GWEN MOORE TRIES TO MAKE IT ALL ABOUT RACE…
Introducing yet another brilliant congressional Democrat who seems to be far more interested in moving the political agenda of her party forward than she is with the genuine needs of the black community. Our esteemed Rep. Gwen Moore makes that crystal clear when she makes the idiotic claim that the Republicans want to shut down the government as a way "to punish the people for electing Barack Obama President of the United States." Obviously she’s unable to think for herself, if the best this moron can do is to spew her party’s talking points. If she were really concerned about those folks in the black community, she’d put their needs above her party’s twisted desires. But that ain’t gonna happen!
Anyway, this imbecile, Moore, made her idiotic comments from the House floor on Saturday, as lawmakers debated the language of a new continuing resolution (CR) to fund the government. "This whole debate is a subterfuge and a proxy for a strong desire to bring this nation to its knees to punish the people for electing Barack Obama President of the United States, " Moore said. Frankly I’m surprised she was able to use the word ‘subterfuge’ in a sentence. She then went on to say, "This debate is not about medical devices, about birth control, about Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act. It is about continuing to have our government operate for another few days."
So it was then that over the weekend, the House passed a short-term CR House that delays Obamacare and permanently repeals a tax on medical devices. The Senate, led by the very sleazy ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid, will most certainly reject the measure on Monday, which I’m sure will please Ms. Moore, as well as her fellow members of the Congressional Black Caucus, no end. But who is it that is liable to be made to suffer the most under this abomination of Obamacare? But that must matter very little to Ms. Moore, what’s remains the top priority is the fact that the government be able to maintain control of what healthcare remains available to the American people. Nothing else is anywhere near as important.
ADVICE FROM THE OLD “SLICKMEISTER”…
The Democrats were recently on the receiving end of the type of political advice that one could expect to hear coming from that sage of the party, ‘Slick Willie Clinton. As you may recall, it was old Slick’s administration that was made to experience a partial government shutdown back in 1996, and it was able to be spun as being the fault of the GOP. So now, he’s come out and said that he wouldn’t bother negotiating with Republicans on the eve of another shutdown. But what the ‘Slickmeister’ seems to ignore completely, and some Republicans do as well, is that 2013 is not 1996. And no matter how much he might wish it were so, a lot has changed over course of the last 17 years.
And things have changed the most dramatically just over the course of the last four years, with spending having gone through the roof, the racking up of an incredible amount of debt and an economy that is, quite literally, being destroyed by the very ones who claim to be ‘fixing it. And Obamacare is a fixture of all three of these areas. "I think there are times when you have to call people’s bluff," Clinton advised during an interview with his old sidekick, George "Stephy" Stephanopoulos," on Stephy’s stupid little Sunday show. And if this is the mentality we can expect from those on the left, then Republicans are left with few choices. They will need to stiffen their spines and plow ahead.
Slick said Republican tactics to undermine the 2010 health-care law seem "almost spiteful." However, I would argue that it’s just the opposite that’s true. I’d say that it’s the Democrats who are the ones being spiteful. They’re insisting upon putting their own political agenda above the desires of the American people. I mean, look, there has been poll after poll taken by all manner of polling group that has made it quite clear that well over 60 percent of the American people remain firmly against this thing. They see it as being far too intrusive, far too costly and incredibly destructive of our fragile economy. So it would be the Republicans who seem to be the ones doing that which the American people want done.
The Slickster recalled some "extremely minor" negotiations during his administration’s partial closures and said that, in this case, there isn’t an opportunity for real talks. "The current price of stopping it is higher than the price of letting the Republicans do it and taking their medicine," he said. "If they’re going to change the way the Constitution works and fundamentally alter the character of our country and damage the future of a lot of kids, you just have to say no." But in so saying, "BJ" seems to ignore completely the rather sleazy gimmicks used by his fellow Democrats to get the thing ‘passed’. Remember how it had to be passed in order for us find out what was in it? Old Slick don’t remember that, I guess
That’s the thing with these scum-sucking Democrats like the old Slickmeister. The rules are never meant to apply to them, only to the other guys. Democrats must be free to do whatever they want, however they want, because their motives are the ones considered to be so pristine. But it’s just the opposite that’s nearly always true. And despite what "BJ" said, it’s not the Republicans who are working to change the way our Constitution works, nor to fundamentally alter the character of our country. In fact, wasn’t it Barry who promised that if elected his goal was to "fundamentally transform" our country? We’re always being made to believe that it’s the Democrats who have our back, when all they really want to do is to shove a knife in it.

‘SLICK WILLIE’ CLINTON CALLS TED CRUZ A LIAR???
‘Slick Willie’ Clinton, who you’ll all remember was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives for, among other things, lying under oath and obstruction of justice, and who was also held in contempt of court by U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright for giving "intentionally false" testimony, made quite the claim this past weekend. You see, during an interview that he gave to his former staffer George ‘Stephy’ Stephanopoulos on ABC News’s "This Week With George Stephanopoulos" on Sunday, old ‘Slick’ actually accused Sen. Ted Cruz of making multiple false statements during his filibuster on the Senate floor last week. Funny right, here we had one pathetic lying sack of shit claiming to another pathetic lying sack of shit, that it’s Sen. Cruz who’s really the liar? Ya, right!
Anyway, the old ‘Slickmeister’ told Stephy, "I listened to some of Sen. Cruz’s filibuster on the health-care bill and he just kept making all these claims that just aren’t so and everybody knows they’re not." Now I too listened to a goodly share, but not all of Cruz’s filibuster, and I don’t recall hearing him say anything that wasn’t true. And of course, as is usually the case with Democrats, "BJ" didn’t bother to cite any specifics of what Cruz lied about, nor did Stephy bother to ask old "BJ" to provide any examples or to in any way justify his assertion that Cruz had made such false statements. So I guess we’re just expected to simply accept "BJ’s" claims at face value. Sorry, I stopped believing Democrats a longtime ago, and the way this thing was shoved through Congress, "BJ" has got no room to be calling Cruz a liar.
The sad truth is that this whole charade was nothing more than a way for "BJ" to offer up encouragement to Barry and Senate Democrats to not give in to congressional Republicans on the question of delaying Obamacare. Slickster said, "This is the House Republicans and the Tea Party people saying we don’t want to negotiate with the Democrats." He went on to say, "We want to dictate over the Senate, over the House Democrats, over the Speaker of the House of our own party and over the president. We insist on dictating the course of the country." You see, this is how Democrats like "BJ" accuse the Republicans of doing what Democrats have been doing for decades. Democrats always make it sound as if it is they who are always the ones to compromise and to bend over backwards to satisfy the Republicans unreasonable demands.
Stephy then asked: "So you’re saying you just have to stand up to that no matter what the consequences?" "BJ" said "I do. I do." Adding that, "It’s terrible because all over the world people see like, you know---I listened to some of Sen. Cruz’s filibuster on the health-care bill and he just kept making all these claims that just aren’t so and everybody knows they’re not." But still he could never bring himself to name even one example! And "BJ" knew that he could get away with telling his lies about Cruz because there was no way that Stephy was going to be asking him to provide any sort of proof. Such is what our state-controlled media has now become, which is nothing more than an extension of the Democrat Party. The role of the media today is to furnish a stage to Democrats to spew their propaganda with no questions asked.

THE ULTIMATE ACT OF BLATANT POLITICAL COWARDICE…
Twenty-five Republican senators, led by Mitch McConnell and John "The Maverick" McCain turned their back on the American people yesterday. They did so by choosing to vote in favor of invoking cloture on the House-passed continuing resolution to fund the government past Monday. This gutless act had the disastrous result of putting ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid in the rather enviable position of then being able to strip the bill of its provision for defunding Obamacare with a simple party-line majority vote instead of the 60 votes needed on cloture.
House and Senate conservatives had hoped that the 46 Republicans in the Senate would join together and oppose cloture until ‘Dingy Harry’ agreed to use a Senate rule that requires amendments to clear a 60-vote threshold. Had our Senate Republicans actually done that, ‘Dingy Harry’ would have needed to put together a bipartisan 60-vote majority in order to restore Obamacare funding. But nope, they just couldn’t bring themselves to do it. Senate Republicans split on the cloture vote, with twenty-five joining old ‘Dingy’ and his Democrats.
