has now succeeded in increasing the federal debt an amount that is more than three times the typical household’s annual income.

Look, maybe all of those morons who voted for this corrupt piece of shit don’t mind that their children are being buried under what is a growing mountain of debt, but as far as I’m concerned, as someone who did not vote for his stupid ass, either time, I DO mind! How can anyone with even half a brain look at what Barry is doing here and think that it is in anyway a good idea? And you gotta know that Barry is laughing his ass off at these freakin’ imbeciles and yet they’re just too stupid to realize it.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE 'WAR ON WOMEN'...

As the election grows ever nearer, the intensity of the rhetoric that we can all expect to be exposed to will increase, correspondingly. And one topic that we are more than likely to hear a great deal about is the "war on women" currently being waged by the Republicans. As I have mentioned on previous occasions, there is in fact a "war on women" now underway, but the actually perpetrators are not the Republicans. Instead, the guilty party is their very enthusiastic accusers, the Democrats. In fact, it was less than a week ago while in Kansas City that Barry himself made the claim that he’s doing his best to make sure that women get paid the same amount for doing the same work as men. And yet even after five years HE still pays the women who work for him less than what he pays the men. But I digress, that’s a topic for another day.

The topic today is jobs, women’s jobs, and the fact that the number of unemployed women, 16 years and over, increased by 227,000 in July. And therefore, the unemployment rate for women ticked up from 5.9 percent to 6.2 percent, and that is according to data released just yesterday by Barry’s own Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). In July there were 4,494,000 women who were unemployed, an increase of 227,000 from June, when 4,267,000 women were unemployed. And just so we all know how things are being defined here, a person is counted as unemployed by the BLS if they say they did not have a job during the month but they were actively seeking one. While the number of unemployed women increased, the number of employed women decreased from 68,568,000 women in June to 68,486,000 in July, a one-month drop of 82,000.

The sad truth in all of this is that the Democrats really don’t want women to have a job. Because when a woman has a job she is that much more unlikely to need ‘help’ from the government. And the primary desire of the Democrats is to get as many people as possible addicted to the government. And in the ongoing battle to accomplish just that, Democrats view the female of the species as a ‘soft target’. Because once a woman has no job it really takes very little effort to convince her that she would be much better off if she were to latch herself onto the government teat. And that task becomes all that much easier when the woman is a single mother. So now it becomes the task of the Republicans to convince those women blinded by the idiotic rhetoric, or who simply prefer the government-subsidized lifestyle, that there IS a better way.

MORE BOGUS NUMBERS FROM OBAMA & CO….

As I mentioned earlier this week in another post, it was during a speech he gave on Monday, in Kansas City I think, that Barry took great pleasure in bragging about the fact that because of policies he has put into place, the then 6.1 unemployment rate was the lowest that it had been since 2008. And I also pointed out at the same time how it was that Barry had, and most likely quite on purpose, neglected to mention the fact that literally millions of Americans have now left the nation’s workforce since he first entered the Oval Office. Apparently he simply didn’t think that it worthy of being mentioned to the crowd assembled there before him.

And according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) just today, what we now know is that, as of last month, the number of those no longer in the workforce has climbed even further to 11.4 million Americans, who are age 16 and over. And that would be the current total of those who have left the nation’s workforce just since that dark and fateful day in January 2009 when it was that Barry first took office. As of last month, July 2014, there were now 92,001,000 Americans classified as "not in the labor force," meaning they not only didn’t have a job, but they didn’t actively seek one in the last four weeks.

On the day that Barry first took his oath of office, that number stood at 80,529,000, so it was therefore the number that he officially inherited from George W. Bush. And despite the fact that the number of Americans not in the labor force did drop ever so slightly in July, down 119,000 from the 92,120,000 Americans not in the labor force in June, it remains higher today, by nearly 12 million people, than it was in 2009. The participation rate, which measures the percentage of the civilian non-institutional population that participated in the labor force by either having a job or actively seeking one, increased from 62.8 percent in June to 62.9 percent in July.

In July, the number of unemployed Americans increased by 197,000 (from 9,474,000 in June to 9,671,000 in July), meaning they did not have a job even though they were actively seeking one. While the number of unemployed increased in July, so did the number of employed Americans: In June, there were 146,221,000 employed Americans, and that number climbed to 146,352,000 in July, a one-month increase of 131,000. The unemployment rate increased from 6.1 percent in June to 6.2 percent in July. But I think we are all able to very easily recognize the fact that 6.2 percent in no way paints an accurate picture of our current unemployment situation.

The employment numbers are but one of many examples that point out the lengths to which Barry & Co. will go in order to make it, at least, appear as if things are nowhere near as bad as what they really are. And unless one is willing to make the effort to get and to stay informed, one is likely to believe what is essentially nothing but propaganda coming from Barry and his team of highly skilled liars. Sadly we know very little about what goes on in an administration that continues to maintain that it is the most transparent administration in history. I think we all recognize that as the joke that it is. We won’t know what’s been going on until after we elect a new president, and if we elect another Democrat we’ll never know.

PELOSI ATTEMPTS TO MARSHAL HER MEDIA TROOPS…

Well with the midterm elections now essentially just around the corner, being less than 100 days away, the Democrats, with Ms. Pelosi appearing to lead the charge, now appear to have become much more focused on making sure that their many minions in the state-controlled media understand the importance of what lies ahead between now and the elections. For instance, when asked at a press briefing just this past Thursday why her party's message is "not resonating with the electorate," Pelosi told a room full of reporters "we need you to be messengers."

A reporter asked Pelosi: "So, you make this case about the skepticism that people have of this anti-government premise here. You talk about, you know, they’re riding this impeachment horse, and lawsuit horse, and all these things they are doing in the election. Why, for every political analysis that we see, and including top people in your party, don’t believe that the Democrats have a message that can get the House of Representatives back. What government shutdown--why are these things not resonating with the electorate and won’t resonate this fall?"

To which Pelosi responded: "Well, first of all, we need you to be messengers about what is actually going on here. But, apart from that, we have come forward with our middle-class jump start. Over the month of August, we go forward with how the jump start talks about bringing jobs home. The Republicans have tax breaks to send jobs overseas. Democrats want tax breaks to keep jobs here at home." Whoa, Democrats want tax breaks? Since when? And how do tax breaks send jobs overseas, exactly? Nancy will need to explain that one to me.

But anyway, what Pelosi seems to now be requesting from those in our state-controlled media, is for them to get busy creating, and essentially out of whole cloth, a storyline that can then be sold to the American people in an effort to limit any potential damage the Democrats are likely suffer. And I have no doubt that there will be very little, if any, resistance met from those in the media when it comes to doing all that they can to help out. After all, the majority of those who identify themselves as journalists today see themselves not so much as providers of information, but, instead, as creators of stories the purpose of which is to sway public opinion.
