PATH FOR TEA PARTY REQUESTS WENT THROUGH OBAMA APPOINTEE…

OBAMA'S 'BOY' OVER AT THE IRS
It seems that a fella by the name of William Wilkins, whose official title is chief counsel for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), was the same fella who oversaw the multi-layer review resulting in the delay of the tax exempt applications of Tea Party groups. And it just so happens, and I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, that this Wilkins character is also one of only two political appointees in the tax collection agency. According to the White House, Mr. Wilkins, here, "has a broad tax practice that includes counseling non-profit organizations." Congressional Republicans from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and the House Ways and Means Committee released a letter to the IRS on Tuesday detailing interviews with career IRS employees who stated that applications from Tea Party groups, that were ready for approval, were sent for ‘additional review’ that included going through this guy’s office.

Oddly enough, and I’m sure that this is also is nothing more than yet another coincidence, Mr. Wilkins has a rather long history with the Democrat Party, and has even worked with Barry’s former church, Jeremiah "God Damn America" Wright’s, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. In a April 17, 2009 press release that announced Wilkins’ nomination, Barry said, "He has a broad tax practice that includes counseling nonprofit organizations, business entities, and investment funds on tax compliance, business transactions, and government investigations prior to joining WilmerHale." That same press release also announced the nomination of Herbert Allison Jr. to be assistant secretary of Treasury for, of all things, financial stability and the counselor to Treasury Secretary Timmy ‘The Tax Cheat’ Geithner. Both positions that he his performed in a less than admirable manner.

Yet, it was in a written statement announcing the nominations of both Wilkins and Allison, that Barry said, "I am confident in the abilities of these two fine public servants as we work to turn our economy around and give American families the relief they need during these difficult times. Under the leadership of Secretary Geithner, they will work to serve the American people and bring their unique areas of expertise to the job as we work to put America on the path to prosperity." Well I think it quite safe to say that Barry couldn’t have been more wrong on that assessment. Because, if anything, these pathetic clowns demonstrated very little expertise and even less leadership, because America, today, is nowhere near to being on a path that will lead it to anything that will even remotely resemble prosperity. If we’re on a path to anywhere, it’s a path, and one headed downhill, to economic ruin.
