OBAMA…ONCE AGAIN TAKES ARROGANCE TO NEW HEIGHTS…

Just in case any of us were about to forget just how arrogant our president really is, it was on Thursday that he saw fit to provide us all yet another brilliant demonstration of just how arrogant he can be. And in what I thought was behavior which was well beneath the dignity of his office, Barry actually chose to lecture the Republicans regarding what he described as being their "attitude" problem. This rather childish display of his came while he was speaking to an audience in The People’s Republic of Maryland, and Barry made it quite clear that it’s his opinion that there’s a group of Republican "extremists" who are now the only thing standing in the way of a "yes-or-no vote" on a continuing resolution to fund the federal government. Well, that wouldn’t really be an accurate assessment of things.

It was during this little tantrum of his that Barry supposedly quoted a House Republican as refusing to be "disrespected" by failing to "get something" out of the CR vote. To which Barry responded, and in typical juvenile fashion, by saying, "If you're being disrespected, it's because of that attitude you've got -- that you deserve to get something for doing your job." Adding, "Everybody here just does their job." You know, maybe, and I’m going out on a limb here, just maybe if, over the course of the last four years, our community agitator of a president had taken his job just a bit more seriously, and actually chose act like a leader and not just some kind of a spoiled brat, we wouldn’t be where we now find ourselves. But, nope, he just couldn’t bring himself to do it.

Barry prefaced his rather idiotic remarks, in his usual sophomoric manner, saying, "The only thing that is keeping the government shut down, the only thing preventing people from going back to work and basic research starting back up and farmers and small business owners getting their loans, the only thing that's preventing all that from happening, right now, today, in the next five minutes, is that Speaker John Boehner won't even let the bill get a yes-or-no vote because he doesn't want to anger the extremists in his party. That's -- that's all. That's what this whole thing is about." That is nothing more than pure Barry BULLSHIT! What’s keeping the government shutdown is the unwillingness of Democrats, including Barry, to compromise. THAT is what this whole thing is about.

Then Barry claimed to be quoting some unnamed House Republican: "I didn't make this up," Barry said: "One House Republican said, 'We're not going to be disrespected, we have to get something out of this, and I don't know what that even is.'" Barry repeated the quote and urged his audience to think about it: Speaking about House Republicans, he said, "You have already gotten the opportunity to serve the American people. There's no higher honor than that. You've already gotten the opportunity to help businesses like this one, workers like these. So the American people aren't in the mood to give you a goodie bag to go with it." Now wouldn’t you think that a 52 year old guy could act a little more mature? I mean, really. Who but his brain dead supporters will fall for his infantile drivel?

As part of his ridiculous little rant, Barry stupidly remarked that House Republicans should be content to put people back to work. "That's what you should be asking for," he said. "Take a vote, stop this farce, and end this shutdown right now." Well, why doesn’t that same logic apply equally to the ‘Dingy Harry’ and the Democrats? After all, it’s the Republicans have said they will fund all of government on a short-term basis, except for Obamacare, and ‘Dingy Harry Reid who has said nothing but NO!. Most Republicans view this as being their best chance to stop what they, and more than a few Democrats as well, have called a "train wreck." Republicans have rightly pointed out Barry’s lack of leadership, and specifically, his refusal to even try to bring the two sides together.

Just a brief word about this whole Obamacare fiasco. I’m really getting sick tired of hearing from Democrats about how it is that the unaffordable Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, has been legislated, adjudicated and reaffirmed by the American people by way of the last election. But that’s less than an accurate portrayal of the events as they have occurred. In "legislating" this train wreck, the Democrats used every political shenanigan available to them to shove it through Congress. And I think we all know full well how the law was, in being adjudicated by the Supreme Court, essentially rewritten. And I think it’s a stretch to claim that the last election was somehow a referendum on Obamacare when it was far from being the only issue. None of these arguments hold any water!
