DECISION TIME IS UPON US…

WHAT AN ARROGANT A**HOLE LOOKS LIKE
In what country is it that it can now be said that we are living when a sitting U.S. senator can feel justified in making the claim, and very confidently so, that, yes, it would be morally justifiable for Congress to pass a continuing resolution that forces Americans to buy healthcare plans covering abortion-inducing drugs even if doing so violates their religious beliefs. And who might it have been who made such a claim, why none other than Senator Chris Murphy, Democrat. He made his bold proclamation when asked about funding the controversial provision in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, following a press conference on Capitol Hill Wednesday. Morally justified? And this coming from a Democrat?

The question as it was posed to the good senator went like this: "As implemented the Affordable Care Act, Obamacare, is forcing Christian individuals and business owners to purchase health plans that cover abortion-inducing drugs. Now as a result, people are going to be able to use those federal subsidies to buy plans that pay for abortions. Do you believe, Senator, you're going to be morally justified in voting, through the next continuing resolution, to give the administration more money to do those things?" To which this pompous boob wasted no time in responding, and in typical liberal fashion, with a very resounding, "Yes!" Which just goes to show you the twisted mentality that we are now up against. These are dangerous times!

According to the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, there are now over 200 plaintiffs who are challenging the implementation of Obamacare in court on the grounds that it violates Americans' First Amendment rights by requiring them to purchase health care plans that cover sterilization, contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs even if they are morally opposed. But if you’ve spent any time listening to such liberal luminaries as Dianne Feinstein lately, Democrat hag from California, you’ve heard it said that that which is outlined in the First Amendment is actually not a right, in fact, according to Ms. Feinstein, it’s more of a guideline. Which would, I suppose, if they were alive today, come as bit of a surprise to those brilliant men who conceived it.

So such is where we seem to have now arrived. The point where those in government apparently feel that they somehow have the power to dictate to us, "We the People", and that we simply have no recourse but to comply with their increasingly arrogant demands. When was it, exactly, that we lost control? When did we cease being the master and become the servant? We are headed down a slippery slope, my friends, and we’re rapidly running out of time if we hope to respond to this outrage in any meaningful way. We cannot afford to tolerate his type of arrogant behavior, we must waste no time on setting to work in our effort to nip it in the bud and we may already be too late! But we should not permit that to stop us from acting, and acting boldly.

It would seem that we are now being forced into a position where we will soon have to make a decision. We must decide if we are going to act, and very aggressively so, or if we are going to simply resign ourselves to the fact that we have become nothing more than the servants of those whom we ‘elect.’ And with each passing day our available options are being significantly reduced and the longer we allow ourselves to be lulled into what is nothing more than a terminal form of passivity, the less likely we are to be successful in any effort we may undertake to right this ship of ours that is now listing dangerously to the left. The goal of many of our ‘leaders’ is to keep us distracted just long enough, at least until we have passed that point of no return. And it won’t be long now.
