IT’S ALL ABOUT PRIORITIES…OBAMA’S PRIORITIES…

I think we all know by now that Barry possesses a rather peculiar set of priorities. Priorities that are rooted much more in the politics of a specific issue than how it is that an issue may come to affect the American people. So it is then that despite repeated calls for him to visit the U.S.-Mexico border to witness firsthand the impact of thousands of Central American children illegally crossing into our country, Barry "Almighty" will instead be attending some fundraisers accompanied by those who call themselves pro-immigration ‘activists’.

Barry is scheduled to attend an event on Wednesday with actors Rosario Dawson, Danny Trejo and Jessica Alba. In addition, Barry will also visit the home of Austin-based filmmaker Robert Rodriguez for an event to which tickets will go for as much as $32,400. Rodriguez, whose resume includes the "Machete" franchise, recently released a trailer for a movie in which Arizona's illegal immigration laws are openly mocked. So, as is usually the case, Barry seems quite comfortable associating with those of rather questionable character and background.

During his trip to Texas, Barry rather reluctantly agreed to meet with Gov. Rick Perry and faith leaders, as long as it’s on a not to interfere basis with those fundraisers that Barry also has plans to attend, allowing him to spend plenty of time with any number of Hollywood elites and immigration advocates. Initially, the White House had sought to allow Perry the privilege of greeting Barry "Almighty" on the tarmac in Austin, but after the Texas governor rebuffed that very kind offer, Barry begrudgingly agreed to a face-to-face meeting.

The day before departing for Texas, Barry pt in a request for $3.7 Billion in what were referred to as ‘emergency funds’ required to deal with the burgeoning crisis along the border. In addition to seeking money to facilitate deportation proceedings, the White House also included $615 Million for wildfire suppression in its request. But what was brought to light a short time later was the fact that we could actually fly every single one of these kids back to where it is that they came from for about $8 Million. That would seem to be a bargain.

Barry's decision not to schedule even the briefest of visits to areas directly affected was also being criticized by some Democrats. During an interview on Tuesday with Fox News, Rep. Henry Cuellar, a Texas Democrat, said he understands why he is attending fundraising, but added that "he can get on Air Force One right after the last fundraiser, go down to the border, take half an hour, 45 minutes at most to fly down there, and then go see the situation. I think that is going to be very important."

Look, like I said in the beginning, what this all comes down to is Barry’s ideological priorities. What’s now taking place at our border is exactly what Barry intended to have happen. And am I the only one who sees it as being rather odd that while Barry claims to be simply following the letter of the law, a law signed by George Bush, yet when it comes to Obamacare he is able to rather broadly, to say the least, interpret ‘that’ law. Once again Barry has demonstrated that he is rather selective when it comes to which laws he wishes to enforce and which ones he does not.