As predicted, soon after the 25 Republicans joined with all Senate Democrats to invoke cloture on the CR, ‘Dingy Harry’ offered up an amendment to strip the CR of the language defunding Obamacare. ‘Dingy’s’ amendment resurrecting Obamacare, which at that point, after cloture, needed only a simple majority to pass, was approved on a party-line vote. All 54 Democrats voted for it, and all 44 Republicans present in the Senate at the time voted against it. But that vote was simply a way for the Republicans to ‘claim’ they had voted to defund Obamacare.
Here are the 25 Republicans who chose to stand with ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid instead of with the American people. We must remember these names come election time:
Lamar Alexander (R-TN)
Kelly Ayotte (R-NH)
John Barrasso (R-WY)
Roy Blunt (R-MO)
John Boozman (R-AR)
Richard Burr (R-NC)
Saxby Chambliss (R-GA)
Jeff Chiesa (R-NJ)
Daniel Coats (R-IN)
Tom Coburn (R-OK)
Thad Cochran (R-MS)
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Bob Corker (R-TN)
John Cornyn (R-TX)
Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
John Hoeven (R-ND)
Johnny Isakson (R-GA)
Mike Johanns (R-NE)
Mark Kirk (R-IL)
Ron Johnson (R-WI)
John McCain (R-AZ)
Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
John Thune (R-SD)
Roger Wicker (R-MS)
And these are the 19 Republicans who stood with "We the People", and told ‘Dingy Harry’ to go screw himself. We must also remember their names as well, but for entirely different reasons:
Mike Crapo (R-ID)
Ted Cruz (R-TX)
Mike Enzi (R-WY)
Deb Fischer (R-NE)
Chuck Grassley (R-IA)
Dean Heller (R-NV)
Jim Inhofe (R-OK)
Mike Lee (R-UT)
Jerry Moran (R-KS)
Rand Paul (R-KY)
Rob Portman (R-OH)
James Risch (R-ID)
Pat Roberts (R-KS)
Marco Rubio (R-FL)
Tim Scott (R-SC)
Jeff Sessions (R-AL)
Richard Shelby (R-AL)
Pat Toomey (R-PA)
David Vitter (R-LA)
To say that I’m disappointed in the outcome is an understatement. But at the same time I can’t really say that I’m surprised. Knowing the caliber of some of those individuals that we have in the Senate, I can’t say that I’m shocked at how things turned out. Republicans, at least a majority in the Senate, have once again proven themselves to be gutless cowards while choosing to do the equivalent of throwing their colleagues in the House under the bus. And, sadly, they demonstrated little conscious, being able to do so quite easily, without nary batting an eye.
We’re running out of time here, and we don’t have time to replace all of those who deserve to be replaced. A secretary of defense that I had a great deal of respect for, and still do, once said that you have to go to war with the army you have, not the army you wish you had. That would be the equivalent of where we now find ourselves. So our battle has been made more difficult, but if we can believe Ted Cruz, not impossible. But the weight on John Boehner’s shoulders just increased significantly. Now we must wait and see if he is up to what will be a crucial challenge.

TED CRUZ IN 2016…
Well lookee what we have here! It would seem that fresh off his 21-hour filibuster against Obamacare funding, we have a new poll that shows Sen. Ted Cruz has now leapfrogged past his potential rivals for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination and that GOP primary voters trust now him more than their party leaders on Capitol Hill. The Public Policy Polling survey found that 20 percent of those surveyed supported Mr. Cruz, Texas Republican, while 17 percent supposed Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, with two RINOS, Chris Christies and Jeb Bush coming in at 14 percent 11 percent respectively.
"Ted Cruz this week established himself as the grassroots hero of the Republican party," said Dean Debnam, president of PPP. "The party has more faith in him than their more official leaders like Mitch McConnell and John Boehner." Mr. Cruz has climbed eight percentage points in the poll since July - thanks in large part to strong support from people who identified themselves as "very conservative" and who support a government shutdown by a 75 percent to 10 percent margin. Speaking for myself, I am a big fan. And I really want to believe that he is, in fact, the real deal.
And I’m sure this is something that comes as no surprise, the poll also found that Mr. Cruz is now more trusted then Mr. McConnell, the Senate minority leader, Mr. Boehner, the speaker of the House, and even Sen. John ‘The Maverick" McCain, our party’s loser of a 2008 presidential nominee. "Our numbers also suggest that Cruz is now viewed more broadly as the leader of the Republican Party," the poll analysis said. "He now has more credibility with the GOP base than the folks who have been leading the party for years." Well, that because those folks have essentially been lying to us for years!
And rumor has it that The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is very pleased with the notion of Mr. Cruz becoming the face of the Republican Party. Although I think they may be a little premature if already planning a campaign strategy that would undoubtedly be centered around their desire to portray him as being some right wing ideologue. The one thing I like about Cruz is that I doubt very seriously if we’d see him backing down, or shying away from a fight. And in maybe I’m getting a little premature myself, but if Cruz does end up being our man, the scum-sucking Democrats better be ready to bring their A-team.
Like I said, the only thing that worries me is the thought that he isn’t what he seems to be. Although up to this point, I must admit, he has been pretty consistent. And I don’t think for a minute that he is some sort of publicity whore, as he has been accused of being by folks on both sides of the aisle. Accusations that I think have their source in what is nothing more than pure jealously. Cruz connects with people in a way most other politicians only wish they could. He’s perceived as being honest and as someone who you can actually trust. Both are qualities rare for a politician. He means what he says, and says what he means.
AL GORE ON THOSE DASTARDLY REPUBLICANS…
Recently Al Gore gave one of his typical style of speeches, this one coming at the Brookings Institution. While the speech was delivered with Gores standard fervor, the subject wasn’t his usual hysterics about man made climate change, even though the subject of his recent rant was just as bogus. Because, you see, what Al was talking about this time was Obamacare. And it was during this rant/speech that Gore again went over the top, actually referring to Republican efforts to defund Obamacare through the continuing resolution as "political terrorism." There’s something ironic about Gore talking about political terrorism.
Now for those of unfamiliar with this Brookings outfit, in front of whom Gore spoke, it’s a ‘think tank’ that describes itself as being independent and non-partisan. But I’m not quite sure that that would be an accurate description. Because upon closer examination, courtesy of a 2011 study that looked at think tank employee donations from 2003 to 2010, we see that over 97% of Brookings's employees' political donations went to Democrats. Also that same study actually described the think tank as being "liberal". So that Al chose this particular venue for this particular rant, should come as no surprise
Gore said, "Now I’m going to talk about the potential for a shutdown in just a moment, but I think the only phrase that describes it is political terrorism. Nice global economy you got there, it’d be a shame if we had to destroy it. We have a list of demands. If you don’t meet them all by our deadline, we’ll blow up the global economy." Gore then asked rhetorically,. "Really?" Never mind the fact that nothing of what he said had any basis whatsoever in the truth. But let’s face it, with him being a Democrat, we know for a fact that the truth has pretty much the same effect on Democrats as sunlight has on vampires.
Then Gore asked, "Where are the American people in this? Why does partisanship have anything to do with such a despicable and dishonorable threat to the integrity of the United States of America?" He then bellowed in typical Gore fashion, "It cannot be allowed." Well, to begin with it’s a pretty sizable majority of the American people who are less than thrilled with Obamacare. And secondly, those posing the biggest threat to the ‘integrity’ of our nation are, more often than not, of the same political persuasion as our global warming nut, Al Gore. So I’m not surprised that those in attendance were in agreement with everything he said.
Gore said the only way to stop Republican efforts to defund Obamacare through the CR is for members of both political parties as well as independents to say: "‘Look, I might not agree with everything that is in the Affordable Care Act, but it did pass, it was upheld by the Supreme Court. It is the law of the land." Most people agree with NOTHING that’s in Obamacare. And this law of the land that was shoved through Congress using some of the most despicable political tactics imaginable. So Gore can shove that sh!t where the sun don’t shine. Like most progressives he just makes sh!t up as he goes along!
Then in claiming to be speaking on behalf of the American people he said, "‘You didn’t succeed in the constitutional process, by which this was considered, and now you want to threaten to not only shut down our government, but to blow up world economy unless we go back and undo what we did according to the processes of our democracy? How dare you? How dare you?’" I always find it somewhat hypocritical whenever liberal douche bags like Gore start talking about the constitutional process as if it’s something that they genuinely believe in. I seriously doubt Al, or any Democrat, even knows what the Constitution says.
