MARCO RUBIO: HE LIED TO US ALL!

AL SHARPTON, EVERYTHING A CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER, ISN'T...

Well once again everybody's favorite bogus preacher, and well-known professional race baiter, Al 'Bull Horn' Sharpton, has managed to demonstrate that he’s pretty much a waste of skin. Just yesterday Al took it upon himself to attack both the Tea Party and conservative talk show host, Glenn Beck. And how he did that was to describe it as being "really offensive" for Beck to compare the Tea Party movement to the civil rights movement. I thought old, sanctimonious, Sharpton was going to have a cow. I still find it pretty hysterical that this pathetic old loser can, and with a straight face, claim to be a civil rights leader. Especially when the only thing this pathetic fraud is interested, or is truly any good at, is finding new and creative ways for putting more coin in his pocket.

"I’ve been in civil rights all my life … and to equate civil rights to fighting these issues that have nothing to do with any rights that are denied, and it’s all about their polarization. It’s really offensive. I mean we can disagree, but we don’t miscast things as something that it’s not," Sharpton told the dozen or so viewers of his MSNBC ratings behemoth, "PoliticsNation." Actually, what he's been for most, if not all if his life, is a huckster, a flimflam man, and a racist thug under fulltime retainer to the Democrat Party. And essentially whenever asked to do so, he very cheerfully throws his own people under the proverbial bus and for no other reason than to guarantee that he's allowed to gain admittance to the party through the front door.

Sharpton likes to make the claim that he was youth director for the organization that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. founded and has been involved in it ever since. Yup, and I'd be willing to bet that if Dr. King were alive today, he would be just oh so proud of the cartoon character that Sharpton has become. I mean, let's face it, is there a self-professed civil rights leader anywhere, except for, of course, Jesse 'The Extortionist' Jackson, who is as far removed from Dr. King as is this buffoon, Sharpton? I just don't think so. And I can only assume that he thinks that by throwing around Dr. King's name it will somehow provide for himself a certain level of credibility the world of racial politics, and granted it does seem to works with those not wise to him.

In an effort to make his point, Sharpton even went so far as to show a clip of Beck saying, "This is a civil rights movement, and it’s time for us to start moving as a civil rights movement. We have to be willing to have the dogs be unleashed on us, because believe me – after what I saw today on the way they’re handling things at the Capitol, you’re not very far from having the same kind of oppression coming our way." Afterward, Sharpton nearly lost it, saying, "It’s unbelievable! He’s talking about imaginary unleashed dogs when the real heroes of the civil rights movement actually had to confront those dangers." And you can tell that Sharpton actually thinks of himself as being one of those heroes. But he’s just a loudmouth!

At last week’s Tea Party’s IRS rally, Beck made his case, 'Bull Horn' said, "but even as he talked about civil rights, the slogans on the signs told the story of fear and paranoia." Sharpton added, "It was similar to what we saw at previous Tea Party rallies, where this historic president was compared to a tyrant, accused of having a hit list. None of it slowed Beck down." Historic president? Really Al? Well, I take that back, because I suppose in one sense Barry can be considered as being rather historic. Because it’s only taken him a very short period of time, politically speaking, to get this country farther into the crapper than all 43 guys that came before him managed to do, combined. But I wouldn't call that historic, not exactly.

"Harriet Beecher Stowe, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Booker T. Washington, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Frederick Douglass’s time was in the 1800s. Martin Luther King’s time has passed. This is our time, and the long march towards civil rights is here," Beck said at the rally. Sharpton, in response to Beck’s statement that "Dr. King’s time has passed," made the claim that it was "just the opposite." Sharpton said, "His dream lives on in battles over voting rights and women’s rights and gay rights and economic justice – all things that the far right has tried to block, obstruct, or roll back." Now he may think he’s worthy, but I think it’s rather presumptuous to go around putting words in Dr. King’s mouth. But that’s the kind of guy he is.

Sharpton’s a joke. He’s a legend in his own mind. His ‘career’ as a ‘civil rights leader’ consists, pretty much, of nothing more than his spending decades spreading some of the most vile hatred imaginable. What he is, is a pathetic fraud who does nothing more than use people to make a dime. He's a racial hit man for the DNC and nothing more. And he’s constantly on the prowl for any stray microphone or television camera that he can stick his ugly mug in front of. And stop and think about it for a minute, if yours was a political party that professed to take the issue of discrimination seriously, would Al Sharpton really be your go-to guy for all things racial? And if so, why? I mean here's a guy who's responsible for inciting more racial hatred than just about anybody.

So about the only way this clown has to gain for himself any level of credibility from those he whom he claims to be out to protect, is to go after conservatives like Beck. And, of course, the Tea Party. But if black folks were ever to finally come to their senses, they would see, and pretty quickly, that's it's guys like Sharpton that they really should have been wary of, not guys like Beck. Sharpton makes money, and a lot of it, off of the suffering of blacks. Conservatives, on the other hand, have always been the ones firmly on the side of minorities. Because it’s conservatives who have a desire to see every single American, regardless of their race, become as successful as they can possibly be. But, you see, Al’s only interested in his own success, screw everybody else.

MORE IMMIGRATION MUMBO-JUMBO...

You know, I'm really getting tired of hearing from all these supposed political gurus how the failure to pass immigration reform in the House would somehow be devastating for the Republican Party. Apparently it seems to have been determined by these same gurus that it must now demonstrate to immigrants that it is a "different GOP." Different than what, exactly? Look, I'm still not convinced that we even need some 'new and improved' immigration reform, but if we're going to do it how about we at least do it the right way. Because what I do know is that we DO NOT need the legislation that was recently passed by the Senate, because that most certainly is NOT the right way! 'Rubio's Folly' provides nothing but amnesty, and was thoroughly bastardized from he get-go.

According to Larry Kudlow one of those previously mentioned political gurus, "I don’t think you do this just to get votes." Kudlow then went on to say, "You do this on principle and you do this on border security and economic growth." Still, there is a political dimension. He said Republicans must show the immigrant community they are open to immigration reform, "that this is a different GOP and that many of the prior statements are going to be erased and that the GOP will be a welcoming party." A welcoming party? You see, this is exactly the kind of drivel that I am getting so tired of hearing. Immigrants already have a choice, they can either continue to be lied to by Democrats, or they can finally act like adults and join us in the GOP.

Kudlow, served as associate director in the Office of Management and Budget under President Ronald Reagan and as chief economist at Bear Stearns, and is now one of those who makes the claim that immigration reform is somehow pro-growth. And while that may be, and I'm certainly no expert, this pork laden immigration monstrosity that was recently shoved through the Senate on a 68-32 vote, actually accomplishes very little, if anything, of what Mr. Kudlow says is now needed. And now we're being told that the House will very likely craft its own document. As well it should. But I gotta tell you, I have very little faith, and even less trust, in Speaker Boehner ability to come up with the type of legislation that accurately reflects what's actually needed.

In making reference to the House, even Kudlow said, "I don’t think it's going to buy into the omnibus Senate package." Immigration reform, if done properly isn't only pro-growth, he added, but also consistent with border security. "I worked for Ronald Reagan, I'm a disciple of Jack Kemp," Kudlow said. "My view is America should always be a shining city on the hill and we should be an example of economic freedom and political freedom. (If) people want to come here, they should be able to come here." Like that is somehow supposed to make a difference? And I don't disagree with any of what he said. But what I do disagree with is that the bill passed by the Senate does anything to accomplish the establishment of a workable immigration policy.

There are controversies inside the Republican Party, but they are "fixable," Kudlow said. "The Senate bill moved the ball in the right direction. Is it perfect? No. Do I understand every page of it? Heck, no," he said. But he seems to feel that the Senate bill does good things, and that America needs a larger labor force if it expects to grow. "That's why we could put legal immigrants to work, whether they're what I call the brainiacs or whether they're the lower income wage people in agriculture and retailing, Kudlow said. "They'll help our country to grow." His statement makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and sounds eerily similar to what we've heard from those who support the Senate passed fiasco. And what 'good' things does the Senate bill really do?

The bottom line here is that we have had, quite literally, millions of our fellow Americans who have made the move to leave the labor force since Barry first took office, and for no other reason that because they've simply given up trying to find work. And by the way, that would 10 million people, to be exact. And those are Americans who would love nothing more than to have a decent job. So really, his statement about America needing a larger labor force is nothing if not pretty idiotic and really has no basis in actual fact. I'm sorry but in order for me to be convinced that we actually need a 'new' immigration policy, guys like Kudlow are going to need to come up with a much better argument than the labor force one. Cause that one just ain't convincing!

