AL GORE ON THOSE DASTARDLY REPUBLICANS…

Recently Al Gore gave one of his typical style of speeches, this one coming at the Brookings Institution. While the speech was delivered with Gores standard fervor, the subject wasn’t his usual hysterics about man made climate change, even though the subject of his recent rant was just as bogus. Because, you see, what Al was talking about this time was Obamacare. And it was during this rant/speech that Gore again went over the top, actually referring to Republican efforts to defund Obamacare through the continuing resolution as "political terrorism." There’s something ironic about Gore talking about political terrorism.

Now for those of unfamiliar with this Brookings outfit, in front of whom Gore spoke, it’s a ‘think tank’ that describes itself as being independent and non-partisan. But I’m not quite sure that that would be an accurate description. Because upon closer examination, courtesy of a 2011 study that looked at think tank employee donations from 2003 to 2010, we see that over 97% of Brookings's employees' political donations went to Democrats. Also that same study actually described the think tank as being "liberal". So that Al chose this particular venue for this particular rant, should come as no surprise

Gore said, "Now I’m going to talk about the potential for a shutdown in just a moment, but I think the only phrase that describes it is political terrorism. Nice global economy you got there, it’d be a shame if we had to destroy it. We have a list of demands. If you don’t meet them all by our deadline, we’ll blow up the global economy." Gore then asked rhetorically,. "Really?" Never mind the fact that nothing of what he said had any basis whatsoever in the truth. But let’s face it, with him being a Democrat, we know for a fact that the truth has pretty much the same effect on Democrats as sunlight has on vampires.

Then Gore asked, "Where are the American people in this? Why does partisanship have anything to do with such a despicable and dishonorable threat to the integrity of the United States of America?" He then bellowed in typical Gore fashion, "It cannot be allowed." Well, to begin with it’s a pretty sizable majority of the American people who are less than thrilled with Obamacare. And secondly, those posing the biggest threat to the ‘integrity’ of our nation are, more often than not, of the same political persuasion as our global warming nut, Al Gore. So I’m not surprised that those in attendance were in agreement with everything he said.

Gore said the only way to stop Republican efforts to defund Obamacare through the CR is for members of both political parties as well as independents to say: "‘Look, I might not agree with everything that is in the Affordable Care Act, but it did pass, it was upheld by the Supreme Court. It is the law of the land." Most people agree with NOTHING that’s in Obamacare. And this law of the land that was shoved through Congress using some of the most despicable political tactics imaginable. So Gore can shove that sh!t where the sun don’t shine. Like most progressives he just makes sh!t up as he goes along!

Then in claiming to be speaking on behalf of the American people he said, "‘You didn’t succeed in the constitutional process, by which this was considered, and now you want to threaten to not only shut down our government, but to blow up world economy unless we go back and undo what we did according to the processes of our democracy? How dare you? How dare you?’" I always find it somewhat hypocritical whenever liberal douche bags like Gore start talking about the constitutional process as if it’s something that they genuinely believe in. I seriously doubt Al, or any Democrat, even knows what the Constitution says.
