NOTHIN’ BUT THE PROPAGANDA ARM OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY…

While seeming to be perfectly content to turn a blind eye to such things as the scandal that New York Gov. Andy Cuomo now currently finds himself embroiled in, and the impressive list of scandals that can be said to surround Barry "Almighty", our state-controlled media has wasted very little time in spreading the ‘news’ regarding the indictment of Governor Rick Perry. Perry’s supposed crime? The threatening to veto funding for the state’s public integrity unit after a Democrat District Attorney refused to resign after a drunk driving incident. ABC and CBS did their very best to play up the charges against the Texas Republican. Politically motivated?

So anyway, while on Saturday, August 16, all three network evening newscasts DID take the time to provide numerous soundbites of Governor Perry’s repudiation of the charges against him, oddly enough, it was only NBC Nightly News that bothered to include any quotes from both Republicans and Democrats who had come out and actually condemned the indictment. However, none of the so-called "big three" networks bothered to mention that the office involved in this farce of prosecuting Perry, has a rather long history of singling out Republican politicians for ‘prosecution, including former House Majority Leader Tom Delay.

As I said earlier it was NBC, usually the more partisan of the "big three" networks in both what it chooses to report as well as of how it is to be reported, ‘reporter’ Kristen Welker who was the only one to spotlight how there’s "largely bipartisan support for Perry with former Obama advisor David Axelrod tweeting that the indictment "seems pretty sketchy" and potential 2016 rival Jeb Bush calling the charges politically motivated and ridiculous." Apparently the other networks saw neither anything significant, nor ‘news’ worthy, in those remarks and therefore saw no need to report them. Also politically motivated?

Because instead of mentioning this very important little detail, ABC, or the Anti-American Broadcasting Company, ‘reporter’ Dan Harris introduced a report on Perry by hyping "we saw the spectacle of a potential presidential contender in a high stakes fight this is really being watched all over America." And it was ‘reporter’ Jeff Zeleney who promoted how "it's a tough legal case to prove, but could still complicate his political ambitions" but never once considered that the lawsuit was designed to hurt his political ambitions from the beginning. But then why on Earth would anyone on our state-controlled media want to even bring up such a thing?

The ABC reporter concluded by doing his very best to cast doubt on the Texas Republican’s political future by proclaiming "he's still planning on visiting New Hampshire next week to keep those 2016 hopes alive. But before leaving Texas, he must stop at the courthouse for his arraignment." That these individuals can be, or even should be, referred to as being ‘reporters’ is nothing more than a joke. That nomenclature should be reserved for those who actually possess a desire to keep the people informed, and are genuinely interested in doing so, not to being dedicated to keeping ‘We the People’ in the dark.

Over on the Communist Broadcasting System (CBS) Evening News, reporter Manuel Bojorquez did note how the indictment of Perry came from a "heavily Democratic county" but apparently did no see as being important to inform his viewers that the district attorney’s office leading the investigation has a history of targeting Texas Republican politicians. Rather than acknowledge the partisan history of this office, Bojorquez concluded his piece by editorializing how "there is no word on when the governor will be booked. Jim, even if he is eventually cleared of these charges, he may have to deal with the political embarrassment of a mugshot."

But hey, there’s no bias here, right? While there has always been a leftward slant to the news, today the reporting of the ‘news’ has morphed into what is nothing more than the spreading of leftist propaganda. At least in the places where most folks usually go today in search of what they think will be accurate information. But sadly what they are actually the recipients of, is propaganda, the sole purpose of which is to distract. And what we have here in this most recent incident is yet another example of how our once ‘mainstream’ media has now become little more than the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. Which may explain why fewer people tune in.