THE FUTURE OF THE GOP, ACCORDING TO KARL ROVE...

Ok, so for the sake of argument, let’s just say that Karl Rove and the growing number of other Republicans are right. That the Republican Party simply has no hope of winning the 2016 presidential election by continuing to focus only on white voters without also securing at least a larger percentage of Hispanic supporters. But I'm still unclear how that makes the ‘Gang of Eight" immigration reform debacle worth my support. Because I think a better question to ask might be, why is it that any ‘new’ legislation is seen as being needed in the first place? Why can't we simply go back to simply enforcing those laws that we already have on the books? Wouldn't that make a whole lot more sense, and, be quite a bit cheaper as well? This really isn't rocket science. Is it?

Anyway, in a recent op-ed piece for the Wall Street Journal, Mr. Rove contends that even if the GOP were to win for itself a Reagan-type landslide among whites that would still not secure a victory, since whites now represent a significantly smaller share of U.S. electorate than they did back in 1984. "The upshot is that if Republicans hope to win the presidency in 2016, they need to do better with both white and Hispanic voters," he wrote. Ok, the fact is that while I don't argue with Mr. Rove's point here, but I do take exception to what he recommends that we now go about doing. That, I guess, we just go ahead and pass anything no matter how screwed up it is just to demonstrate to Hispanics that we feel their pain. How transparent would that look? Especially to Hispanics!

A GOP victory, or so Mr. Rove claims, would require a higher turnout of white voters, similar to the 2008 election; a 1 percent increase in the party's share of the white vote; and a "somewhat better" performance among Latinos, or roughly 35 percent. In 2012, our Republican nominee, Mitt Romney, got just 27 percent of the Hispanic vote. Rove said, "If the GOP leaves nonwhite voters to the Democrats, then its margins in safe congressional districts and red states will dwindle — not overnight, but over years and decades." Ok then, so where's the need for us rush headlong into bad immigration reform? And why is the only solution to the immigration 'problem', a 1000 page piece of legislation that is really nothing more than an ill-conceived, knee-jerk reaction?

Rove says that while GOP support for immigration reform would be a winning issue among Hispanics, Republicans also need compelling messages on the other top issues of the day. But in order for these 'compelling messages', to which Rove refers to, actually have any effect, you would first have the difficult, if not impossible, task of trying to convince Hispanics, and blacks, to understand that serious actions are now necessary if we are to successfully prevent ‘our’ country from going over the cliff. And personally, I just don't think that it matters all that much to them one way or the other if the country implodes or not, as long as they keep getting their checks, even if it's right up to the bitter end. Because that's really all that matters most to many of these people anyway.

So I guess, according to Rove, I'm simply expected to go along with this "Gang of Eight" monstrosity regardless of the fact that it is nothing more than an act blatant pandering. Sorry, but it just wouldn't be prudent to go along with what is essentially nothing more than an attempt to push through what is essentially, amnesty. Because, besides being so seriously flawed in so many obvious ways, being far too complicated and the fact that it does absolutely nothing to fix the growing problem of illegal immigration, it's still claimed to be just what we need to fix our current, and very broken, immigration system. If, as so many are saying, that reform is needed, why can't we sit down, and rationally discuss, like adults, what actually needs to be done and do it incrementally.

"Rarely does a political party overcome its challenges by improving just one thing. Republicans must do two things: turn out more white voters and improve their performance among Hispanics, African-Americans and Asian-Americans," Rove wrote. "The GOP has done both in every winning presidential campaign," he said. "The party of Lincoln, to win, must continue to do both." Ok, but what does that mean exactly, by saying that we must continue to do both. What all groups must first have in common is a desire to save the country, no matter what it takes. A task that gets much more difficult with practically each passing day. And yet, I fail to see any real sense of urgency coming out of the various minority communities, where it's seen as being more as a joke.

Look, I’ve argued this point until I'm practically blue in the face. I'm always told how it is that Hispanics, because of their more conservative values, are actually a natural fit for the Republican Party. Well if that were true, which I doubt, wouldn't you think that there would be a natural desire for them to affiliate with the Republican Party without much of anything ‘extra’ needing to be done to ‘entice them? Why not simply articulate how we, as conservatives, need to band together in an effort to address the growing problems that we now face us as a nation? And either they share our concern and our desire to come up with what are real solutions designed to protect their children's futures, or they don't. And if they don't, then I don't think that there’s a 'compelling message' that exists.

BEWARE OF THE TEA PARTY?

We have now been provided with further proof that the decades spent by our public schools failing to educate of our young, are now having the desired effect on our society. Because we've now arrived at a point where freedom loving Americans who cherish our Constitution are now considered much more dangerous than rag-headed, murdering religious practitioners of that supposed religion of peace. We have now, as a nation, truly gone round the proverbial bend, with proof of that coming from a recent Rasmussen poll.

Because according to Rasmussen, while half of all voters consider radical Muslims to be the bigger terrorist threat facing the nation, those who comprise the brain dead supporters of Barry, have identified a different villain, as they actually consider Tea Party folks to be just as big of a danger. So there you have it folks, those who believe in freedom, the Constitution, lower taxes and smaller government are now considered by some to be the bigger threat facing this country, rather than a bunch of murdering religious fanatics.

In what is the most recent Rasmussen national telephone survey it was found that just over half, or 51%, of Likely U.S. Voters consider Muslims to be the bigger threat facing the United States today. But it was 13% of these same folks who say they view the Tea Party in that way, while another 13% consider other political and religious extremists to be the larger danger. And then we have 6% who point to local militia groups and just 2% who see the Occupy Wall Street movement as the bigger terrorist threat.

However, and this is where things get a bit nutty, among those who can bring themselves to approve of Barry's job performance, it’s just 29% who see Muslims as the bigger threat while 26% say it’s the Tea Party that concerns them most. And among those who ‘Strongly’ approve of Barry, more of these boobs fear the Tea Party than fear radical Muslims. I'd be willing to bet that, since most blacks view Barry as being able to do no wrong, it's most of these geniuses who say they fear the Tea Party more than Muslims.

As for those who disapprove of Barry’s job performance, it's 75% of those who consider Muslims to be the bigger terrorist threat while just 1% name the Tea Party. Oddly enough, while the Occupy movement was allegedly targeting those "one percenters", upper income Americans are actually more likely than others to see the Tea Party as the bigger terror threat. Among those who earn six-figure incomes, 21% consider the Tea Party the bigger threat, while just 2% say the same of the Occupy movement.

And of those Americans who earn less than $30,000 a year,12% see the Tea Party as the bigger threat, and 7% say it’s the Occupy movement. Conservatives overwhelmingly see Muslims as being the greater terror threat, while wackjob Liberals are fairly evenly divided between Muslims and Tea Party folks. And something else that should come as no surprise is the fact that 20% of government workers see the Tea Party as the bigger terror threat while only 12% of private sector workers hold that view.

So you see, is it any wonder that our country is now headed down the crapper at full speed ahead. Those trying to save it and who are trying to point out how it is that things have become so upside down, are now viewed as the enemy. Our Constitution is being shredded, members of Congress as now marching to the beat of their own drum, ignoring completely those who put them into office and our president seems to think that he's a freakin King! And yet, it's the Tea Party that is somehow seen as being the biggest threat we face?

PAUL RYAN, JUST ANOTHER PHONY?

In Paul Ryan of Wisconsin we have yet another so-called conservative who appears to be nothing but a complete and utter fraud. And for a guy who so many claim is so bright, his recent statements on the immigration bill make it quite clear that he's nothing more than a naïve fool. I mean it's either that or he's simply corrupt and willing to go along with this president and the Democrat Party on nearly anything. Because this boob said just yesterday, on Tuesday, that the Senate's border security amendment is likely to go a long way toward helping immigration reform pass in the House. At least that's what was reported in The Washington Times. Now the point has been made, and abundantly clear, that that border security amendment to which Mr. Ryan refers is completely hollow.

