FILE THIS ONE UNDER: JUST WHAT PLANET IS THIS MORON FROM???

Proving yet again that there is absolutely no lie that Democrats will not tell in their continuing effort to convince people that Obamacare is some great and wondrous thing, we have moron Barbara Lee from, where else, California, who in a rather heated exchange with Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Republican, on "Meet the Press" Sunday, insisted that Obamacare is reducing health care costs. "Health care costs are going down….they’re going down for the first time in 50 years," Lee stated emphatically. This is an old Democrat tactic, lie often and lie loudly and eventually the less intelligent folks will come over to your side.

"No they’re not. They’re escalating," Ms. Blackburn countered, interrupting Lee. "They’re through the roof." And there is an abundant amount of evidence available that makes it quite easy to determine which one of these two ladies is lying. Well, since ladies don’t lie, what we really seem to have here is a lady and a scum-sucking Democrat. And it was earlier in the program that Lee made the rather idiotic, and patently false argument, that millions of "people right now are benefiting from the Affordable Care [Act]," which, you’ll recall, Congress passed in 2010 without a single Republican vote.

"They’re being hurt by it," Ms. Blackburn interjected. To which the lying sack of shit Lee responded, "They’re not being hurt by this." So who’s right? Well if, unlike Ms. Lee, you’re interested in actual facts, then according to The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index, (CPI), which measures the average change in prices for basic goods and services, including food, energy, transportation, housing and health care, the answer to that question would be obvious. Because it would be Ms. Blackburn. Lee is doing nothing more than what Pelosi did back when she said we’d needed to pass it to see what’s in it. LIE!

Over the past year, the cost of all goods and services here in America rose 1.5 percent. But, despite what Ms Lee, the Democrat, would have us believe, costs for medical services rose more than 3 percent during the same time period, or more than twice the CPI’s average rate of inflation. Obviously the esteemed Ms. Lee is no brighter than many of her fellow House Democrats, such as Shelia Jackson Lee, Corrine Brown, Eleanor Holmes, Marcia Fudge and Frederica Wilson to name just a few. The collective brainpower of this little cadre wouldn’t light up your average appliance bulb. And yet people seem to be willing to believe them.

In addition, we have the Office of the Actuary at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that recently issued its "National Health Expenditure Projections 2012-2022," which noted that "health spending growth through 2013 is expected to remain just under 4.0 percent." The cost increase is lower than expected, "due to the sluggish economic recovery, continued increases in cost-sharing requirements for the privately insured, and low growth for Medicare and Medicaid," CMS noted. But next year things will be turning pretty ugly, pretty fast. But of course you’ll hear none of that from the disgusting Ms. Lee.

Because next year overall health care costs are forecast to increase a pretty significant 6.1 percent because of "improving economic conditions, the Obamacare coverage expansions, and the aging of the population, drive faster projected growth in health spending in 2014 and beyond." The same report also predicts that "health spending is projected to grow at an average rate of 5.8 percent from 2012-2022, 1.0 percentage point faster than expected average annual growth in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP)." Again, this is not the kind of information that Ms. Lee and her fellow Democrats want to bring to the forefront.

According to CMS, aggregate health care costs under Obamacare will: 1) Grow an average of 6.2 percent per year through 2022; 2) Increase cumulative health spending in the U.S. by roughly $621 Billion over the next decade; 3) Consume 19.9 of GDP by 2022, compared to 17.9 percent in 2011. "The primary emphasis of the health law is to reduce the number of uninsured," University of Southern California health policy Professor Glenn Melnick told the Los Angeles Times. "It has limited ways to achieve cost containment. We should be realistic that the law will not substantially slow down spending." Tell that to Ms. Lee!

So I’ll ask again. Just what planet is this moron, Barbara Lee, from? I mean here we are being inundated with all manner of proof, that is essentially undeniable, telling us this train wreck of Obamacare, is truly that, a train wreck, yet the Democrats, including this loon Lee, continue to deny it. Instead they feel completely justified in referring to that mountain of evidence as being nothing more than fear-mongering coming from opponents of the ‘law.’ If in fact this is such a great idea then why is it that Ms. Lee and her colleagues have found for themselves a way out of it? Either we’re ALL going to be in it, or none of us should be!

Finally I’d just like to say that I’m really getting fed up with being treated like some sort of second class citizen who is presumed to be too stupid to take care of himself and therefore needs the government to do the job for me. People like this Lee character turn my stomach. She like the rest of her cohorts in the Democrat Party hate this country, and have made it quite clear that they are now on a mission to destroy it. People like her used to be a little more covert in their sinister activities, but in this age of Barry "Almighty" they are now free to operate in the full light of day and right under our noses. They are a pathetic bunch, these Democrats, as is anyone who votes for them.
