WE’VE GOT TO STOP THIS OBAMA INSANITY…
As I have asked on any number of previous occasions, does anyone ‘really’ think that Barry cares, even for a second, what his job-approval rating is? Do you think he goes to bed every night thinking about the many Americans who see him as a man out to destroy their country? Personally, I don’t think it bothers him anymore than a cloudy day. He is where he’s gonna be for the next 3+ years and there’s not a damn thing that we can do about it. And he’s got douche bag ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid, watching his back in the Senate and Nancy ‘I’ve Had A Bit Too Much Botox’ Pelosi stirring up as much hate and discontent as she can over in the House, so Barry, no doubt, sees himself as being in fat city.
But be that as it may, Barry’s job-approval rating has fallen to its lowest level since 2011, which is said to be a reflection of both the public's disapproval of his clashes with Congress on the issue of spending and a growing opposition to Obamacare. At least that’s what two new polls would seem to indicate. According to the Bloomberg National Poll of 1,000 adults conducted Sept. 20-23, the president has a 45 percent job-approval rating, while a Gallup survey of 11,259 adults taken Sept. 1-22 gives him 44 percent. The Gallup survey seemed to show that Barry is rapidly losing support within his own party, but I’m not so sure that that bother’s all that much either.
While he’s still supported by an impressive 78 percent of Democrats, he has lost 13 points from a high of 91 percent in the month after his re-election. "Loss of support from a president's core supporters is an ominous sign, as they are typically the last group to abandon the president when things go sour," Gallup said in a statement. I guess I don’t get what’s so ominous about it. I mean, what’s Barry got to worry about? Gallup says, "Obama still enjoys the support of the vast majority of Democrats, 78 percent, but that is down 13 points from the end of last year and is 6 points below his average 84 percent approval rating from Democrats throughout his presidency." Let’s face it, Barry couldn’t care less!
While the two polls may have been bad news for the president, they were said to be even worse for Republicans. Which, I would argue, simply reveals the level of ignorance possessed by those who took part in both polls. Respondents to the Bloomberg survey, for example, blamed both Barry "Almighty" and congressional Republicans for the partisan mess in Washington over spending and the debt limit. But they still give the president a better favorability rating at 47 percent to Republicans' 34 percent. So at a time when we have a president determined to spend us into bankruptcy, people seem to get more pissed when any attempt is made to say no to the spending. I’m just not seeing the logic there.
The American people are going to have to come to some sort of a realization here that we simply cannot go on spending like we have been. We are, at some point, going to have to throttle back, and the longer we wait to do that the more painful it’s going to be. And they need also be mindful of the fact that it’s not going to be very long before we reach that much talked about point of no return. That point after which we can cut all the spending that we want, but where the damage done will have been so extensive, that there’ll be just no way to fix things. So we can get mad at the Republicans, but right now, like it or not, they’re all that lies between economic survival and certain economic ruin.
Which brings me to asking this question: Just how much more damage are Barry and the Democrats going to have to do before enough people start placing more of the blame where it rightfully belongs. Now I’m not saying that the Republicans have clean hands here, but perhaps if more folks were to make it known that they would be willing to support the truly tough measures that we all know are going to be necessary, more Republicans might be willing to actually push for them. For instance, suppose the majority of Americans got behind the notion that if a government shutdown, which is really not a shutdown, is what’s necessary to get us back on track then, so be it, shut the government down.
But NO! Far too many Americans believe the lying, scum-sucking Democrats and their many minions in the state-controlled media. These same folks choose to ignore, completely, the consequences of doing what it is that the Democrats want to keep doing. SPEND! We have to get together and tell Barry "Almighty" & Co. to go fu*k themselves. If we need to shut down the government then we should be in favor of doing just that. We won’t like it, but, at this point, we’ve really been left with no alternative. And we would also need to come together as Americans and tell our politicians, both Democrat and Republican that if they refuse to do what’s necessary, we WILL vote out all those that we can in 2014.
The bottom line here is that those Americans who are truly interested in rescuing their country before Barry manages to drive it over the cliff, are going to have to put their respective party labels aside. We are going to need to cease being Democrats or Republicans, it gone beyond that now. We need to be, Americans. That’s our only hope. It’s either that or we continue to sit around and tell the boobs who take polls who we think is to blame for the mess that we’re in. But the truth is, we’re to blame. We’re the ones who have somehow allowed ourselves to be convinced that there’s such a thing as "free money." But there ain’t no such thing. That ‘free money’ is actually coming from our kids.
There’s plenty of blame to go around, but over the course of the last four years I think it’s plain to see who the bigger culprit is when it comes to spending. We had one party who was intent upon spending money faster than it could be printed and another party too squeamish to do anything about it. We were far too willing to believe the rhetoric that said all we needed to do was to just tax those rich fat cats a little more. But no one seemed to stop and think about the fact that it’s many of those same rich fat cats who create many of the jobs in this country. And the more money they’re forced to hand over the government, the fewer jobs they will be able to create either through their own businesses, their investments or by the purchases that they make.
Well I suppose I’ve rambled on long enough here. The only point that I’ve been trying to make here is that maybe we should all spend a little less time answering stupid polls that really don’t matter, and start focusing on those things that do matter, a lot. The Democrats do not have a solution for what’s needed, if our goal here, truly is to save our country. That’s because they are much too intent upon destroying it. That only leaves us with the Republicans. Granted, that’s not much, but it’s really all we have. We’ll need to use the Ted Cruz’s, the Mike Lee’s, the Rand Pauls’s to make our case for us and to convince as many others as possible to see the light and to get onboard. If we don’t, WE’RE TOAST!