I think Mr. Ryan is well aware of the fact that the Secretary of Homeland Security can pretty much nullify it at any time. If he isn't, then he's nowhere near being as bright as so many people claim him to be. So just what the Hell is Ryan talking about? Ryan claimed, "We're going to take our time." And then went on to say, "The border-security triggers are very important." Adding, "And so that’s going to be probably the keystone of the House legislation, which is, first, you've got to secure the border." Just like Rubio over in the Senate, this guy is talking straight out his ass. He's looking us dead in the eye and lying to us. WHY? The Republicans in the House, who are supposed to be our last line of defense against this corrupt president, are laying the ground work for yet another cave.

The Senate on Monday approved the addition of 20,000 more border patrol agents for the Mexican border and put in place a requirement to install 700 miles of fencing within a decade. But the fine print in this little jewel, and believe me there is plenty of it, should make it very apparent, even to Ryan, that this amendment is nothing it not completely bogus. And yet Ryan says, "I think that that passing helps make this final passage even more likely." Ryan babbled on saying, "I think that making sure that we're emphasizing the border is going to be secure and under control so the rest of immigration reform can come alongside it after the border is secured makes getting a final law that much more likely." And according to Ryan, "But the House will do its own legislation. It won't do the Senate."

Ryan seems to believe that the Senate's emphasis on border security is more in tune with what House lawmakers want to see in immigration reform, at least that's according to The Hill. Ryan also said, "What the Senate just did is, they moved closer to the House's position, which obviously makes final legislation more likely." Well if that's true then the House's position is as fucked up as the Senate one. Sorry, but there's just other way to put it! Ryan said he had every expectation that the House plan would be "similar" to the Senate's bipartisan proposal. Well, gee, now doesn't that just give everybody that nice warm and fuzzy feeling? Ah, NO! That's completely nuts! Ryan was quick to add though, "Similar, but we're going to make sure we do it right." Sure glad you got my back, Paul!

And Ryan promised, "We're going to make sure we secure the border. We're going to make sure we have the E-Verify system up and running and fix legal immigration." He added that the House intends to take up the immigration reform issue in July. Well sure, might as well strike while the iron is hot, right? Look, I'm sorry, but there is just no way in Hell that I can bring myself to actually believe that the Republicans in the House can bring themselves to the point where they will be able to do the right thing. Being spineless wimps is just part of their genetic makeup. And it's so sad, because the country is being dismantled right before our very eyes, and those whom we thought we could count on to prevent just such a thing from occurring now seem to be interested in nothing more than to assist in that dismantling.

JESSE JACKSON GETS DRAGGED INTO THE 21ST CENTURY...

One of those perpetuators of racial hatred who seems to be forever stuck in the past, faux preacher Jesse "The Extortionist" Jackson, described the recent Supreme Court ruling that part of the landmark Voting Rights Act can no longer be enforced, as a "devastating blow." A piece of legislation, I might add, that were it not for Republicans would have never seen the light of day. But that's something that you'll never hear old Jesse talking much about, cause them racist old Republicans just wanna keep da black man down.

The longtime instigator of racial unrest as well as a former Democrat presidential candidate, makes the idiotic claim that Tuesday’s decision somehow threatens decades of what he called progress in ensuring that minorities aren’t denied the right to vote. Yup, old Jesse thinks we're still stuck in the past when such attitudes were something that actually existed. It was a time, in some ways, not that much different from today, where Jesse helps the Democrats in their effort to keep blacks firmly on the political plantation.

Stirring up things between the races has always proven to be a very lucrative enterprise for Jackson, as it has also been for Al "Bull Horn" Sharpton. While we haven't heard from old "Bull Horn" yet regarding this decision, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. That it might somehow come to have an impact on Jackson's cash flow is most likely what Jackson finds so worrisome. Old Jesse always happy to use his fellow blacks anyway he can as a way to pad his bank account.

So anyway, what has Jackson's panties in such a bunch is the fact that the high court has now ruled that Congress can no longer enforce its current formula for deciding which states and local governments still need federal approval before changing voting laws. It says the formula in the 1965 act is based on old patterns of discrimination that might no longer be valid. Jackson says the ruling will destroy gains in "inclusion and expansion." Well no, not exactly, but I'm sure that will be the main story line we hear in the media..

So Jesse gets dragged into the 21st century kicking and screaming. Because as loudly as he will claim that it is otherwise, race relations in 2013 are not the race relations of the 40s, 50s or even 60s. It's time to move "forward", Jesse. Can't live your life as if it was the past anymore. Like it or not progress has been made, with it having been accomplished more in spite of you, than because of you. Martin Luther King you ain't, not even close. He wasn’t a huckster and he wasn't out just to make a buck.

Jesse says he is now calling on Barry "Almighty" as well as our race neutral Department of Justice to "speak out today" and to challenge the ruling. Challenge the ruling? What, so now besides Barry's constantly circumventing Congress, Jackson is now of the opinion that he should also do an end around the Supreme Court as well? What the Hell country am I living in? Last time I checked Barry's title is 'president', not 'Emperor for freakin Life'. Apparently Jesse thinks that it's the latter.

A LETTER TO SENATOR RUBIO...

Dear Senator Rubio,

I remember asking myself, back in 2010 just as the senatorial campaign was beginning to ramp up and after Charlie Crist had officially throw in hat into the ring, that, my God, am I really going to be saddled with Crist as being my choice to vote for as a Republican. I even wrote letters to the editor that attempted to make the point of how this guy was in no way a conservative. Then I started hearing about this young upstart, some young guy by the name of Marco Rubio. So I started listening to some of the things you were saying and I thought, gee this guy sounds like just what I've been looking for.

While, as I remember, you weren't given much of a chance, at least at first, of being able to defeat Crist, but I thought, you were somebody who I could actually vote for without having to dash home and take a shower immediately after leaving my polling place. I loved how it was that you described America, and in listening to your various speeches, it sounded as if you genuinely loved this country as much as I do. And I did something that I hadn't done in a very long time, I actually gave money to your campaign. I wasn't exactly a huge some of money, but at least I felt as if I was assisting in something special.

Well I guess, in a way proving that miracles do happen, over the course of the campaign you came to take a rather sizeable lead over Crist, to the point where he decided to drop out of the race only to return in what has become typical Crist fashion. He decided to run as an independent, appearing quite desperate to get to the Senate. But luckily, or so I thought, his efforts we all for naught, and I could not have been happier on election night to hear that Florida would be sending Senator Rubio to Washington. I felt that slowly but surely we were getting more of the right people into Congress.

And I thought that maybe, just maybe that by sending you into the fight as a conservative, that there was still hope that maybe other voters in other states would be able to recognize the fact that conservative are not what liberals make us out to be. We love our country, we want to see everyone succeed and we want the playing field to be level for all. And we want this country to return to those values on which this country was founded and that make it truly unique among all others. This, I thought, could be mark the beginning of our long road back to restoring America to its rightful place.

Well, sadly less than three short years after arriving on the floor of the U.S. Senate I watch you teaming up with the likes of Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin, and now find myself wondering what the Hell happened. And I hear you saying so many things about this immigration that simply are not true It does nothing to secure our borders and contains far too many amendments that have nothing whatsoever to do with immigration. And yet you and 14 other Republicans have absolutely no problem in continuing to support it. It’s a sham, you know it and those of us who have been paying attention, also know it.

To say that I am disappointed in you would be a gross understatement. I feel like I was lied to, convinced to vote for you, and to donate money, under what were false pretenses. Now I know I shouldn't be surprised by the fact that you essentially stabbed me in the back, you are a politician after all. I suppose it's my fault really, I screwed up, I trusted you. But, Senator Rubio, here's something that you can take to the bank. I'll not forget this act of political treachery, and it will be a very cold day in Hell before you ever get another dollar of mine or another vote from me. Simply put, I'm done with you.

And it is my fervent hope, that come 2016 we here in Florida will be able to convince someone like Allen West to go up against you in a primary. You have demonstrated that you are no longer worthy to represent those who put you their faith in you and who you are supposed to be working for. You've now shown your true colors, Mr. Rubio, and I feel like such a sucker. It just seems as if there are just so few people in government who are worthy of the trust placed in them and you, sir, are not one of them. As much as it pains me to say this, you, Senator Rubio, are a liar. It pains me, because I fell for your lies.

In voting for you I feel I was sold a bill of goods. It's my own fault, I suppose, because, as they say, if something sounds to good to be true, it usually is. And in this case, while you sounded too good to be true, I voted for you anyway. And with twenty/twenty hindsight being what it is, maybe I should have asked more questions or been a little less eager to vote for someone who sounded so much like me on the important issues. OK, SO JUST HOW NUTTY IS AL GORE?