CHRIS CHRISTIE…A LEGEND IN HIS OWN MIND…
Does anyone really care what Chris Christie thinks about what’s going on in Washington? It would seem to me that he should perhaps focus more on the goings on in his own state. Because any delusions of grandeur that he might have once had about running for president in 2016 have all but evaporated. Oh, he can run, I suppose, but his chances of actually getting elected are about the same as Marco Rubio’s. That would be slim and none, with slim having just left town. Part of that stems from his rather skewed perception of things that has the Republicans being entirely to blame for what is going on Washington right now.
The rotund Mr. Christie made that point quite apparent what he implied on Thursday that "responsible Republican leaders" would not allow the government to shut down. Appearing on a Communist Broadcasting System, better known as CBS, morning show, Christie spewed, "That, by definition, is a failure. You’ve gotta work it out." Now of course the New Jersey blimp didn't bother to name any GOP politicians, but his remarks did come just a day after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz finished a 21-hour speech on the Senate floor advocating for the defunding of Obamacare. Christie is one of the GOP governors onboard with Obamacare.
Christie, who I can only assume must view himself as being one of those "responsible leaders", said, "I think there's got to be a solution other than that." Going on to say, "I don't think we should be doing that." Adding, "I think it's always irresponsible if you’re running the government to be advocating for shutting it down." Christie’s a boob. Apparently he’s incapable of recognizing the seriousness of our situation here, which in my mind, disqualifies him from ever being considered as a successor to Barry "Almighty". We now have accumulated $17 Trillion worth of debt. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
The disagreement over a funding bill, as those who have been paying attention know, has focused primarily on Barry’s unaffordable Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, which begins enrollment early next week. House Republicans pushed through a provision in the temporary spending plan to defund Obamacare. ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid has said he'll strip the defunding language before bringing the continuing resolution to a vote in the Senate, producing clean legislation amenable to the Democratic majority, which would then be sent back to the House for final passage, just days before the deadline.
And those Republican leaders, whom Christie identifies as being irresponsible, have said they'll reject the temporary spending plan the Senate is expected to pass. Christie noted in the interview he doesn't hear "responsible Republican leaders advocating for a shutdown of the government", a clear swipe at the Tea Party conservative wing of the GOP. I guess I’m a little curious regarding who it is that Christie might not think is a "responsible Republican leader." Am I to assume that Christie views ‘Dingy’ Harry’s use of sleazy tactics as being something that would make him a responsible leader? Whoops, another disqualifier for 2016.
I mean, we know that after some pretty public clashes, Christie has a rather low opinion of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul. But I’d side with Paul any time before choosing to stand with Christie. But Christie still says that he thinks lawmakers will come to an agreement to avoid a shutdown. "I'm confident they will," Christie said. "Because I don't think anybody wants to go down that road." Well gee, where would we be without the brilliant political insight of Chris Christie? This guy should stick to New Jersey politics and steer clear of what’s going on in Washington. We really don’t need any more RINO’s mucking things up!
Besides, and I could be wrong here, but from my point of view, the rotund one from Jersey just might want to focus a bit more of his time and energy on the fact that New Jersey is now experiencing a rather significant shortage of doctors. In fact, it’s projected that by 2020 the Garden State will be about 3,000 primary care physicians short of what is needed to give optimal health care. And, dare I say, it is an issue that is sure to become much more of a problem that is, and in no small way, directly related to what’s now being discussed in Washington. Many doctors are choosing to retire early to escape having to deal with Obamacare.
There are other reasons, of course, for why are doctors fleeing the Garden State According to Deborah Briggs, the President and CEO of the Council of Teaching Hospitals, New Jersey loses nearly 70% of the doctors it educates to other states. This is well below the national average of a 48% retention rate. In other words, in 2013 New Jersey only kept about 34% of the doctors who were educated and trained in the state. The Council of Teaching Hospitals and a nationwide study done by Merritt Hawkins, says New Jersey is just not competitive when it comes to keeping doctors in state. You’d think Christie could do something about that!
The top five reasons for physicians leaving are: 1) Better salary offered outside of New Jersey; 2) Cost of living in New Jersey; 3) Better job/practice opportunities in desired locations outside of New Jersey; 4) Taxes in New Jersey; 5) Affordable Housing. Now a couple of Assemblywomen, doing what Christie should be doing, recently gathered doctors, residents, hospital managers, and specialist at Jersey Shore Medical Center to discuss New Jersey’s doctor drain. The room was filled with 40 or so doctors who also added malpractice insurance issues to the list, explaining that it’s just too expensive to start a practice there.
The bottom line here is, at least as far as I’m concerned, rather than working to insert his rather substantial girth wherever he can manage, in an effort to gain more name recognition for himself, he might want to find time to focus more of his attention on what some would say is a burgeoning crisis right there in his home state, that being the previously mentioned shortage of doctors. There are actions he could take as governor that might entice doctors to remain in New Jersey rather than make a mad dash for the border as soon as they are able. But nope, he’d rather harangue the Tea Party Republicans in Congress. Good job Chris!

THAT’S ONE BIG “IF”…
Sen. Ted Cruz was heard to say, just today, on a conference call that even if the Senate passes a continuing resolution (CR) that permits funding of Obamacare, the fight to defund it is not over. That’s because, he says, Obamacare cannot be funded unless the Republican-controlled House of Representatives agrees to do it. Cruz said, "House Republicans can, and I believe should, continue to stand their ground." He added, "And, so, if the House holds firm, Harry Reid has no ability to muscle the House of Representatives—if they stand their ground." And therein lies a mighty big ‘IF’. Because since assuming control of the House after the 2010 election, our less than impressive Republican leadership has been more than willing to quickly cede their ground on nearly every important issue.
Cruz said that the cloture vote the Senate will hold Friday on the House-passed version of the CR is the "most important" vote that senators will cast this year. In his view, that is because if at least 41 of 46 Republicans do not vote against cloture, and thus prevent the bill from coming to a final vote in the Senate, ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid, at this point in time, will be able to get simple majority vote of at least 51 Democrats to attach an amendment to the CR stripping the language defunding Obamacare. Nonetheless, sounding ever the optimist, Cruz said, if that happens the fight is not over because the bill must then go back to the House, and Obamacare cannot be funded unless the Republican-controlled House agrees to it. Well, that all sounds fine in theory, but I ain’t holding my breath.
"Number one, if enough Senate Republicans on tomorrow’s cloture vote decide to vote with Harry Reid and grant cloture to give Harry Reid the authority to fund Obamcare, that does not mean the fight is over," said Cruz. "It means Harry Reid will pass out of the Senate a continuing resolution that funds Obamacare, but it still goes back to the House." Cruz went on to say, "And even if Senate Republicans have not shown the same strength of will that House Republicans have shown, that doesn’t mean the fight is over because House Republicans can, and I believe should, continue to stand their ground." He added, "So, if the House holds firm, Harry Reid has no ability to muscle the House of Representatives—if they stand their ground." House hold firm? Just not seeing it.
Cruz said, "I have said before I think the most important role that I can play that [Sen.] Mike Lee [R.-Utah] can play, that others can play, is to serve as a cheerleader encouraging and supporting the House Republicans to stand with the American people," said Cruz. "Because the continuing resolution that the House passed reflects the strong will of the American people who understand that Obamcare is not working." But since when has the will of the people ever had much of an impact on what happens in Congress? The fact that Boehner & Co. actually took the step to defund, was a fluke. ‘Dingy Harry’ is just gonna throw it right back at them and I have little doubt that upon receipt they’ll quickly fold like a cheap suit, the will of the people be damned. But we’ll see, maybe I’m wrong. I hope so!
PETE KING…WHINER…
You know, I really used to really respect this guy, especially when it came to stressing the importance for this country to effectively combat radical Islamic terrorism. He held some hearings that, I thought, were necessary and useful. But recently he’s been making the kind of noise that one would normally expect to hear from some scum-sucking Democrat. For one thing, he’s been very busy criticizing Ted Cruz, and was recently heard whining a bit about some phone calls that his office has supposedly received. He complained that supporters of the Texas senator have been bombarding his office with what he referred to as being, "vile" phone calls. Come on, Pete, stop being such a damn crybaby, and suck it up and deal with it!
