THE CURRENT DEMOCRAT TIZZY…REAL OR IMAGINED???

Well, the fact that Barry "Almighty" once again has an approval rating back down into the 30s, according to Gallup, seems to have at some Democrats now running for Congress this fall a little worried. And at least according to The New York Times, one party lawmaker has gone so far as to describe our ‘Dear Beloved Leader’ as being somewhat "poisonous," while others said his political operation has done little to help struggling candidates. And even though much time has already been spent to downplay it, many Democrats are also fretting over last week's Republican victory in the special House election in Florida and the millions of dollars conservative groups are spending to attack Democrats for their supporting of Obamacare.

"I’m a prolific fundraiser, but I can’t compete with somebody who has got 50-some-odd billion dollars," Rep. Joe Garcia told the Times. The Florida Democrat, in his first term, has been pummeled by in more than $500,000 worth of negative TV ads by Americans for Prosperity (AFP) and other conservative groups over this support of Obamacare, the Times reports. AFP, which is backed by the billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch whom the Democrats have spending a great deal of time and their own money demonizing of late, spent $140,000 on ads targeting Garcia last November. He is being challenged by Republican Carlos Curbelo. "One hopes the cavalry is coming," Garcia told the Times. "One hopes the cavalry is coming."

I can only assume that by "the cavalry" Garcia can only be making reference to perhaps George Soros or any of the many other billionaires who are known to be very eager and quite willing to support leftists like Garcia who seem to be quite determined in their efforts to destroy our country. Anyway, for its report, the Times interviewed more than two dozen Democrats, legislators, supposed strategists and any and number of others, who contend that several challenges from Republicans this week, including David Jolly's surprise win over Democrat Alex Sink in the Florida special election on Tuesday, were developments that had not been anticipated by party officials. They had to have known it was possible, people hate Obamacare.

There has been much talk about that election, especially regarding the fact that Barry won that Florida district which had been represented by for nearly 42 years by Rep. Bill Young until his death last year, in both 2008 and 2012. And while some on our side have tried to claim that Jolly's victory can be, and should be, seen as a referendum on Obamacare, personally, I’m not quite ready to go that far. Because while Barry’s approval numbers may be in the basement, for now, Hitlery Clinton’s numbers have been on the rise. And we all know how she feels about socialized medicine. And James ‘Flaming Nutjob’ Carville has made it known that should she run and win in 2016, she would have no intention whatsoever of ridding us of Obamacare.

Apparently the Times also cited supposed Democratic concerns over the fact that former, Sen. Scott Brown's decision on Friday to explore challenging first-term Democrat Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in New Hampshire. Scott recently moved to the state from Massachusetts. It has been said that with Brown’s emergence onto the scene, that seat is now in play and could help tilt the Senate back to the GOP this fall. Another conservative superPAC, American Crossroads, co-founded by GOP strategist Karl Rove, pledged $650,000 toward Brown's effort. Shaheen has already called on Brown to sign the agreement that helped prevent outside groups from pouring millions of dollars into his last Massachusetts Senate election which Brown lost to ‘socialist dingbat’, Elizabeth Warren.

Now also according to the Times, conservative organizations have so far spent about $40 million this election cycle, compared to $17 million spent by thus far by Democrats. But as I said, Democrats have far more big money donors on their side, than we have on ours, and I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before the big bucks start flowing in. "Everyone is trying to send the signal: Don’t get ahead of yourself — 2016 is critical, but 2014 comes first," David ‘The Douche Bag’ Plouffe, Barry "Almighty’s" former campaign manager also told the Times. I’m not about to believe much of anything that I hear from the New York Times or, for that matter, any Democrat whining about the unfairness of a system clearly rigged in their favor.

Barry’s abysmal approval ratings, 41 percent in a Wall Street Journal/NBC Poll last week, matching a New York Times/CBS News survey in February and 39 percent in a recent Gallup poll, is another cause for concern. Any rating under 50 at midterm is said to spell trouble for the party in power. But look, such claims are made based on historical data that I have to wonder is even in play anymore. I mean, half our population no longer pays taxes and nearly half is now on some form of government ‘assistance’. How many of those geniuses would ever vote for anyone, midterm election or not, who might be willing to either start forcing them to pay ‘their’ fair share, or would be likely to place some sort of limit on their government goodies?

"The state of Democrats is very much tied to the state of the president — and in that regard, these are far from the best of times," or so Geoff Garin, a Democratic pollster, told the Times. Now I’m no political strategist or pollster, but I’m just not buying that concept. These days what millions of people are going to be doing is to vote for is the candidate that they view as being the one most likely to keep paying them not to work. And I think the fact that most Democrats seeking re-election are distancing themselves from Barry, with some now even going to far as to have asked disgraced president ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton to campaign for them, is really not much more than a political ploy designed to increase the odds that are already in their favor.