Well I suppose most of us would say, pretty damn nutty. But you have to give the guy credit, he's created quite the lucrative scam for himself with all of his climate change mumbo-jumbo. But in something called a Google "Hangout" which aired online back on June 13, he might have taken things just a bit too far. That's when we heard former vice president and beneficiary of the global warming scam, Al Gore make what has to be one of the most over the top claims yet heard. He claims is that "carbon polluters" are expelling enough "extra energy" to equal almost a half million atomic bombs going off every day.

Gore said, "The total amount of man-made global warming pollution surrounding the planet and the atmosphere today now traps enough extra energy every 24 hours to equal the energy release by 400,000 Hiroshima atomic bombs going off every single day." And then went on to add, "Collectively, we put 90 million tons of global warming pollution into the atmosphere every 24 hours." He complained that, "Twenty percent of it will still be there 10,000 years from now. It’s adding up." I just seems to me like the scare tactics being used continue to get more and more unbelievable. It's 'Chicken Little" all over again.

I mean if you listen to Gore, as well as most Democrats, including Barry, every single unusual weather pattern can somehow be directly related to climate change. During his most recent rant Gore chose to reference the recent flooding in Germany. "There’s a 500-year flood going on in Southern Germany today," Gore said. "We’re seeing these thousand-year, 500-year events occur on a regular basis now," Gore said. Gore said urgency was required to combat global warming and he went so far as to urge Barry "Almighty to "get moving" on an issue that most of us recognize as being pretty bogus.

However it was in an article on global warming that was posted June 20 on Spiegel Online, a German climate scientist by the name of Hans von Storch said that the predictions of a warming planet have not panned out so far. "That hasn't happened," Storch said. He added, "In fact, the increase over the last 15 years was just 0.06 degrees Celsius (0.11 degrees Fahrenheit) – a value very close to zero." Storch, by the way, is a professor at the Meteorological Institute of the University of Hamburg and also the director of the Institute for Coastal Research at the Helmholtz Research Centre in Geesthacht, Germany.

It was in this same Spiegel article that the interviewer asked Storch about that flooding in Germany that Gore referended. To which Storch responded, "Is global warming the culprit?" Storch went on to say, "I'm not aware of any studies showing that floods happen more often today than in the past." Storch also said, "I also just attended a hydrologists' conference in Koblenz, and none of the scientists there described such a finding." So you see, as much as these climate change fanatics would like us all to believe the world is coming to an end, and it's all our fault, there are many who say that it just ain't so!

KERRY-HEINZ SPEWS MORE IDIOTIC 'CLIMATE CHANGE' NONSENSE...

Well our bonehead of a Secretary of State, John Kerry-Heinz is at it yet again, as he travels the globe involving himself in matters that really have nothing, whatsoever, to do with foreign policy. If it isn't gay marriage then it's catastrophic climate change. On this past Sunday it was the latter as Kerry-Heinz took an opportunity to urge the world to ramp up action on climate change, saying in India that changing weather patterns posed major costs to the planet. It was in a speech that he gave in New Delhi that he said, "Here in India, the home of so much of the history of science, we must recognize that today the science of climate change is screaming at us for action." I'm curious though, besides corrupt, leftist loons like himself, who is it, exactly, that's doing all this screaming for some sort of action to be taken.

It certainly isn't that high of a priority here in America, where, these days, people are far more worried about the state of their economy and their ability to get a good job. And taking the action that Kerry-Heinz saw is so desperately needed, would have some seriously adverse effects on both of these concerns. It was after expressing his condolences for the victims of some recent devastating floods in northern India that Kerry-Heinz launched into a level of hysteria reminiscent of what heard here after Hurricane Sandy. Kerry-Heinz said that "it appears as if, in many ways, in many places, Mother Nature is telling us to heed the warnings". Yup, if you're a leftist nut like Kerry-Heinz I suppose you're going to see all manner of red flags everywhere. And when it's proven that there's no need for alarm they do their best to create some nightmare climate scenario.

Speaking ahead of what described as being a major speech on climate change by Barry "Almighty" that will come later this week, Kerry-Heinz said that India was "well aware of the grave threat this global crisis poses". He went on to add, "Yours is already one of the most severely affected nations - and unfortunately, the worst consequences of the climate crisis will confront people who are least capable of coping with them." he added. India, like other emerging economies, has resisted pressure from the West to sign up to targets on cutting carbon emissions. Kerry-Heinz said he understood India's "paramount commitment to development and eradicating poverty" but that failure to act decisively on climate change would undermine growth. If we were to actually do what Kerry-Heinz says it is that we should do, the number of people living in poverty would skyrocket.

I think anyone with a brain surely should be able to recognize that statement as being the pure propaganda that it is. And continuing in his spiel what we all know is nothing but pure, unmitigated bullshit, Kerry-Heinz said, "The good news is that if we do this right, it won't hurt our economies - it will grow them." He then said, "It won't deny our children opportunity - it will create new ones. The new energy market can be the biggest on earth, a $6 trillion market with four billion users - and its fastest growing segment, by far, is clean energy." What the Hell on God's Green Earth is this dope talking about? Does he mean a market made up of those wonderful little 'green' enterprises such as the ones that Barry was only too happy to handover billions of taxpayer dollars to, only to then watch as they went belly-up in a matter of months?

I think most rational people are able to pretty easily comprehend that what Kerry-Heinz is recommending here will accomplish nothing more than to crash economies and bankrupt us all as we go about trying to do nothing more than to simply pay our utility bills. This is nothing if not the worst kind of insanity. The fact is, there has been no increase in temperature here on Mother Earth for over 15 years, and yet Kerry-Heinz, and Barry, are running around like 'Chicken Littles' screaming about how the sky is falling. It was these same 'Chicken Littles' who were once warning us about the coming of a new ice age. None of this makes any sense, nor is there a lick of proof to back up any of this climate change lunacy. It's all just a very creative work of fiction that might make an interesting movie, but not much more than that!

OBAMA MOVES FORWARD WITH HIS GREEN AGENDA…

By golly, how can anyone say that Barry "Almighty’s" does not have the future of our country at heart? Especially when, at least according to The New York Times, Barry plans to announce on Tuesday some sweeping new climate change rules for his Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that he plans to execute by, in typical fashion, once again circumventing Congress. These new regulations of Barry’s are expected to target power plants that provide electricity all across the country and will most assuredly have an adverse impact on the costs to consumers. At the same time Barry is also expected to announce increased funding for alternative fuel production.

"This is a serious challenge – but it’s one uniquely suited to America’s strengths," Barry insisted in a video released by the White House just this weekend. Barry went on to say, "There’s no single step that can reverse the effects of climate change. But when it comes to the world we leave our children, we owe it to them to do what we can." So once again in the name of the children Barry will push forward with more archaic policies the purpose of which is nothing more than to gain for the government more control over the everyday lives of the American people. This is nothing more than a scam forced upon this country by environmental nuts!

Barry knows full well that any attempt by him to pursue his idiotic climate change agenda through new laws passed by Congress is likely to result in gridlock, and rightly so. Hopefully even attempting to do so by administrative fiat would still take him to the end of his term. And according to The Hill, while environmentalists are eagerly awaiting the announcement, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are more than a bit skeptical. Republican House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio called the new effort "absolutely crazy," and Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia predicted "shortsighted" rules that will increase the cost of electricity.

"Why do you want to penalize and beat the living daylights out of America and American taxpayers, and American ratepayers? It is just wrong, it is shortsighted and wrong, and I will fight it until the end," Manchin said. He says that now, but he is a Democrat after all. And with all Democrats the country is always secondary to the advancing of the party agenda. So while Manchin may be talking tough now, I’ll be interested to hear if he’s still talking as tough at the end of summer. Somehow, I doubt it. Which is odd being that he’s from West Virginia. But hey, like I said, it’s all about

Environmentalist wackos everywhere, from Al Gore down to your basic brainwashed moron on the street, continue in their attempts to blame all manner of unusual weather conditions on nothing more than rising temperatures. Many say they are optimistic that Barry's new bureaucratic rules will somehow be able to turn back the tide. "We hope that the president will also announce measures to help communities become more resilient to future storms, floods, drought, heat waves, and wildfires," Daniel J. Weiss, director of climate strategy at the liberal, and rather innocuous sounding, Center for American Progress.