And in what I thought was a little uncalled for, Pete actually referred to Cruz as a fraud for his calls to defund Obamacare, and said the senator’s campaign this summer to get the House to pass a government funding bill that defunds the health care law led to some offensive phone calls to his office. "The vehemence of the phone calls coming into the office. I don’t care, people can call me whatever they want … I haven’t heard such vile, profane, obscene language," King whined on MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" on Thursday. Come on, he’s from New York, I doubt that there’s much in the way of language that he hasn’t heard. And I’d argue that he’s brought it all on himself by describing Cruz in the manner that he has?
King said while the majority of Cruz fans are "good people," he’s concerned about what sentiments Cruz has preyed on. "I’m not saying Ted Cruz is responsible for all his supporters, but he has tapped into a dark strain here in the American political psyche here, and again, the most obscene, profane stuff you can imagine all from people who say they support the Constitution," King said. "I think what we have to do is reach out to his people and let them know that they’re following a false leader here." You know, maybe if he were to spend a little less time whining, and a little more time on trying to get rid of the boondoggle of Obamacare, we just might get rid of it. I think it’s time for Pete to quit whining and put his big boy pants on.
Anyway, it seems to me that old Pete, here, has developed a bit of a thin skin. And most likely there’s more than just a little exaggeration in his claims of receiving ‘nasty’ calls. And to portray Cruz as being a false leader I think is taking things just a bit too far. Now I’m not saying I believe King, but if he has been on the receiving end of some heated phone calls, he really shouldn’t be all that surprised. People are fed up with guys like King continuing to give away the farm to the Democrats, and Cruz has demonstrated that he’s ready, and willing, to fight. That’s what people WANT. Someone who will FIGHT! And if Pete can’t bring himself to be part of the solution, then he shouldn’t be surprised if folks see him as being part of the problem.

WE’VE GOT TO STOP THIS OBAMA INSANITY…
As I have asked on any number of previous occasions, does anyone ‘really’ think that Barry cares, even for a second, what his job-approval rating is? Do you think he goes to bed every night thinking about the many Americans who see him as a man out to destroy their country? Personally, I don’t think it bothers him anymore than a cloudy day. He is where he’s gonna be for the next 3+ years and there’s not a damn thing that we can do about it. And he’s got douche bag ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid, watching his back in the Senate and Nancy ‘I’ve Had A Bit Too Much Botox’ Pelosi stirring up as much hate and discontent as she can over in the House, so Barry, no doubt, sees himself as being in fat city.
But be that as it may, Barry’s job-approval rating has fallen to its lowest level since 2011, which is said to be a reflection of both the public's disapproval of his clashes with Congress on the issue of spending and a growing opposition to Obamacare. At least that’s what two new polls would seem to indicate. According to the Bloomberg National Poll of 1,000 adults conducted Sept. 20-23, the president has a 45 percent job-approval rating, while a Gallup survey of 11,259 adults taken Sept. 1-22 gives him 44 percent. The Gallup survey seemed to show that Barry is rapidly losing support within his own party, but I’m not so sure that that bother’s all that much either.
While he’s still supported by an impressive 78 percent of Democrats, he has lost 13 points from a high of 91 percent in the month after his re-election. "Loss of support from a president's core supporters is an ominous sign, as they are typically the last group to abandon the president when things go sour," Gallup said in a statement. I guess I don’t get what’s so ominous about it. I mean, what’s Barry got to worry about? Gallup says, "Obama still enjoys the support of the vast majority of Democrats, 78 percent, but that is down 13 points from the end of last year and is 6 points below his average 84 percent approval rating from Democrats throughout his presidency." Let’s face it, Barry couldn’t care less!
While the two polls may have been bad news for the president, they were said to be even worse for Republicans. Which, I would argue, simply reveals the level of ignorance possessed by those who took part in both polls. Respondents to the Bloomberg survey, for example, blamed both Barry "Almighty" and congressional Republicans for the partisan mess in Washington over spending and the debt limit. But they still give the president a better favorability rating at 47 percent to Republicans' 34 percent. So at a time when we have a president determined to spend us into bankruptcy, people seem to get more pissed when any attempt is made to say no to the spending. I’m just not seeing the logic there.
The American people are going to have to come to some sort of a realization here that we simply cannot go on spending like we have been. We are, at some point, going to have to throttle back, and the longer we wait to do that the more painful it’s going to be. And they need also be mindful of the fact that it’s not going to be very long before we reach that much talked about point of no return. That point after which we can cut all the spending that we want, but where the damage done will have been so extensive, that there’ll be just no way to fix things. So we can get mad at the Republicans, but right now, like it or not, they’re all that lies between economic survival and certain economic ruin.
Which brings me to asking this question: Just how much more damage are Barry and the Democrats going to have to do before enough people start placing more of the blame where it rightfully belongs. Now I’m not saying that the Republicans have clean hands here, but perhaps if more folks were to make it known that they would be willing to support the truly tough measures that we all know are going to be necessary, more Republicans might be willing to actually push for them. For instance, suppose the majority of Americans got behind the notion that if a government shutdown, which is really not a shutdown, is what’s necessary to get us back on track then, so be it, shut the government down.
But NO! Far too many Americans believe the lying, scum-sucking Democrats and their many minions in the state-controlled media. These same folks choose to ignore, completely, the consequences of doing what it is that the Democrats want to keep doing. SPEND! We have to get together and tell Barry "Almighty" & Co. to go fu*k themselves. If we need to shut down the government then we should be in favor of doing just that. We won’t like it, but, at this point, we’ve really been left with no alternative. And we would also need to come together as Americans and tell our politicians, both Democrat and Republican that if they refuse to do what’s necessary, we WILL vote out all those that we can in 2014.
The bottom line here is that those Americans who are truly interested in rescuing their country before Barry manages to drive it over the cliff, are going to have to put their respective party labels aside. We are going to need to cease being Democrats or Republicans, it gone beyond that now. We need to be, Americans. That’s our only hope. It’s either that or we continue to sit around and tell the boobs who take polls who we think is to blame for the mess that we’re in. But the truth is, we’re to blame. We’re the ones who have somehow allowed ourselves to be convinced that there’s such a thing as "free money." But there ain’t no such thing. That ‘free money’ is actually coming from our kids.
There’s plenty of blame to go around, but over the course of the last four years I think it’s plain to see who the bigger culprit is when it comes to spending. We had one party who was intent upon spending money faster than it could be printed and another party too squeamish to do anything about it. We were far too willing to believe the rhetoric that said all we needed to do was to just tax those rich fat cats a little more. But no one seemed to stop and think about the fact that it’s many of those same rich fat cats who create many of the jobs in this country. And the more money they’re forced to hand over the government, the fewer jobs they will be able to create either through their own businesses, their investments or by the purchases that they make.
Well I suppose I’ve rambled on long enough here. The only point that I’ve been trying to make here is that maybe we should all spend a little less time answering stupid polls that really don’t matter, and start focusing on those things that do matter, a lot. The Democrats do not have a solution for what’s needed, if our goal here, truly is to save our country. That’s because they are much too intent upon destroying it. That only leaves us with the Republicans. Granted, that’s not much, but it’s really all we have. We’ll need to use the Ted Cruz’s, the Mike Lee’s, the Rand Pauls’s to make our case for us and to convince as many others as possible to see the light and to get onboard. If we don’t, WE’RE TOAST!

FILE THIS ONE UNDER: JUST WHAT PLANET IS THIS MORON FROM???
Proving yet again that there is absolutely no lie that Democrats will not tell in their continuing effort to convince people that Obamacare is some great and wondrous thing, we have moron Barbara Lee from, where else, California, who in a rather heated exchange with Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Republican, on "Meet the Press" Sunday, insisted that Obamacare is reducing health care costs. "Health care costs are going down….they’re going down for the first time in 50 years," Lee stated emphatically. This is an old Democrat tactic, lie often and lie loudly and eventually the less intelligent folks will come over to your side.
"No they’re not. They’re escalating," Ms. Blackburn countered, interrupting Lee. "They’re through the roof." And there is an abundant amount of evidence available that makes it quite easy to determine which one of these two ladies is lying. Well, since ladies don’t lie, what we really seem to have here is a lady and a scum-sucking Democrat. And it was earlier in the program that Lee made the rather idiotic, and patently false argument, that millions of "people right now are benefiting from the Affordable Care [Act]," which, you’ll recall, Congress passed in 2010 without a single Republican vote.