Look folks, there is nothing in what Barry has proposed up to now and nothing that he will propose in the future that is designed for, or has the specific purpose of, helping "communities become more resilient to future storms, floods, drought, heat waves and wildfires. And the sooner we ALL recognize that fact, the better off we’re ALL gonna be. That’s just a fact. Actually, as W.W. Bright once said, "That’s a solid gold fact." This whole notion of global warming has been concocted by the same group of folks who warned us all back in the 70s of a coming ice age. So essentially, they have only moved from one scam on to another scam.

MINORITIES AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY…

You know, I’m really getting tired of hearing how it is that the fault lies with those of us in the Republican Party when it comes to finding a reason that more minorities do not choose to affiliate with our party. But I would argue, that the reason they are more prone to choose the Democrat Party is because the expectations placed on them in doing so, are so much lower than if they were to choose the GOP. Because we expect that they would actually see the need to question any attempt to remake society so that it conforms to some abstract notion of what is just or efficient. And we expect them to possess at least some level of desire to work toward preserving the political philosophy and rules of government as articulated in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.

And we expect them to believe that it is imperative for us to preserve traditional morality, as it is articulated in the Bible, through cultural norms. And we expect them to see the economic wisdom in embracing free-market capitalism, and a belief in the legitimacy of market outcomes. And we expect them to join us in the belief that America is truly an exceptional nation, unique among nations on this planet. That it is that shining city on a hill, whose rightful role is leader of the ‘free world’. And we would expect them to embrace the concept of localism, community and family ties and a responsibility to the future. And a belief that America shouldn't intervene in the affairs of other nations except to defend ourselves from aggression and enforce contracts and treaties.

And we would expect them to possess at least some affinity for, and identification with, Red America's various cultural cues. For example, gun ownership, private property rights and the belief that to be left alone by government is a natural right. And at the same time we would expect them to posses some level of disdain for American liberalism, multiculturalism, identity politics, affirmative action, welfare, European-style social policies, and the left and its ideas generally. And to possess the belief that taxes should be lower and government smaller, and the belief that the national debt and deficits actually puts America in peril. The belief that whenever possible, government budgets should be balanced. Realism in foreign policy. Non-interventionism in foreign policy.

So my point in bringing all of this up is that I think those of us in the Republican Party should have some say when it comes to those compromises our party should be expected to make in order to entice certain minorities to join our ranks. Now while I am perfectly willing to make certain ‘adjustments’, if you will, there is a limit to just how far I would be willing to go, out of fear of diluting what our party truly stands for. I would hate that we would get to the point where we essentially become as soulless as the Democrat Party. The fact is, that it should not be up to the Republican Party to change, it should up to those who wish to join us to recognize the fact that the conservative position, regardless of the issue, more often than not is much better for America.

Unfortunately, those in positions of leadership within our party don’t exactly see things the same way I do. They make the claim that we in the Republican Party need to ‘soften’ our views and be much more tolerant regarding our attitudes on immigration and social issues such as abortion and gay marriage, just to name a few. They say that by doing so would make our party appear more ‘mainstream’ and would therefore make it easier for those looking for a political home to join the party. I would argue that of the two political parties that we have today, the Republican Party is far more ‘mainstream’ than the Democrat Party. It must be recognized that the Democrats are determined to destroy our country and the last time I checked that’s not really a ‘mainstream’ desire.

BEWARE THAT LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL...

I'd like to ask a question of all those who think that they are somehow deserving, or dare I say entitled to, a free ride on the backs of those of us who are getting tired of seeing more and more of our hard earned money taken in the form of higher and higher taxes. Just how much longer do you really think that this insanity can go on? I mean stop and think about it, in the relatively short time, politically speaking, that Barry as been president, a staggering 10 million people have left the workforce, having now simply given up looking for jobs that quite simply no longer exist. And what that amounts to is 10 million fewer people paying taxes and essentially 10 million more, to one extent or another, living off the government. Not exactly a trend that would seem to indicate our long-term economic survival.

Now I know that it seems to be the general perception of most, if not all, of those who make up the government sponsored parasite class in this country, that this can go on pretty much indefinitely. That this soaking of the rich plan being touted by the Democrat is perfectly acceptable because, after all, the rich have more than they ever need, so why not spread their wealth around a little, right? But there's one tiny little flaw in that plan, you see, it's not just the rich who are getting soaked, it's the not so rich as well. And it strikes me as being more than a little naïve that anyone could actually think that the government can just keep taking more and more money from the people who earn it and that there will never come what is that day of reckoning, that day when the people finally say, "ENOUGH!"

So wouldn't it make at least a little sense, since we know deep down inside that that light at the end of the tunnel is actually a train, to start looking ahead? To start looking for a way to actually become a self-sufficient, contributing member, of society? In other words, a way to start covering your own costs of existing on this planet. Why should it be up to me to pay your bills for no other reason than that you somehow feel like you're owed? Because I tell ya friend, when the train finally comes off the tracks, which it most certainly is going to do, it ain't gonna be pretty. That gravy train has very little track left. So don't you think it makes more sense to be able to rely on yourself instead of someone else? I mean, isn't a known, that being yourself, always better than an unknown, that being someone else.

And I'll tell you something else, it would be more beneficial for everyone involved if more folks were to start telling politicians, you know the same ones who profess to care so much about us, but who are only interested in their own political power, to just go fuck themselves? What needs to take place here, and for all I know it may already be too late, is for us, as a nation, to revert back to what it used to mean to be an American. Politicians are simply not to be trusted, I think we've all learned that one the hard way. They will tell you exactly what you want to hear, that you're problems aren't your fault, that the reason that you're living in a ratty 1 bedroom apartment is because the couple down the street is living in a nice 4 bedroom house. But, in fact, one has nothing whatsoever to do with the other.

What's going to have to happen here is that someone is going to be required to finally stand up for our country. And if it's not going to be the politicians whom we elect, that doesn't leave anyone else but the rest of us. And no, no one said it's going to be easy. In fact, it's going to be difficult and it's going to be painful, but what's the alternative? Because this heading on which our supposed leaders have now placed us can end in only one way, and it’s where things will not being ending well for anyone but them. And how ‘fair’ does that sound to anyone? Why should they be permitted to drive us over the cliff and then after we hit bottom to then be able to walk away completely unscathed? We must wrestle control away from these people in Washington, they are no longer worthy of our trust. They have betrayed us!

So boys and girls the time has now officially come for you to put your big boy, and big girl, pants on and to go out into that cold, cruel world and prove to yourself that you are better than what the Democrats have always told you that you are. And to find out for yourself that spending your own money, honestly earned, on something that you truly want actually feels a whole lot better than having to settle for whatever the government thinks you are worth. Come on, we are better than this, aren't we? After all, we are still Americans, although many of us, I think, have forgotten exactly what that means. But it's like riding a bike, you never really forget. It's really important that we now take matters into our own hands, our politicians don't care. We can do this, I know we can! So let's 'Git-R-Done!"

THE CONTINUING SAGA OF RUBIO'S AMNESTY FOLLY...

So, my friends, just when you thought you had all the reasons that you needed not to support this "Gang of Eight" immigration/amnesty legislation, along comes yet another nutty Democrat who is proposing an even nuttier amendment. It seems that on this past Wednesday, Sen. Brian Schatz, a Democrat who hales from Hawaii, that liberal island paradise which, according to Barry, is part of Asia, filed an amendment for the immigration bill that would actually allow stateless people in the U.S. to seek conditional lawful status if their nations have been made uninhabitable by...climate change. Hey Marco, you going along with this lunacy too? Probably, nothing would surprise me at this point!

As it currently stands, the Senate’s immigration bill now being debated already recognizes that people who come to the U.S. may have no country to return to for a variety of reasons and allows them to come forward to apply for legal status as a stateless person. About the only cause for displacement that seems to have remained overlooked in the current law is how the effects of mythical "climate change" has caused people to lose their homes and their nationality. So our enterprising senator from Hawaii has attempted to rectify that obvious little oversight. Making the claim that climate change is not some "abstract challenge," but is already displacing people across the world, Schatz explained:

"The amendment I am proposing is quite simple. If enacted, the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with the Secretary of State, may designate individuals or a group of individuals displaced permanently by climate change as stateless persons.

Again, let me be clear about what this amendment does. It simply recognizes that climate change, like war, is one of the most significant contributors to homelessness in the world. And like with states torn apart and made uninhabitable by war, we have an obligation not to deport people back to a country made uninhabitable by sea level rise and other extreme environmental changes that render these states desolate. It does not grant any individual or group of individuals outside the United States with any new status or avenue for seeking asylum in the United States."

If you choose to believe those environmental extremists who insist upon perpetuating that which has been proven to be bogus more times than I care to count, it was during last year alone that more than 32 million people all across the globe who were supposedly forced to flee from their homes because of climate-related disasters. If you believe that then I have some prime oceanfront property in Arizona that I can let you have real cheap, and I'll even throw in this bridge I own in New York City. We are told that we can expect this climate refugee problem to only grow significantly worse. Theories that foretell of all manner of doom and gloom abound. There's just one thing wrong, it just ain't so!

We're continually told by these climate change alarmists that climate’s impact reach further than just the rise in sea levels, which, they claim, already threatens the very existence of certain islands like Kiribati and the Marshall Islands. And we're also told how agriculture could be made to fail on entire continents as a result of what they call climate-induced desertification. This is the level of insanity that we get from those who identify themselves as being experts in the area of climate change. All an expert is, really, is nothing more than a drip under pressure. Anyway, and this is the sort of pure bullshit that this moron Schatz bases the need for his amendment to what is already an insane piece of legislation.

Supposedly, Schatz’s amendment also requires a federal study of the impact of climate change has on 'internal migration' within the U.S., an issue that is said to affect his home state of Hawaii. The Pacific Islands Regional Climate Assessment (PIRCA) has noted that in the short term Hawaii will see increased likelihood of coastal flooding and erosion, while "mounting threats" to food, water, infrastructure and safety will eventually cause people to migrate from low-lying islands to high. For those unfamiliar with PIRCA it is yet another little work of climate change propaganda essentially put together with the assistance of over 100 scientific 'experts' and practitioners of the climate change religion. It's BUNK!

So I guess my point here is that while we cannot have an amendment that actually deals specifically with the tightening of border security, we do have time to seriously discuss an amendment that is pretty far removed from reality. And I'm pretty sure that there are more than enough Democrats, and maybe even some Republicans, in the senate who would be more than willing to vote for Schatz's idiotic amendment. Which brings me back to my previous question. Is this, too, something that Marco Rubio is now willing to support in an effort to get his amnesty legislation passed? I mean, up to this point he's been pretty willing to go along with just about anything. Enjoy your one term Marco, it'll be your last!

Just one last thing. Suppose the Democrats are right, that Republicans, by voting against this thing, are cutting their own political throats and that for decades to come will be made to walk the political wilderness because Hispanics will desert them in droves. Well I tell ya what, if that does come to pass at least we went down to defeat standing for something. It's not much, but it's something. And another thing, in about five years, assuming Hitlery gets elected in 2016, when this entire country implodes, I wonder how many of those folks now here illegally will be headed back to their homeland? Because the sad fact is, their little gravy train here ain't got that much track left. And maybe that's what's needed anyway.

JUST A PERSONAL OBSERVATION...

You know, I hear liberals say all the time how it is that, regrettably, racism remains very much alive and well in the America of the 21st century. And while I agree with them, up to a point, I disagree with them entirely when it comes to whom that they claim is the source for most, if not all, of that racism. Regardless of what liberals, and most blacks, would have you believe, I see random acts of kindness, on a pretty regular basis, where whites are helping out blacks. Just the other day I saw a young white kid helping out an old black lady whose car wouldn't start. Without really even being asked, he retrieved some jumper cables from the trunk of his car, hooked them up and got her car started without so as much as even a thank you. Which brings me to my point here.

Sadly while racism is alive and well in America today, it has as its home, the black community, and to a lesser extent the Hispanic community. And it's ironic, I think, because we're always told how religious these two groups of people are and how conservative they are in their values, as if that is supposed to preclude them from ever displaying racist tendencies of any kind. But just because one goes to church, doesn't mean that one is religious. These folks will cuss you out and flip you off either on their way to, or on their home from, church. And I don’t believe Christ ever preached about the Christian virtue of getting as much as you can, with as little effort as possible, from your neighbor. I could be wrong but I don't ever remember hearing anything like that from my days of Sunday School.

Minorities, today, somehow feel that the rest of us owe them something. And that when we choose to disagree with their idiotic premise, we only do so because we're racist. But race has nothing whatsoever to do with why I refuse to accept their cockamamie notion that has me owing them something for no other reason than because I happen to be white and they aren't. I am a very firm believer in the idea that you will reap from this life a level of prosperity that is equal to the amount of energy that you expend in that direction. We are all products of the decisions that we have made up whatever stage of life we are presently at. If we've made bad decisions that is no one's fault but our own, and thus where we end up in life is where we were lead by the trail of decisions that we've left behind.

But most of those in the various minority communities don't accept that argument. They feel that regardless of their unwillingness to make good decisions, whatever problems they have had along the way, can in no way be seen as being their fault. Granted it may have been them that made the poor decisions, but they only did so because of some outside influences that were, somehow, made to act on them by whites. Minorities, and blacks in particular, are essentially their own worst enemy. They have this inferiority complex that is essentially the direct result of decades of being told by Democrats that they are somehow incapable of making it on their own without plenty of outside help. They've gotten to the point where they now believe that nonsense, and actually, they are quite content to believe it, because it usually gives them a leg up on the competition.

Hopefully there will come a day, although I doubt that I'll see it in my lifetime, when we will reach that time that Martin Luther King spoke of so eloquently, that time where ALL men will be judged on the content of their character and not the color of their skin. Wouldn't it be something if we stopped viewing ourselves as being adversaries and started thinking of ourselves as being nothing other than Americans? I mean we are all in this thing together, and if this ship sinks, which, at this point in time, it looks like it just might, then we're all going to go down with it. White, black or brown, it's not really going to matter. So I guess what I'm trying to get at here is that if we are to have any hope for surviving very far into the future, then we're ALL going to need to come together, roll up our sleeves and get to work.

IMMIGRATION 'REFORM'…ARE WE ON THE VERGE OF BEING SOLD OUT?

If we can believe those in the know, a deal has now been struck that is said will dramatically increase bipartisan support for this debacle of a bill and therefore increase the odds for U.S. Senate passage in overwhelming fashion. This 'deal', is said to have been arrived at on Wednesday after a group of Republican and Democrat negotiators is said to have come to an agreement on ways to shore up border security. But still, the list of all that is so horribly wrong with this bill remains far longer than the list of the supposed benefits to be gained by its passage. This is all nothing more than smoke and mirrors, an attempt to hoodwink the public until it's too late for us to do anything about it.

So after days of what were described as being some pretty 'intense' negotiations, a small group of senators struck upon that ever illusive compromise, one that was being floated more broadly in an attempt to better gauge exactly its level of support will be generated, or so Republican Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee told reporters. "I think we've overcome the issues that have separated the group in negotiations. I think we're together now," Corker said. Sorry, but as far as I’m concerned, Corker doesn't instill all that much confidence especially since his recent teaming up with Joe Manchin earlier this year in coming up with a requirement for universal background checks for those buying a gun.

It still remains relatively unclear how this new 'deal' might be received by those senators considered to still be undecided regarding this most recent attempt at immigration 'reform'. If they're smart it will make no difference. Because as the saying goes, putting lipstick on a pig doesn't alter the fact that you still have a pig. This entire scheme is designed for no other purpose than to provide an escape clause meant to entice support from those Senators now sitting on the fence in the hopes that the Senate would approve the bill by a large enough margin that would then give it a greater chance of success in the House, which, as you know, is headed up by the very spineless, John Boehner.

A Senate aide who is said to be familiar with the talks said the tentative agreement called for what was referred to as "an unprecedented deployment" of law enforcement personnel at the southwestern border with Mexico and new commitments to strengthen border fences. Right, like that's going to EVER happen under this president. And as the Senate was busy concocting a way to pass this legislation, we had 25 members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus who were meeting with that stalwart defender of the Constitution, John Boehner, to discuss prospects for a bill in that chamber. And I'm sure Boehner told them there was absolutely nothing to worry about.