"They’re being hurt by it," Ms. Blackburn interjected. To which the lying sack of shit Lee responded, "They’re not being hurt by this." So who’s right? Well if, unlike Ms. Lee, you’re interested in actual facts, then according to The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index, (CPI), which measures the average change in prices for basic goods and services, including food, energy, transportation, housing and health care, the answer to that question would be obvious. Because it would be Ms. Blackburn. Lee is doing nothing more than what Pelosi did back when she said we’d needed to pass it to see what’s in it. LIE!
Over the past year, the cost of all goods and services here in America rose 1.5 percent. But, despite what Ms Lee, the Democrat, would have us believe, costs for medical services rose more than 3 percent during the same time period, or more than twice the CPI’s average rate of inflation. Obviously the esteemed Ms. Lee is no brighter than many of her fellow House Democrats, such as Shelia Jackson Lee, Corrine Brown, Eleanor Holmes, Marcia Fudge and Frederica Wilson to name just a few. The collective brainpower of this little cadre wouldn’t light up your average appliance bulb. And yet people seem to be willing to believe them.
In addition, we have the Office of the Actuary at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that recently issued its "National Health Expenditure Projections 2012-2022," which noted that "health spending growth through 2013 is expected to remain just under 4.0 percent." The cost increase is lower than expected, "due to the sluggish economic recovery, continued increases in cost-sharing requirements for the privately insured, and low growth for Medicare and Medicaid," CMS noted. But next year things will be turning pretty ugly, pretty fast. But of course you’ll hear none of that from the disgusting Ms. Lee.
Because next year overall health care costs are forecast to increase a pretty significant 6.1 percent because of "improving economic conditions, the Obamacare coverage expansions, and the aging of the population, drive faster projected growth in health spending in 2014 and beyond." The same report also predicts that "health spending is projected to grow at an average rate of 5.8 percent from 2012-2022, 1.0 percentage point faster than expected average annual growth in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP)." Again, this is not the kind of information that Ms. Lee and her fellow Democrats want to bring to the forefront.
According to CMS, aggregate health care costs under Obamacare will: 1) Grow an average of 6.2 percent per year through 2022; 2) Increase cumulative health spending in the U.S. by roughly $621 Billion over the next decade; 3) Consume 19.9 of GDP by 2022, compared to 17.9 percent in 2011. "The primary emphasis of the health law is to reduce the number of uninsured," University of Southern California health policy Professor Glenn Melnick told the Los Angeles Times. "It has limited ways to achieve cost containment. We should be realistic that the law will not substantially slow down spending." Tell that to Ms. Lee!
So I’ll ask again. Just what planet is this moron, Barbara Lee, from? I mean here we are being inundated with all manner of proof, that is essentially undeniable, telling us this train wreck of Obamacare, is truly that, a train wreck, yet the Democrats, including this loon Lee, continue to deny it. Instead they feel completely justified in referring to that mountain of evidence as being nothing more than fear-mongering coming from opponents of the ‘law.’ If in fact this is such a great idea then why is it that Ms. Lee and her colleagues have found for themselves a way out of it? Either we’re ALL going to be in it, or none of us should be!
Finally I’d just like to say that I’m really getting fed up with being treated like some sort of second class citizen who is presumed to be too stupid to take care of himself and therefore needs the government to do the job for me. People like this Lee character turn my stomach. She like the rest of her cohorts in the Democrat Party hate this country, and have made it quite clear that they are now on a mission to destroy it. People like her used to be a little more covert in their sinister activities, but in this age of Barry "Almighty" they are now free to operate in the full light of day and right under our noses. They are a pathetic bunch, these Democrats, as is anyone who votes for them.

OBAMACARE…EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS…NOT!
Here’s some food for thought for all those out there who remain of the opinion that the Republicans are doing nothing more than spinning their wheels with their effort to defund Obamacare. The reasons why this needs to be done are as plentiful as they are apparent. First, let’s begin with what was one of most vivid and concrete campaign promises we heard uttered by Barry the candidate. It was when he made the solemn pledge on June 5, 2008: "In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year….. We’ll do it by the end of my first term as President of the United States." Well, as they say, truth is very often stranger than fiction. Unfortunately, the experts working for Medicare’s actuary have again reported that in its first 10 years, Obamacare will boost healthcare spending by "roughly $621 billion" above the amounts Americans would have spent had this horrendous law never been enacted.
And I can almost hear you all asking, "What might this mean for your typical family of four." I mean, after all, $621 Billion is an amount a little hard to comprehend. Most folks, I assume, might be interested in finding out how this number translates over to a typical American family, the very family that candidate Barry promised would actually see $2,500 in annual savings and as far as the eye could see. Well, you take the latest year-by-year projections and divide by the projected population and then multiply the result by 4. Sounds simple, right? Anyway, this approach allows us to see just how badly Barry’s promise, one more on a long list of many, fell far short of his mark. Between 2014 and 2022, the increase in national health spending, which the Medicare actuaries specifically attribute to the law, amounts to $7,450 per family of 4. What, you say? No way, you say? Yes way!
So now we’ll have to hope that this family, and millions others like it, hasn’t already spent or borrowed the $22,500 in savings that they might have expected over this same period had they taken candidate Barry’s promise at face value. But in truth, no intelligent American ever should have believed such an absurd promise, especially coming from such an unseemly character as Barry. At the time, even Factcheck.org charitably deemed this claim as being "overly optimistic, misleading and, to some extent, contradicted by one of his own advisers." Yet rather than learn from his mistakes, Barry "Almighty," as recently as July 16, 2012, essentially doubled-down on his promise, assuring small business owners "your premiums will go down." He made this assertion despite the fact that in three separate reports between April 2010 and June 2012, the Medicare actuaries had demonstrated that the ACA would increase healthcare spending.
But hold your horses folks, because with the arrival of 2014 things get much worse when that burden increases ten-fold. Because as it turns out, the average family of 4 has only had to face a relatively modest burden from Obamacare over the past four years, or just a little over $125. Unfortunately, this year’s average burden ($66) will be 10 times as large in 2014 when Obamacare fully kicks in in earnest. And it will rise for two years after that, after which it hit a steady-state level of just under $800 a year. Of course, all these figures are in nominal dollars. In terms of today’s purchasing power, this annual amount will rise steadily. In the interests of fair and honest reporting, perhaps it’s now time for the mainstream media to begin using "Affordable" Care Act whenever reference is made to this terribly misguided law. Doing so would make it all the more apparent how this law is actually anything but.
Anyone is obviously welcome to take exception to the numbers of the Medicare actuary, and I’m sure most Democrats, being the ones who dreamed this whole thing up, will. But it’s difficult to challenge their central conclusion, Obamacare will not save Americans one penny now or in the future. And perhaps voters could better serve themselves by being just a little less eager to believe politicians making such grandiose claims and a little more eager to protect their wallets. Until then, let’s spare strapped Americans from having to find $657 in spare change between their couch cushions next year. Let’s defund this Rube Goldberg device known as Obamacare, and set to work on removing the government from the healthcare business. For a nation with the most complicated and expensive health system on the planet, making it even more complicated and even more expensive is just a dumb idea.
The ridding ourselves of Obamacare has got to remain our top priority despite all of the naysayers telling us that we’re only wasting our time. They are cowards and, obviously, they’re afraid of a fight. All they seem to be worried about are their own worthless backsides. Every American should now be screaming at the top of their lungs in support of the Republican effort to defund this catastrophic law. And we should view a government shutdown, if it comes, as being a very small price to pay for ridding ourselves of it. We need to stay on top of guys like Boehner and Cantor so they don’t go squishy on us, as well, we need to stay in constant contact with our own members of Congress. We cannot afford to let up for a second, this is simply too important of an issue. So much depends on our being able to erase this horrible law, and to replace it with something that genuinely improves our healthcare system and completely removes the government from having any control of it.

I GUESS JUST ABOUT ‘ANY’ BLACK PRESIDENT WILL DO, NO MATTER HOW BAD…
Ramping up some of his typically favorite racially charged rhetoric, geared specifically for the audience to which he was speaking, something he has always been quite good at, Barry made sure to highlight the usual themes of civil rights and social justice. It was in a speech this past Saturday, that Barry made the point that until the U.S. becomes a place where anyone who is willing to work hard can earn a way into the middle class "we can't let up and we can't rest." In making references to those who want to work, Barry may have been speaking to the wrong crowd here. And what Barry managed to leave out of his little attempt at pandering to this primarily black crowd, was the rather inconvenient truth that black unemployment has literally exploded during his tenure as president, having now worked its way well into double digits.
"We can't rest until we offer new ladders of opportunity for anyone willing to climb them," Barry said in a keynote address to the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Foundation's annual awards dinner. "Over the last 30 years, upward mobility in this country — the idea that if you work hard, you can get ahead — has slipped out of reach for too many Americans. And that's especially true in communities with large African-American populations." But again, Barry failed to mention, and it matters very little whether intentional or not, that the primary reason that that is now even the case, has an awful lot to do with the policies that he himself has put into place. The black community has been made to suffer greatly under the supposed leadership of our own black president. His policies have made it nearly impossible for our economy to actually grow.
Barry hewed to the theme of the dinner, which this year celebrated the "Spirit of 1963," including the civil rights movement and the March on Washington for Jobs and Justice led 50 years ago at the Lincoln Memorial by Martin Luther King Jr., and the advances it brought about for black Americans. Topping the list of achievements is Barry's election in 2008 as America's first black president. To be honest with you, I’m still more than a little confused regarding just why it is that the black community can actually view the electing to this particular black president as being an accomplishment that you’re average black American can rightfully be proud of. Is it truly all about nothing more than color, that, in effect, any black president will do? If that is in fact the case, is that not the height of stupidity?
Without talking about himself, which is something of a rare occasion for this president, Barry acknowledged progress made since 1963, but said there was more to be done. He spoke of work needed to reduce a black unemployment rate that is twice that of whites, increase the minimum wage and provide health care and education for all. "We must make this country a place where anyone who works hard can earn their way into the middle class," Barry told hundreds of his most ardent supporters packed into the Washington's convention center. "And until we do, we can't let up and we can't rest." But what he neglected to mention was his continuing to stubbornly refuse to let up on his war against those who comprise our small business community, the sector of our economy that creates the majority of jobs for blacks and whites.
Barry also took the opportunity to sound a note of caution about recent mass shootings, including at the Navy Yard in Washington last Monday where authorities say 12 people were slain by a gunman who later was killed by police. Two days ago in Barry's hometown, the murder capital of the country, of Chicago, 13 people were shot during a game of pickup basketball, including a 3-year-old girl. Barry, of course, again lamented the failure earlier this year to get gun legislation through the Senate and said "that means we've got to get back up and go back at it" to work harder than those he said want to make it easier for people to get firearms. He added, "We've got to work as hard as possible for the sake of our children."
Barry "Almighty" is scheduled to speak today, Sunday, at a memorial service for victims of the Washington shooting. An occasion I’m sure he will do his politically best to exploit to the greatest extent possible. And I’m sure, as with the Newtown tragedy, we’ll soon be hearing from many other Democrats who, I’m also quite sure, will be quite thrilled that the incident was so horrific, making it all the easier to be exploited to the fullest. Because this is the way Democrats work. They are determined in their efforts to deceive, distract and destroy. But hey, all that really matters is that we have a black president. We may have sky-high unemployment, an unfathomable amount of debt, an economy on the brink, and a world about to descend into a level of chaos unseen in recent years, but at least America has a black president.

HOUSE ‘GANG OF SEVEN’ IMMIGRATION PLAN GOES UP IN SMOKE…
ANOTHER AMERICA-HATING DEMOCRAT |
This undermines what were already the dwindling prospects for reform, because the House "gang of seven" plan, which would provide a path to citizenship but is significantly to the right of the Senate bill, was seen as a ‘comprehensive’ plan Republicans who genuinely want to solve the immigration problem just might coalesce around. But Gutierrez said that House Republicans on the gang of seven, who have been trying to negotiate comprehensive reform that members of both parties can support for a long time, are just not prepared to embrace a final plan. He blames House GOP leaders for not providing Republicans on the gang with sufficient support.
"The bipartisan group just wasn’t getting support from Republican House leadership," Gutierrez complained. "It’s just not gonna happen now." Gutierrez said that he continues to believe there is substantial tacit support for immigration reform even among Republicans, but that the GOP leadership refuses to acknowledge this or try to make something happen. "We need the GOP leadership to acknowledge the votes exist for reform," he said. If this was actually about reform, that would be one thing, but it’s not. What it’s about is granting amnesty and creating millions of new Democrat voters in the process. So this moron can peddle his crap elsewhere.
Immigration reformers had hoped for what they call a "bipartisan moment" on reform in October, after the government shutdown fight is resolved — one that could have involved rolling out the gang of seven plan. But Gutierrez cast doubt on the possibility, noting he doesn’t expect anything to happen with the gang’s bill "anytime in the near future." Democratic sources have said that they believe leading House Republicans on the gang, such as GOP Reps. John Carter and Sam Johnson, both conservatives who risked exposing themselves to potential blowback from the right, are now getting ready to publicly announce that the gang of seven plan just ain’t gonna happen.
So while it has been reported that Republicans on the gang have backed away from reform because they we catching heat from many of their conservative constituents who wanted more assurances on border security, Gutierrez maintains that those Republicans were prepared to support the emerging compromise, but didn’t because they simply didn’t have support from GOP leadership. "We had agreed on virtually everything," Gutierrez says. "The last components were enforcement components" that were down to differences over "nuances" and "language." The passing of any new immigration policy should not be about nuances. It should, first and foremost, be about adequately securing our porous borders.
But that doesn’t mean the battle is over. Instead, reformers are likely to focus on another possibility. House Republicans could roll out a series of piecemeal bills, including border security measures and citizenship for just the DREAMers, which House GOP leaders support. Something that has already been floated by Cantor. If such things were to pass, it’s possible the House and Senate could get to conference negotiations, an outcome some ‘reformers’ want. But really all that’s been presented in public sounds like nothing more than an end run around current objections regarding amnesty and border security. And something that makes me more than a bit nervous is the involvement in the House discussion of Chuckie Schumer.
But for that to happen, House Republican leaders would have to be willing to allow votes on these measures this fall, and more to the point, allow Republicans to enter into conference talks, which could mean further pressure to make concessions and compromise, something conservative opponents of reform are heavily resisting. And while it’s still unclear how House GOP leaders will proceed, they appear unwilling to move anything that isn’t supported by a majority of Republicans, and this is exactly how it should be. Scraping by with a majority of Democrats and just enough Republicans is not going to be acceptable. So Boehner and Cantor should put that little thought out of their heads right now!
So at this point in time it remains very possible that House Republican leaders will choose to simply let reform die, prioritizing their base over what some see as being the need to ‘repair’ GOP relations with Latino voters. But as I have said before, if our only way to entice Latino voters into the GOP is to allow those who have been breaking our laws, potentially for years, a free pass into our country, then maybe they are better suited to be members of the Democrat Party, where the breaking of our laws seems to be no big deal. Latinos have just as much at stake as do the rest of us should the economic and fiscal collapse currently being engineered by Barry and the Democrats takes place. So they need to decide what their priorities really are.
OLD NANCY MIGHT WANT TO LAY OFF THE ‘BOTOX’…
Barry "Almighty", whose been under fire, of late, from both Republicans, as well as many in his own party, was recently on the receiving end of what can only be described as being a rather glowing review from old ‘Stretch, Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi absolutely raved about the wonderful job that our embattled commander-in-chief is doing, going so far as to actually call him a "brilliant" and "eloquent" strategist. Which made me wonder if she was talking about the same Barry "Almighty" who we all loath and despise. And, as to be expected, she made the claim that Republican scorn was based on nothing more than simple jealousy. "You know why it is. You know why it is," she spewed. "He’s brilliant, … he thinks in a strategic way in how to get something done … and he’s completely eloquent. That’s a package that they don’t like." Ya know, on those rare occasions I find myself thinking about Barry the first word that usually pops into my head, isn’t brilliant. More often than not it’s something like, corrupt or socialist
So anyway, in this same little exchange, Ms. Botox went on compare the GOP vitriol that she sees as being directed at Barry to what she described as being the snobbish distaste she claimed some Republicans had for old ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton. She said, "They didn’t think he was one of them … because of his upbringing and his personal story of success," she charged " … Although he had the Ivy League and the Georgetown education, he wasn’t rooted where most of the former presidents came from." Well to be fair, I don’t think that’s quite accurate. Republicans didn’t view "BJ" as being one of them, because he wasn’t one of them . For one thing, he was a draft dodger, and for another thing he was having sex, and doing some rather unsavory things with a cigar, right there in the Oval Office, with a girl young enough to be his daughter. So I think it went a little further than a snobbish distaste. I’m sorry, but there is something distasteful about our commander-in-chief discussing matters of state while his favorite teenager is under his desk.