Democrat Ruben Hinojosa of Texas, who chairs the caucus, said Boehner told them "there is a big effort on both sides of the aisle to come to some compromise" on a bipartisan bill that could pass in the Republican-led House. Now, as is usually the case here, I'm quite confident in the fact that we can reliably count on Speaker Boehner to cave on this truly important issue as he usually has no problem with, very enthusiastically, throwing the country under the bus, all in the name of political expediency. Boehner is nothing if not completely worthless as being any kind of an actual leader. And his trusty sidekicks, Cantor and McCarthy really aren't any better.

The Senate bill, in theory, which would bring the biggest change in U.S. immigration policy since 1986, would put 11 million undocumented residents on what called a pathway to citizenship, strengthen border security and update the U.S. visa system. But in fact I think most us realize that the specific purpose of this bill is to do nothing more than to grant amnesty to the 11 million who are currently here and will actually result in a massive influx of over 46 million MORE immigrants by 2033. Who in their right mind seriously thinks that this country will be able to absorb this amount of people? People, by the way, who absolutely refuse to assimilate and to learn English.

Corker indicated that the tentative deal, which he implied could still fall apart, contains additional money, on top of the more than $6 billion already in the bill, for border security operations. And a Republican demand that the Barry's administration achieve a 90 percent success rate in stopping illegal border crossings as a condition for the pathway to citizenship was "not a sticking point anymore," at least according to Corker. Now of course he didn't elaborate, why should he? Which should make us all more than a little leery about what language is actually contained in this 'deal'. Because the Democrats have, for a very long time, pressed hard to prevent such a link.

Frankly, I still fail to understand why it is that the Republicans are expending so much energy in their effort to try to pass what is such a seriously flawed bill. And I'm curious why it is that this bill, in its present form, has to be over 1000 pages and weigh 24 pounds. This is nothing short of pure insanity, and I'm embarrassed to say that if it does come to pass it will be because of one man, Marco Rubio. I find it sad that a man who professes to love this country so much, which why I voted for him, will be one who will have played a crucial role in it being forever altered, and not in a good way. I regret ever voting for this man, and will never do so again!

MARCO RUBIO...NOTHING MORE THAN A LIAR...

It seems that with each passing day I find myself being just a little more embarrassed for having fallen for the promises made by Marco Rubio during his campaign for the senate back in 2010. I was sucked in by his portrayal of America and of his vision of what America should, and could once again, be. But it was all just a ruse. Because when I compare what I heard then to what I see coming from him today, with him playing essentially the starring role in the midst of this horrendous piece of immigration legislation, I recognize that what was said then was intended for no other purpose than to get him elected.

Further proof, as if I needed any, of Rubio's deceit, came on Tuesday when the senate decided to reject building the 700 miles of double-tier border fencing that Congress had authorized seven years ago. A majority of the Senate said they didn’t want to delay granting illegal immigrants legal status while the fence was being built. Well now that makes loads of sense. By a vote of 54-39 they decided to reject the fence. The vote broke mostly along party lines, although five reliable RINOs, including Rubio, as well as the rest of the bill’s authors, chose to vote against the fence, while there were two Democrats who voted for it.

Republicans had offered the fence as a way to build the confidence of voters who remain skeptical that the government can be trusted to enforce its laws, but opponents offered up the rather lame excuse of saying that the building of more fencing is simply too costly, would take too long, and shouldn’t be dictated by Washington. RINO John McCain said, "I think we should leave that to the best judgment of the Border Patrol." McCain, as you may or may not know, is one of the RINO members of the "Gang of Eight" who concocted this complete disaster of an immigration bill currently being 'discussed.' War hero or not, this guy is a disgrace on so many levels.

It was Sen. John Thune, South Dakota Republican, who proposed the border fence amendment, which would have prevented the administration from granting any illegal immigrants legal status under the bill until at least 350 miles of double-tier fencing has been erected, and would withhold full citizenship rights until 700 total miles have been built. Minutes after the border fence, senators also voted to further weaken current law that requires the government to have biometric checks such as fingerprints or eye-scans for every visitor to the U.S., a recommendation that actually came from the 9/11 commission

Senators said it is too expensive to check fingerprints at all air, land and sea ports of entry. So out of the Billions of dollars that are literally wasted by our government every single day, nothing can be spent to keep out those who should not be in this country. I feel like I'm in the "Twilight Zone." Instead, this bill calls for photographic checks at air and sea ports, but excludes land ports. Mr. Thune, sponsor of the fence proposal, then asked, what I thought was, a very reasonable question. He simply asked, "When is our federal government going to keep its promises when it comes to the issue of border security?"

Rubio made the idiotic claim that he supports building a border fence, and pointed to $1.5 Billion included in his bill for more infrastructure, which he said will go to a fence plan. But Rubio's excuse for not supporting Thune's amendment was because it didn’t lay out the details for "a specific border plan." Rubio added, "Therefore, I will oppose his amendment and instead continue to work with my Republican colleagues to arrive at a new measure that improves on the significant border security measures already in the bill." He's such a hypocrite! And it pains me no end that not only did I vote for him, but I gave him money.

The border now has 651 miles of barriers, but only 36 miles are at least double-tier fencing. Another 316 miles are single-tier pedestrian fencing, and the rest, 299 miles, are vehicle barriers that still allow wildlife, and people, to cross. The border fence vote was one of several key showdowns expected as the Senate works on its immigration bill, which grants what is essentially nothing more than amnesty to most, if not all, of the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants currently residing in the U.S.. Now the supporters of this bill, including Rubio, can deny that fact until the cows come home, but that's what it is!

I think it's pretty obvious here what the true motives behind this "Gang of Eight" debacle really are. And the fact that RINOs Graham and McCain have teamed up with 'Little Dick Durbin, 'Little Chuckie' Schumer and Bob ‘Love Underage Hookers’ Menendez should come as no surprise. Also it should come as no surprise that the entire design of this bill is to, not only, grant outright amnesty to over 11 Million people here illegally, but also to weaken the security of our border to the point where it simply becomes nonexistent. Oh, and also what this bill essentially does is to create 11 Million new Democrat voters. And Rubio seems to be just fine with all of that.

What's going to happen here is that this Rubio inspired amnesty bill will most likely pass the senate with what some are saying, will be as many as 70 votes. It will then move on to House. And this is where things really get dicey, because then we're going to be forced to rely on Speaker Boehner to do what's right for the country and not just what's politically expedient. And these days I don't trust Boehner anymore than I trust Barry. So here we sit, completely at the mercy of those whom we continue to think, when we elect them, will do those things that convinced us to vote for them in the first place. I feel so used.

MIGHT BOEHNER'S DAYS AS SPEAKER BE NUMBERED?

So I guess we may soon find out the 'stuff' of which John Boehner is made. One reason I say that is because Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) has now come out, and rather publically, saying that Speaker John Boehner should be ousted if he decides to ram through an immigration bill without majority Republican support. On Monday during an interview on World Net Daily radio, Rohrabacher said, "If Speaker Boehner moves forward and permits this to come to a vote even though the majority of the Republicans in the House—and that’s if they do—oppose whatever it is that’s coming to a vote, he should be removed as Speaker."

Rohrabacher was responding to Boehner’s recent assertion that immigration reform is now at the top of his legislative agenda and the fact that the Speaker implied during an interview with ABC just last week that he would not rule out pushing a bill through without the support of a majority of his party, a violation of the so-called "Hastert rule." Mr. Rohrabacher said, "I would consider that a betrayal of the Republican members of the House and a betrayal of the Republicans throughout the country." The Washington Examiner reported Sunday that Boehner has since decided that he will not call a vote without his party’s backing.

Rohrabacher also said he is "alerting the American people to this danger that is right upon us" and he took the opportunity to slam the "Gang of Eight" for voting down Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-Iowa) amendment requiring the implementation of stricter border security before legalization. "There will be no border security improvements. It’ll all be a facade," Rohrabacher said of the bill. He also attacked the immigration bill’s supporters, saying "those people pushing this bill are doing it in the most deceptive and dishonest way." I mean what we seem to be seeing here is legislative process reminiscent of the process employed in the passage of Obamacare.