And Nancy sounded her typically arrogant self in saying that the GOP's initial plan to keep the government running past Sept. 30, including the defunding Obamacare provision demanded by conservatives, wouldn't fly with her caucus. And apparently, for the most part, I guess she was correct. Because in the vote today only two Democrats voted with the GOP. She said, "I call it the tea party continuing resolution, because they are obviously driving the ship. We can do it the hard way, well, we can do it not at all, which is the path that they’re on now." She added: "They don’t want our vote. I believe that the path the Republicans are on is designed to shut down government. … [T]he question is: Can they have their ideological dream come true, or will there be some voice of reason?" Talk about an ideological dream! Having the government in complete control of the healthcare that Americans can and cannot receive has been the ideological wet-dream of the Democrat Party going all the way back to FDR!
The bottom line here is that Pelosi is nothing more than a pathetic hypocrite. And regardless of what she says, I’m one of those who happens to be of the opinion, and I could be wrong, just like the Democrats made it their priority, while forsaking such things as our troubled economy, to literally shove this train wreck disguised as ‘reform’ through Congress by hook or by crook, and making it very obvious that they didn’t much want, need, nor care for, votes of Republicans, Republicans must now begin what is sure to be the very arduous task of ending this debacle, and, if necessary, in much the same manner. Stopping Obamacare has got to be priority number one. Democrats, just like today, will be presented with an opportunity to do the right thing, maybe not for their party’s agenda, but most definitely for the American people, by voting with the Republicans to scrap this thing and start over. With only two Democrats joining the Republicans in today’s House vote, most have now demonstrated whose side they are on.
And so it would now appear that Obamacare may very well be that one ‘red line’ that Barry "Almighty", and the Democrats in Congress, will go to the wall to enforce. But, look, what’s really going on here? The Republican House passed a continuing resolution that will keep the government running but Obamacare is not a part of it. Obamacare, according to Senator Max Baucus, a Democrat, is a train wreck on the American economy. And what Barry appears to be saying here, is that he will shut down this government with his veto if Republicans don’t send the money to cover the cost of this train wreck. And Pelosi’s compatriot ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid has said that the Democrats in the Senate will take nothing that does not have Obamacare in it. So if I have this right, Barry has admitted that he will not negotiate, and ‘Dingy’ has told Boehner don’t send anything that doesn’t contain Obamacare, and it’s still the GOP who will be blamed if the government shuts down? Talk about ‘liberal logic’!

DECISION TIME IS UPON US…
WHAT AN ARROGANT A**HOLE LOOKS LIKE |
The question as it was posed to the good senator went like this: "As implemented the Affordable Care Act, Obamacare, is forcing Christian individuals and business owners to purchase health plans that cover abortion-inducing drugs. Now as a result, people are going to be able to use those federal subsidies to buy plans that pay for abortions. Do you believe, Senator, you're going to be morally justified in voting, through the next continuing resolution, to give the administration more money to do those things?" To which this pompous boob wasted no time in responding, and in typical liberal fashion, with a very resounding, "Yes!" Which just goes to show you the twisted mentality that we are now up against. These are dangerous times!
According to the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, there are now over 200 plaintiffs who are challenging the implementation of Obamacare in court on the grounds that it violates Americans' First Amendment rights by requiring them to purchase health care plans that cover sterilization, contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs even if they are morally opposed. But if you’ve spent any time listening to such liberal luminaries as Dianne Feinstein lately, Democrat hag from California, you’ve heard it said that that which is outlined in the First Amendment is actually not a right, in fact, according to Ms. Feinstein, it’s more of a guideline. Which would, I suppose, if they were alive today, come as bit of a surprise to those brilliant men who conceived it.
So such is where we seem to have now arrived. The point where those in government apparently feel that they somehow have the power to dictate to us, "We the People", and that we simply have no recourse but to comply with their increasingly arrogant demands. When was it, exactly, that we lost control? When did we cease being the master and become the servant? We are headed down a slippery slope, my friends, and we’re rapidly running out of time if we hope to respond to this outrage in any meaningful way. We cannot afford to tolerate his type of arrogant behavior, we must waste no time on setting to work in our effort to nip it in the bud and we may already be too late! But we should not permit that to stop us from acting, and acting boldly.
It would seem that we are now being forced into a position where we will soon have to make a decision. We must decide if we are going to act, and very aggressively so, or if we are going to simply resign ourselves to the fact that we have become nothing more than the servants of those whom we ‘elect.’ And with each passing day our available options are being significantly reduced and the longer we allow ourselves to be lulled into what is nothing more than a terminal form of passivity, the less likely we are to be successful in any effort we may undertake to right this ship of ours that is now listing dangerously to the left. The goal of many of our ‘leaders’ is to keep us distracted just long enough, at least until we have passed that point of no return. And it won’t be long now.
CALLS FOR STRICTER GUNS LAWS ARE PURE POLITICS…
Well what do you know about that? ‘The Windy City’ may have now acquired a new nickname, that being ‘The Deadly City.’ Because, apparently, Chicago has now earned for itself, either in spite of, or because of, its strict gun laws, the title of murder capital of the U.S. So it is then that Chicago now sits atop a list on which no city would want to find itself, a list that points out that more homicides were committed in the ‘Windy City’ in 2012 than any other city in the United States, surpassing even the ‘Big Apple.’.
And that fact becomes al the more alarming when you stop and consider the fact Chicago has only one-third the population of the Big Apple. According to new crime statistics released Monday by the FBI, there were 500 reported murders in Chicago in 2012, which was a jump from the 431 recorded in 2011. New York topped out at only 419 murders last year, compared with 515 in 2011. And yet we’re constantly being told that if only we had stricter gun laws that would solve all of our problems.
Meanwhile, the numbers were also anything but good for two Michigan cities. In Flint, a city with a population of only 101,632, there were 63 murders in 2012, meaning that one in every 1,613 city residents were homicide victims. Detroit, which experienced 386 homicides in 2012, was almost as unsafe; that’s enough murders to account for one in every 1,832 residents. So our big cities, with their bizarre devotion to liberalism, and all of the misery that goes along with, continue to suffer needlessly.
There were fifteen cities that reported more than 100 murders in 2012. Alongside Chicago, New York and Detroit, we had Philadelphia (331), Los Angeles (299), Baltimore (219), Houston (217), New Orleans (193), Dallas (154), Memphis (133), Oakland (126), Phoenix (124), St. Louis (113), Kansas City (105) and Indianapolis (101) had the busiest homicide departments. Washington, D.C., which once suffered some of the worst crime rates in the nation, reported 88 murders in 2012.
So it should be obvious that only thing Democrats, in their effort to put party politics above the safety of their citizens, have managed to do, is to turn our big cities into what are essentially nothing more than huge ‘gun free’ zones. They insist upon putting their citizens at risk by enacting stricter and stricter gun laws with the only result being escalating murder rates. And yet they stubbornly continue to advocate that allowing law abiding citizens to own a gun would only serve to make the situation worse. DUH?
So while folks continue to be denied their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, they are purposely left defenseless, being made to run what is nothing more than a gauntlet of those who are able to obtain a weapon by a less than legal means. It simply makes no sense, but when has that ever had an impact on Democrat policy making. I have a little suggestion here. How about we make the office space of every single anti-gun Democrat a ‘gun free’ zone, with NO weapons of any kind being permitted.
There are simply to stats that back up any of the claims being made by a majority of Democrats that stricter gun laws would reduce the number of deaths in this country that can be related to guns. The Democrat drive for increasingly tougher gun laws really has nothing whatsoever to do with public safety. If Democrats were truly interested in keeping people safe, they would be busy asking Barry "Almighty" why it is that his Justice Department is not enforcing gun laws already on the books. But they are not.

ANOTHER EPISODE OF THE ‘GAS BAG CHRONICLES’, FEATURING EVERYBODY'S FAVORITE 'GAS BAG', STENY HOYER…
Senile old Steny Hoyer, that pathetic sleaze-bag from the People’s Republic of Maryland, rarely if ever actually makes any sense. But it was just this past Tuesday that he was heard making even less sense than usual. Because in discussing the upcoming fiscal battles that are sure to take place in the House, he used the act of hostage-taking as his metaphor of choice in describing the need to once again raise our, already too high, debt limit. He actually went so far as to use Ronald Reagan as his example. Which was rather strange, I thought. But then, it seems that whenever Democrats are looking for a good example for justifying something they want to do, they never look to their own. It's never Carter or Clinton who are used as being their example.
"Ronald Reagan agreed on that so that almost all the leaders and certainly every former Republican president believes that taking that hostage is a hostage you do not want to create," Hoyer said while explaining that it would be "dangerous" for Republicans not to extend the debt limit. Hoyer added, "Taking that hostage that if you kill that hostage would kill the economy and undermine the stability of the country and give to the world an extraordinarily negative view of the United States’ ability to manage its own affairs," Hoyer added. Steny needs to come down from whatever trip he's on and realize that the world already has a negative view of this country. And after having gone four years without a budget it's become fairly obvious that we can't manage our own affairs.
Personally, I thought the fact that Hoyer made his rather idiotic hostage comparison just one day after a gunman killed 12 people and injured 20+ others in a shooting at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. was a little inappropriate, even distasteful. But then, he is a brain dead Democrat, so I'm sure it never even occurred to him. Steny's idiotic attempt to compare hostage-taking with raising the debt limit came in response to something that some doofus by the name of Ben White, who I guess is the host of Politico’s Morning Money Breakfast Briefing, had said. White started the bizarre exchange by saying, "Speaking of hostage taking, if you take hostages, the only way that scenario works is if you’re willing to kill the hostage."
White then proceeded to ask Hoyer, "On the debt limit, do you think there is a real risk that we get very close to the point of being unable to borrow further with the Treasury and to default given the differences on the fiscal issues and insistence of many Republicans on either defunding Obamacare or cutting spending in a way the Democrats would never expect?" And he followed up asking, "Is this a riskier scenario than we’ve seen previously given how polarized the two parties seem to be right at this moment?" Hoyer claimed it was "riskier" because of what House Speaker John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor were trying to do on the continuing resolution. I see the greater risk in our continuing to borrow even more money.
Hoyer said, "You saw Heritage and Freedom Works and Club for Growth, all very energized and a very hard line, we’re-going-to-score-this-vote mode." He went on to say, "All which, as I said, Republicans for the most part are concerned not about generals but about primaries, and they’re concerned about funding from these very, very hard-line right groups, right-wing groups – incorrect groups, but right-wing groups. And I think that in that context, we’re at greater risk." He added, "The irony is that Boehner and Cantor would both tell you if they were on this stage not extending the debt limit is an irrational, dangerous, economically devastating policy. My presumption is McConnell would say the same thing. He has said the same thing in the past."
In bringing up Reagan I guess Hoyer was making reference to a Sept. 26, 1987, radio address to the nation on the federal debt ceiling increase and deficit reduction, in which Reagan said, "Unfortunately, Congress consistently brings the government to the edge of default before facing its responsibility. This brinkmanship threatens the holders of government bonds and those who rely on Social Security and veterans benefits." He added, "Interest rates would skyrocket, instability would occur in financial markets, and the federal deficit would soar. The United States has a special responsibility to itself and the world to meet its obligations. It means we have a well-earned reputation for reliability and credibility -- two things that set us apart from much of the world."
But look, the bottom line here is that as much as Steny and his fellow Democrats might wish it were so, this is not 1987. It's 2013 and never before in our nation's history have we had the level of out-of-control spending that has been underway over the course of just the last 4 years. And without a budget of any kind. So this pompous old gas bag can throw around Ronald Reagan as much as he wants, but I don’t think what Reagan said over 25 years ago applies to the situation that we have today. The Democrats have now essentially turned our ballooning debt into what is nothing more than a suicide mission for the country. There has to be an end point to all of this insane spending, and there can be no better time than right now to say this much and no more.
THE "FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION" OF AMERICA CONTINUES, UNABATED...
ALL GOING ACCORDING TO PLAN |
In 2008, the year our "Dear Beloved Leader" was first elected, real median household income stood at $53,644. And just four short years later, after being made to endure the last full year of Barry’s first term, median household income had dropped to $51,017. So, in an effort to make it simple enough for the average Barry voter to understand, real median household income dropped $2,627, or 4.89 percent, from 2008 to 2012. In fact, real median household took a serious hit in every year of Barry's first term. In 2008, when he was elected, it was $53,644. In 2009 it dropped to 53,285, in 2010 it dropped to $51,892, in 2011 it dropped to $51,100, and, in 2012 it dropped to $51,017. Quite the record of accomplishment for Barry.
At the same time, this was going on, the number of people living in poverty in the United States increased rather dramatically. In 2008 there were approximately 39,829,000 people living in poverty in this country. And again after four years of Barry', in 2012 there were 46,496,000. For all you Barry voters, that's an increase of approximately 6,667,000, or 16.73 percent, just from 2008 to 2012. The number of people in poverty increased during three of the four years of Barry's first term. In 2008, there were 39,829,000 people in poverty, in 2009, it climbed to 43,569, 000, in 2010, it climbed further to 46,343,000. Then in 2011, it dipped to 46,247,000, and in 2012, it climbed to an all-time high 46,496,000.
Another rather depressing indicator that makes apparent the level of progress that Barry has thus far achieved in accomplishing primary his goal of "fundamentally transforming" our nation is the fact that we now have a record 23,116,928 American households who are now enrolled in the federal government’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, aka food stamps, during the month of June. That information comes to us by way of some recently released data by the Department of Agriculture. And what kind of puts that into perspective is the fact that that number is greater than the 20,618,000 households that the Census Bureau estimated were in the entire Northeastern United States as of the second quarter of 2013.
Now according to the Census Bureau, the Northeast region of this country includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Thus, in June, the number of households receiving food stamps exceeded the total combined households in all of these states, combined. The 23,116,928 million households on food stamps in June also outnumbered the 15,030,000 home-owning households in the entire Western United States in the second quarter of the year and the 18,018,000 home-owning households in the entire Midwest. So here we are, living in what was once referred to as being the most prosperous nation on Earth and this is what we've become?
The record 23,116,928 households on food stamps in June also equaled 20.16 percent, or more than one-fifth, of all 114,663,000 households nationwide in the United States as of June, according to the Census Bureau. The 23,116,928 household on food stamps in June was an increase of 45,908 from the 23,071,020 household on food stamps in May. In fiscal 2009, the year Barry "Almighty" was inaugurated, there was a monthly average of 15,161,469 American households on food stamps. The 23,116,928 households on food stamps in June exceeded that 2009 monthly average by 7,955,459 households, or 52 percent. So, in June, there were 52 percent more households on Food Stamps than in the year Barry took office.
Under the stewardship of Barry "Almighty", America has become a mere shadow of it's former self. And we the American people have allowed it to happen. There should be rioting in the streets, endless calls for impeachment and unending calls to our members of Congress. The point must be made that, "We're mad as Hell, and we're not going to take it anymore!" Because if we do not rise up against that which is being perpetrated against us, then the perception will be that this is the kind of government that we actually want, in which case, things will only continue to be made worse. We must, before it's too late, take the opportunity to draw our own "red line", and we must vigorously make the point that we will tolerate no more of this behavior.
Obviously, the responsibility to rescue our country has now fallen to us, "We the People". The majority of our politicians can, quite frankly, no longer be trusted to do that which they were 'hired' to do. So like it or not, we're now going to be required to get our hands a little dirty. More than a few of us will have some pretty tough decisions to make, especially those of us to have grown somewhat soft, becoming quite comfortable living off the fruit of someone else's labor. But we must all refocus, so to speak, on what is the bigger picture here. If this great ship of America is made to sink, then we will all go down with it. And if that doesn't bother you, then simply stay at home and do nothing more than to wait for the end. Because the end is coming.