Number one on Rohrabacher’s list of those attempting to hoodwink the American public, is none other than my senator, Marco Rubio, whom he accused of using "weasel words" in a bid for reform. "Rubio is so mixed up and so confused. I think he has given up his rightful place to advise any of us in Washington what to do and…he’s given up any right to be trusted by the American people," Rohrabacher said. Even I can't argue with that assessment, and I voted for Rubio. He continued: "I’m not going to vote for any bill that has a provision that legalizes the status of those people who are here illegally." Andisn’t that as it should be? Shouldn’t we focus on border security first?

But as is usually the case, I need to see deeds to start matching the rhetoric that I'm hearing. Because, more often then not, never the twain shall meet. I've been burned before, too many times to count, and most recently by Rubio in particular, and it's beginning to get rather tiresome. I would love to start seeing a little backbone being exhibited by those in Congress who profess to be on my side. And if we need to hold Mr. Boehner's feet to the fire, then so be it. Because there have been more than a few instances where I've found myself wondering exactly whose side it is that he might be on. And if he's not up to this important task, then maybe it is time for a new speaker.

CURRENT IMMIGRATION PLAN IS WRONG FOR AMERICA...

Well there seems to be a lot of propaganda currently flying around, coming primarily from a couple of member of that stellar little group referred to as the "Gang of Eight". And the point of it all is, or near as I can figure, is to serve as at least an attempt at scare tactics. It seems that they wish to warn Republicans that any hopes they may have of reclaiming the White House, come 2016, could very well hinge on whether they choose to support, or to sabotage, the immigration overhaul currently being debated in the Senate. Even if such a theory is correct, is it sufficient cause for us to simply forfeit on our principles. Personally I think it's all just a crock of shit!

First up we have Lindsey Graham, RINO-S.C., a rather unique little fella who hasn't made a lick of sense, on nearly any issue, since first being elected. We heard him this past Sunday chastise those conservatives who are trying to block the measure, going to far as to claim that they will doom the party and all but guarantee a Democrat will remain in the White House after 2016's election. Then we had Robert Menendez, yet another rather kinky Democrat who has a bizarre penchant for underage hookers, who took things a step further and actually predicted "there'll never be a road to the White House for the Republican Party" if immigration overhaul fails to pass.

So the Senate is now moving forward with a supposed overhaul and appears to be on track to have a vote from the full Senate by July 4. And rumor has that it has more then enough votes for passage, which could be as many as 70 votes in favor of the legislation. A timeline for a House proposal is less certain, although leaders say they are working on plans that more closely follow conservatives' wish list. Lawmakers from both parties voted to begin formal debate on a proposal that would give an estimated 11 million immigrants now in the U.S. illegally what is claimed to be a long and difficult path to citizenship, but is really anything but.

Meanwhile, one of the proposal's authors, who is himself considering a White House run in 2016, refused again to pledge support for the measure without changes conservatives have demanded. "I think 95, 96 percent of the bill is in perfect shape and ready to go. But there are elements that need to be improved," said RINO Marco Rubio. I think it very safe to say that Rubio has every intention of supporting this thing no matter what, and any claims otherwise are nothing more than political bullshit. He's either extremely naïve, or incredibly stupid, if he thinks that anyone out here is buying his crap. As the saying goes, fool me one shame on me, fool me twice…..

Rubio is doing his best in an attempt to balance concerns from his party's conservative flank, which has great sway in picking a nominee, with the political attempt to win over Hispanic and Asian-American voters who overwhelmingly favored Barry "Almighty's" re-election in 2012. Further complicating Rubio's presidential aspirations, the Republican-led House hews toward tea partyers. Personally speaking I think Rubio has already shot himself in the foot as far as his presidential aspirations. I voted for Rubio for senator and feel that all I got for my trouble was a knife in the back, I might as well have voted for Crist. And I know there are others who think like me.

Graham made the claim, "After eight years of President Obama's economic policies, and, quite frankly, foreign policy, people are going to be looking around." This moron went on to say, "But if we don't pass immigration reform, if we don't get it off the table in a reasonable, practical way, it doesn't matter who you run in 2016. We're in a demographic death spiral as a party and the only way we can get back in good graces with the Hispanic community, in my view, is pass comprehensive immigration reform. If you don't do that, it really doesn't matter who we run." The political insight of this boob leave much to be desired. The Republicans must stand for America, someone has to.

In 2012, Barry won re-election with the backing of 71 percent of Hispanic voters and 73 percent of Asian voters. A thwarted immigration overhaul could again send those voting blocs to Democrats' side. That has led some Republican lawmakers to support immigration reform, but the party's conservative base still opposes any legislation that would create a pathway to citizenship for immigrants living here illegally. Just once I wish there were enough folks on our side who actually possess a spine. Standing up against that which you know is wrong regardless of the political consequences takes true courage, and that's what's lacking on our side.

Democrats are well aware of the numbers. "I would tell my Republican colleagues, both in the House and the Senate, that the road to the White House comes through a road with a pathway to legalization," Menendez said. "Without it, there'll never be a road to the White House for the Republican Party." But you see, I think to say such a thing is to assume that Hispanics and Asians, deep down, don't want a better life for their children. What the GOP needs to focus on is the rolling over on immigration reform, but in convincing all minorities that government incapable of providing that better future to their children.

Look, if these idiot Hispanic and Asian voters want nothing more than to doom their future generations to a life in poverty, then let them go ahead and vote for all the Democrats that they want. If they're not smart enough to recognize the consequences of being so foolish and how it accomplishes nothing more than the electing of even more corrupt Democrats, then, I suppose, we're screwed anyway. And if they are truly unable to see how the Democrats simply lie to them just to gain their vote, then they're too stupid to be on our side anyway. Why should we give up on our principles for no other reason than to hope enough of these people will vote for Republicans?

OBAMA TAKES A HIT IN THE OLD TRUST DEPARTMENT...

Now when the Communist News Network, otherwise known as CNN, comes out and tells you that it has taken a poll which would seem to indicate the Barry "Almighty's" approval rating has dropped 8 percentage points over the course of the last month, it might actually be safe to assume that this plummet might even more serious than what CNN says it is. This most recent drop is also, by the way, one of the sharpest, fastest plunges experienced by Barry at any time during his presidency. And isn't that a shame?

For the first time since we first began this little sleigh ride to Hell referred to as the Obama presidency, more than half of the public does not now feel that Barry is all that honest or trustworthy, or so this CNN/ORC International poll would seem to show. Specifically, Barry's approval rating stands at 45 percent and that's down from 53 percent in mid-May. And 54 percent of respondents told pollsters they disapprove of how Barry is handling his job. That was up nine points in just a month.

This makes the first time in CNN polling, at least since November 2011, that a majority of Americans have had a negative view of Barry, at least according to CNN. The significant drop in Barry's approval rating was fueled by a sharp 17-point decline among those Americans under 30, according to the poll. That's particularly discouraging heading into 2014 because Democrats have felt they have a lock on the youth vote after the 2012 elections. Any the most likely still will, after all, this is not the most informed demographic.

"The drop in Obama's support is fueled by a dramatic 17-point decline over the past month among people under 30, who, along with black Americans, had been the most loyal part of the Obama coalition," CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. I think we all know that short of perhaps being guilty of something like mass murder, the black community will remain very firmly in Barry's camp. I mean, how many black babies have been aborted in the last 53 months and that seems to bother them very little.

Barry also dropped 10 points among those who classify themselves as being independent voters, from 47 percent last month to 37 percent. Barry's disapproval among independents jumped 12 points to 61 percent. Again, more bad news for Democrats because those independents are especially important in mid-term elections in which older, more conservative Americans predominate. The network pointed to several ongoing major scandals as evidence for the rather precipitous drop.

The poll also found: 1) Six in 10 disapprove of how Barry is handling government surveillance of U.S. citizens. That's higher than the 52 percent who disapproved of Bush on the same issue in 2006, when government surveillance was also in the headlines. 2) Barry's approval rating on terrorism, although still above 50 percent, has taken a 13-point hit since mid-May. And, 3) Barry's approval rating on domestic issues like the economy, immigration and the deficit dropped by two to four points.

Ok, so Barry takes a hit in the trust department, so what, it's not like we aren't still gonna be stuck with his dumb ass for nearly another four years anyway. And besides, if the cadre of morons on our side, with 'RINO' Rubio leading the charge, do pass this disastrous "Gang of Eight" debacle, and the idiots in the House go along, there will be a whole new crop of ready made Democrats who will be only too happy to vote for any Democrat as long as they promise to keep those 'benefit' checks coming on time.
